Stacy has security stop Edge as he's heading towards the exit,
fearing he may be defecting to RAW.
Edge assures Steph that he's Smackdown through and through,
and promises to beat Jericho's ass in the cage match later in the show.
Edge comes out for his long awaited match with Jericho,
which Steph turned into a cage match at the start of the show.
This is another Main Event match for Edge!
Edge and Jericho lock horns in a steel cage.
Jericho grinds Edge's face against the steel mesh.
Edge and Jericho battle back and forth,
the control changing sides several times.
Edge nearly gets the pins,
but somehow Jericho, though exhausted, manages to kick out
Jericho delivers a bulldog off the tops rope;
later, Edge drops Jericho backwards from the top of the cage.
While Jericho is crawling slowly towards the open cage door,
Edge scales the cage and tumbles onto the floor,
winning the match!
Edge is bloody and exhausted, but still proud and victorious!
After Edge's victory, Jericho and the Anti-Americans beat on him,
until John Cena and Rey Mysterio show up to save Edge.
Edge, Cena and Rey stand tall as this episode of Smackdown comes to
an end.
