We are just a few weeks away from the biggest Sports Entertainment extravaganza in the world, the showcase of the immortals........WRESTLEMANIA III! And at Mania, the wMe will crown a NEW wMe United States Champion, in one of the highly anticipated matches on the card. And we saw a preview of this match at the blockbuster Slam Secondy Anniversary show last sunday, as Chris Benoit, Sonny Siaki and Bradshaw all went at each other in a great match up. But after all was said and done, Chris Benoit took a huge step to capturing the gold, as he not only won the preview match up, he did something that no one thought would be possible, he made Bradshaw, possibly the toughest competitor in the wMe today tap out to the Crippler Crossface. No doubt about it, Chris Benoit has been on a roll since missing out on the TV Title at the Rumble, and looks focused on becomming United States Champion. But this week isnt Wrestlemania III, this week is Slam. And in possibly the biggest match of his wMe career yet, Chris Benoit will go up against none other than one of his closest friends in the industry, the current WM2K1 Champion, Eddie Guerrero. A true test to see whether or not Chris Benoit is ready to be 'elevated' to the next level, as he will no doubt be looking to prove that he can beat the World Champion. Will the Rabid Wolverine be able to prove once again that he is the best in the business today? Or will the World Champion Lie, Cheat and Steal a victory over the Crippler? Tune into Slam this week, for what should be an awesome main event.

Scene Name: 'To Eddie its a family heritage.........to me ITS MY LIFE!'

The camera's open up on a huge street, in the middle of El Paso, Texas. The sun is beaming down, and we see alot of huge mansions along the side of all the roads. A Low Rider comes flying down the road, with the music blaring as a few gangsters drive past. Behind them though, is a nice big Range Rover, with tinted windows. It up just outside the drive way to a huge, luxury mansion. The dorr opens, and out steps Chris Benoit, sheilding his eyes from the harsh sunlight. Wearing white trainers, black jogging bottoms, and a wMe Wrestlemania III T-Shirt, he makes his way up the steps towards the huge front door. As he gets to the top, the door opens, and he is greeted by none other than Chavo Guerrero Snr, Eddie Guerrero's brother.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Hey..........how ya doin Chris?

Chris Benoit walks up, and they shake hands, and then Chavo Snr pulls Chris Benoit in for a hug, shocking Benoit a little.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Im good Chavo, Im good. Hows it going?

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Its going excellent holmes. Come on in.......

Chavo Guerrero Snr steps to the side, and invites Benoit into the mansion. Benoit walks in, and Chavo closes the door behind him. Benoit looks around the huge mansion, impressed at how well Chavo is doing for himself.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Nice place you got here.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Thanks alot essa, we do alright you know? Anyway vato loco, hows everything going? You still in the wMe with my bro?

They take a seat in the front room. Benoit sits on the huge couch, while Chavo Snr pours them both a nice whisky. He hands it to Benoit, who accepts greatfully, and the host sits opposite Benoit. Benoit drinks his whisky, and puts the glass down on the huge glass table between the two of the them.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Yeah, Im still there. Doing pretty well right now actually, got myself a wMe Unite.....

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Ahhhh, speaking of doing well essa, what about my bro, huh? World Champion holmes, Im so damn proud, no one deserves it more man.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Except me ofcourse.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Oh yeah Chris, you deserve it man, but come on, after all my bro has been through, he is one tough hombre to be back, an sittin atop of the Wrestlemania-Ent, he deserves it.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ And why is that huh? Because Eddie had a drug and alcohol addiction? Because Eddie had all of these problesm, him being champion means he has paid his dues? Well let me tell you something, I know he uis your brother, and I mean no offence, but Eddie and yourself couldnt even begin to imagine how much I have been through. How many damn setbacks I have faced, and how much pain I have endured, just to sit here and to have you tell me that your former pill popping brother deserves the World Heavyweight Championship more than I do! Do you know what thats like Chavo? HUH? No you dont, because you never had to bust your ass off for 18 years, hearing critics saying your too small to ever make it, or that I dont have the look of a champion. But I think everyone will agree with me when I say I have proven all of them wrong. Because I sit before you today, as the BEST DAMN TECHNICAL WRESTLER IN THE WORLD TODAY! I sit before you as the future wMe United States Champion, and I sit before you as the man who will prove to the world how damn good he is this monday on Slam, when I make your brother tap out in the middle of the ring.

Chavo Snr starts chuckling, infuriating the crippler.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Im sorry Chris, but you got your wires crossed holmes. Sure, your a damn good wrestler, maybe the best technical wrestler, but you and my brother have been good friends for years essa, and you know when the going gets tough, Eddie will always 'pull off' the win. Ha ha ha.

Chris Benoit starts laughing with Chavo, but suddenly stops and looks deadly serious, startling Eddie's brother.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ You think thats funny do you? That Eddie Guerrero, the World Champion of Slam has to cheat to win match after match, just to stay on top? I think its sad, and I think its pathetic. What kind of champion, has to resort to tactics like that............A JOKE CHAMPION! Thats who, a joke champion, a champion who knows he isnt where he deserves to be. While he stands proud as World Champion, I have to wrestle my ass off against nobodies like Benjamin, Skipper and Messiah week in and week out. But the tide is turning Chavo, because this week, I get what I deserve..........a main event match, and to go one on one with the wMe World Heavyweight Champion. I know its not for the championship, and for now, that title isnt my priority, as I have my match all set for Mania, and Ill be damned if I dont take the US Title there. But this monday night, I get to stake a claim to that belt somewhere down the line, because Im going to take wMe's Joke World Champion, and Im going to lock him in the Crippler Crossface in the center of the ring. And the whole world is going to witness Eddie scream, squel and then tap for his damn life. Yeah, your brother may of been through some traumatic times, but this monday he is going to feel some REAL pain. MY PAIN!

Chavo Snr looks slightly taken back with what Benoit is saying to him. He coughs nervously, and then responds.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ Oh yeah essa..............and what would you know about pain, Chris?

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ What do I know about pain? WHAT DO I KNOW ABOUT PAIN? Try wrestling for a whole month of your career with a broken neck! Doing german suplex after german suplex, night after night, for a whole month. I broke my neck Chavo, and that kept me out for over a year. Do you know what that did to me, it drove me crazy, it sent me over the edge. Wrestling is my life.........my passion, and a year of it was taken away. Instead of going out infront of thousands of fans, and doing what I do best, I had to spend a year in a damn neck brace, watching from TV, or going through hell in physio, trying to get my life back! I skipped a year of my life, but I came back. I come back, and what do I find? I find Eddie Guerrero, the guy who I wrestled through the ranks with, side by side in ECW, WCW and the WWE, sitting atop of the biggest company in the world, with the World Championship over his shoulder. The man I knew inside out, the man who knew how much I have been through, and am willing to go through to take the spot he has now. He took it when I was out, he took MY spot when I wasnt fit enough to do anything about it. Well guess what Chavo, I have never been in better shape, and I have never been this ready to hurt someone. And afterall me and Eddie have been through in the past 10 years or so, will mean NOTHING this coming monday..........afterall this is a business.........AND THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Chavo Snr looks like he is getting very angry with what Chris Benoit is saying, and he slams his fist on the table.

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ How dare you!? Eddie is the baddest essa I have met in my life, and after everything he has battled through, one of the homie's he has been with through thick and thin sits in MY HOUSE and says that about MY BROTHER! Have some damn appreciation for what my brother has done for you, essa!

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Appreciation for what? Huh? What has Eddie ever done for me in this business? When we was in WCW and WWE as the Radicalz, he did nothing except bitch, and moan, and whine and complain about how I was stealing the spotlight, about how I was taking his spot. But the fact was, I amthe best, I am better than Eddie was then, and I am better than Eddie is now, regardless of what Championship belt he is holding.Back then, I was trying to show Eddie how it was done, that you dont need to run your mouth week after week for half an hour on the microphone to get to the top. But he didnt listen, he just turned his damn back on me, and betrayed me. And when he went into rehab, despite all he had done, I went and saw him, I helped him through........and then a few months later I broke my neck, and I got no visits from, no phone calls, NOT EVEN A DAMN GET WELL SOON CARD! Since I have been in the wMe, he hasnt said one damn word to me, so what kind of friend is that? Huh? From what I can tell, mine and Eddie's friendship is dead, and that just makes upstaging Eddie, making Eddie tap like a little bitch so much easier. If breaking my neck means nothing to Eddie Guerrero, then breaking HIS neck..........will mean nothing to me either!

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ If you try anything funny this monday Chris, I swear to god holmes, you wont live till Wrestlemania III, I promise you that!

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Oh and why is that?

.::{Chavo Snr}::. ~ I dont care what kind of vendetta you and my bro have essa, he is still my baby bro. I know what its like in the wrestling world, wrestling is a Guerrero family heritage and.............

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Thats my point exactly Chavo. To Eddie, this is a family heritage.........to me, THIS IS MY LIFE! I live for wrestling, and I never had the father or the brothers to follow in the industry, I had to go through it all by myself. I had no one but myself to count on to get where I am today, and no one but myself pushed me to become the BEST! And now I have done that, I am going to take my rightful place atop of the wMe mountain. And I know Im not going to do it this week on Slam, and I know Im not going to do it at Wrestlemania III either, but what I do know, is this monday, Im going to send a message that I want that World Title. And when, not if, I finally get my shot at it, then the World Champion, whether its your brother or someone else, will see the referee raise the title, call for the bell and then look across the ring into my eyes. And they will realise that their luck, and their title reign has finally come to an end, BECAUSE I WILL BECOME WME WORLD CHAMPION, whether its the night after Mania, or the night after Summerslam, or Wrestlemania IV, the bottom line is Chavo, I will beat your brother this monday on Slam, and I will show him that after what we have both been through, I CAME OUT ON TOP! And if your brother thinks that Im talking rubbish, then I look forward to monday night, and look forward to him trying to........

Chris Benoit then stands up, and Chavo Snr snarls in his direction. Benoit flashes a toothless grin.

.::{Chris Benoit}::. ~ Ill see myself out Chavo..........but just make sure you watch this monday night.

Chris Benoit turns, and walks purposefully towards the door. He opens it, walks through and slams it behind him, as Chavo Snr mutters something under his breath, and then downs his whisky quickly, looking a little worried for his brothers safety heading into Slam.

Chris Benoit vs Eddie Guerrero. Possibly the two best mat technician in the wMe will go at it, with a little more than pride on the line. Their friendship is broken, and with both men having huge match ups at Wrestlemania III, and both being on a great roll as of late, neither man can afford to lose. One man will walk out of Slam, having proven to the wrestling world that they truly mean business, whilst the other will leave with their pride shattered, and their victory at Mania hanging by a thread. Benoit vs Guerrero, this monday on Slam...........DONT MISS IT!
