:: Pre-Concert, Rascal Flatts, 8:39 PM, Austin, Texas ::

** The lights are still flooding the arena. The stage is still being set up, guitars are being tuned, mics checked. The banner curtain on the stage reads "Coors Light presents: Rascal Flatts". Women of all ages wearing cowgirl hats buzz excitedly. The men with them sit in their seats, somewhat bored. Gay men who came with some of the girls are buzzing just as excitedly as the girls they are with. About 2 rows back from the front, in the middle of the row across the stage, sits Heather Halliwell, and her two best friends and sisters for life, Heff Bentley and Holly Halliwell. Heff and Holly are already standing on their seats, trying to peek into the backstage area, hoping to catch a glimpse at one of the guys. **

Heff Bentley
AAAH! Was that Gary? I hope that was Gary! GARY!

Holly Halliwell
Jay! Jay! Jay!

Heff Bentley
And Silent Bob!

Holly Halliwell
No, just Jay!

Heff Bentley
Oh Heather! I think I just saw Joe Don!

Heather Halliwell
That's nice...

Holly Halliwell
Okay, now there is going to be NO telling us fine. You have been moody all day... What is wrong with you?

** The fact was, Heather wasn't in a good mood. She hadn't been since Sean left her house. When she looked back at her Book Of Shadows after Sean left, a page was missing. This worried her to no end. She remembered realizing it was gone, sitting down and trying to figure out what Sean was up to. She looked up at her companions, and sighed. **

Heather Halliwell
It's Sean... He stole a page out of my Book of Shadows. I don't know what he's up to, but I have a feeling it's no good.

Heff Bentley
He did what?! What spell did he steal?

Heather Halliwell
He stole the incantation to bring ones spirit or a former ego back to exsistence...

Holly Halliwell
Oh god... You don't think he's bring back one of his psycho ego's, do you?

Heather Halliwell
That's exactly what I'm afraid of. I was going to go back on my original plan, which was to educate him to the Dark Magick I once knew, but I realized that it would be a huge mistake. I know how it consumed me, and I didn't want the same thing to happen to him.

Heff Bentley
Well, aren't all those spells in straight Latin?

Heather Halliwell
They are, why?

Heff Bentley
Then stop worrying. There is a good chance he doesn't even know how to read Latin. So if he tried to do the spell, he'd get the words wrong, and nothing would happen. And even if he DID get the words right, he'd need some driving force or motivation to make it work beyond that.

** Heather pondered these words carefully. As she did, the lights dimmed and the crowd cheered loudly. Holly and Heff started screaming. Heather smiled and stood up, anticipating the concert. She looked happily at her sisters and let the excitement of the crowd wash over her. She shouted loud enough for them to hear. **

Heather Halliwell
You're right! I'm not going to worry about it, at least not tonight. I'll call Sean in the morning, tonight is all about the Rascal Flatts!

** As she says this, the lights on the stage burst on. The guitars come to life, as do the drums, and the curtain rolls back. Heather starts yelling loudly as the song "Here's To You" start becoming comprehensible. The guys hadn't hit the stage yet, as the guitars draw out the beginning of the song. From the middle of the stage, a pedestal with three figures rises up. Heather screams loudly, recognizing the figures as the Rascal Flatts themselves. Gary puts the mic to his mouth and starts singing loudly, and the crowd erupts. Heather smiles, and starts singing along, knowing the night was going to be awesome. **

:: Post-Concert Activity, Backstage Dressing Room, 10:47 PM::

** Heather, Holly, and Heff are standing with two other anxiously waiting young women. They met the twins, Genna and Gillian in the seats next to theirs and became fast friends. With a combined effort, the girls managed to sweet talk their way into the backstage area. The guard led them to the dressing room where the guys would enter after meet and greeting some of the fans along the stage. **

Genna
Oh my god, I can't believe we are really back here! I can't wait to meet Gary, he is soooo gorgeous!

Gillian
Honey, Jay! I can't wait to see Jay, those eyes, that dark hair...

Heather Halliwell
Am I the only one here who can't wait to touch Joe Don?

Holly, Heff, Gillian, and Lilly in unison
NO!

** Heather laughs and the girls continue to talk excitedly about the guys. They get so engrossed in conversations about their fantasies involving the guys, they don't notice the band slink into the dressing room. Gary, Jay, and Joe Don listen, quite amused with what they are hearing. This goes on for a few minutes before Holly looks up and lets out an involuntary squeal. The other girls spin around, and their mouths drop open. Joe Don laughs and steps forward first to speak for the guys. **

Heather Halliwell
Umm... How much of that did you guys actually here?

Joe Don Rooney
Just enough to know that I should dump my bunny, because you are all the Playboy I need.

Heather Halliwell
Oh god...

Joe Don Rooney
No, I'm quite flattered you like me enough to say that. Makes what I do worth doing.

Heather Halliwell
Well, have you looked at yourself recently... What girl in her right mind wouldn't fantasize about you?

** Joe Don chuckles and sweeps Heather up into a sweet, big hug. In the meantime, Jay DeMarcus and Gary LeVox are talking to Heff, Holly, Gillian, and Lilly. Heather and Joe Don go over and join them. After intoductions are made, autographs are signed, and the first round of pictures is taken, everyone sits down. Gillian and Holly sit on either side of Jay, while Lilly and Heff sit on either side of Gary, staring almost adoringly at him. Heather and Joe Don sit on a love seat by themselves. **

Gary LeVox
So how did you girls become fans of ours?

Holly Halliwell
Well, Heather and I are sisters...

Jay DeMarcus
I can tell, you two are really pretty, you look a lot alike.

Holly Halliwell
Aw, thank you so much! Anyway, we were sitting at home one day, and your video for "Prayin' For Daylight" came on the country music channel. It was the world premiere, and we were both just hooked after that.

Heff Bentley
And after they saw it, they told me to watch for it, because my taste in music is the same as theirs.

Joe Don Rooney
And how about you two girls?

Genna
Our mother wouldn't let us listen to our own music until this year when we turned 18, but we heard "I Melt" on the radio and became instant fans. We went out and bought your CD's and just fell in love with them.

Heff Bentley
Excuse me for interrupting, but Gary, I gotta say this. You are so hot, why do you have to be married?

Jay DeMarcus
Hey Gary, you got a fan!

Gary LeVox
Hey Jay, I got two!

Jay DeMarcus
Hey, me too!

Heather Halliwell
Hey look, I'm sitting next to Joe Don!

** Everyone looks at Heather in confusion, but all holding back laughter. Heather just grins innocently and shrugs her shoulders. **

Heather Halliwell
I was feeling left out, I wanted to make an outburst.

Jay DeMarcus
Random outbursts are the best.

Heff Bentley
Haha, yes they are!

** A phone starts ringing after this. Everyone reaches around, but it turns out to be the twins. They pick up, and as they talk, their faces fall. The argue for a few moments, before hanging up. Both look near tears. **

Gillian
That was our Mom. She is waiting in the parking lot, and she wants us to come now. We don't want to go, but we have to.

Gary LeVox
That's a shame, we're sorry. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves, and the show.

Genna
Oh we did, don't you doubt that. And thank you so much for not being mad that we were back here when you got here. We were scared that you would be mad and kick us out.

Joe Don Rooney
Of course not, ladies. We tell one security guard to allow at least three girls backstage each show. We love to interact with our fans and get their opinions up close and personal.

** The guys stand up and give the twins another hug before they depart. Joe Don makes himself comfortable next to Heather again, Gary next to Heff, and Jay next to Holly. Heather grins mischieviously and looks around the room. **

Heff Bentley
So, who is up for a game of strip poker?

Jay DeMarcus
I'd love to, but I have a feeling my wife would frown upon that.

Holly Halliwell
*muttering* She doesn't have to know.. I just wanna see you naked.

Gary LeVox
Actually, we need to be heading out really soon. We have a date set for tomorrow morning, and we need to get some sleep or we'll be dead on stage tomorrow.

Heather Halliwell
And if you forget, I have a flight to catch tomorrow. I have to be in Philadelphia by Sunday.

Joe Don Rooney
That's quite a ways from here. Why Philly?

Heather Halliwell
It's for my job, I'm a professional wrestler.

Gary LeVox
Oooh, a tough girl. Thats sexy, I hope you go far with that.

Holly Halliwell
Oh, she will. She has all the athletic ability in the world, but can never find a stable steady place to wrestle. She's always bouncing around, sometimes I wonder if she's so talented, she's cursed.

Heff Bentley
Hey you guys... I still have half this roll, and another entire roll of film left. Can we use it on random pictures with you guys? That would rock so hard, and make our friends jealous. Help some girls out. Pleeeeeeeeeeease?

** The guys agree, and one by one, the girls manage to use up the extra film. Happy, Heff thanks them, and gives each of the guys a hug and kiss on the cheek. Heather and Holly follow these actions, each one giving a farewell in the process. When Heather reaches Joe Don, she leaves her lips on his cheek for a little longer than she did the other two guys. Joe Don smiles down at her and kisses her cheek in return. They wave as they go out to the door. Once in the parking lot, they see that they are the only ones left. At their car, all three girls look at each other and start screaming at the top of their lungs. **

Holly Halliwell
That did not just happen! I'm dreaming, that didn't really just happen! We did not just spend *Holly looks at her watch.* two hours hanging out with the Rascal freakin' Flatts!

Heff Bentley
Oh Holly, we did! And once I get these suckers developed, we'll have almost two rolls of films worth to prove it!

Heather Halliwell
Girls, do you realizes this is the luckiest we've ever been when it came to a concert at meeting people? Well, not meeting them, but actually getting to stop them for a few minutes to talk to them?

** Heather slides into the drivers seat in the jeep. Holly slides in the passenger seat next to her, and Heff jumps into the back. Heather is still smiling as she talks with her friends excitedly about the night, but as the adrenaline wears off, reality sinks back in. Sean and her upcoming match enter her mind, and worry starts to fill her again. **
