Marcel Hasan: First off, I would like to thank everyone for coming to the Pepsi/TNT Press Conference. Pepsi approached me before Mayhem, and told me that they were looking for a wrestler to do a couple commercials, selling Pepsi Vanilla. They wanted one of our very own wrestlers to sponsor their soda. Well, we spoke, and came up with the perfect wrestler. I’d like to bring up the owner of Pepsi, Johnathon Pepsiello.
The media begin to lightly clap as the Pepsi owner, Johnathon Pepsiello, approaces the stage. Marcel and Johnathon hug for the audience. They shake hands as the media begin to take pictures at a rapid speed.
Johnathon Pepsiello: Thank you Mr. Hasan. Yes, we contacted TNT Wrestling about having one of their talents being in a few commercials, selling our product. We will be shooting commercials within the week, which will be debuted at the Sunday, March 14th, Mayhem. We wanted the people at home, who watch TV, to see our ads and buy our product. What other wrestler would’ve been better than the man for the people of TV, by the people of TV, and the man of the people of TNT. Ladies and gentlemen, the next Pepsi celebrity endorser, the TNT Television Champion, Lyricz.
”Sacrifice” by Trik Turner hits as Lyricz comes out with his TNT TV Championship slung over his left shoulder. Lyricz has on a solid black suit. He approaches Johnathon Pepsiello as they shake hands. Mr. Hasan walks over as all three shakes hands. They all turn to the left to shoot a picture, then to the right. Marcel and Mr. Pepsiello sit down as Lyricz goes to the podium. Lyricz begins to speak, but stops before speaking. He looks over and sees Nick Pellett and Alexi Draconis to the side conversing. Lyricz nods his head towards their direction as Alexi pump his fist toward Lyricz. Nick Pellett flips off Lyricz as Lyricz gets wide-eyed. Alexi Draconis chuckles to himself as Lyricz clears his throat.
Lyricz: Well, well, well. What a wild couple of week, eh? The Titans form two weeks ago, I successfully defend my TNT Television Championship, and now. Now, I get the opportunity to sell the product that I loved as a child, adolescent, and as an adult. Mr. Pepsiello approached Marcel about me shooting commercials for Pepsi, Pepsi Vanilla more specifically. Marcel asked me after I beat Mr. Jesse Westcoat, if I’d be interested in joining up with Pepsi to push their Vanilla soda. I was ecstatic. So about noon today Mr. Pepsiello called me up and offered me a shot at selling their soda. I accepted, and now we’re here. It’s an honor being the first ever TNT wrestler in history to get a deal with a major company to star in their commercials.
Nick Pellett scoffs, gets up, and exits the room.
Lyricz: Hey, hey, hey! Don’t mind that ass. He’s jealous probably or had to get a new pad. Nonetheless, this is a big day for myself, the Titans, and TNT. I can rest assure you all that Pepsi picked the right guy.
Johnathon Pepsiello stands up and walks over to Lyricz.
Johnathon Pepsiello: Now, we’re going to have Lyricz get something to eat. After he finishes we’ll continue with questions.
Johnathon Pepsiello and Lyricz shake hands and take a few more picture. Lyricz walks over to Alexi Draconis as Alexi Draconis congratulates Lyricz. Alexi whispers something in Lyricz ear and exits the room. Lyricz walks over to the dining room table and grabs a roast beef sandwich. He grabs a Pepsi Vanilla and walks over to the exit. He takes a bite of the roast beef. He cringes as he opens the door and throws the roast beef out the door. Lyricz opens the Pepsi Vanilla bottle, throwing the cap to the floor. He takes a big swig of the Pepsi and walks back up to the podium.
Lyricz: Any and all questions will be accepted. Yes, you.
A small woman stands up. She has a notepad in her right hand and a pencil in her left.
Samantha Fox: Hello, Samantha Fox here from the New York Daily News. Mr. Lyricz, we saw Nick Pellett leave earlier. Why don’t you guys like each other and will you ever reconcile?
Lyricz: The fact of the matter is that Nick Pellett is still pis…mad and angry at me for taking his title. He’s probably wondering where his soda commercials are. Well Coke is coming out with Bitch Berry, Nick. Take some of that. Either Pellett’s a team player, or he’s not. And if he isn’t, he better stay the hell out of my way. I beat him once, I won’t be hestitant to do it again. Will we ever reconcile? Yeah, when pigs fly. Next question!
A largely built man raises his finger and stands up.
Ben Dover: Good Afternoon. Ben Dover from UPN 9 and UPN 57. Lyricz, this Sunday at Mayhem, you have the biggest match of your career. This Sunday at Mayhem, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma you go one on one with the TNT World Heavyweight Champion, Johnny Fly. Fly is also the leader of the Dynasty, who are rivals to your Titans. If you are to come out on top in this contest, how big of a win will this be for yourself personally and the Titans.
Lyricz: You’re right. This is a huge match. If I can beat Johnny Fly, this will give the Titans the advantage heading into the March 21st Mayhem and the March 28th pay per view. I’m the new guy in TNT, well reasonably new. So if I can dethrone a veteran with the caliber of Johnny Fly, Dynasty can have the number game, but the Titans will still be on top. But, personally, this is the biggest match of my career. Bigger than my debut match against Blaze Divine. Bigger than my TNT Television Championship match against Nick Pellett. This Sunday night, I’m going up against the World Champion. I will tell you know, straight up, Johnny Fly is better than me. He has the World title, he’s better than me.
A geeky looking woman stands up.
Michelle Rochel: Michelle Rochel, TNT Wrestling Weekly. Lyricz, do you think that Johnny Fly will underestimate you and think he will walk all over you?
Lyricz: Johnny Fly sees this championship on my shoulder. This is the TNT TV Title. So until he sees the World Championship on my shoulder he’s going to underestimate me. Can I blame him? No. Because I underestimate myself aswell. I’m not going into the match looking for a win. I’m looking to prove myself to Mr. Hasan, to the Titans, to the quote unquote boys in the back. I’m going to show everyone I can hang with the best in the business. Right now, as we speak, Johnny Fly is best in the business. But he won’t be for long. Whether I do it, Alexi Draconis, Nick Pellett, Trouble Shooter, or someone not in either group, someone is going to knock Johnny Fly off his plateau. Someone is going to beat him for his title. Once you take out the captain, everyone crumbles. You take out the heart and soul of the Dynasty, which Johnny Fly is both, they won’t stand a chance.
Johnny Fly thinks he’s going to come in, knock me around, one two three. Well, uh uh. It’s not happening like that. Johnny Fly will realize that you screw with one member of the Titans, you screw with the all. Alexi Draconis couldn’t get the job done, not saying he can’t later on, but now it’s my turn to take out Johnny Fly. Alexi Draconis had a cause for beating Johnny Fly. He had a motive. That motive? The TNT World Title. The title isn’t on the line. Why? Maybe because Johnny Fly is a pussy? Maybe because Johnny Fly is scared. Maybe Johnny Fly knows that I will beat him and if the title was on the line, he’d be scared I’d beat him and take the World Championship home.
A male reporter with a blue blazer on stands up.
Chris Rodriguez: Lyricz, who will a loss in this match be more devastating towards?
Johnny Fly has nothing to gain and nothing to lose. As for myself? Only thing I can get from this match is satisfaction of beating the World Champ. Johnny Fly knows I can beat him. Johnny Fly knows everyone in the back can beat him. The fact of the matter is in wrestling ANYONE can beat ANYONE. But, those who think they can’t beat someone, won’t be him or her. I think I can beat Johnny Fly. Will I make the bold prediction of saying I will? No. Because I’m not THAT cocky. I’m cocky as hell, but if you say you’re going to beat the World Champion, and you don’t, you’re going to get lashed out at so many times from the champion. By the way Johnny. I was in the Main Event a month or two ago with Dante. I defeated him in my first Main Event. I’ll do it this time. Talk about me all you want. But the fact is, your days as the best in the business, are numbered. Témanos porque usted no puede batirnos.
With that Mr. Hasan and Mr. Pepsiello greet Lyricz on stage as the scene fades.
