So, we had a scare against the Lions in week 17, but we won. And the Wild Card round in the Playoffs? Absolutely amazing. 3 out of 4 teams I was rooting for won. Stupid Patriots. GO BRONCOS!! It was the first time ever that both the sixth seeds won.
The Steelers are something. But nobody seems to know it. I just think it's so unfortunate that their win got tainted by Carson Palmer's injury. And I'll admit that the outcome would have been different if Carson had played (Homerness: Then they would have lost by 11 instead of 14. The final score was 31-17.), but it's so unfair that this is overshadowing Ben. Last I heard, Carson Palmer played on the offense. That means that there is no way he would have stopped Ben from completing 14/19 passes, for 208 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. He's come such a long way since last year. Boo is mexcellent!
So, from all that I guess you can gather that the Steelers advance to the next round of the Playoffs. Our reward: Going back to the RCA Dome to face the Indianapolis Colts. Now, I can't be as confident going into this game like I was with the Bengals, domes are just not our friends. Plus, we're HUGE underdogs, by 9 1/2 points, but that's not exactly what I mean by huge. Out of all the road teams, I believe we are least favored to win. People are giving the Redskins more of a chance then they are us. And I'm not saying the Redskins suck, but I'd rather play the Seahawks than the Colts. At least I like the Colts. But I do know that the Steelers will not lose by 20 this time, I have a feeling this game is going down to the wire. And I'll be rolling around on the floor absolutely ill on Sunday. But right now, I just want to enjoy our past win. It may be the only happiness I'll have for a while.
I don't really have too much else to say. I haven't talked to anybody, really. Lisa called a few days back, but it was her brother's birthday, and they were having a party. I could barely hear her over the noise. Then her sister-in-law (I think) made her get off the phone. I sort of understand the wanting to get away when there are a lot of people around, if you couldn't tell, I'm a bit anti-social. But I don't think I'd call during my own brother's birthday party. Especially right there in the room. I heard them singing "Happy Birthday" to him! That was a bit rude.
I didn't have a chance to say what I got for Christmas, but I got a digital camera. Better than the one I got for my birthday. Man, if I had that thing back in August, who knows the kind of photos I would have gotten of Ben. The only thing is that when you take a picture, you have to tell the person to hold still until the image comes up on the little screen, or else it'll come out blurry.
Oh yeah, Lost (best show ever) comes back tonight. I can't wait, it feels like it's been ages.
I better be going. I'm trying to decide what picture to put up this time. There were a couple more from the WWE house show, but really, the only one I could put up was from the win against the Bengals.

Who dey? WE DEY!!!!!
I'm phasing.
