** I knocked on Chloe O'Brien's door at 10 PM sharp the following night. She was dressed to kill in an all black dress. The bodice made her perfect chest swell, her waist was tiny, hips wide and round. The sleeves trailed along with the train. Her silky brown hair was pulled in a graceful bun, with ribbons holding it into place. Her hazel eyes were glowing with a certain fire, a coy smile on her delicate rose petal face. As I took in her image, I noticed her assessing me with the same sort of hungry gaze. Feelings I hadn't felt towards a woman since my teenage years started to stir within my loins. Ignoring them, I smiled sweetly at Chloe. She stepped aside to allow Heather in, the fire in her eyes suddenly dimming, her sweet child-like look returning. **

Chloe O'Brien
I must say, I was a little surprised when you called me tonight. Especially when you mentioned your little bargain. I gotta ask though, why me?

Heather Halliwell
Why not you? I think it's clear that I can trust you with this secret, seeing as you'd appreciate it more than most. However, I must say that I know you still practice the Black Magick.

Chloe O'Brien
Why do you say that?

Heather Halliwell
What you can do, what you did at the office is no natural given gift. What you did takes many years of hard practice and concentration. And the fact that you recognized the power in me tells me you still practice.

Chloe O'Brien
You caught me, Heather. I have indeed been practicing Magick for a very long time. I think I started when I was 9 or 10. My older sisters were really into it, and they decided that they could either exclude me and risk me outing them to our mother, or include me and teach me all they knew. They were wise women, Heather, very wise.

Heather Halliwell
You say "were" in a past tense form. What happened to them?

Chloe O'Brien
My oldest sister, Casey, got so wrapped up into the dark powers, it destroyed her. She died in a "mysterious" car accident, but we know it was our goddess punishing her for abusing her powers. The twins, Cassidy and Chastisy, fell in love and gave up their powers to start a family. They refuse to let their daughter even hear of Wicca or Magick.

Heather Halliwell
Which makes you the only practicing female left in your family. What made you agree to get into it?

Chloe O'Brien
Actually, I didn't at first. I wasn't going to tell Mom, but what they were doing just didn't interest me. I already had powers of my own, and thought what they were doing was childs play. But they taught me it was more than just silly rhyming and potions and such. I grew to love it, and now it is the only religion I know.

Heather Halliwell
How very fascinating...

Chloe O'Brien
So this Book of Shadows you brought with you... May I see it? I'll show you mine, it's in the living room. When you told me what you wanted to come see me about, I pulled it out.

** Heather nods and hands Chloe her book with great care. Chloe sees how much Heather cares for it, and respects that by handling it with care as well. She leads Heather to her living room, which is swimming in candle light. Chloe sits down on a big love seat, Heather taking the chair across from her. Chloe's face looks absolutely lovely in the candle light as she bends her head to read certain things. Her eyes narrow slightly, her tongue traces her lips, her soft hair touches the pages. Heather looks as if in a trance, following the movement of Chloe's tongue, wishing it was her own going over those beautiful lips. Chloe looks up and grins slyly, as if knowing what Heather was thinking. Realizing that her true feelings were probably showing on her face, Heather snaps out of her daydream and focuses again. **

Chloe O'Brien
You have an incantation to bring back forgotten spirits or ego's? Has it worked?

Heather Halliwell
Once or twice, but I stopped using that. It never worked quite right, even if this spirit or your other persona was friendly, using that spell would make them come back as something dark and unnatural... Something not themselves. Pure evil, basically.

Chloe O'Brien
And if they were already evil to begin with... ?

Heather Halliwell
Lets just say its something we hope we don't have to encounter in our own lives...

** Chloe considers this for a minute, staring thoughtfully at Heather. There is something burning in her eyes that Heather recognizes, but it flickers out quickly. So quickly that Heather thought she had imagined it. Sighing, she leans back as Chloe finishes going through Heathers Book of Shadows. When she is done, she flips back to a certain page and points. **

Chloe O'Brien
A chant to invoke the power of the spirits? Did it work?

Heather Halliwell
At a time. It heightened my telekinisis, I could start any kind of weather storm to suit any purpose or mission I had when obstacles would normally stand in my way. I could also send telepathic messages and read peoples minds.

Chloe O'Brien
Cassidy got those same powers. Hey, what do you say we invoke the powers now? I've been looking to start a new coven, and I need one other woman for starters. We'll find others as we go along.

Heather Halliwell
I don't know... I really shouldn't be getting back into this, it almost destroyed me and my soul last time I did...

Chloe O'Brien
You don't have to agree right away. Just give it some thought. I wonder if there was a way I could.... persuade you.

** Chloe stands up slowly and walks over to the couch where Heather is sitting. She sits close to Heather, reaching up to run a finger down Heather's cheeks. The heat of the moment was either coming from the fire, or the heat radiating off Chloe's spirit. Chloe's hand moves from Heather's face to her hair and gently runs her fingers through it. Her gaze flutters down to Heathers lips, and staying there, she gently pushes Heather's head to hers. Their lips join softly, and Heather savors the softness of Chloe's lips on hers. Chloe deepens the kiss, not having to work very hard to part Heathers lips. Their tongues meet and duel with each other. Heather wraps her arms around Chloes small, slender frame, drawing the petite woman to her more athletic build. Chloe responds by pressing herself against Heather and moving her lips down to Heather's neck and kisses softly around her throat. Heather tips her head back, loving the feel of Chloe's soft lips on her neck. Heather brings her lips back down to Chloe's and the two begin kissing passionately again. Heather reaches a hand under Chloe's shirt, and as she starts to bring it up, her cell phone rings. She tries to ignore it, but the ring tone is "Faint" by Linkin Park, it was Heff calling. And Heff wouldn't STOP calling until the phone was answered. Sighing, Heather pulls away from Chloe and grins apologetically. **

Heather Halliwell
If I don't get that, she won't stop. I'll be back, though.

Chloe O'Brien
I'll be waiting. Go take your call.

** Chloe gives Heather a quick kiss before releasing her. Heather grabs her phone and walks into the next room. In a frustrated whisper, she snaps on Heff.**

Heff Bentley
And what took you so long to pick up the phone, missy?

Heather Halliwell
I was... Somewhat preoccupied.

Heff Bentley
With what? Or even more so, with who? Some hot guy?

Heather Halliwell
Not quite...

Heff Bentley
HLA? Heather Halliwell, are you CHEATING on ME?

Heather Halliwell
I didn't start it, I swear Mistress Heff!

Heff Bentley
You just remind that lass your with just who owns your Tatas!

Heather Halliwell
Yes Mistress Heff. So what did you need? This better be important, because this was just getting really good.

Heff Bentley
You need to get home, NOW!

Heather Halliwell
Dude, we're not REALLY dating... Quit acting like my mother!

Heff Bentley
NO, YOU IDIOT! You have company, you know I don't care if you wanna run around acting like a lesbian!

Heather Halliwell
Company? Who is over there?

Heff Bentley
Someone you'll be surprised to see alive when you get there...

Heather Halliwell
Sean is there?! But I was supposed to meet HIM! What is he doing HERE?

Heff Bentley
He didn't say, because I didn't ask. All I WILL say is that you BETTER get home right NOW, or I'll kill him.

Heather Halliwell
Damnit to friggin christ.... Alright, I'm on my way.

Heff Bentley
Alright, I'll see you when you get there.

Heather Halliwell
Oh and Heff... One thing...

Heff Bentley
Not promising anything, but what?

Heather Halliwell
Don't kill Sean. At least wait until AFTER I know why he's here.

Heff Bentley
Like I said, no promises. I would reccomend you hurry. I'll be watching him like a hawk.

** At this, Heff hangs up the phone. Heather sighs and looks in on Chloe. She is sprawled across the couch, waiting for Heather to return. Heather walks over to her and just stares down at the Irish beauty before her. Chloe looks up and smiles, and realizes somethings wrong. **

Chloe O'Brien
Is everything alright?

Heather Halliwell
I'm not sure. I have to head home, I have an unexpected guest. I don't know why he's here, I was supposed to meet him in a couple days...

Chloe O'Brien
Oh... Like a boyfriend?

Heather Halliwell
Sean? Oh god, no. *Heather laughs* Sean is an ex that I happen to be very close to still. He's like a brother to me. But he never comes here to see me, so I wonder if everything is alright.

Chloe O'Brien
Well, don't let me hold you up. When can we talk privately again?

Heather Halliwell
I'll make time. I promise.

** Heather leans over and kisses Chloe quickly before leaving. As she drives home, her mind is swimming with anxiety, wondering what Sean could possibly need to talk to her so desperately about. **
