On August 8th, 1976, Jonathan and Trish Cullum gave birth to Marcus Cullum in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born to a rich family, Marcus seemed to have everything. The best for their son was The Cullum's motto....the best housing, the best clothes, the best schooling. Marcus had a rowdy bunch of friends as well, joining a small backyard wrestling federation that includes Ichabod as well as Thomas Lawrence. Marcus had everything going for him with all the aforementioned things....fate seemed to have a different game plan in mind for him though.

At age 10, Marcus was out and about with his family when his parents were being held at gun point as two men were robbing them. Forced into the alley ways, the two men took what they could, deciding to shoot both of his parents in the head. Before the assailents could finish off the family, a police officer that happened to now be nearby heard the noise and shot both men dead before anymore harm could be done. Being that he had no family left in Spartanburg, South Carolina, leaving behind the only life he knew to him. Atlanta, Georgia was his new home though, with his Grand Father and Grand Mother that took him in for their daughter that was now gone. Marcus had to drastically change the way he lived, as he didnt have everything anymore, his grand parents only able to supply him with his necessities. All the while, though, his parents death still influencing how he acted unbeknowest to his grand parents.

With the images of his parents death seemingly burnt into his memory and unable to be forgotten, Marcus began to keep things locked in too much, all of his feelings turning to anger. His anger became manifestied as Marcus began to cause trouble by starting fights and ending them his way, in a flurry of blood. Marcus began to steal things himself, as well as other crime breaking activities.

His grand parents not really knowing how to help young Marcus only tried to do what they could, talking to him and trying to open him up. Marcus, on the other hand, gave them the cold shoulder, continuing on his path of disaster that he was paving for himself. In a last ditch effort, his grand parents called up a family friend, one that would cause a change in young Marcus as he had became to be thus far....
