Triple H's News section

On Feb 28 episode of SmackDown!, Stephanie yelled at Triple H for the comments he made about her on Raw. Steph also said that his lawyers were being completely unreasonable in their divorce settlement. The Game said that 50 percent for each was more than fair. Steph said that since she made Triple H, she not only deserved 50 percent of what they had together, but she also deserves 50 percent of anything The Game earns from now until he dies! The Billion Dollar Princess said she always gets what she wants, and she stormed out of the room. Later during the main event tag match between Triple H and Kane against Y2J who was accompanied by Stephanie, and Kurt Angle, there was one point when Triple H had Kurt locked in for the Pedigree, but Stephanie ran in and pulled his hair. The Game then set up Stephanie for the Pedigree, but Jericho ran into the ring and laid out Triple H with his championship belt! Angle locked on the ankle-lock onto The Game, but Kane made the save with a flying clothesline from the top rope! Steph re-entered the ring with a steel chair, but she quickly dropped it after locking eyes with Kane. The Big Red Machine picked up the chair and waffled Angle in the head, allowing Triple H to hit a Pedigree on the Olympic Hero for the win.

On Feb 25 episode of Raw, Chris Jericho and Stephanie McMahon were in the ring. Jericho said that while he technically he had never beaten Triple H, he had done something much better. He showed footage of the night that Jericho had torn The Game’s quad. He reminded Triple H that Jericho put The Game out of commission for eight months. If it weren’t for Jericho, Triple H may have been able to give his wife the attention she deserved and their marriage wouldn’t have crumbled, and he might have been man enough to get Stephanie pregnant for real. Stephanie said that was doubtful, because in the bedroom, Triple H always came up a little bit short! The Game's music hit and out came Triple H sauntering to the ring and he said it wasn’t so much a matter of him coming up so short, it was just a matter of the field he was playing on being a little too big! Stephanie angrily said she didn’t know what he was talking about. The Game said that even a 747 looks small when flying into the Grand Canyon! He then got into Y2J’s face and said that he wasn’t doing anything that night, so the two should get it on in a non-title match that night! Before Jericho could say anything, Kurt Angle stomped out and said that only Mr. McMahon makes decisions around here. Kurt said that since he was robbed of his WrestleMania title shot, Mr. McMahon granted him a match against Jericho for the Undisputed Championship! He said that he would be more than happy to make Stephanie his business partner after he beats Jericho. Without warning, Triple H pounced on Jericho and sent him flying from the ring!

On Feb 21 episode of SmackDown!, Triple H was to go one-on-one against the Undertaker. The Game made his way to ringside and locked cold stares with Stephanie and Jericho, who were there as guest commentators, before walking over to the announce table. Hunter grabbed a water bottle, took a big chug and sprayed water all over Y2J! Jericho and The Game began battling each other around the table before they made their way into the ring. Hunter laid out Jericho, but Steph made her way into the ring and slapped him! Triple H grabbed the hair of his estranged wife and set her up for a Pedigree, but Jericho attacked him from behind. The two continued to go at it until the Undertaker made his way to ringside on his motorcycle! Triple H mocked the Dead Man from inside the ring, and as Taker tried to climb into the ring, The Game landed a right hand to the face of the long-time veteran. Taker just shook his head, climbed on his bike and retreated to the back without even entering the ring!

Just one night after Triple H lost his match and his WrestleMania's Undisputed Championship title shot to Kurt Angle at No Way Out, The Game was granted a rematch against the Olympic Hero on Jan 18 episode of Raw, which was made by Ric Flair earlier. Chris Jericho came down to ringside to watch the match. Angle looked to be well on the way to repeating his victory over Triple H at the start of this match. He made a point of striking and stretching The Game’s abdomen in order to inflict pain on the ribs. He also rammed his shoulder repeatedly into Triple H’s sore ribs to further break down his opponent. Gradually, Triple H began to turn things around. He dropped Angle with a high knee to the chest, followed by a DDT and got a two count. A spinebuster moments later also produced a two count. Then, Triple H went for the Pedigree, but Angle blocked the finisher and catapulted Triple H into the turnbuckle. Shortly after, Angle geared up for a moonsault, but Triple H caught him from behind and dropped the Olympic Hero hard to the canvas from the top rope. The brawl spread outside the ring with Triple H taking a German Suplex on the hard floor. Jericho stood up and got into an argument with Kurt Angle, causing the ref to step in and push Jericho away. Angle used the distraction to clock The Game with the ring bell and roll him back into the ring! The ref got back in the squared circle but reached a two count before Triple H barely kicked out. Angle was obviously frustrated so he resorted to his ankle lock and made Triple H scream in agony. But The Game wanted the title shot at WrestleMania more than anything. He endured the pain and reached the bottom rope to break the hold. Triple H decided he had enough of this tomfoolery, so he set up Angle for the Pedigree and this time hit it! He covered Angle up and got the pinfall, and also regained the right to take on Chris Jericho at WrestleMania.

At No Way Out, Triple H fought against Kurt Angle with his WrestleMania title shot on the line. The special referee for the match was his former wife, Stephanie McMahon. Triple H launched into a heated argument with his former wife, which allowed Angle to roll him up quickly and Stephanie to start a quick count that The Game kicked out of. Shortly into the match, Angle missed a clothesline attempt and knocked Stephanie over the top rope! The referee lay unconscious on the ground outside the ring, but Triple H and Angle continued the fight. More officials came down and carried Stephanie backstage while another took over responsibility for calling the match. The Game and Angle each displayed their abilities, with each taking turns controlling the other. The Game nearly got a pin following a big spinebuster. Shortly after, a facebuster produced another pin attempt that Angle kicked out of. Angle, realizing that he was in trouble, sprang off the ropes and knocked the referee down from behind! He followed with a low blow to Triple H and an Angle Slam! Suddenly, Stephanie raced back to the ring! She began counting, but Triple H kicked out! Stephanie screamed for Angle to continue his bashing. Angle went for the ankle lock, but Triple H kicked him right into Stephanie, who again went down! Triple H managed to roll Angle up into a pin, but with two referees down, there was nobody to count! Angle picked himself up and hit a German Suplex on The Game and then brought a steel chair into play. The Game dodged a wild swing and nailed a Pedigree on Angle! Referee Tim White got to his feet and started counting, but Stephanie came alive and knocked him down and delivered a shot to the midsection! Triple H caught Stephanie and set her up for a Pedigree, but two chair shots from Angle stopped him! Angle followed with an Angle Slam and Stephanie happily slapped out a three count as her ex-husband lay broken and drooling on the mat!

On Feb 14 episode of SmackDown!, Triple H teamed up with Hardcore Champion, Maven in a main event tag match against Kurt Angle and Undertaker. As the match began, Taker and Angle focused much of their rage on Triple H, obviously looking to impress Stephanie. Soon Maven got the tag, and Taker and Angle refocused their anger towards the rookie. Maven finally tagged in Triple H, and The Game was a house afire! Triple H went for the Pedigree on Angle, but Taker hit The Game with a boot to the face. Maven then hit Angle with a missile dropkick, but was knocked over the top rope by Undertaker! Outside the ring, Taker gave Maven the Last Ride onto the announce table! In the ring, Angle hit Triple H with a series of German suplexes, but The Game powered out. Taker soon hit Angle by accident, knocking the gold medalist to the outside. The Game then went for the Pedigree on Taker, but Angle attacked him with a steel chair, ending the bout via disqualification. Angle again nailed Triple H with the chair, and Taker chokeslammed The Game. Vince then addressed Triple H, saying he had granted his daughter a special provision at No Way Out. Stephanie announced that when The Game faces Kurt Angle with his WrestleMania title shot on the line, she would be the guest referee! She then wished her husband a happy Valentine's Day, and she told Angle to hit him with a steel chair, which he did!

On Feb 11 episode of Raw, The Game was talking to Linda on the phone, saying how sorry he was she couldn't be there. She said she was sorry too. But she said she had something important to tell him. She said she'd sent him the package that Arn had given him earlier in the day. She said she didn't know who had sent it to her, but she had seen it, and she had passed it along to him. Hunter played the tape, and saw that the man who had pretended to be Stephanie's doctor last week on SmackDown! was actually an actor. The Game couldn't believe what he was seeing, and Linda said she was so sorry, and that Stephanie had been lying -- she's not pregnant! Hunter said it was unbelievable. Next up, Triple H was first to the ring, where a makeshift altar was set up, surrounded by flowers. The Game looked deep in thought as he headed to the ring, and he soon had a smile on his face. After The Game was in the ring, the sounds of "Here Comes the Bride" played in the arena, and Vince McMahon walked Stephanie down the aisle. After Stephanie had said her vow, The Game said that Stephanie's speech was beautiful, and he was overwhelmed. He said he too wanted to tell her how he felt about her. He said they'd been together for more than two years, and they'd had their ups and downs, but despite all of that, last week when she said he would be a father, it was the greatest moment of his life. He said that since that day, he had looked at her in a different way -- not just as his loving wife, but as the mother of his child. He said that when your wife is pregnant, you love her more. He said standing here tonight, he saw her in a different light again. He said tonight he saw her not just as his loving wife or the mother of his child, but he saw her for what she truly was -- a no-good lying bitch! He screamed at her, asking how she could do this to him! He asked why she had lied, accusing her of hiring an actor to play a doctor, and then faking a picture of their unborn child. Hunter said he had done some pretty bad things, but even he would not go so low. He said she disgusted him, and she cared about nothing but herself, and she never cared about him. He said she didn't have to worry about "us" any longer, because as of this moment, their marriage was over! He said they were through! Vince got in The Game's face, pushing him away -- causing Triple H to knock Mr. McMahon to the ground! He then destroyed the altar, and gave Vince a Pedigree! Stephanie got right in The Game's face, and he snapped, shoving her to the ground! He ripped the wedding ring off his finer and threw it down onto his soon-to-be ex-wife!

The Game soon set up Angle for the Pedigree, but Y2J broke it up, and accidentally dropkicked Angle! The Game went for the Pedigree on Angle, but Y2J brought a steel chair into the ring. Jericho missed The Game with the chairshot, and The Game set up Y2J for the Pedigree. But Angle gave Triple H the Angle Slam from behind -- right onto the chair! Angle gave The Game another Angle Slam onto the chair for good measure, and pinned him to win the bout!

In a rematch against Booker T on Feb 4 episode of Raw, Triple H tossed Booker T into the ring steps, and tossing him into the barricade before the match was officially started. In the ring, referee Tim White called for the bell, and the match was on, with Booker T looking to pin The Game, as he did last week on RAW. Booker soon had the advantage, and he pounded on Triple H, scoring with huge kicks to the face. Booker was about to go for the Book End, but The Game reversed into a spinebuster. The Game soon scored with a kneelift and went for the Pedigree, but Booker T battled out and went for the scissors kick. But Booker missed, and Triple H scored with the Pedigree. But as he went for the pin, Kurt Angle ran down and attacked The Game, ending the bout in a disqualification! Kurt Angle downed Triple H with the Angle Slam and left him lying. Later that night, Kurt Angle told Triple H that Mr. McMahon had informed him that Kurt and The Game would be fighting at No Way Out, and that The Game's title shot at WrestleMania would be on the line!

Steph started talking about what her father did for his company, but Triple H interrupted her and said Vince was an asshole. The Game said that after everything her father had put her through, he couldn’t understand why she still worshipped the ground he walked on. An enraged Stephanie said that her father had told her that Triple H had only married her to get into the McMahon family, but The Game said he married her in spite of her family. He said that Vince had never thought he was good enough for her, and Steph wondered if maybe her father was right. An upset Triple H then said that maybe everyone else was right about what they thought of Stephanie.

Y2J fought Rock until both men were exhausted to the point that they needed to tag in their partners. Triple H decimated Kurt Angle with a huge spinebuster and then catapulted Y2J over the top rope! Triple H hit Angle with a Pedigree and probably would have pinned him if Y2J hadn’t leapt off the top rope and disrupted the count. Rock tagged back in and came to blows with Y2J. Jericho bulldogged The Rock then grabbed the ring bell. But Y2J’s tomfoolery worked against him as he missed Rock and clocked Angle in the head with it.
