Ask NGW

OK, as much as I didn't want to touch this, I feel I have to. NGW was backyard for a good three years. Currently, they are changing their format and their selection of wrestlers. Not only that but NGW will be holding events in venues starting in May of this year. Many people are saying that we are still a backyard wrestling federation. If you check the Backyard Wrestling Link, a reputable (if backyard could be) site for those feds, NGW is not listed anymore and does not associate with them.

Second, there are some wrestlers in the area who do not agree with what some of our wrestlers are as people. Disagreements and heat between guys outside of the ring has lead to many guys outside of NGW to try and degrade the wrestlers that are in NGW. We do not agree with that and feel that we should keep away from those wrestlers.

We are in the process of turning Indy. We are building a staff of highly reputable people including Justin Ciardullo and Michael Zitz. We are building a roster of guys who are great performers and also storylines to fit around them that would challenge any pro federations storylines. We are therefore not Indy yet, but underground. Until the day we have indoor shows, we will still be underground. But as for our days as a backyard fed, they were over at the start of this year.
