Opening music break: Everclear Father of Mine. This song used to tear me up inside something terrible. I remember the first time I heard it, I was bawling. It's a shame anyone has to understand shit like that.
(Music break: Weezer Beverly Hills) Okay, time for football talk. We won on Monday night. It was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. It was so ugly. My hat's off to the Ravens though. They brought it like no one else. Everyone was saying it was going to be a walk in the park, but the rivalry between the teams must have sparked them. Plus they were desperate. If they had won, they would have been 3-4 and could have hoped for a Wildcard spot in the playoffs. Alas, they fell to 2-5 while the Steelers are closing in on the "Not for real" Bengals at 5-2. It would be great if Baltimore got real fired up next week and totally kicked the Bengals ass, but this loss might have deflated that. Even though the Ravens are my second least favorite team in the NFL, I still really want them to upset the Bengals because they have just been drinking too much from their own Kool-Aid. And that's not good. (Music break: Whatever It Takes {Theme From Degrassi}, I wish I knew who sang this song.)
Poor, poor Ben-Ben. He had arthroscopic surgery on his knee this morning. The great news is that he'll only miss 1-2 games, max! But still, this kinda sucks. And some other people are saying that, "thank goodness our next two games are against the Packers (1-6) and the Browns (2-5). After Monday night's game, I just can't count out anybody. Especially Green Bay. You know they are beyond desperate, and those are the most dangerous teams. (Music break: Mariah Carey All I Want For Christmas Is You) Oh, my poor boo. It's just not fair. How come nothing ever happens to OTHER quarterbacks who shall remain nameless. And I'm actually thinking about at least 3 right now.
I really don't have much else to say. Except that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire opens up two weeks from tomorrow. I HAVE to see that movie, the trailers look so awesome. But the thing is that I don't want to see it by myself. I'd love to see it with Jackie and Rhonda because they're total Potter-heads and stuff. I'll be okay if I see it with Lisa, but I'm not sure if I want her boyfriend to come. Not jealous (...well, sorta), but you know how I get about Harry Potter, and this movie is the adaptation from my favorite book in the series, and I don't want anybody like talking or something during it. All I can say is that the fifth movie will probably be pretty lackluster compared to this one, but there is a lot of filler they can get rid of when they make that movie. (Music break: Green Day Wake Me Up When September Ends)
I guess I'll be going now. But, as always...

(Music break: Ike & Tina Turner A Fool In Love, damn that's eerie.) I know he's as sick as I am of his damn knees. Come on O-line and BLOCK for your boy! We need him around to go to the playoffs! I keep trying to look on that bright side of life, but it gets harder and harder everyday. (Music break: Bon Jovi Livin' On A Prayer)
I'm phasing.
