~ So my second, and in general, last Assault saw me facing "Destiny". As foretold in my own head, I put aside my irrational fears and faced her. But what I didn't expect was to get into the ring and realize that the woman I had fought WASN'T Destiny, but an intruder. A fake. I should have known. Destiny Graves is dead. Not even someone as twisted as she could suddenly rise from the grave. But as my silly fears of actually facing Destiny were put to rest, a new mystery was to be opened. Who was this intruder, who looked so much look my former friend? Who had sent her? Why was someone so determined to get to Sean, that they would use a decoy to get inside his, and possibly even my, head? So many questions, and who knows how much time to answer. ~
~ But at the moment, I had something else to focus on. Divide and Conquer was less than a week away. And a match that could determine my entire career was being held over my head. A three way elimination match against Katterina Wylde and Wonderboy. Am I concerned? Of course. The winner gets to go to the show they choose... Which would be the perfect opportunity for me to... Well, thats of no concern yet. What I'm mildly concerned about is the part where the first person who gets eliminated faces a possible firing. Then again, I don't intend on losing, so I guess I should put my worries aside. Focusing on a match is key, but when a lingering matter is on your mind, its hard to focus on anything more...~
~ Yes, I am talking about the situation between me and Sean. It seems that since I've come back to XWF, we've been growing more seperated. I take my share of the blame in that. I let the Destiny thing freak me out so bad that instead of sticking by Sean, like I should have, I ran straight to Steve. I had always felt safer in Steve's arms, and it proved no different this time. I couldn't deny it anymore, to anyone, especially myself, that while I loved Sean strongly, I was still deeply in love with Steve Jason. He was the only other guy that impacted me as strongly as Sean had. I never thought that I would ever have to face the battle of who to choose. Though, and I am saying this in no way to justify my actions, Sean has been seeing and talking a lot of Tyger Lilly. He denies, but I know that there are more than just "friendly" feelings there for her. I have so much respect for Lilly, despite all that she has done. As a fellow woman, I can understand that people make mistakes. We all pay for them. Then its time for you, and everyone else to forget them. She got her baby back, she's with a man she loves, and who obviously loves her back. Of course, she said the same thing about Andrew Gibson.... But thats just my jealousy talking there. I just need to clear my head right now. Its time to go home for a visit with my sister and Tegan. ~
~ At the present, I sit with Heff. She is pretending to be watching the television show intently, but I know that she's dying to ask me what happened when I went to see Steve. Once again, she chances a quick glance my way. I know that I probably have a dreamy look on my face. She tries not to say anything, but I can tell that she's about to let her curiousity get the best of her. I turn off the TV and slowly turn my seat to face her. She is already sitting, her legs crossed Indian style, looking at me with slight smile on her pretty face. ~

Heff Bentley
Details! You know I have been waiting for details all week on what happened with Steve. So start talking.

Heather Halliwell
I'm going to be honest with you, Heff. There really isn't that much to tell.

Heff Bentley
Are you kidding me? You two didn't even kiss or hug?

Heather Halliwell
Well, of course we hugged, stupid. We're friends. As for the kissing... Well, there might have been one.

Heff Bentley
Now thats what I want to hear! How was it?

Heather Halliwell
It was just a peck on the lips, really. To thank him for letting me stay. Thats all.

Heff Bentley
That's all? Heather, you know as damn well as I do that a guy and a girl friend don't kiss on the lips. Not even a little dry peck.

Heather Halliwell
Well, where else was I supposed to kiss him? His cheek? Please, that is the definition of tacky right there.

Heff Bentley
Maybe, but at least it wouldn't have people wondering what you meant by that kiss on the lips. Even you yourself have to admit that there was more than just a "friendly" intetion there when you gave it to him.

~ There was nothing I hated more than when Heff had a point. She picked up quickly on my silence and grinned victoriously. I rolled my eyes and looked around for my cell phone. I couldn't look at Heff when she was like this. ~

Heather Halliwell
Have you seen my phone?

Heff Bentley
You left it in the bathroom again. Why, are you gonna call Steeeeeveeeee?

Heather Halliwell
Actually, I thought I would call Holly, and see about going home for a few days. I miss her, and I miss Tegan. And summer is here. I really want to hit the pool.

Heff Bentley
Ah, sweet Southern comfort. At this point, that sounds WONDERFUL! I hate this constant traveling from city to city sometimes.

Heather Halliwell
No one asked you to come with me. You volunteered for this, remember?

Heff Bentley
Of course I did. Without me, who the hell else is gonna keep your country ass out of trouble?

~ I got up as I laughed at Heffs comment, and walked into the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and checked to see if I had any messages. None. My heart sank slightly. I didn't know who I was more disappointed to have not had a message from, Sean or Steve. Sighing to myself, I dialed my sisters number as I walked back out to the living room. ~

Holly Halliwell
Whoever this is, it had better be good, because I have a screaming child on my hands and not a lot of time to talk!

~ I had to bite down on my lip to keep from laughing at her outburst. Tegan must be having a hard time dealing with the summer heat. When I had myself composed enough, I responded. ~

Heather Halliwell
Looks like I called at the perfect time, then. What in the world is going on?

Holly Halliwell
Heather! Tegan... Apparently, she fell off the slide or something, because she won't stop crying and screaming. So I tried to ask her what was wrong, and where her boo-boo was, but she won't stop screaming long enough to tell me. I am about to tear my hair out!

Heather Halliwell
Sounds like a problem. Want me to talk to her? Maybe I can coax a straight answer out of her.

Holly Halliwell
Please do.

~ I heard my sister yell over Tegans wails. She told the little girl that I was on the phone with her Aunt Taz, and that Aunt Taz wanted to talk to her. Tegans cries stopped almost immediatly. The next thing I heard was the tearful voice of my niece on the phone. ~

Heather Halliwell
Hey sweetie. What happened? Did you fall?

Tegan Marquet-Halliwell
Uh huh...

Heather Halliwell
What did you fall off of?

Tegan Marquet-Halliwell
Slide.....

Heather Halliwell
Did you get a boo-boo from it?

Tegan Marquet-Halliwell
Yesh...

Heather Halliwell
Point to where your boo-boo is and give the phone back to Mommy. I love you sweetie.

~ There was a brief pause as Tegan handed the phone back to her mother. I could still hear my little niece sniffling. Holly's relieved voice filled in the silence. ~

Holly Halliwell
She just pointed to her leg, and sure enough, there is a big ole scrape on her knee. You are a lifesaver, Heather. How can I thank you?

Heather Halliwell
Well, I was going to ask this of you anyway, but now you can do it as payback. I was thinking that Heff and me could come home for a few days before my big match at Divide and Conquer. You know, so I can clear my head a little. What do you say?

Holly Halliwell
Are you kidding? Thats not a favor, you know full well I'd have had you either way! This house is as much yours as it is mine. When are you coming?

Heather Halliwell
We're going to catch the first flight out. We are already packed, so all we really have to do is go to the airport for our tickets.

Holly Halliwell
Call me before you land, so I can come get you.

Heather Halliwell
Alright, sis. Thank you so much. See you soon, love ya.

~ As I hung up the phone, I grinned up at Heff. Heff grinned back at me and grabbed her suitcase. I grabbed mine and pushed my sunglasses on. ~

Heather Halliwell
Lets go home, Heff.

~~~ Several Hours Later ~~~
~ As the plane finally touched the ground, I checked my watch. It was only 11:30 in the morning? Amazing, it felt much later than that. Maybe it was because I was so eager to come home, to be where my roots were. Mixed with my desperation to see my sister and niece, it didn't help time go any faster. I looked over at Heff, who was clutching her seat for dear life. She hated flying, and always kept her eyes shut and her hands on her seat rests. Her knuckles were white from how tightly she was holding on. I tapped her, trying to get her to open her eyes. ~
Heather Halliwell
Heff, we are on the ground. You can open your eyes now.
Heff Bentley
No no no! Tell me when they open the doors. I'm ready to run my ass out the door.
~ Before I could say another word, the attendent got onto the speakers and announced that the plane was officially landed and the doors would be opening in five minutes. Heff kept her eyes shut, and as soon as they opened the door, true to her word, she shot out of her seat and raced off the plane. I could only stare after her, laughing. I checked to make sure she had her duffle bag. I didn't see it, so I grabbed mine and exited the plane. I found Heff waiting for me by the gate. We walked into the terminal, and started looking around for my sister. We didn't have to look long, however. I soon heard the voice of my niece crying out over the rumble of noise. ~
Tegan Marquet-Halliwell
AUNT TAS!!!!
~ I turned around and saw my black haired niece running towards me, Holly not far behind. I dropped to my knees and caught the running child as she hurled herself into my arms. As I embraced her, I felt close to tears with emotion. I didn't realize just how much I had missed her. Smoothly, I picked us both off the ground and hitched Tegan around my hip. With my free arm, and pulled my sister into a hug. She looked beautiful. Her hair hadn't lightened yet from the winter, so it was still a golden brown color. Her rose petal complexion was vibrant, as were her turqouise eyes. Her strawberry red lips were smiling happily at me and Heff. She still had her dancers body, though she had kept on a couple extra pounds after she had Tegan. But the extra weight only added to her curves, and made her look, is possible, even more beautiful than she had before Tegan. She was wearing faded Daisy Duke style shorts and a red tank top with black sneakers. Her dancers legs were still in tact and looked stunning and tan. ~
Holly Halliwell
Welcome home, you guys! God, Heather, you actually kept the black hair? I thought you would have at least went brown by now.
Heather Halliwell
I have grown rather fond of the black. You gotta admit, I pull it off. You would too, if you tried it.
Holly Halliwell
I'll leave that to my daughter. Anyway, lets go! The horses and pool await. Snowball misses you, Heather.
~ I smiled happily. Snowball was the name of my kitten. He was pure black, so it was only fitting that I called him something completely opposite of black. I also missed my horse, the chestnut mare named Cinnamon. Heff and I found our suitcases and followed Holly to her beat up punch buggy. I sat in the back with my niece, Heff in the front passenger seat. We all sang the songs on the radio and caught up on what we had missed in each others lives since I'd been gone. Finally, after what seemed like ages, Holly turned into the long driveway leading to the ranch style home we shared. It was in a private area. The white house was one story, but long, with plenty of rooms for guests and parties. The grounds were huge. There was a small horse stable that our father had built for our three horses, and a riding range just beyond it. On the other side was a big pond, and we had inserted a diving board on one side when we deemed it deep enough. Next to the pond was a small forest, and leaves were constantly falling into the pond, giving it an enchanting, almost magical feel. Hollys exotic flowers led the white stone paths all over the place, and there was a patio set up for summer parties and family bbq's. A mini playground was set up for Tegan, and any other small children in our family. This truly was a magical place, and it never failed to take my breath away. At last, I was truly home. ~
Heather Halliwell
I always forget how beautiful it is here. There truly is no place like home.
Heff Bentley
You're telling me. I missed the place so much, I can't wait to jump into the pond!
Holly Halliwell
Who the hell is that?
Heather Halliwell
Who the hell is who?
Holly Halliwell
That guy over there with the mic and camera... He's standing by the truck.
Heff Bentley
Oh my god, Heather! Isn't that Steve Sayors?
~ I squinted at the figure they were pointing to. There was no doubt about it, the figure was indeed XWF's nosiest reporter, Steve Sayors. Groaning in exasperation, I leaned back in my seat. ~
Heather Halliwell
Maaan, and I was doing such a good job avoiding him. How did he find me?
Holly Halliwell
I don't know, why don't you go choke him out until he gives you an honest answer!
Heather Halliwell
No... I've got a better idea.
~ Holly pulled into the garage, and no sooner had I gotten out of the car than did Steve swoop upon me. ~
Steve Sayors
This is XWF live, and I am Steve Sayors reporting right from Heather Halliwells Southern ranch home. Heather herself has just arrived, as expected. Heather, may I have an interview?
Heather Halliwell
Well, since you asked nicely... But do me a favor and wait a minute while I take my bags in and change into my bikini. We'll do the interview by the pond so I can go swimming.
~ I pushed past Steve before he had a chance to answer. Heff and Holly followed me closely, biting back their giggles. I went straight to my big, cozy room. It was a faint purple color, with a black canopy bed and lace hangings. The cherry wood dresser stood to one side, and a brass vanity table sat next to the closet. I went over to the dresser and started shuffling through my bathing suits. I finally found an emerald green tie-up bikini. I changed into it, and put my hair into loose pigtailed braids. I grabbed my big beach towel and slipped on my flip flops. Holly and Tegan were already waiting, Tegan wearing an adorable pink swimsuit, my sister looking stunning in a white bikini. Heff came out of her room a few seconds later wearing a leapord print bikini. We nodded to each other, and took the back door out to the pond, avoiding Steve Sayors. I eagerly got on the diving board and flipped into the water. When I surfaced, Sayors was on the edge of the deep end of the pond, waiting for me. ~
Steve Sayors
I must have missed you coming out, I apologize. So, how about that interview?
Heather Halliwell
Shoot, Steve. Ask me what you want, but I can't promise answers to everything.
Steve Sayors
How do you feel about your upcoming match at Divide and Conquer, first off?
Heather Halliwell
How do I feel? Obviously, I'm slightly worried. I obviously don't want to lose, as my record so far isn't too shabby. But that stipulation only increases my urge to win. I'm not worried about what show I get on. I know where I'd LIKE to go, so the ability to choose will make things easier.
Steve Sayors
What show would you like to be on, should you get to choose?
Heather Halliwell
You'll see. Patience is a virtue, so all you have to do is wait a little longer, just like I do. All will reveal itself in time.
Steve Sayors
Not even a hint?
Heather Halliwell
All I will say is that I do believe my destiny is already on the show I will be choosing, should I win this match.
Steve Sayors
Are you concerned about your opponents? The stipulation concerning the first person eliminated has got to be the main thing on everyone's minds. That will undoubtedly be affecting the way their strategy that night. The risk of being fired is looking very grim.
Heather Halliwell
My last two matches were cake walks. Mere warm ups for what lies ahead. Finally, I have a match that actually means something. As to my opponents... I have never heard of Wonderboy. I don't let myself fret too much over the unknown, for I always discover the light in due time. As for Katterina Wylde, I have heard nothing but positive things about her. I have heard that she is a terrific wrestler, which I admire. A strong woman is always worth the effort in a match. I wish her the best of luck in our match. I don't feel the need for any trash talk, as is would be targeted to two people I don't even know. Talk is cheap, action is my way. So Wonderboy, Katterina... All I have to say to you is bring it. I'll put my all into this match if you return the favor. Lets make this something worth remembering, and prove that none of us deserve to be fired. I have no intentions of losing, but should I not win, thats fine. I'm not worried about getting fired. I have enough confidence in my abilities to guide me to, not only the show I want to be on, but to the absolute top of the XWF.
Steve Sayors
It seems that you have nothing but respect for your opponents, then.
Heather Halliwell
I have no reason not to respect them. They haven't done anything to try and discredit me. I certainly won't do that to them, I believe very much in good sportsmanship. It's how I was raised, and its how I live. So I say good luck and good fight to Katterina and Wonderboy come Thursday.
Steve Sayors
Your... Should I say, good friend, Sean Graves, is in the same type of match that you are. What do you think his chances are?
Heather Halliwell
I have known Sean for a very long time. I've never known him to put less than 100% into a match. He is without a doubt one of the best and I have no doubt in my mind that he will dominate in the very way he knows how. I just hope that he has enough sense to put his personal issues in the back of his mind during his match.
Steve Sayors
To be fair, a lot of the personal issues that have been bothering Sean lately are closely linked to you. Rumors that you and Steve Jason are getting closer and on the verge of rekindling your relationship are going around like wildfire. Would you like to deny these rumors or make a statement?
Heather Halliwell
What happens between me and Sean, and me and Steve is nobodies business. I admit, Steve and I have been spending a lot of time together, more than I probably should, since I came back to XWF to help Sean. But Steve and I were always very close, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let some rumors that fans start up ruin the bond that me and Steve have.
Steve Sayors
But what about you and Sean? You two were practically attached at the hip, but after the Tyger Lilly drama with her daughter being kidnapped, it seemed that you two couldn't even stand to be in the same room together. What is going on there?
Heather Halliwell
Again, thats none of yours, or anybody elses business. I admit, I was a little uneasy about Sean helping Lilly at first, considering he had enough on his plate. But everything has worked itself out, and there was no harm done. Now if you don't mind, I'm tired of playing 20 questions about my personal life. If you don't have anything else you want to ask me, then please remove yourself from my home.
Holly Halliwell
Wait! Me and Heff have something that we wanna add!
~ Holly and Heff came running into the cameras view. I raised my eyebrow behind their heads and pulled myself out of the water. Water dripped down my well-toned body, making it glisten in the hot afternoon sun. Sayors ogled with wide eyes for a moment before shaking himself back to reality. Heff and Holly grinned at each other. ~
Heff Bentley
Since everyone is going to see this, we want to make two things clear. First, Sean, we don't trust you with our girl, one bit. You have been spending a lot of time talking and hanging with Lilly, and we know your past. We know you have a wandering eye, even though at one point, it did wander over to Heather here. But we refuse to allow you to jerk her chain again. We don't trust you, nor do we like you, and if we find out that you are planning anything to ruin Heather's career or her life, Holly and I are going to come find you, rip your balls off, and shove them down you throat. Are we clear? Good, now Holly has something to say.
Holly Halliwell
I totally agree with everything Heff just said. SJ, if you are watching, PLEASE sweep my sister off her pretty Southern feet! Heather is still in love you, even if she's not willing to admit it out loud. You were always mine and Heff's favorite when it came to her boyfriends. You were everything her exes weren't, and we always felt that you and Heather belonged together. We still believe that, and we WANT to see you two together. I have a bad feeling about Sean, I don't know what it is, but something about him always has and still does trouble me. My dreams have been disturbing me lately... I've been seeing Sean's dark side come out, and it didn't look very good. I truly believe that you and Heather could be in real danger really soon. Please protect her in any way you can. Oh, and Dougy, you're still hot. My number is the same if you ever want to call me.
~ Giggling, my sister and best friend ran out of the camera view and back into the water. Sayors looked completely dazed over what Holly and Heff had just said to the camera. I myself was horrified, knowing that this was live. They wouldn't have a chance to edit this, and it would be replayed until D&C. I looked at Sayors, who was looking at me, and for once, we were both at a loss for words. Sayors finally cleared his throat and jumped at the opportunity. ~
Steve Sayors
Quite opinionated, those two. They said quite a bit. I should thank them for answering the questions you wouldn't. The look on your face, and the silence you maintained tells me that you were thinking exactly what they said.
~ I glared at Sayors. But the fact of the matter was, the guy had a point. I couldn't deny anything Heff and Holly had just said, because it was true. But what Holly had said shook me. I had also been having dreams about Sean... But he wasn't Sean. In my dreams, he allowed the Dark Prince, his Genocide half of himself, take over completely. Whenever I dreamed that, I saw him hurting and killing the ones that I loved the most. Those dreams scared me to the point where I no longer felt safe around him. But I figured that they were merely had out of the fact that him and I had been so distant to each other lately. I looked at Sayors and nodded. ~
Heather Halliwell
It's time for you to go, or I'm pushing you into the lake. You have to the count of three.
Steve Sayors
So I can't get any closing comments at all?
Heather Halliwell
One...
Steve Sayors
I guess not. Let me just finish up here then.
Heather Halliwell
Two...
Steve Sayors
I'm Steve Sayors, and this has been a live interview...
Heather Halliwell
Three!
~ I didn't let Sayors finish his closing. With the camera's rolling, I grabbed the mic out of his hand and tossed it towards the camera man. Sayors resisted as I thought he would. What he didn't see was Heff and Holly slowly, quietly swimming up behind him. He was right at the surface and was begging for me to stop. ~
Steve Sayors
I'm sorry! I'm going now, but please! This is one of my favorite shirts, and if it gets wet with pond water, it'll be ruined.
Heather Halliwell
Don't be ridiculous! This is fresh water, it won't harm it. Enjoy your swim. Do it now, girls!
~ Before Sayors had a chance to move, Heff and Holly each grabbed him by his ankles. With two strong girls giving him a powerful tug, he fell backwards into the pond. I jumped in after, laughing hysterically. He surfaced a moment later, spitting water out of his mouth and sputtering. He climbed out of the pond and stomped away, though he didn't seem mad. We laughed over it for a few more minutes before Holly looked seriously at me.
Holly Halliwell
You know, you didn't deny what we said about Sean and Steve when you had the chance to do it on camera. You even got a little mad when Sayors pointed that out. It seems, my dear, that we've touched a nerve.
Heather Halliwell
I want desperately to get back what I had with Sean. But when I have the likes of Lilly to compete with, I don't stand a chance. I'm nowhere near as beautiful as she is. And lets face it, Sean's life and Lilly's lives have more in common than mine and Sean's. But I am going to try to reconcile with Sean. I'm inviting him here before Lilly's party.
Heff Bentley
YOU'RE WHAT?!
Holly Halliwell
Are you crazy?! Thats asking for trouble right there. You can't have Sean here!
Heff Bentley
Please, invite Lilly, invite Raziel, invite freakin' Mike Raboin, please, anyone but Sean!
Heather Halliwell
I'm sorry you guys, this is just something I feel I have to do.
~ Ignoring their continued protests, I pulled myself out of the water once again and wrapped my big towel around myself. Knowing that I wasn't going to listen, Holly and Heff swam over to where Tegan was playing on the shallow side of the pond. I went inside and got my phone and dialed Sean's number. It rang several times, and right as I was going to hang up, he answered. ~
Sean Graves
Heather?
Heather Halliwell
Yeah, its me... Sean, you sound horrible, whats wrong?
Sean Graves
I've got a little bit of a hangover...
Heather Halliwell
That's what you get for drinking so much. But I didn't call to lecture you. What are you doing this week up until Lilly's party?
Sean Graves
Why?
Heather Halliwell
I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come down to my place for a couple days. That way, we can talk about... Everything thats been happening recently, get it behind us, and we can go to Lilly's party together.
Sean Graves
I don't know...
Heather Halliwell
Please, Sean? I just think it's what we need right now, and you have no real reason to say no... Do you?
Sean Graves
Well, I do sort of have other plans leading up to Lilly's party.
Heather Halliwell
What sort of plans? Anything I can help you with?
Sean Graves
No... No, nothing you can help me with. In fact, it would be best if you stayed away.
Heather Halliwell
Are you sure? Sean, I just want to help you. We're in this mess together, you know that.
Sean Graves
It's fine, Heather. This is something that I don't need your help with, thats all. Don't worry about it. Listen, I got to go. You called at a bad time, I'll call you back, okay?
~ I barely had time to say goodbye when I heard his end of the phone click. I hung up the phone, feeling hot tears of anger and upset form behind my eyes. I blinked furiously to keep them from falling. Something about his tone had my suspicious.... Maybe it was jealousy that was making me think this, or maybe it was womanly instinct. But a voice in my head was telling me that this something that he didn't need help with had something to do with Lilly. I looked around the room and my eyes landed on a picture that Holly had on the mantle. It was of her, Dougy, me, and Steve. I stood up and walked over to it. I couldn't help but smile. That was in a happier time, a happier place. My heart swelled, and I wanted nothing more now, than to see Steve. To be in his arms where comfort and love was always there. He never pushed me away like Sean did. I walked back over to the phone, sat down, and dialed his number. I expected to hear the machine, as usual, but a moment later, Steve's deep, strong voice filled the other side of the phone. ~
Steve Jason
Steve Jason here.
Heather Halliwell
Wow! Steve, you actually answered the phone for once, I'm amazed.
Steve Jason
I know that accent. How are you, Heather?
Heather Halliwell
Oh, I've been better. I just tried talking to Sean, but he gave me the cold shoulder... And it hurt. But I'm getting used to that.
Steve Jason
You shouldn't have to. Are you going to Lilly's party?
Heather Halliwell
Yes I am. Actually, that was partly what I called to ask you about.
Steve Jason
Whats up?
Heather Halliwell
I'm back home in the South for a few days. I was actually wondering if you, Dougy, Jem, and Eve would want to come down and stay for a couple of days, at least until Lilly's party. We could all catch a plane to that together.
Steve Jason
You want all of us to come down to your ranch house? Why?
Heather Halliwell
I want to see you. And I figured that Jem, Eve, and Dougy could use a vacation, too. The place is big enough to fit all, and we could make a little party out of it before the big party at Lilly's. And... You could also consider it as another way of my thanks for letting me stay with you when I needed it.
Steve Jason
I told you not to worry about it. I'll talk to Jem and Eve about it. I'm game, and I know Dougy will be as well when I mention it to him.
Heather Halliwell
Well, keep in mind that even if Jem and Eve don't want to come, I'd still love it if you and Dougy came.
Steve Jason
Then here's hoping I see you. If we do come, when would you want us here?
Heather Halliwell
You could come as early as tonight, if you want. I just really need you here right now.
Steve Jason
I'll talk to them and call you back. Anything else?
~ Yeah, there was. I just want you to know that I love you so very much. Of course, I couldn't tell him this over the phone. I couldn't tell him this at all. I licked my lips and forced myself to speak. ~
Heather Halliwell
Just that... I lo... I really can't wait to see you again. I hope you can make it.
Steve Jason
Well, I'll let you go now so I can get a hold of Jem and Eve. I'll call you back in an hour and let you know, okay?
Heather Halliwell
Sounds great, I'll talk to you then.
~ I hung up with Steve and slapped myself in the back of the head. Damnit, I had almost let those words escape my lips, despite the fact that I was trying hard not to. What was wrong with me? Sighing, I stood up and headed back out to the pond area to wait for the phone call and to tell Holly and Heff about the possible new plans. ~
