Neil and Gideon are ready
::Neil Fracas and Gideon Fontaine are getting ready for their singles matches in Melee. Neil is hitting the heavy bag. Gideon has a Bokken (Beautifully crafted to resemble a real samurai sword. Weighted to resemble a usable sword but without the danger of a sharp weapon. Made of select hardwood 40" long.) He is practicing with 4 other men also armed with Bokkens. Gideon notices the camera and waves with his left hand while going ito a Chinese fencing style.::
Gideon: Welcome to the reality of the situation that Mr. Warrens and Mr. Adams will soon be learning.
::Gideon goes into action he disarms the first man and takes him down with a dbl handed strike to the back of the leg with the Bokken sweeping the leg. Gideon rolls and gets to his feet in the traditional stance of the Samurai of the 1500s. He is measuring the remaining 3 guys.::
Gideon: The sword like the body is a tool of the mind. Few swordsmen become an extension of the sword.
::With a flurry of movement and blinding speed the 4 men move into action. Gideon parries, strike, evades, and with speed of over 30 years in the martial arts Gideon is dealing with all 3 men at one time. A Sword goes flying and he is down with a hard shot from the sword. Gideon grabs the other sword before it lands and starts swinging the both of them.::
Gideon: This is what my life has been since the age of 5.
::Gideon is pressuring both men. Gideon forces their swords aside and has the points of both Bokkens at the side of their necks.::
Gideon: *From Japanese "Those who cling to life die, and those who defy death live."* In the mid 1500s sengoku daimyô and Lord of Echigo Uesugi Kenshin said these very words. "Those who cling to life die, and those who defy death live.". Few understand what that truly means. IT means never accept defeat. For if you plan for defeat you have already beaten yourself.
::Neil is still working the heavy bag with pure malice. Gideon bows to all of his opponetns and goes over to where Neil is. Gideon smiles.::
Gideon: Neil and I are in the gym training. Why you may ask? Quite simple. Neil and I are not your average wrestlers. Lets talk about Mr. Warren or as you fans may know him better as Genocide.
::Neil stops punching the bag and spits on the floor in obvious disrespect.
Neil: Look at me. I ain’t going to be F#$kin around. We get in the ring and I’ll hurt you. You ain’t got to be Nostradamous to predict this match is going to be a world of hurt. You ever seen what knees from a 359 pound man that is all muscle can do to your ribs? It ain’t pretty I’ll crack your ribs and bust you up internally. I want every breath you take to remind you of me. I want to be the reason you are in constant pain and can’t sleep. I want to be the reason you are pissing blood for weeks.
Gideon: Warren. I hope you don’t mind me calling you Warren because I may be your new best friend. I am the guy who is Neil’s conscience. The voice that tells him when to stop the pain and end the match.
Neil: Nearly 80 pounds of muscle and nearly half a foot. Anyone that says size don’t matter isn’t the big guy. All that is self deluding bull shit.
Gideon: Neil has studied your style. Powerbombs aren’t a threat because Neil is too big. DDTs while they are sudden they are way to common to be a big surprise. Every single guy to ever enter a wrestling ring short of Terry Bollea does the DDT and the reason he doesn’t is he has barely managed to adequately do a passable clothesline.
Neil: Spine Buster, Piledriver, Chest breaker, and Chokeslams might be easy against the little kids but I’m not one of those throw toy bump machines. What were they called again Gideon?
Gideon: Cruiser Weights.
Neil: How you going to manhandle me punk?! I’m bigger then you. I’m stronger then you and I’m a mean vicious bastard that would end your career just to win the match because your life means nothing to me.
Gideon: Something’s gotta give. It’s the battle of the century. That Neil Fracas is a Hoss he played Football in College. Insert any one of a thousand worn out Cliches. They mean nothing. They are merely an interesting way to tell the fans what they already know. Ryan Warren is going to be hurt worse then he ever thought possible. Against a normal man he would be dangerous but against Neil Fracas he is going to end up a victim and end up lying in the ring broken and battered.
Neil: I have a new move I still haven’t got the clearance from legal to use called the Fracas Driver. (It looks like a powerbomb at first. Instead of Neil going for a snap powerbomb driving the person into the ground back first Neil converts it into a Jumping Stuff Piledriver. The impact is sickening to watch and can break a neck. This is a move created out of pure rage and total disregard for a person's health.)
Gideon: When you have to get permission from a lawyer to use a move you know it isn’t something that is going to be too healthy for the victim of it. Now for the next man we are obligated to spend some time on going by the name of Daniel Adams.
Neil: Looks like the he is out of a grunge Kabuki play.
Gideon: We could talk about his wrestling skill but does that even matter. Let’s describe the match. I am a martial artist. I have knocked people out professionally as well as a hobby. Give a striker a strike and the match is over before he gets in grapple range.
Neil: Shoot for the leg and eat a knee. Block the kick and get the other leg in the face. Block a right and the left floors you.
Gideon: That would be boring so I think I’ll give you a fighting chance. I will lock a limb. Which will you lead with a leg or an arm. If it is an arm it can be over before the ring announcer sits down.
Neil: Gideon can break a limb down using wrestling or moves from Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, or Aikido.
Gideon: Imagine the ways I can break an armdown. There are 89 different armbars. 132 different moves focusing on the knees and ankle. I prefer the submission win because I get to hear the opponent say he loses. When the opponent taps there is no doubt who won the match. There is no bellyaching about fast counts.
Neil: You talk a good game. Hell I’ve seen your work. Don’t mean shit in the ring.
Gideon: Are you going to talk about complacency some more about how some people accept their roles in life and never try and take them further and leaving their precious comfort zones? Talk is good it shows that you are an intelligent wrestler and worthy of being in the ring with me. Sadly there is the physical aspect of this game and while you are good you are way out of your league.
Neil: Ever face a guy that knows your moves better then you do?
Gideon: I take hours to prepare. I watch the tapes and I pick up on the body motions as you go for a move. I learn how you think and how you tense up when you plan your next move. When I know what you are going to do before you even do it the match is already over. How can you beat me if I prevent you from getting in any offence before I lock a limb or sink in a choke.
Neil: Old football saying is that it is the defense that wins the game.
Gideon: It isn’t completely true. When you have a defense as good as mine it doesn’t mean you win. It just means that you will not lose. You still have to win and sooner or later the opportunity will be there. Adams and Warren we are coming Sunday night Smash. Don’t expect any miracles. In that ring we are the only gods that matter and on Sunday we prove why.
Neil: Now we are going to do some more training. I’m going to hurt Warren real bad.
Gideon: We are done now. Soon our wins will be official.
