I Got A Feeling...
Mood:  celebratory
Now Playing: DC101
PITTSBURGH'S GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!

OMFG!!! I just can't believe it. I'm still in shock three days later. It is so incredible. The Steelers crushed the Broncos 34-17 becoming the AFC Champions. Now they have the chance to get "one for the thumb" and The Bus is going home and all the other things the media will beat to death for the next two weeks. Speaking of which, what am I going to do with myself on Sunday with no football. That sucks!

We play the Seattle Seahawks. Huh. I mean, I would have rather played the Panthers because the story would have been great. It would have been an onslaught of the "Real Road to Super Bowl XL". Oh well, at least we're going to the show. I'm just still overwhelmed, but not hyped yet. Don't worry, I'll get there by next week. The only thing I have a problem with is they media saying this game will be boring because of the match-up. It's not our fault nobody outside of Seattle cares about the Seahawks. And that loser Sean Salisbury said that this won't be the sexiest match-up. Whatever! Ben is sexy as hell. Okay, maybe that's just me, but that is a bit insulting. I just hope that this goes down to be one of the best games ever, just to shut the naysayers up. Besides, if the Patriots (worst team ever) are so damn awesome, how come the ratings for last year's game went down from previous years. Newsflash: that means people were getting tired of Tom (Marcia) Brady getting crammed down there throats. I hope that team falls into obscurity for the next century.

I'm trying to think if anything else interesting happened this week. Oh yeah, I got a Christmas card from Lisa on Monday. At first my mum thought it came so late because she didn't put my name on the card, just the address. And she spelled the street name wrong. I e-mailed about it and it turns out that she didn't have any stamps at Christmas time, but she has some now and she just sent them out. Wow. If it had been me, I just would have put it in a safe place and saved it for the next year. It's just a card.

I'm trying to recap the game, but I just can't think of anyway to do it justice like the last two games. People actually gave the Steelers credit this time around. And the fact that the Broncos had four turn-overs, all by Jake Plummer, helped a great deal. But the Steelers were just amazing. Ben was 21/29 for 275 yards, two touchdowns, and he ran for one. Major credit to Hines Ward for two catches that should have been interceptions. And one of those Hines caught for a touchdown. I just don't know what else to say. At least there were no major scares this time around that went down to the wire. If I had to take two games in a row like the one versus the Colts, I'd probably have to stop watching football.

I'm running out of things to talk about, so I'm going to bounce...

The Bungles can have their "AFC North Champions" hats and shirts. We have those things AND a trophy! HERE WE GO STEELERS!!

I'm phasing.
