¤Raven's image appears on the TITANtron. It's too dark to see where he is until the camera pans out and reveals that he's sitting under a payphone by a brick wall on some city-street. He chucks little rocks at the wall across from him. Suddenly he speaks¤
Raven: Snake… you still aren’t letting anybody in, are you? I don’t blame you, who’ve you been able to count on so far? Nobody but bricks in the Wall that you’re surrounding yourself with.
You wanted to know why I’m all of a sudden trying to help you, well here’s your answer. From the moment I saw you, something told me this would happen, but I just pushed that inkling here, in the back of my mind. That is, until you said that you wouldn’t need a partner against JC and Raphael. I knew then, that you were close to finishing your Wall, and I’ve been doing all I can to keep it from completely closing you off from humanity. So I had to intervene. Relying on you and you alone all the time can cost you everything.
You see I too had a Wall. Way back when in barbed-wire city. Everything that ever happened in my life was just bricks in that Wall. And before I knew it, before I could realize that being blocked off from the world is not as proficient as I thought it would be, I was exiled. And it was in that instant that my Wall was suddenly torn down. No longer could I sit numbly behind my Wall, and for 2 long years I was dead inside. The sudden lack of shelter from humanity was frightening.
That’s what I’m trying to prevent in you. Don’t help them to bury the light. Don’t let JC, Buster, or even Super K become the final bricks in your own Wall. Don’t let me become another brick in your Wall. The Wall isn’t done yet; it’s not too late, Snake. But you’d better let what I’m saying get through to you before it is.
