Farce of the Penguins 2006 Cast Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Applegate, Lewis Black, Whoopi Goldberg, Mo'Nique, Tracy Morgan, & Bob Saget Applegate's Role The Voice of Melissa, The Leading female Penguin Summary Carl (Saget), Jimmy (Black), & Marcus (Morgan) are set on a 70 mile March with hundreds of Male Penguins to mate once a year...But The only Problem is Carl doesn't want to mate and wants more than that and that's love while the rest of the Male Marching penguins just wants to get laid after a year.... Carl ends up meeting Melissa (Applegate) and falls in love despite having problems with friends like Jimmy & Vicky (Mo'Nique) All Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson Webmaster's Comment When I first saw the trailer of this and my first thought was Christina Applegate should not be doing a Movie like this... But I took a Chance and purchased the Movie and Loved it as I thought even though the Footage was taped with the actual movie MARCH of the Penguins but the idea and story of THIS movie FARCE of the Penguins directed by Bob Saget was awesome and LAUGH OUT LOUD as well as tons of celebrity cameos and a special singing segment between Saget and Applegate was priceless.... LOVED THE MOVIE however after having some people see it only two personal friends loved it as i heard more negative feedback about it than positive Rating 6/10 Dr. Susan Diary for Nicholas 2005 Cast Christina Applegate, Kathleen Rose Perkins, & Jonathan Schaech Applegate's Role The Starring role of Dr. Susan Summary Matt Harrison (Schaech) Meets and falls for Kate Wilkinson (Perkins) but avoids sharing his past with her and breaks up the relationship before it gets too serious, Kate wonders Why until Matt Sends her a Diary written by Dr. Susan (Applegate) for Nicholas Webmaster's Comment Based on a Novel which I never read but the Movie itself I am sure is no different as the Movie was really great but man is it sad ... just be prepare when watching the movie. Rating 7/10 Wake up Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie 2004 Cast Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Fred Willard, Applegate's Role Veronica, The First ever Anchorwoman Summary Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) a very famous Anchorman of the 1970's is at the top of his game until Veronica (Applegate) comes in and makes history as the first Female Anchorwoman and takes over Ron Burgundy job as the number 1 anchor person in the city! Webmaster's Comment Okay... Pretty Much the same as the Movie that was released added a few scenes to the movie that could not fit in the first to make it up as the lost Movie.... However Applegate appears half nude in this movie which is a Must see for any Christina Applegate fan! Rating 9/10 Surviving Christmas 2004 Cast Ben Affleck, Christina Applegate, James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara, Josh Zuckerman, Applegate's Role Alicia, The Pretend sister of Drew Summary Drew (Affleck) is dead set on spending Christmas for the first time with a family and takes a trip to his childhood home and pays a family (Gandofini, O'Hara, & Zuckerman) currently living there to take him in and when Alicia (Applegate) Shows up to visit her family all hell break loose. Webmaster's Comment I thought the movie was funny and really good, This movie made history for the fastest time to film a movie before a theater release and a DVD/Video release and knowing that there was a lot of controversy in making this film, it was very well done and made and it's very original as well. Webmaster's Comment Okay... ummm don't get me wrong, the Movie was funny but I have no idea what the big deal is with how great the movie is!! Websites are going crazy over the movie and has very good and positive reviews. As far as my opinion goes, The Movie was Great but not the best, As far as Applegate goes...an Unforgettable Performance Rating 9/10 Employee of the Month 2004 Cast Matt Dillon, Steve Zahn, Christina Applegate, Andrea Bendewald. Applegate's Role Sara, David's Girlfriend who dumps him Summary David (Dillon) is having the worst day of his life when he lost his job and than his girlfriend Sara (Applegate) and dealing with Wendy (Bendewald) on the side and is trying to avoid taking his best friend Jack (Zahn) advice about the worst luck he is having. Webmaster's Comment Man!!!!!!! for being an independent film, it sure was very well done and I was very impressed with the story line and the shocking surprises and a twist that i am sure all the Applegate fans will love! Ratings 9/10 Grand Theft Parsons 2003 Cast Johnny Knoxville, Christina Applegate, Michael Shannon, Robert Forster, Marley Shelton, Applegate's Role Barbara, Gram Parsons Ex Girlfriend out to claims what she thinks she deserves Summary Based on a true story in the late 70's of a Country singer Gram Parsons who had passed away and his best friend and manager Phil (Knoxville) was dead set on living his end of the deal by setting his sprit free in the desert and with the help of his new friend Hippie (Shannon) that was the plan to kidnap his body and take off but the likes of MR. Parsons Gram's father (Forster) who wants his son to be buried close to his family and Barbara Gram's Ex Girlfriend (Applegate) who wants his body to prove that he is dead for money and drags Phil's ex girlfriend Susie (Shelton) to prove that she is telling the truth. goes on this high speed chase to stop Phil and Hippie to do what they believe is right. Webmaster's Comment I think the movie was AWESOME on so many levels simply because it was based on a true story and it was awesome to see what true friends is all about. As far as Applegate goes, she was excellent through out the whole movie and she's very SEXY and a BITCH in the movie, A MUST SEE for any Christina Applegate fan!!!!! Rating 9/10 Wonderland 2003 Cast Val Kimer, Kate Bosworth, Lisa Kudrow, Josh Lucus, Dylan McDermott, Tim Blake Nelson, Christina Applegate, & Eric Bogosian Applegate's Role Susan, The Sole survivor of the Wonderland Massacre Summary Based on a true story on July 1st, 1981 Wonderland Ave. the street has never been the same since, when Porn legend John Holmes (Kilmer) lives in the world of Sex, drugs, & violence and deals with his own personal problems with his Teenage Lover Dawn (Bosworth) and his estranged Wife Sharon (Kudrow) all leading up to the quadruple Homicide on Wonderland Ave. out of Five Susan (Applegate) Survives the Massacre. Webmaster's Comment I think the movie was interesting simply because it was based on a true story and it was hard to believe that, that really happened but the only thing that I really was disappointed in the movie was it confused me a lot and I was waiting to see a point which in my opinion there was no point, the point of the movie was drugs, drugs, and more drugs!!! But worth watching it to see for yourself Rating 3/10 A View from the Top 2003 Cast Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Applegate, Kelly Preston, Candice Bergen, Marc Blucas, Stacy Dash, Rob Lowe, Joshua Malina, & Mike Myers, Applegate's Role Christine, who is Supposed to be the best friend of Donna Summary About a Young woman name Donna (Paltrow) who was Inspired by Sally (Bergen) to make all her dreams come true!! Donna was set on making her dream come true but only in the sky when she wants to become a first class international flight attendant but the following People Tommy (Blucas) , Christine (Applegate), & John (Myers) Stand in her way. Webmaster's Comment I Thought the Movie was good and some parts were funny, it's one of those movies the whole Family will enjoy together. It Was a Surprise to see Applegate's Part in the movie but if you have not seen the movie, I suggest you rent it to judge for yourself. Rating 4/10 The Sweetest Thing, 2002 Cast Camron Diaz, Christina Applegate, Selma Blair, Thomas Jane, & Jason Bateman Applegate's Role Courtney Rockcliff, The best Friend of Christina who takes her on a wild adventure Summary Christina (Diaz), & Courtney (Applegate) are set on a wild adventure road trip to find a Man name peter (Jane) Christina Met for 5 minutes at the Hottest Night Club Around. Webmaster's Comment I thought this was the best Christina Applegate Movie so far that she was in up until 2002. the Movie was very entertaining, funny, Laugh out Loud, surprises, and a Romantic Comedy to the Fullest!!!, in my opinion Applegate Made this Movie to be a success Rating 9/10 Prince Charming 2001 Cast Christina Applegate, Sean Maguire, Martin Short, Andrea Martin, Billy Connolly, & Bernadette Peters Applegate's Role Kate who Teaches Prince John about true Love Summary John (Maguire) & Rodney (Short) are turned into Frogs for all eternity as a punishment for John committing adultery or until the prince John can convince a maiden (Peters) to kiss and then marry him in 5 days. But Kate (Applegate) comes into the picture and teaches Prince John about True Love. Webmaster's Comment I thought this Movie was kind of Good and some funny parts. it also explains in my opinion what true love is all about. Rating 6/10 Just Visiting 2001 Cast Christina Applegate, Jean Reno, Christian Clavier, Matt Ross, Tara Reid, Bridgette Wilson, Malcolm McDowell Applegate's Role Julia Malfete/Princess Rosalind, Princess Rosalind is a Pass Life relative of Julia Malfete who tried to help bring back Count Thibault of Malfete to his time of Life in the 12th Century Summary Christian Count Thibault (Reno) & Andrea (Matt Ross) experience punishment when an Old Wicket witch Cast a Spell over them to kill Christian's Bribe to be Princess Rosalind (Applegate). How ever to avoid the punishment they find help from a wizard who sent them over a thousand years in the future where Christian Meets Julia (Applegate) His Great great great great great grand Daughter! Webmaster's Comment I thought the movie was kind of good and exciting and again one of those movies the whole family will enjoy watching together. Ratings 7/10 The Brutal Truth 2000 Cast Christina Applegate, Justin Lazzard, Jonathan Schaech, Moon Unit Zappa, Molly Ringwald, Tiffany Salerno, Leslie Horan, James C. Victor, Brad Harrison, Stephen Lisk Applegate's role Emily, The Woman That is the Brutal Truth Summary A Group of Friends from High School have a reunion by going out of town deep into the woods to learn about Emily (Applegate) which will shock them to find out the Truth about there Dear Friend. Webmaster's Comment This Movie makes me think about true friends and how far you will go to protect them. if you are a BIG Applegate fan I suggest you don't watch this Movie simply because you will not be happy to see the result of Christina Applegate and the strange twist in the movie. Ratings 5/10 Mafia 1998 Cast Jay Mohr, Billy Burke, Christina Applegate, Pamela Gidley, Olympia Dukakis, Lloyd Bridges, Jason Fuchs, Joe Viterelli, , Tony Lo Bianco, Vincent Pastore Applegate's role Diane Steen who wants world peace Summary A Bite off of every Gangster Movie there was. Anthony (Mohrm) wants to live the Mafia World to follow in his Father's Footsteps (Bridges) but Diane (Applegate) Try to change her Man to live in a world of Peace. And than Anthony runs into some Trouble with Pamela (Gidley) & Joey (Burke). Webmaster's Comment I thought this Movie was stupid but the kind of funny stupid. and worth the time to watch and judge for yourself. Ratings 5/10 The Big Hit 1998 Cast Mark Wahlberg, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christina Applegate, Avery Brooks, Bokeem Woodbine, Antonio Sabato JR.,China Chow, & Lela Rochon, Applegate's Role Pam Shulman The One of three Girlfriends of Melvin Smiley Summary Melvin Smiley (Wahlberg) is a Nice guy that deals with a lot of Stress in his personal life juggling between two women Pam (Applegate) & Chantel (Rochon) and trying to stay faithful in his secret Job as a Hitman but when his good friend in the Biz Cisco (Phillips) Points his mistake at Kidnapping the Bosses Goddaughter Keiko (Chow) at him. Melvin Try to survive the attack by his own fellow hitmen. Webmaster's Comment The Movie was not only action pack but comedy as well. I thought the movie was good and exciting and worth the money to own or rent. Rating 6/10 Kiss of Fire 1998 Cast Christina Applegate & Stefano Dionisi Applegate's Role The Staring role of a Stripper running away from her past and avoiding love all at the same time Summary Claudine Van Doozen (Applegate) try to run away from her Past into the world of Exotic Dancing and in her way she meets a man Stefano (Dionisi) who she try so hard to avoid falling in love with and learns there is more to life then the life she is living in and try to confront her past with help from Stefano. Webmaster's Comment I thought Christina Applegate's performance in the movie was awesome!! I was fooled to think she can only do comedy movies but when I was studying her acting in this movie I was in shock that she can be serious too. but the movie it self was okay but the best part in the movie was the SEXY Christina Applegate! Rating 7/10 Nowhere 1997 Cast James Duval, Rachel True, Nathan Bexton, Chiara Mastroianni, Debi Mazar, Kathleen Robertson, Joshua Gibran Mayweather, Jordan Ladd, Christina Applegate, Sarah Lassez, Jeremy Jordan, Ryan Phillippe, The Late John Ritter, Heather Graham, Scott Caan, Roscoe & Mena Suvari Summary a group of Kids from high school including Dingbat (Applegate) all survives sex, drugs including acid, BI sexual Experiences, Suicide, illusions, Violence, Rape, Relationships, and Personal Family Issues, all trying to escape from an Alien Webmaster's Comment To be honest, I do like the movie but don't expect anybody else to like it as there really is no Plot or point to the movie other than sending a message to parents of teenagers that if they end up like the ones in this movie ... it will send them no where! However the idea and work involved in making this movie was very deep and strong and for anyone who is interested in this movie,, I would recommend it however don't expect anything out of it unless you face the same problems. Rating 5/10 Vibrations 1996 Cast James Marshall, Christina Applegate, Faye Grant, Paige Turco, Scott Cohen, Bruce Altman, David Burke, & Steven Keats Applegate's Role The Leading Lady Anamika That changes T. J's Life Summary A Struggling young musician T.J (Marshall) survives a brutal and deadly attack that left him no hands!! After the attack it left him dealing with depression which he leaves his band, Parents, and girlfriend Lisa (Turco) behind and skip town without ever being heard from again. On his way to find "himself" He meets new friends and a new girl Amamika (Applegate) who changes his life and helps him achieve his dream of becoming a Music Star. Webmaster's Comment I thought this Movie was OK and touching to know that you can still achieve your dreams with or without your body parts regardless of the price you have to pay to accomplish your dream. Rating 4/10 Wild Bill 1995 Cast Jeff Bridges, Ellen Barken, John Hurt, Diane Lane, David Arquette, & Christina Applegate Applegate's Role Lurline Newcomb, The Whore of Deadwood Summary Wild Bill Hickok (Bridges), famed lawman and gunman of the Old West, is haunted by his past and his reputation. He is loved by, but cannot love, Calamity Jane (Barkin). Dogging his trail is young Jack McCall (Arquette), who blames Bill for abandoning the boy's mother (Lane) and destroying her life. McCall has sworn to kill Bill, and the only person that believes he can do it is Lurline Newcomb (Applegate). Webmaster's Comment Based on the legend of Wild Bill Hickok, The Movie was very well done, and I really enjoyed it, Even though Christina Applegate had a very serious role in the movie, I was hoping it would play a very important part in the movie but it doesn't, although it was very nice seeing her during the western days of the 1800s. Rating 7/10 Across the Moon 1995 Cast Christina Applegate, Elizabeth Pena, Michael Mundra, Tony Fields, Peter Burg, Michael McKean, James Remar, Burgess Meredith, Summary Kathy (Applegate), Carmen (Pena)& Carmon's Son Paco (Michael) Moves far deep into the desert in the middle of no where and meets very Interesting People and tries to Survive with very Little money all trying to be Faithful to there Boyfriends (Fields) & (Berg) in Prison. Webmaster's Comment A lot of people I personally know have said this movie was the worst movie they ever saw. Which I can't say in my opinion it was the Worst, but it was not the best either. It was interesting I thought. Rating 4/10 Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead 1991 Cast Christina Applegate, Joanna Cassidy, Josh Charles, Keith Coogan, David Duchovny, Jayne Brook, Eda Reiss Merin, Robert Hy Gorman, Danielle Harris, Christopher Pettiet, Applegate's Role The Staring Role that plays the mother role over her brother's and sister Summary Swell (Applegate) is very Upset that her and her Four Younger Siblings are stuck with a baby sitter who is very mean (Merin). Later that day, Swell found her dead and with the help of the brothers and sister (Harris) they shipped her body at a front door of a funeral home but later realized all the money there mom left them was with the baby-sitter's body. And cannot get it back. this means WORK!!!!!!!! Webmaster's Comment This is Christina Applegate's first Motion Picture and I thought this movie was good and everybody I know personally LOVES the movie. every time Christina Applegate's name is mention the first thing I hear is I loved her in that Movie don't tell mom the baby sitter is dead. It was exciting, fun, funny, and A strange twist to the movie. However the thing a lot of people don't think about is that not once from the start to the end of the movie they did not tell there mom about the baby-sitter. Rating 6/10 Streets 1990 Cast Christina Applegate, David Mendenhall, & Eb Lottimer Applegate's Role The Staring role of a Teen Prostitute Dawn trying to survive on the streets and from a Psycho Killer Cop Summary A homeless teenage prostitute Dawn (Applegate) who shoots Heroin to get through the day, Sells Sex just to survive, and eats anything she sees off the street if that was the only choice she had to do to stay alive on the streets. than comes a straight ace kind of guy Sly (Mendenhall) into Dawn's life and tries to help her in any way he can including trying to survive a Psycho Killer Cop (Lottimer) who gets off on killing young hookers. Webmaster's Comment I thought this Movie should have been Christina Applegate's first motion Picture Movie, as she gives an unforgettable performance playing a white trash wasted teenage Prostitute which she was awesome!!! She showed that she can play any part in any movie from being a Comedian, stripper, a Bitch, A druggie, a prostitute, a Slut, & a Dumb Blond. The movie it self was very good and very impress by the story line. If you want to learn how to survive on the streets watch this movie!!. Rating 8/10 It's a Bundyful Life 1989 Cast Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, David Garrison, Amanda Bearse, Christina Applegate, David Faustino, Ted McGinley & Sam Kinison Applegate's Role The Role that Made her famous...Kelly Bundy Summary Al Bundy (O'Neill) was stuck at work on Christmas eve, and did not make it in time to cash his Christmas Bonus at Marcy's (Bearse) Bank and was yet again going to celebrate Christmas on the 26 of December With the Family (Sagal, Applegate, Frustino). Al Has an accident with the Christmas lights and met his guardian angel (Kinison) who is in need for Wings, only if he can help AL Bunday and showed him what Life could of been with out AL.. Webmaster's Comment Not really a Movie but popular enough to make it to video and was consider a very classic episode of Married with....Children history...Funny esp. his version of the night before Christmas Rating 6/10 Dance Til Dawn Date 1988 Cast Christina Applegate, Tempestt Bledsoe, Tracy Gold, Kelsey Grammer, Edie McClurg, Alyssa Milano, Matthew Perry, Alan Thicke Applegate's Role The Rich Snobby Patrice Johnson who is the head of Prom and blames her boyfriend Roger (Matthew Perry) for everything that doesn't go her way Summery It's the Biggest night of the year for Hoover High as Prom is approaching and all the popular and not so popular kids prepare leading up to the Big night and along the way face many problems as Patrice (Christina Applegate) Blames her boyfriend Roger (Matthew Perry) for everything that doesn't go her way, Angela (Tracy Gold) who is a dorky book warm gets asked out by the most popular guy in school when her best friend Margaret (Tempestt Bledsoe) tries to stop her when she discovers a secret bet to why he asked her, & Shelly (Alyssa Milano) The most Popular Girl at Hoover High doesn't have a date and finds herself in hiding with the dorky Dan (Chris Young) who also doesn't have a date. The Parents of the Hoover High Students also face problems as Patrice's Parents faces marriage problems and to keep under control as chaperones at the prom, & Angela's Parents (Kelsey Grammer & Edie McClurg) follow her to see what she is up too and Father of Dan try to figure out where Dan is and why he lied about having a date. Webmaster's Comment The Movie was most def. a Typical 1980's teen Movie, if you seen one 1980s movie you have seen it all which is what this movie is all about ... no different than the others. Rating 3/10 I am Looking for..... With the Movies/Projects Christina Applegate took part in, I am Looking for on DVD and in good condition...
