AL SNOW W/HEAD

AL SNOW W/HEAD "BANNED" ACTION FIGURE - BRAND NEW... NEVER OPENED. WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT? THE CONTROVERSIAL JAKKS PACIFIC, 6 INCH FIGURE OF THE J.O.B. SQUAD'S AL SNOW FROM THE ROAD RAGE SERIES. THIS IS THE FIGURE WITH THE MANNEQUIN HEAD THAT WOMEN'S ADVOCACY GROUPS PROTESTED & WAS BANNED FROM WAL-MART & MANY OF THE OTHER LEADING TOY STORES. THIS FIGURE ALSO COMES WITH CARRY-ON LUGGAGE & A LITTLE HEAD THAT HAS ROOTED BLONDE HAIR!!! OFFICIALLY LICENSED WWF PRODUCT MOUNTED ON A FACTORY SEALED CARD. WHAT WWF.COM HAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS CONTROVERSY:The so-called controversy of Al Snow and the head of a mannequin, affectionately referred to as "head" is about as "lame-headed" as the media gets. The wonderful character that Al Snow plays for WWF is a psychologically challenged man in need of a friend who finds that kinship in an inanimate object. This hopelessly confused character who drifts in and out of reality is undoubtedly a fan favorite… and one of the many zany characters appearing weekly on our highly successful and light-hearted entertainment programming. The original misunderstanding, from two guest columnists at The Atlanta Journal and Constitution is a right wing reaction when they called Al Snow's character a "celebration of dismemberment". To show you how "out there" these two writers are, they conclude the Al Snow action figure package contains a "female victim who did not survive her encounter with the muscled figures who surround her". They then jump onto "sadism", "domestic violence", "male aggression", and "spousal abuse". We think these writers read a lot into a mannequin head. If these two had watched the show, they would have found that the Al Snow character holds his "mannequin head friend" in "high esteem" and even loves her. This misunderstanding is the result of jumping to conclusions inaccurately, and is easily remedied by tuning in. However, the guest columnists then took their misinformed case to Wal-Mart which has decided to remove the action figure from shelves. What is discouraging about the article is that the full character of Al Snow was relayed by Jim Byrne, the WWF's Senior V.P. of Marketing, to a laughing Dan Hulbert who wrote the article in the Atlanta Constitution. Hulbert understood the humor and lunacy of the character (even apologized for laughing because he said he found it humorous… Duh!) but chose not to include that explanation as part of his article

Blue Blazer

Without a doubt, the hottest figure of the year is the Blue Blazer from Wal-Mart's DTA Tour Series 2. When the assortment hit Wal-Mart stores in May, Blazer was the first to come off the pegs. Then, on May 23, tragedy struck and we lost Owen Hart in an unfortunate accident. His Blue Blazer figure was hot before his untimely passing and its popularity skyrocketed afterward. Making the figure even more scarce was that ALL DTA 2 figures disappeared from stores soon after the Over the Edge PPV, leading to internet rumors that Jakks recalled the assortment due to Hart's fatal accident. While this rumor has never been confirmed, it is undeniable that DTA 2, and especially the Blue Blazer, became almost impossible to locate
