Please follow all of the below rules.
Statement
Oblivion Wrestling may not have been open very long, but that doesn’t mean we easily take misbehavior. Oblivion Wrestling has some very strict rules, which are all very understandable. All the rules below are set to make this e-wrestling federation a better place for all. If you feel you have an agreeable argument with any of the rules, please let one of the staff know. Even though our staff have worked very hard in deciding these rules, we are certainly open to suggestion. Suspensions or even contract termination are sometimes placed in order if rules are broken. These only occur in the most of extreme cases. Simply abide by the rules and you’ll have no problems.
No Racism or Sexism
This is based upon all categories of profanity. That means that both sexism and racism are very much disallowed in Oblivion Wrestling; it is heavily stressed upon. Anyone found posting any form of these offences will immediately be taken from the roster of Oblivion Wrestling and asked never to return. Even if you have a brother or sister interested in applying to Oblivion Wresting, they too will not be allowed into this e-wrestling federation. We do not hold grudges against your siblings but the I.P Address for your computer will show every time you post a message. Therefor, it is not specifically you that is be banned, it will be your computer’s I.P Address.
Profanity
To sum up the term ‘Profanity’ would be to call it ‘Swearing’. I won’t go into detail of the swear words people use, as I’m sure you can all guess. In some form of roleplays or out of character messages posted, mild swearing is allowed. ‘Ass’ or ‘Damn’ or used often, so we have no problem with that. However, extreme cases of ‘Shit’ or ‘Fuck’ are considered insulting to the reader. Remember to take it light on the profanity. Disobeying this rules can lead to you being taken from the roster.
Superstars
Oblivion Wrestling accepts applications from customary created wrestlers only. We do not take applications for the position of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker or any other real wrestler for that matter. A custom wrestler is someone you create from scratch. A superstar which no one has ever heard of. Originally is highly looked upon in Oblivion Wrestling. No pictures are to be left in roleplays or out of character messages. The fan board may contain pictures, as that is a place for the discussion of both e-wrestling and real wrestling. No links are to be left there (See Advertisement). Now, back onto your superstar. By not accepting applications regarding real superstars, we also do not accept what we refer to as ‘Gimmick Stealing’. This means we do not accept anything the same or even similar to the following… The Grock, Stone Hot Steve Baustin, The Overtaker. See what we mean? On that note, even if you’re superstar has an original name, we do not want him or her repeating ‘What?’ after every sentence, telling us what he or she is cooking or anything stupid like that. I can work with the Meta Creations version of Poser 4 myself but are yet to find a copy. For now, Oblivion Wrestling will be using pictures of real wrestlers.
Roleplaying
All your roleplays must contain a minimum of fifty lines of good quality work. Do not change the face of size of the text to make it look larger. The colour can be changed, as this does not affect the size. Fifty lines is not a hard task to do. Some of the federations I have worked for have has a minimum of sixty lines per roleplay, but stated that to get anywhere you need to produce about two hundred to two hundred and fifty lines. Oblivion Wrestling is looking for experienced roleplayers and not first timers. Everyone has to start somewhere, but here is not the place. Make all roleplays contain quality. Our main rule for roleplaying here is quality over quantity. Your wrestlers success is based on 50% roleplaying quality and 50% story line. Keep in mind that of your produce three top class roleplays and your opponent produces only one poorly written roleplay, you are guaranteed to win the match up. Try to base your roleplays somewhere original instead of in the ring. Go to a bar, the beach, a club or even your own house. Also, your roleplays must not include other superstars without the permission of them or one of the Oblivion Wrestling staff. This includes executives, referee’s or valet’s (besides your own). Commentary staff and backstage interviews are allowed to be used. Keep in mind that attacking any form of Oblivion Wrestling personal will lead to punishment.
Pictures
No pictures of real wrestlers are allowed in your roleplays whatsoever. Even though I stated above the Oblivion Wrestling will currently be using pictures of real wrestlers, you are not allowed to. This includes small movies of the superstar. Sound clips may be used in your roleplays but only if you abide by the following. If you’re superstar is named Matt Hayes or something and your character based picture is Chris Jericho, you are not allowed to produce a sound clip of the theme music to Chris Jericho. A sound clip to your own theme music, what ever it may be is allowed.
Weekly show and Pay Per View
Oblivion Wrestling contains one weekly show and one monthly pay per view. The weekly show is entitled Mind Games and is featured on Saturday. The roleplaying deadline is at 11:59 p.m. (UK time) on the Friday before the show. Even if a roleplay is posted at 12:00 a.m. it will not be included. We don’t care if your computer froze or what ever other excuse you will have for turning it in late, this is not our problem. Each pay per view will be featured toward the end of every month (exact date will be announced at hand) on a Sunday. The roleplaying deadline will be the Saturday before at 11:59 p.m. The same rule applies here as for the weekly show. Do not question the staff as to when the results will be up, as you will just be ignored. They will be up when they’re up, and that’s that. If you lose, you can complain to the wall or the mirror, take your pick. I have explained how to win above under Roleplays.
Advertising
If you look upon the homepage of Oblivion Wrestling you will see that upon the links bar under Affiliates there may be a space for you’re e-wrestling federation to go. If you wish to have your e-wrestling federation listed up there you must provide a link on the homepage of your e-wrestling federation to Oblivion Wrestling. Now, onto the boards. If you have advertised your e-wrestling federation upon any of our boards you will immediately be banned from all interactive boards. If you are a superstar here at Oblivion Wrestling, you will be released from the roster for such an offence.
All these rules are places here to make Oblivion Wrestling a more adjustable e-wrestling federation. Please abide by all of them.
