No matter what happens there are some people that just can’t cope with reality. Some people deny their faults and blame others for their set backs. No matter what goes wrong it is never their fault. After all how can they possibly be at fault? In their mind they are without blame because others are against them. The Alliance are dealing with 2 such men this Sunday. William Tremaine and Jake Finale.

Can you imagine what it is like to be so oblivious to reality that you cannot accept the simple fact that no matter how you spin it the Alliance were right. They said that Alex Seeves would interfere in their match and even attacked Seeves before the match took place as a preemptive payback. They talk about Gideon getting a steel chair. Do they ever accept the fact that Alex Seeves driving the chair into their face was the only reason that they got the pin they are so proud of? Of course not that is reality and we all know you never let the facts get in the way of a good promo.

Doing the right thing and dealing with reality is to accept the fact that you got caught cheating and got called on it. When Finale pinned Gideon that showed that they would do what ever it took to get the tag titles and that even includes use a chair to get an advantage.

Do the Alliance really need to prove they deserve the tag titles?

* Alliance wins the LWA Tag Titles. Feb 6 to Mar 10, 2000

The first time they got gold as the Alliance. It proved they were legit and took 5 men and a crooked referee to pry the titles from their hands.

* Alliance wins the Titan Wrestling Tag Titles. Oct 22, 2000 currently holds it

The next time they got Tag Gold they would hold the titles until the federation closed.

* Alliance wins the Pacific Pro Wrestling Tag Titles. June 3, 2001 currently holds it.

Together The Alliance, Black Widow (Same BW as in Core), and Sean Tylor ran the federation as Violence Incorporated. They all held gold. The tag titles were untouchable. Stephanie held the Woman’s title, The Hardcore title 2 times, and when the federation closed she left as the World champion.

* Alliance wins the New Era Wrestling Tag Titles. Nov 17, 2001 to Jan 21, 2002 when he left NEW.

They held the titles after getting them and no one could stop them. Even two of the best of the federation couldn’t defeat them. They beat the World Champion and his partner. Between the 2 men they would hold the World Title for nearly half of the time the Federation has been open. Being the best doesn’t mean saying you are the best. Being the best means you PROVE it by beating the best.

* Alliance wins the UWL Tag Titles two times. Feb 8 to April 19, 2002 and July 5 to August 2, 2002

The most violent federation in wrestling and they took gold there twice (3 times in Neil’s case). An occupied rental car being driven over by a monster truck. A man thrown out a hospital window on the second floor. 3 murders. A man’s career ended when 4 ribs were shattered. A man tossed off the top of a transport truck. The Alliance not only survived in this environment they excelled. Violence does get boring however.

* Alliance wins the New Era Wrestling Tag Titles. June 22, 2003 to July 27, 2003 and August 4, 2003 to February 2, 2004 (Titles retired)

Imagine this you are in a federation and you have been the tag champion not once not twice but three times. Undefeated 2 out of their 3 tag title reigns. There was only two men that were ever able to beat the Alliance while they were there. One of those men was Ed Gesumaria (Same Ed as in Core). We don’t have to tell you the type of wrestler Ed Gesumaria is all you have to do is ask Jantz Spalding who was the Legacy champion.

Look at the history.

Look at the credentials.

Look at the heart.

It doesn’t matter.

This is wrestling.

Guys like Finale and Willie can’t deal with reality.

In wrestling the facts never get in the way of a promo.

You can No Sell everything.

You can even No Sell the truth.

Now we come back to reality.

* Alliance wins the Core Wrestling Tag Titles. December 7, 2003 to Current.

You can deny it. You can spin it to make yourself to look better. You can say they are lucky. You can say anything you want. You can say that Finale and Willie were close to getting the tag titles.

"Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades."

Neither is applicable here. Just like the Truth in a promo by William Tremaine.

The Alliance will be at the PPV. They will face what could be their 3rd screw job in Core. Will they bitch and complain. Of course they will. Seeing the undertalented given what they have earned always bothers them but they expect it.

The Alliance is dealing with reality.

If they lose the tag belts they can always get them back. Gold unlike pride and respect can always be earned again. Somewhere along the lines Seeves, Willie, and Jake lost their pride and respect but they will settle for the tag belts even if they have to cheat to get the titles.

After all this is their Second Chance……
