[Opponent: Arch Angel] Well, I had pulled it off. Going up against a big name in The "X" and coming out with my first defeat. It's a nice feeling, makes me feel superior, like I've already settled in an impact to the XPWA. Though he put up a well rounded fight, he kept his fists up the whole time and really took it to me. Props to him for his good work.
Though I believe the better man had won. I had managed to hold in my energy for a much longer duration, outrun him in all of his tactics and pulled off The Answer to keep him down for the three. I hope sometime in the future we'll meet again, another epic battle for the ages.
Though however, I have set out another challenge, and yet another man has taken the bait. This time, the name of Arch Angel. A rookie to the federation, like I, have little knowledge of each other, and only a few things could be learned from watching previous matches. For all I know he could be preparing himself for a different strategy, using his mind of his strength, or visa versa.
Though besides the tactics and game plans, I feel I am well prepared and will be able to show The "X" my true talent yet again. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the fans out of their seats or publish at least another form of entertainment. If I give it my all, I think I'll earn a little more respect from the industry and the fans and things should go smoothly.
Right now I'm not too worried about title shots, patience is something I've learned to cope with since my early years as a child. I was raised a very polite young man and I still have that feature, though I did pick up a little bit of crude, sarcastic humor from a few buddies of mine. And as time goes by, I can wait until I have fully earned the respect until deserved of a title shot.
But besides that, life has been quite entertaining thus far. I've had a few reporters tried to get at me, now that I've proclaimed myself to the world. Life's gotten a bit more difficult, and- Ah what the hell, I'll just run you through it...
l| Mrs. Shelley |l Patrick, these damn reporters keep interupting the classrooms and putting a hold on the school's education!
The school principal had said, sticking out her finger at me, just a few inches from her chest. I held my hands up softly, as if a sign for mercy, but yet in the sense of "alright, alright, you win". I stared down at the floor, not a single glance up into her eyes.
l| Patrick |l Alright, alright. You know I'm trying to do the best for this school. Hell, I'm earning it some money this way anyways. All you have to do is get a restraining order or something like that, just get something from court that goes against them.
l| Mrs. Shelley |l When I get the restraining order? When I get the restraining order?
l| Patrick |l Yeah, I'm too busy teaching...
l| Mrs. Shelley |l Oh come on Pat, it's your responsability, you do it. Okay, I'm a very busy woman, don't put me through that.
I looked up at her, the wrinkles that ceased across her face seemed to be a bit more darker, the shadows had grown a little down her face. I put down my hands and leaned up against the wall, holding myself erect, stable.
l| Patrick |l Fine fine fine, I'll make sure that The "X" is aware of this and I'll make sure that the press is aware of this. Good 'nuff?
She smirked, as if thinking it were a bad idea to start off with. However, it was something she could use and would momentarily work. All I needed was the temporary relief of silence from the press in order to get her off my back for a while.
l| Mrs. Shelley |l I guess so... What's The "X"?
l| Patrick |l The wrestling federation I work in.
l| Mrs. Shelley |l I thought it was called the XPWA or something like that?
l| Patrick |l It is, now run along now, I have a class to teach.
I pressed both my arms on her shoulders and began to turn her outwards, back in towards the hallways and giving her a light push, trying to force her back to her office. She did with an odd hesitation, as if wanting to say something, but couldn't find a line to crack the ice. She headed out, back down the hallway, stutter stepping with the sound of her heels clicking off to the echo of the long structure. I peered back inside my classroom to see it had gone haywire as I quickly stepped in and shot to the front of the class.
l| Patrick |l Okay class, quiet down.
The silence only blew further away as the sound seemed to increase. I stood at the front of the class, patient as always and waiting for everybody to settle down. Just then, I heard a voice call my name at the side of the class, near the door.
l| Female Student |l Mr. Glenn, phone's for you!
She had a phone in hand, holding it out as if she was going to underhand it to me from across the room, nevertheless it being attached to a cord. I quickly walked over, trying to hush the class down by holding my pointer finger upwards, pointed towards the ceiling, signalling for a quick second of silence. Eventually it slowly calmed down as I hooked the phone to my ear.
l| Patrick |l Glenn here.
l| Ms. Carissa |l Hey Patrick, remember me? Ms. Carissa, drama teacher?
l| Patrick |l How could I forget?
l| Ms. Carissa |l I got free tickets from work to a boxing night, includes dinner and all, want to come?
l| Patrick |l I'm in the middle of class.
l| Ms. Carissa |l And so am I, so are you in?
l| Patrick |l Wait, how'd you get tickets from work. I didn't get any...
l| Ms. Carissa |l I'm also a model. Nothing big, I haven't gotten any huge promotion or anything like that yet though.
I tried to involve myself into the conversation, seeing as it were leading somewhere. I figured there were certain times in life where you should focus on yourself above all others, this happened to be the one that fit my personality. Snapping my fingers, I encouraged for the sound to pick up, in which quickly did after I mouthed it to the students.
l| Patrick |l Uh, yeah, I'll go though. It's tonight?
l| Ms. Carissa |l Yeah, tonight at seven. Stay in your class until after school, okay? I'll be over there.
l| Patrick |l Don't you think I should dress fancy? It's a boxing fight, there's a lot of people who seem to dress fancy to those things, all the high rollers.
l| Ms. Carissa |l Don't worry, I don't need a high roller...
l| Patrick |l Do I sense something, Ms. Carissa? Is this a date you're asking me on?
l| Ms. Carissa |l Well I guess it appears so, but too late for you, you already said you're coming.
l| Patrick |l Indeed I did. And I'd be honored to go on a date with such a lady as yourself.
l| Ms. Carissa |l Thanks Pat, see you later. Bye sexy.
l| Patrick |l Goodbye Sasha.
A smile gleamed over my face as I hung the phone back on its reciever. I turned back outwards, towards the students, exposing my chest to the crowd as I began to proceed to the front of the class again, quickly grabbing the attention of the students this time around. I began the usual pace as I began to talk.
l| Patrick |l Alright ladies and gentleman, let's get back on topic here...
The rest of the class went relatively smooth, of course the odd call outs and uproars were there, they seem to be something that can't be tossed aside. It's a habit waiting to be killed, but even that concept is nearly impossible to achieve.
The next two classes went by amazingly fast, having already tought the same thing over before with two seperate classes, things ran smoother and much quicker. It didn't take long for the school bell to ring again and I was free, relieved of most work. Relaxing and beginning to settle in next to the computer, checking my e-mail, the common routine. Just then, a few heels sounded off just outside of my classroom door. Turning my head, I looked at the bombshell that stood at the doorway, suited up in a black, tight-fitting dress.
And that's where I'll decide to cut you off, because after that you don't need to know the rest. Maybe some other time, if you're lucky. So stay tuned, next time, hopefully after I beat Arch Angel at Sacrifice, I'll tell you. Hopefully...
Have a nice day, and kids, DON'T DO DRUGS! And When driving and driving, drive safely. Thank you.
