:: Flight to Texas, 11 am Monday ::

** Heather squirmed in the uncomfortable plane seat for what seemed to be the millionth time. Although the woman next to her said nothing, Heather knew she was annoyed at Heather's constant fidgeting. Heff was behind her, bobbing her head to music only she could hear inside her head. She still had a huge grin on her face, no doubt from last nights events, the Rascal Flatts concert. Heather, as much fun as she had had, couldn't keep her mind off of Sean. She knew that Heff was probably right in telling her that Sean wouldn't be able to pronounce the incantation right. But it still concerned her that Sean had stolen a page out of a book he knew she held sacred. **

** When it wasn't Sean filling her thoughts, Chloe's face was etched in her mind. She touched her lips, remembering the full softness of Chloe's on hers. She still hadn't told anyone about that night, and what had happened. Glancing back at Heff, she knew she'd have to tell her best friend soon. Heff would understand more than anyone. She would know that she wasn't a lesbian, but her attraction for girls was making a come back. Heather didn't understand what it was about Chloe that made feelings she hadn't had towards girls since she was a teenager make such a sudden return. Not that she was complaining. **

** Heather saw Heff typing out something on her phone now. Heather grinned, knowing that they were about to have a text conversation. They did this constantly when they were seperated, so they could keep their conversations private. The text came, and Heather read it. What she saw made her laugh out loud. **

Heff's Text
I STILL WANNA SCRUMP GARY!

** Heather shook her head and responded, trying not to let the woman next to her see it.**

Heather's Text
I KNOW YOU DO. I WANNA HUG JOE DON AGAIN.

** She heard the familar beat of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" start as Heff recieved her text. She heard Heff laugh as she read it, and waited for her response. It didn't take long. **

Heff's Text
YEAH RIGHT, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO DO MORE THAN THAT.

** Heather started laughing again. The woman next to her glanced over, a slightly annoyed look on her face. Heather bit down on her lip and responded as quietly as possible. **

Heather's Text
I WOULD BE LYING IF I SAID I DIDN'T. OKAY, NAP TIME.

** When Heather heard Heff's cell phone go off, she looked behind her. Heff read it, then looked up and nodded. Heather smiled and leaned back in her seat. Resting her head against the window, Heather closed her eyes. It wasn't long before her breathing became slow and steady, in a sleep...**

*******************

** Heather looks on either side of herself. Heff is on her left, wearing torn camo pants and a black tank top. Her long auburn hair is in messy pigtails, and in bad need of a comb. On her right is Holly, wearing baggy, but well fitting black pants, just as torn and dirty, but her top is modestly covered in a torn up baby t-shirt. Her blonde hair is in a messy bun, dirt and leaves hanging in it. Heather herself has torn her own tight blue jeans into tiny Daisy Duke type shorts, and is wearing a belly bearing, spaghetti strap tank top. Her black hair is also a limp and dirty, pulled back loosely, hidden under a cap. They are tracking a dense jungle, leaving behind the fire they had made, hoping to send smoke signals. The night before, their plane had crashed, and they were the only survivors left. One of the men was badly injured, and as hard they tried, he didn't make it. So now the girls try to search for a clearing to send better signals to passing planes, trying to avoid the wildlife as much as they can. **

Holly Halliwell
How in the hell did we let you talk us into this? I should have known something like this would happen, look what happened to Aaliyah!

Heff Bentley
I'm so hungry. We need to go hunting or something, or we'll never survive out here.

Holly Halliwell
What kind of a jungle has trails? Is this a jungle for hunters? If so, maybe we can find some poachers and bum a ride back to civilization with them!

Heff Bentley
It's so damn hot out here. It could at least be raining, but no, we can't even have that. How do we get so unlucky?

Holly Halliwell
Because that little black raincloud just seems to follow us around. I blame Heather.

Heather Halliwell
For fucks sake! Will you two stop bitching for TWO FUCKING SECONDS and help me think? You need to keep your wits about you, or NONE of us are going to survive. We are dependent on each other until we make it back home, and if you two just sit here and bitch, we might not do that!

Holly Halliwell
How the hell did we let you talk us into this? You know me and Heff both hate to fly, and now our fears are justified! We are lost, stranded, and helpless in a Brazilian jungle! For all we know, we could be getting stalked right now by lions, or tigers, or bears!

Heather Halliwell
Oh my!

Holly Halliwell
Not funny, Heather. We could be on the main menu to some cannibalistic tribe right now, and not even know it until we're hanging over their cooking fire!

Heff Bentley
Okay, stop! We get the point, but Heather is right. Standing around and bitching about it isn't going to make our situation better. I guess it's time for any survival skills we might have to come into use.

Heather Halliwell
Thank you Heff. Now, maybe if we follow one of these trails, we can make it to some sort of camp where the natives can help us. Really Holly, they can't be that bad.

Holly Halliwell
Fine, which trail do we take then? Get us out of this, miss fix it.

** Heather held her tongue. She observed the three trails, trying to determine which might be wisest. The trail leading east seemed to lead into a darker, denser area of forest. A thick fog clung to the air there, and Heather could feel its chill from where she was standing. The trail that led west led into a thicker area of trees and plants. And the plants themselves looked like the type that were perfectly capable of defending themselves against anything that seemed dangerous. The trail straight ahead, leading north, looked to lead into what could be a potential clearing. Nodding, Heather pointed to the northern trail. **

Heather Halliwell
That trail looks like our best bet. Lets go.

** Heather barely takes her first step towards the trail when a rustle in the trees stops her dead in her tracks. Holly and Heff seemed to have heard it too, for they hurry over to Heather and huddle close to her. Heather looks around, for there is no sign of wind, or even a slight breeze, to cause the trees to move in any sort of way. Heather pulls her dagger out of her combat boot and keeps it in a defensive reach. She knew that if they were facing something a lot bigger or if they were outnumbered, her dagger would be useless. But at least she could give them some sort of a chance to run by the distraction. Heather looked above her, and the tree rustled again. Heather walks forward to the tree cautiously, scaling it with her eyes. It would be a hard climb, but Heather was prepared to make it. Placing her dagger carefully in her mouth, holding it tightly between her teeth, she reaches above her and grabs the first sturdy looking branch. Before she can propel her body upward, strong arms wrap themselves around her waist and pull her back down. Started, she opens her mouth to cry out, and her dagger falls to the ground next to her. Struggling, she looks over at her sisters. Holly and Heff are being held by a huge, very tanned man, with the largest muscles she's ever seen, black hair, brown eyes, and a look to kill. Both girls are struggling, though Heff is gazing up at the man in awe. He is wearing plants that blend in well with the surrounding and no shirt. Heather stops struggling for a moment, catching her breath. Her captor speaks into her ear. **

Man
Calm down, we're not here to harm you. We're here to help you, really.

** Heather's breath catches in her throat. Despite her bad feelings about the current situation, she found the man's voice very soothing. Nodding curtly, she mutely agreed to stop struggling and to pay attention. The man, taking her word for it, let her go. Heather knew that he must have some sort of weapon or could overpower her easily if he was willing to let her go. As soon as he did, Heather spun around to glare at him. The man that stood before her looked nothing like his companion. This man was tanned, with light brown hair, brown eyes, and a softer look. Despite the heat, he dressed all in black, his clothing complimenting his well-toned, athletic body. In spite of herself, Heather couldn't help but admire the man before her. **

Heather Halliwell
Tell that man-beast over there to let my friends go. They aren't going to do anything.

Man
Go ahead, GRENDEL. Release her friends.

** The mammoth sized man named GRENDEL let go of Holly and Heff. They shuffled quickly over to Heather and grabbed her by each arm. GRENDEL came up behind the much smaller man and crossed him arms. He reminded Heather of a club bouncer. An ominous feeling swept over her, but she held her ground. **

Heather Halliwell
Who are you?

Man
My name is Sean Graves, and this man here is my friend GRENDEL. We live in this jungle, trying to keep it free of poachers. So the real question here is, who are you?

Heather Halliwell
My name is Heather, the blonde is my sister Holly, and the other one is our best friend Heff.

Sean Graves
Right. Why are you here?

Heather Halliwell
Our plane crashed last night, and we're the only ones who lived. We have nothing, and we pose no harm. We were on our way to a safari trip when it happened.

Sean Graves
You were in the plane wreck? We had heard that there were no survivors.

Holly Halliwell
Then you were so very obviously misinformed. Can you help us?

Sean Graves
I might be able to. Why don't you follow me? I can take you to where we live at, we have food, shelter, and you can clean yourselves up a bit.

Heff Bentley
Oh, thank god... Thank you so much, we really...

Heather Halliwell
Wait, Heff. We appreciate the offer, Sean, but can you give us a moment to talk this over?

Sean Graves
Of course, take all the time you need. GRENDEL and I will wait right over there.

** The two men head over to a tree and seems to be talking deeply about something. Heather casts them a wary glance before turning to her sisters. She shakes her head as she speaks, her accent thick with worry. **

Heather Halliwell
I get a bad feeling off of this. I don't think we should go with them.

Holly Halliwell
I know what you mean, but what other choice do we have? We don't really have one at all, at least we stay with them for a few hours until someone can come and get us.

Heff Bentley
I agree, Heather... It's our only choice.

** Heather agree reluctantly. They go back and tell the guys what their plan is. Sean smiles widely and offers his arm to Heather. Heather hesitates, but finally takes it and allows him to lead her onto the eastern trail, into the dark area of trees. As they walk, Sean tells her that it's a good thing she didn't take the other two trails, that they would have led them into dead ends. Finally, Heather spots the rather large tree hut that Sean and GRENDEL must inhabit. Sean leads them inside, and Heather is shocked to see two women sitting in there with them. Both are extremely goth, one with black hair, the other with platinum blonde. Both were wearing tight, floor length black dressed, and pentagram neckalaces. Sean introduced them as Hectate and Lilly. Hectate looks at Heather with a little too much interest. **

Hectate
She is the one we've been waiting for Sean. The one with the ability to gain us the power we've been needing.

Sean Graves
I felt it too, Hectate. That's why I have brought her here.

Lilly
But she is of a good soul, her purity of the magick isn't corrupted as ours supposedly is. She might not agree.

Heather Halliwell
Hold up, what are you people talking about?

Sean Graves
If she cannot be swayed into joining us in our plans, then we'll have to persuade her by force. I'm sure there are ways to convince her to help us gain control of all that belongs to us.

Heather Halliwell
What the hell are you talking about?!

Sean Graves
Heather... You have a power we've been searching for, a power we've been needing for many years. Lilly, Hectate, and I have a coven, but we've needed a fourth.

Heather Halliwell
A fourth for what?

Hectate
A fourth to call upon the four powers of nature. Once we have the powers of the spirits that control us in all that we do as mere mortal humans, we will have the power to not only control human kind for their benefit, but to live forever as walking gods and goddesses. But we'll need your help for it.

Heather Halliwell
Control human kind by use of magick? That's sick! That's like the dictatorship of humankind, forced and unwillingly by the majority. It could never last.

Lilly
That's just it, Heather, it could. You have a power the rest of us don't. You have the power of light, stronger than any magick the rest of us could hope to have. But if you join us, we could have it. You'd control it over all of us. As for the people, under our influence, with the help of the powers, they won't be able to resist. They'd be forced to comply, and this world will change. For the better. And those who do find the power to defy us will be punished through death.

Heather Halliwell
I won't do this. It's sick, barbaric! Control the world, and if people don't like it, then just dispose of them as if they were wild animals? I'll have nothing to do with it, you'll have to find yourself a different fourth.

Hectate
Don't make a mistake, Heather. You could have everything you've ever hoped for, dreamed for. Anything you've ever wished for in your life will be right at your feet, easy to reach. You wouldn't have to do a thing. Help us, and the world is yours.

Heather Halliwell
Sorry, the world is too much to handle. I'll let other power-hungry maniacs take a stab at controlling it. But thanks anyway. So if you don't mind, I'll be on my way.

** Heather turns to leave, but Sean blocks her path. The grin that was on his face for so long is gone, replaced by an absolutely dangerous glare. Heather tries not to flinch, and holds her ground. GRENDEL comes out of nowhere and grabs Heff and Holly once again, much more roughly this time than he had back in the forest. Sean advances on Heather, who can't help but step back. **

Sean Graves
You're making a mistake, Heather. I had just enough power to brainwash Lilly and Hectate into following my lead, doing my bidding, being my slaves for eternity. Nothing will ever bring them back to what they once were. I can see clearly that you're too powerful for even me to control. But Heather, combine our powers, and think of all that we could do. We could dispose of anything that plagues this planet with inperfection and clean it up. Turn it back into the paradise God had in mind when he put Adam and Eve here.

Heather Halliwell
You just want domination over human beings. You don't give a shit about human kind, you just want the earth to be what you envisioned it to be. You just want the power to control humans, turn them all into mindless servents to control with the wave of your hand. I absolutely refuse to help you achieve that kind of power. No one deserves that much, least of all you.

Sean Graves
I can appreciate your morality. Unfortunately, I've never handled rejection very well. I don't accept it. I'm afraid that your standards will meet my price. Go ahead, GRENDEL.

** Heather spins around in time to see GRENDEL take Holly and Heff by the throats and squeeze. Heather cries out and tries to rush over to her friends, but Sean reaches out his arms and holds her back. Heather struggles for dear life, but Sean has her locked in a very tight grip. Screaming out, still struggling, Heather tries to reach her friends. GRENDEL is choking the life out of them both, shaking them like rag dolls. Their faces are turning red fast, their eyes rolling up into the back of their head, making small sputters of protest as the try to gasp for air. Heather continues screaming, as Hectate and Lilly just continue to sit, staring at the scene unfold as if nothing was wrong. **

Heather Halliwell
Sean, he's killing them! Make him stop, please, I will do anything, just please don't kill my sisters!

Sean Graves
Agree to combine your powers with mine to get what I want, and your sisters will live.

** Heather holds her breath, debating her options. She looks at Sean, who has a triumphant smirk on his face. She looks back over at Heff and Holly, who seem to be at their last moments. Hanging her head to fight back the doom and defeat, she nods. **

Heather Halliwell
Fine... I'll help you, just please. Don't kill the only two people I have left on this planet. Let them go, and I'll do whatever it is you need me to do to achieve your sick, sadistic goals.

Sean Graves
I knew you'd see reason. I had a feelings you'd warm up to me and see things from my point of view eventually. GRENDEL, go ahead and release them.

** GRENDEL drops Holly and Heff, who fall right to the floor, unconcious. Sean releases Heather, who rushes to her sisters' sides. Both seem to be struggling to regain their breath. It's obvious from the colors on their faces that they were within the last few inches of their lives. Heather chokes back a sob as she holds them both as close as she can. Sean bears down upon them, still smiling victoriously. Heather, with tears streaming down her face, glares up at him, knowing her fate and destiny were now in hs hands. Sean knew it too, for he yanked Heather away from her sisters, and started leading her back into a dark, private room. **

Sean Graves
We have many things to discuss, my sweet. But first, I want to get to know my partner just a little bit better...

************************

** Heather wakes with a start in her plane seat. Heff is now sitting next to her, tapping her arm and looking extremely worried. Heather looks around, and notices that the plane is empty except for the two of them. Sighing, she leans back in her seat and tries to shake her head of the dream she just had. Her heart is still pounding, her whole body shaking in fear. Heff notices this, and looks at her with even more worry. **

Heff Bentley
Heather... Is everything alright?

Heather Halliwell
Heff... This dream I just have. I'll tell you about it later, but we need to stay on our toes. If it's the omen I think it is, Sean, and everyone else very close to him might be in danger...
