must thereafter fall with the greatest loss."

~~Rank air and a heavy loss lies over the
heads of the MacDougans...the only link to the world of wrestling...the
only link that Krev could hold onto to relive his former glory...has
lost his only claim to superiority. He is a broken man, broken in
all the wrong places.~~
KMD: No word, huh?
~~The club is quiet tonight...there are
no hoardes of screaming fans waiting for a glimpse of their local
hero...their new legend. Is it shame? Is it an unacceptance
of reality? They lie in wait...they're always ready to rally
behind him again.
And they would, they would flock to him and rebuild him bigger, better,
and stronger than ever before.
They would if they could find him.~~
KMD: That's what I figured.
O'BRIAN: Not in the usual places, anyway.
~~Krev
shook his head. He didn't expect him to take it this hard.
He didn't expect him to just disappear like that. Not
again. Krev rubbed his chin, concerned. Had he ran off
again, had he decided to up and leave...wander the world
half-delerious...there would be trouble.
Krev really didn't want to deal with this, but, hell, now he has the
time to do so. Maybe it was a mistake the first time
around...putting his own career ahead of the needs of his own son.
Maybe it was a mistake, but it seemed like the only option at the
time.
If Krev didn't do something, Mike would have surely fallen into the
grasp of Joey Padrino...who knows what Joey would have done with
him..that time, anyway.
But that was nearly 6 months ago. Things are different now.~~
O'BRIAN: Not the Hive, not any of the
clubs...Rex, Laga, nowhere. It's as if he never came back with
us..
~~Krev frowns, pacing up and down in
front of the DJ stand.~~
O'BRIAN: I'll make some phone calls...he's
gonna have to turn up sooner or later.
~~Krev nods as O'Brian heads up the back
stairwell to the office. He leans against the bar and rubs his
temples. He didn't think losing a title would be this hard on
him. He's lost it before...it shouldn't have been any shock that
when he went a little lax he'd lose it. But for some reason, he
did.
He did seem really sure of himself. So sure he was on track.
But he was de-railed, and it might take some time to get him running
smoothly again.
Krev sighed, staring across the open floor.~~
KMD: Just don't do something stupid, kid.
~~Slowly we fade to static and the quiet
of fear.~~
