THE TRU$T
Who we were: THE
TRU$T is an organization, a stable, if you will, whose mission it is to preserve
the traditional ways of wrestling; wrestling at it's finest...the way of the
true champion. The workings of THE TRU$T started back in 1998, in a
little-known federation called the NWL. Back then most of the current
members, as well as the prior members, were no where near the sport. The
man behind the stable is known as KMD, and started the stable after the dissolution
of his old stable "The Graveyard Shift". Slowly KMD found other members
who were as gung-ho as he was about doing things the right way...and, slowly,
what was known as the original TRU$T was formed, building a solid group that
could always rely on each other. Although they had their quarrels,
the members, just a loose group of friends at the time, began to form life-time
bonds in the federation known as NAIR-0, and later, when they moved to the
IWF, they solidified into a coherent group that dominated the federations
they were in. After a failing, THE TRU$T broke apart...but not for
too long. After a few months of haitus in 2000, they reformed as THE
TRU$T XTREME, under the leadership of Mr. Mayhem himself, Sean Hand. When
the IWF closed later that year, THE TRU$T went with it, becoming nothing
more than a phenomenon of the past.
Who we are:
Now that it is 2 years prior, 2002, many
of the previous members returned to the re-opening of the IWF, unaware that
the stable would reform...and it probably wouldn't have, if it wasn't for
the workings of Joey Padrino, KMD's old Graveyard Shift stablemate. With
the rising of the masked terror known as Padrino, the former stablemates,
KMD and Hand, joined together, alongside long-time friend Jason Sensation
and past TRU$T enemy Travis Windsor, to reform the most powerful stable in
IWF history...THE TRU$T...and combat those under the sway of Padrino's power
promises.
Who we will
be: Your worst nightmares, that thing that
goes bump in the night, the roadblock to glory, and the best of the best rallied
under one banner. If you don't got TRU$T, you got nothing.
