DICK KIRKENDALL MEMORIAL AWARD
This trophy is awarded to the wrestler who has had the most takedowns during the wrestling season. It is an annual award given by the Lehighton Takedown Club. This award was presented for the first time in 1977 to a sophomore. Thomas Krell, in memory of Dick Kirkendall, who was a past president of the Lehighton Takedown Club. Mr. Kirkendall was very active in all high school sports booster programs through out the years.
