DECEMBER 3-4 Our 2004-2005 Season kicked off with the East Lake Invitational. East Lake finished third out of 17 teams, dramatically better than the previous years performance. 3 wrestlers made it to the finals and 5 made it to the cosolation-finals. Despite finishing third, East Lake coach Chris Waite said he wasn't entirely happy.
"It was a good way to start the season, I guess," he said. "I mean, Venice is tough. Southridge is tough. But at the risk of sounding arrogant because there were a lot of great teams here, I thought we would do better."
