Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
--Kahlil Gibran

***The scene opens with a shot of the sky.  The clouds move through out the sky heading towards only god knows where.  The sun shines bright over the earth only fading moment to moment by passing clouds.  Slowly the scene moves downward upon the earth and a shot at a big office building.  On the side of the building a sign is placed near the top edge.  The words “Q-94.5 The Rock!” glows bright red from the sign as the scene moves closer to the building.***

***FLASH***

***The scene moves into the office building.  Quickly it moves up and down hallways, passing room after room until finally coming to a stop right in front of a room with walls of glass.  In side the room we can see a man and a woman sitting down next to what seems to be radio equipment.  Over there heads hanging on the way we see a red light sign which reads, “On-Air”.  Suddenly the light comes on and the man starts to speak.***

BROCK:  Hello wrestling fans I’m Matt Brock and to my left is always the lovely Lisa Hunter.  And to the right of me the man of the hour John Murphy.

MURPHY:  That be me.

HUNTER:  Yes sir.

BROCK:  Today were going to be doing an exclusive with a top-wrestling name in the world.  He’ll be joining us shortly.  But before he enters the building let me run down his history real quick.

***Brock pulls out a piece of paper and lays in on the desk in front of him.***

BROCK: Since his arrival in the SWF a few months ago, David Dunn has been over shadowed by the company he keeps.  He left for a brief period of time then made he’s return in a big way.

MURPHY:  Those days of being overlooked are now a distant memory.  Today, David Dunn is arguably the most powerful competitor in the SWF.  Siding with Chris Carey, the president of the SWF, then beating both Chris and Strick Carrington in a time span of one week.  Sadly after his match with Chris, he was badly burned.  Today they let him out of the hospital and has agreed to come on the show.  He isn’t ready to return to the ring just yet but he will very soon.

BROCK:  We have just been informed that David Dunn has entered the building.  I guess we’ll sit down with him right after this commercial.

***Brock pushes a button on a electrical consol.  The red light goes off.***

BROCK:  So what do you think Lisa?

HUNTER:  About what?

BROCK:  You know about interviewing David today.

HUNTER:  Well just have that censer button ready that’s all I can say.  He’s a loose canon you know that.

BROCK:  After the S.I. pay per view I bet he is.  I’m still wondering how he got out of the hospital.  For what I understood he was barely able to walk.  It makes no since to me at all.

MURPHY:  Most things about Dunn don’t make any since.  Same goes for the rest of his family.

HUNTER:  Oh shit.  Look who’s walking up to the door.

***A man wearing black jeans with a white T-shirt, and a dark pair of sunglasses.  The man slowly walks into the room and carefully sits down at an empty seat next to Brock and Hunter.  The man puts on a set of headphones.  He then takes off his sunglasses and places them next to Hunter.  We now know the man is none other than David Dunn.***

BROCK:  Hello David.

***The red light comes on in the studio.***

BROCK:  And were back.  Now in the studio is SWF wrestler David Dunn.

DUNN:  I see the whole gang came out of this little conversation.  Murphy, I’m glad you brought some new faces for once.  I was getting tired of talking to you every time one of your friends wanted a autograph.  And Lisa Hunter, no less.  You know, Lisa, if I weren’t a happily married man, I might suggest you and I meet for a more personal one-on-one.

HUNTER:  And if I weren’t being paid to be here, I wouldn’t be caught dead talking to you.

DUNN:  Ouch.  Murphy, you never told me she had claws.

MURPHY:  You should catch her on her lunch break.

BROCK:  Okay, it’s obvious that I’m the one who’s gonna have to get down to business.  David, you’ve proven to me that you are a legitimate threat to the SWF title based on your own physical abilities.

MURPHY:  As well as your mental abilities.

HUNTER:  HA!  That’s just another way of putting he’s the world’s best back stabber.

DUNN:  Watch it.

BROCK:  Okay, okay, be nice you two.

MURPHY:  You have all this going for you David, then Strick Carrington attacks you from behind after a match that had to be one of the best I’ve ever seen.  Attacking you wasn’t enough for him.  He had to set fire to you.  What’s your feeling on this whole ordeal?

DUNN:  He didn’t use a condom.

BROCK:  Meaning what?

DUNN:  Meaning that the stupid son of a b(BEEP)h f(BEEP)ked me.  He bent me over and shoved his f(BEEP)king c(BEEP)k up my ass.  You know the sad fact is that he didn’t have the balls to face me one on one again.  I beat his ass a week before the pay per view.  I told everyone I was going to be the one person that beat both Carrington brothers in a time span of one week.  I did what I said I was going to do.  Strick flipped.  He came down and did something I’ve been paying for, ever since.  It’s been almost three weeks.  Three f(BEEP)king weeks of my life gone because he was afraid of me.  He’s just a sad person and he’s going to get what’s coming to him.

BROCK:  Okay what about Wilson your son.  Word is that he is going to be taking over for you until your able to return.  What’s your feelings about that?

DUNN:  Wilson is my son.  I love him like a father should.  But he doesn’t have the skills or the years to be in that ring with the likes of Stone and Strick.  I do respect him for trying though.  I’ve asked him to be the DH’s manager.  Now a lot of people might have a problem with that seeing he’s my son…and the biggest faggot in the world today.  HA!

MURPHY:  I got one for you David.  Why did you throw Chris off the chamber after your match?  Huh?  You won the match, you did what you wanted to.  Why throw Chris Carrington off that damn top level?  You could have killed him.

DUNN:  Look I said going in I was going to open Chris’s eyes to the reality of all things.  I did just that.  I took him to the limit more than any other person ever did.  When the match ended it wasn’t over.  He’s lesson wasn’t finished just yet.  So I showed him the true meaning of that chamber.  You’ll go up.  Then you’ll go straight down.

HUNTER:  As much as I want to be professional and conduct this interview from an objective standpoint, but…

BROCK:  Here we go.

HUNTER:  …you make me sick, Dunn.  How dare you destroy people’s lives to try to get yourself over?  What you’ve done is the most despicable thing I’ve ever seen in this business, and I’ve seen just about everything.  Then you go and try to come up with some justification for what you’ve done.

DUNN:  Mee-ow!  What did you prefer, when I nearly crushed Chris Carrington’s throat with the help of a guardrail, or when I nailed Strick with bass knuckles?

HUNTER:  Your such an as(BEEP)le you know that.

MURPHY:  Moving right along…Disposable Heroes…the stable you started to battle against Strick and Chris….

DUNN:  Hold on there.  I didn’t start a stable to “battle” Strick and Chris.  I called up a group of men that wanted to join the SWF.  A group of men that feel the same way I do for this business.  Were after the Carrington’s that’s true.  But that’s not the whole story.  Were after any one who gets in our way.  Strick and Chris just happen to be the first two men that have.

MURPHY:  You say that now, but it seems Fyne and Brody are the other active people in this group.  Your out still with those burns.  Then when you return can you really see your self being at the same level you before the barbeque?

DUNN:  Look I’ll be back better than ever.  Trust me.  I can go all night if I need be.

***David looks over to Lisa.***

DUNN:  Just ask Jeannette if you don’t believe me, Lisa.

HUNTER:  That’s it!  Guys, you’re going to have to finish this up without me.

***Lisa Hunter abruptly leaves the room.  David laughs for several seconds before regaining his composure.***

MURPHY:  You’re a big hit with the ladies, David.  Any ways, the way I see it, you’re still on a collision course with Strick.  The two of you have had some real battles over the past few months.  How do you plan on gaining the upper hand?

DUNN:  Well first thing is for me to get back into the ring.  Wilson will do okay but he’s not going to be able to stand up against a guy like Strick.  Yet, when I do return…it’s going to be fun.  For me.  Strick has no idea what’s in store for him.  I hate to steal one of HBK lines but, “Don’t hunt, what you can’t kill.”

MURPHY:  Some people say that he’s going to kill you next time you step into the ring with him.

DUNN:  Accuse me?

MURPHY:  Um…well all I said was…

DUNN:  I heard what you said.  How dare you say that “some people say” shut the f(BEEP)k up.  When I come back Strick is f(BEEP)king dead.  PERIOD!  I thought I made that clear already?  I guess not.  Maybe you boys should take the condoms from your ears and place them where they belong…you would never use them but hey you’d always be ready.

BROCK:  Now your pissing me off David.

DUNN:  Oh shut the hell up Brock.

MURPHY:  I can see were almost out of time David.  Any thing you would like to say to wrap this thing up.

DUNN:  As a matter of fact I do.  When my career ends, and that isn’t going to be fore a damn long time, there are two things people will remember me for.  One being a person that was the biggest as(BEEP)le in the world.  And the other being that I always kept my word and did what I said I was going to do.

***Wilson walks to the door outside of the studio room and knocks on the window.  David looks back and nods his head.***

DUNN:  I got to go.  My son’s giving me a lift home seeing how the doctors said I couldn’t drive for a while.

BROCK:  I guess with that all I have to say is…

DUNN:  Shut up.

***David throws the headphones off, grabs his glasses off the desk and slowly walks out of the room.  Brock and Murphy talk to one another about what they have just heard.***

***FLASH***

***The scene reopens with Wilson helping David to the parking lot.  Wilson looks over to David and shakes his head at him.***

WILSON:  The biggest faggot in the world?

DUNN:  I was kidding.

WILSON:  Yeah right.

DUNN:  Look about Adrenaline.  If you want to back out now then it’s cool.  I’m sure Fyne can pull double duty.

***Wilson stops and looks at David with a shocked look on his face.***

WILSON:  WHAT?!  I don’t think so.  I said I was going to do it and I damn well meant it.

DUNN:  It’s not about keeping your word.  It’s about what Stone, Chris, Strick, and that other fuck up might do to you.  Brody can hold his own against any one.  He told me that very clearly when he saw me in the hospital yesterday.  He did have the same worries about you though.

WILSON:  I don’t want to listen to this.

DUNN:  Oh but you are.  This isn’t a game Wilson.  You can’t just go out there and do poorly then hit reset and try to do better the next time around.  Because with people like Strick and Stone it’s either kill or be killed.  Strick wants blood.  He took me out and he would like nothing better than to take my son out.  Are you listening to me?

***Wilson turns away from his father.***

WILSON:  Yeah…

DUNN:  You damn well better be.  Hurt or not I’ll kick your ass.

WILSON:  I’d like to see you try.

DUNN:  Oh really?

***David pushes off Wilson and gets into his face.***

DUNN:  You really want me to?

WILSON:  Get out…

***Wilson pushes David to the ground.***

WILSON:  …of my face.

***David closes his eyes.  He’s teeth are grinding against one another.  David seems to be in lots of pain.  Wilson shakes his head and picks David off the ground.  David looks at Wilson and doesn’t say a word to him.  Wilson helps David to his car.  He unlocks the side door and helps David in.  The whole time David isn’t even looking at him.  Wilson unlocks the other side and gets in.  Wilson is about to start the car when he looks back at his father.***

WILSON:  You okay?

DUNN:  I’ll be fine.

WILSON:  Look I’m so…

DUNN:  Don’t say your sorry.  I had it coming.

***David turns his head towards his window looking away from Wilson.***

DUNN:  Just take me home.

***Wilson starts the car and drives off.  The scene fades to black.***
