GZ:Can I help you? I'm trying to walk here.
Kid 1:If you have a moment sir may we have an autograph we have been waiting for you and the other TpS superstars for a while.
(Ground Zero looks back at the boo'ing fans and then at the kids. He pauses for a moment and then signs both of their programs for tonights event and walks away. We then cut to the inside of the arena where Mark Madden and JR are sitting. JR begins to speak.)
JR:Did you see that Mark? Ground Zero never signs autographs. I mean he is known for being one of the most hated men in wrestling. Is this the "new" Ground Zero we've heard rumors about?
Madden:Well those internet sites have been saying that Ground Zero is apparently changing his manor. I thought it was bull to be honest but that may be a sign JR. Say it isn't so!
JR:I damn well hope it's so. Ground Zero is a tremendous athlete but that arrogance and thinking he is better than everybody has hurt him plenty in his career.
Madden:I'll tell you what will hurt him JR, if he starts playing to these fools. Hopefully Ground Zero just didn't want to get heckled by those fans out there. They can be crazy JR.
(After a preliminary match "IronMan" by Ozzy Osbourne hits over the PA system and Ground Zero walks out onto the ramp wearing sunglasses, a Ground Zero t-shirt with ripped sleaves and jeans. Ground Zero has a bottle of water with him and takes a sip before throwing the bottle into the crowd as he walks down the ramp to boo's from the fans with the occassional cheer here and there. Ground Zero then climbs into the ring and stands on the middle rope in the corner and raises his arms in the air (Steve Austin-like),he then gets down and grabs a mic from the ring announcer. He raises the mic to his lips but before he speaks a wave of boo's are heard.)
GZ:Shut Up and listen...
(Fans boo.)
Madden:YES!! The old Ground Zero is here!!
GZ:....Please. (Laughs)
Madden:WHAT!?!
JR:HA-HA!
GZ:Thank you. Now then I am sure you all have heard my promo earlier in the week about my match tonight with Cyrix Van Gore. You all know the history and all that junk between us two so I don't plan to bore you with that again. But I can talk about whatever I want and you have to listen right?
(Fans boo as Ground Zero begins to laugh a bit.)
GZ:I kid. I kid. But seriously tonight is a big night. Not only is this the first TpS show in sometime and may I say, what better place than Atlanta,Georgia right?
(Fans cheer)
GZ:Cheap pop, I know. But really it is a pleasure to be in this...place. Now then, Cyrix has yet to really promote this match between us two and to be honest it bothers me a bit. I mean it is not like Cyrix not to promote a match, especially of this calliber. But I have to respect him. Maybe he wants to do all his talking in the ring. Or maybe, just maybe he know he can't hang in the ring with me anymore and doesn't want to look like a fool talking all sorts of trash and not backing it up. But I digress, (Laughs) a little tribute to my "good friend"Sean Randolph but let's move on. Either way tonight I am sure Cyrix will bring his "A" game to the table as he always does and we will put on a heck of a preformance.
GZ:Anyway just wanted to come out here and say my piece and maybe pay my last respects to Cyrix Van Gore. Now i'm not one to talk smack but after I beat Cyrix tonight in this ring it might be his final match because I am going all out tonight to prove my point that Ground Zero is back and will soon be the Global champion and if I have to tear Cyrix Van Gore limb for limb I will do it. But hey enjoy the show.
("Ironman" hits again and Ground Zero hands the mic back to the ring announcer and begins to head towards the backstage area as the announcers begin to talk about what just happened.)
JR:Was that weird or what? Ground Zero seems like a split personality. One minute he is acting like a nice enough guy and the next he is ribbing the fans or threatening to end Cyrix's career.
Madden:I like that second Ground Zero better. But your right it does seem a little weird. We'll just have to see how this plays out.
JR:For the first time you are absolutely right. We will just have to wait and see. Now we are just about to kick off our first show so let's head to ringside.)
