  • Don't know anything about wrestling?

Here's a little dictionary of the terms used in the story.

Face: A good guy. Cheered by the crowd.

Heel: A bad guy. Booed by the crowd.

Neutral: Neither good nor bad. Gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.

The crowd don't always cheer for the good guy. So these categories aren't really strict. And the Faces don't always fight with the Heels. It depends.

Federation: The wrestling company. In Real-Life, the most popular federation is the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).

OWF: Orphans Wrestling Foundation. The federation in which the story takes place.

Feud: A rivalry between two or more wrestlers/divas.

Diva: A female who can either fight or just be the manager of a wrestler.

Announcers: Or commentators. They comment the matches during the broadcast. Only people watching the show at home hear their commentaries.

Commissioner: The person assisting the General Manager. A commissioner usually book matches and makes sure everything is under control.

General Manager: The delegated boss of the federation. He takes care of the general running of the company (advertising, finding new talents, in charge of the roster, etc).

Owner: Self-explanatory. The owner of the company.

Getting a push: Getting very good matches and be in main events. Usually title matches.

Pinfall: When your opponent is lying on the ring (on his back), you cover him and if the ref is able to count the three count, then you win. That's how you usually win a match.

No DQ: No disqualification matches. In these types of matches, you can use a weapon to hit your opponent or you can have your friends come and help you out.

Special matches: These matches are usually exceptional matches where you don't always win by pinfall, submission or countout. Examples of special matches; "Cage match" (you must escape the cage in order to win), "Hardcore match" (No DQ and you can pin your opponent anywhere), "First blood match" (the first to bleed loses the match) and more. - There will be explanations when special matches are used in the story -
