Preparations or amusement

::Neil and Gideon are in a wrestling school. Neil rarely shows up to run things but the name on the lease still says "The Fracas Wrestling school". They are headed to the ring. There are 7 mimes and 5 wrestlers one is dressed like Jake Finale.::

Neil: Case you were wondering why we are here we are bored.

Gideon: On Smash we are facing the alpha mime himself Daniel Adams. Of course none of these men are Daniel Adams but lets face it with the white face and the black lipstick who can tell if they are a mime, a clown, Daniel Adams, or a back up singer for KISS.

::Wrestler 1 takes down a mime with a clothesline. The mime gets up and gets hooked with a suplex and taken to the mat.::

Neil: Hell beating up a mime is as easy as it gets. Number 2 get in the ring.

::Wrestler 2 runs at the second mime and takes him down with a spear then goes into a cross armbreaker in a fluid motion. The mime taps.::

Gideon: Excellent work Trevor. Next.

::Wrestler 3 grabs a leg and takes down the mime and locks in a knee bar. The mime taps.::

Neil: Good thing about all the Mixed Martial Arts tournaments is you actually get guys that know the difference between a Boston crab and a body slam.

Gideon: James Finale you are next.

::He enters the ring and goes at the mime with a spin wheel kick. Of course the mime ducks and James Finale hits nothing but air and the back of his head when he lands. The mime goes to check on him but he is out. Neil and Gideon are laughing their heads off.::

Neil: Another Finale that can’t beat a mime that is hilarious G.

Gideon: In case you were wondering why we were sponsoring James Finale it is a bit of a test.

Neil: I said he couldn’t get that shit over anywhere.

Gideon: And I of course being the optimist said it wasn’t the gimmick that sucked. It was merely Jake Finale. So far it is a tie.

Neil: Number 5.

::Number 5 gets into the ring. He lays out the mime with a vile looking right hook.::

Gideon: I never thought it was possible for someone to have less finesse then you Neil.

Neil: I like this guy.

::They laugh.::

Gideon: 5 wrestlers and 5 mimes. Needless to say beating up a mime is easy unless your name is Finale.

Neil: So Wrestlers 4 out of 4 and Finale impersonators 0 and 1 against mimes just like the original.

Gideon: So what did we learn?

Neil: Mimes suck and can’t take a hit.

Gideon: Notice we didn’t say anything about learning that Finale sucks. Anyone watching Core Wrestling already knows that.

Neil: Adams don’t think we are taking you lightly. We just think your gothic mime thing is a joke. Hell kid even Finale has a better gimmick.

Gideon: And when you have a worse gimmick then Finale you might as well put your bio page directly on the wrestlecrap website.

Neil: Run some drills we will be back a bit later.

::Neil and Gideon start walking away exiting the gym.::

Gideon: What a couple of weeks this has been. We go into a match with Skill and Finale. We get screwed out of the belts until Eugene Fitzpatrick reverses the screw job… Oh wait I meant "Decision".

Neil: Nah. Call em like you see em.

Gideon: This week we face a team that is competent but face it they are a throw together team at best. Neither man has much respect for the other. They are facing the best tag team in Core.

Neil: We are going to counter Adams. We are going to lock down the Arm of Mendez and rip it apart.

Neil: Two guys that have never fought together. Hell they fought each other 5 times and that isn’t even counting run ins.

Gideon: We are a team that is on our game VS a team that has never teamed up. A team that can’t trust each other VS us a team that has raised hell as a team in over 10 different federations. We have prepared for the match studying the opponents VS 2 guys that have technical skills that are spotty at best. Yet we seem to be the underdogs again.

Neil: It doesn’t matter what titles you held as a singles wrestler. It isn’t a singles match and if you go into the match thinking you can win because you used to be a Legacy champ take a look at Skill.

Gideon: Being a former Legacy didn’t give him an edge. Being a former Legacy champ never gave Adams an edge when he faced me. Why should it matter when you are facing me and Neil in a match where we are even more dangerous. You not only have to beat me you have to beat Neil as well. The list of people that has beaten us both is very very short.

Neil: Mendez throws a punch we break his arm. Mime boy tries a move we counter it. What’s left to say?

Gideon: From Adams we will likely get 3 hours of how his life is shallow and empty. The world is filled with evil yet he is beyond good and evil and other psycho babble to try and confuse us. The more he talks the more he trys to build himself up as being something more then a man. Truth of the matter is he isn’t any better then any of the others. You see to be a man you have to first be yourself. Strip away the crutches and the safety zones and stand against the challenges like a dam against a rushing torrent. The dam never wavers in its resolve because it knows what it is. Looking at our opponents you can’t help but think of Abraham and the slaves and the struggles of the Jesuits and their toils. Those that haven’t learned from the past have failed and if you fail then a little piece of you has been lost that I can rip apart. Yes the dreams are there but dreams without vision are as meaningless as a struggle against nothingness.

Neil: And this is what we have to look forward to hearing tomorrow from Adams.

Gideon: At least Mendez will be amusing. You should try that some time Daniel because it beats boring us to tears. Show some compassion for two guys that matched wits to half wits against Finale and Willie.

Neil: We are going to go in and do some training. They may be the next generation of wrestlers.

Gideon: Well except James but he can always come to Core and team up with Jake as the Finale brothers.

::They laugh and go back in the gym and the camera fades to black.::
