[Opponent: None] Now two-and-oh, I have earned my first streak and undefeated streak in The "X". I faced another well known wrestler, Arch Angel and came out victorious by quickly placing him to the mat with The Answer. Though his heart was certainly put into the match, ability proved itself and led me to get the three count.
Now? I'm just taking my few weeks' rest from wrestling and working out. I've gained a few pounds, but nothing really to make that much of a difference. I'm ready to hop back into that ring and step up to whatever challenge is placed at me next. Though I hope for a much stronger opponent, I shouldn't keep my hopes too high. You might be wondering, why a stronger opponent? Actually, it's quite simple. The bigger the challenge, the more it's going to push you in order to be on top, the more you'll strive to prove you're the best.
Well, so far in the card, I have yet to have an opponent, but I'm sure the XPWA will easily arrange something by the end of this week. I've already sent in an e-mail, trying to get a hook up at the one year anniversary. Perhaps I'll get lucky, after all the spirit of the holdiay is still flowing amungst. Who knows, maybe I'll just have to arrange myself an interview or promo. Really, anything will do.
For right now though, I have time to focus on myself. I'm going to a New Years party one of my friends is holding. There will be plenty of booze and hot young drunk chicks, so I'm sure my time will be occupied quickly to say the least. It's not a BYOB, so I'm glad, even though I have the money to afford it. Hopefully this party will be able to steer me away from the paparazzi, even though they're probably outside, spying in on my house at this very moment.
But I have to head out to this party before I miss New Years. I haven't missed a single one and I don't plan on starting now. However, this whole thing I'm going to be dumbfounded. I know about two or three people that are going to this party, but I'm sure I can make the best of it...
I quickly threw my coat over and shoulders and immediately felt a warm sensation. Tucking my hands in my pockets, I reassured that the keys were still there and nothing had fallen out. A slight yawn bursted out at me as I fixed my hair, my jaw dropped down before I quickly headed for the front door, clipped my hand around the handle and twisted. Exposing myself to an empty hallway, I walked out of the room, innocent.
At around 11:20 or so, I entered the party's front doors to have a good friend of mine, a cup of beer in his right hand quickly shoot up to me.
l| Ryan |l Dude, you're late! Party started a while ago man!
l| Patrick |l I know, traffic was busy.
Dude, it's like 11:30, how the hell is traffic busy?!
l| Patrick |l Then obviously I don't do good at excuses. So where's the beer?
I wasn't a heavy drinker. Every now and then I'd drink to occasion, but that was usually it. Hangovers are something I tend to stay away from. Previous experiences haven't worked out so well for me after long nights of heavy drinking. I've slept with the wrong women, done some bad things, pretty much anything you can think of to do when you're drunk, I've done it. Though I'm one of the few to actually learn from their mistakes.
l| Ryan |l Somewhere around here... I don't know, I got Andrew to get me mine.
l| Patrick |l Where is Andy anyways?
The noise of the music and loud chatting drowned my voice out as I could clearly notice when Ryan, the drunk idiot in front of me leaned in, sticking his ear closer to my jaw.
l| Patrick |l I said, Where is Andy anyways?!
l| Ryan |l OH! He's probably getting laid by this one chick he picked up tonight!
l| Patrick |l Another one?!
l| Ryan |l Yeah, but this one's better than last months'!
l| Patrick |l Damn man, he's gotta' learn to slow down! Take his time with the women. It's no wonder why he's always feeling depressed...
l| Ryan |l Anyways, I'm gonna' go party some more. You stick around and meet a few girls while you're here.
l| Patrick |l Alright, come look for me later, I think I'll be good enough to give you a ride home.
He left without a word as I started to pull the jacket off of my bag, scanning the room and its people. It smelt like a liquor store, with all types of beverages flowing amungst the room, each having its own unique scent or flavor added to it. I dumped my coat on a coach, which seemed to be the coatrack for everyone else's.
l| Sasha |l Hey!
The loud pitched voice startled me a little as I turned slightly, to see none other than a familiar face. To my surprise, it was Sasha Carissa, a female I had a good bond with and personally a slight interest in. How couldn't I, she's almost perfect in every single way...
l| Sasha |l I didn't expect so see you here!
l| Patrick |l Neither did I! What are you doing here?
l| Sasha |l I know the guy who runs this party, you know Jack?
l| Patrick |l Who?
l| Sasha |l Jack Harrington, the man who's house you're in.
l| Patrick |l Not a clue, my friends dragged me to this party.
l| Sasha |l So how you liking the party so far?
l| Patrick |l It's great.
I lied through my teeth, I haven't even been here for more than ten minutes and already I was judging the place. Though so far, I guess it's alright, good population, everyone appears to be having a good time and I haven't seen two fists being thrown yet.
l| Sasha |l So what did you think of our date last week?
l| Patrick |l Look Sasha, I'm sorry about the paparazzi arriving. I know it was stupid of me and I should have planned things a bit better and-
l| Sasha |l No, before the paparazzi showed up.
She gave me an innocent smile, biting her lower lip and inching closer towards me. Her hands lightly grasped my hips as I began to stare down at her, directly into her beautiful eyes. She knew I was already a piece of metal to her magnet, all she had to do is move closer for the attraction to kick in.
l| Patrick |l Well, I must say you looked absolutely amazing in that dress. Your hair was perfect. I couldn't pull myself away from your eyes
