(The scene opens at Times Square in New York City. Traffic is still running amuck as the 10 o’clock hour comes to pass. The sky is pitch black and covered by clouds, but you wouldn’t tell that with all the lights that are flashing. Among the traffic is a red Cadillac Convertible. In this car there are three people. Canadian Crippler, the Number One Contender to the ICW Hardcore Title who is behind the drivers wheel wearing a pair of denim jeans, an I Am Canadian T-Shirt and a pair of Oakley’s sunglasses. TK Williams, potentially the next Number One Contender to the ICW Internet Title is riding shotgun right next to him and is seen wearing a Purgatory T-Shirt and a pair of beige shorts and finally Max Powers is sitting on the top of the car with his feet on the back seat. He has a black muscle shirt and a pair of black tear away pants.)

Max Powers: Guys did I tell you or what. There aint nothing like cruising down New York City on a summer night like tonight. This is your last blast of summer, enjoy it guys.

Canadian Crippler: Hell man I’m not going to deny it, as great as Canada is there isn’t a city that’s like this at night. Niagara Falls is like this on a couple streets but not the whole damn city.

TK Williams: I’ve lived in this neck of the woods for a long time and it still amazes me how big bright and loud this city is. There aint another city like it on the planet.

Canadian Crippler: Hey not to drag this whole thing down but shouldn’t we be using this time to train? That and this whole deal, the convertible and all are going to cost us a bit.

Max Powers: Crippler don’t worry about it. You said it yourself this night is going to be the defining moment of Purgatory, it’s all right to spurge every now and then, especially in New York City.

TK Williams: Yeah and Crippler don’t worry about training. There’s plenty of time for that and on top of that X-Convict isn’t going to be getting much of that this week, as I’m sure you’ve heard.

Canadian Crippler: Yeah I heard that he was going to be out of town until Saturday. His girl’s going under the knife and he’s going to be there to comfort her like a gentleman. I can’t personally say I blame him, I’d probably do the same thing, but that doesn’t mean that I’m going to go easy on him. I’m sure he knows that and I know you two know that.

Max Powers: Don’t be afraid to give him hell. I didn’t become a four-time ICW Champion by giving people a break. You need to go full tilt all match every match or else you wont get much farther than you are right now and you and I both know that that isn’t where you want to be.

TK Williams: Same goes with every fight in life, you can’t pussy foot around it or else your going to end up with a lot of losses in everything you do. You may not like it like that, but that’s the way life is Crippler and you need to learn to live with that.

Canadian Crippler: All right don’t worry about it guys this guy is going to have a hell of a night. X-Convict is going to burn on Sunday and he knows it. I’m going to get a table put it in the ring, set it up, light it on fire and give him my patented Canadian Ice Breaker right through it. That prejudice bastard will have no idea what hit him. Then I’m going to go over to the ref, he’s going to raise my hand, and declare me as a two-time ICW Hardcore Champion. X-Convict’s win will be just a blotch in my Hardcore Title dominance.

Max Powers: I’m surprised that you’re putting so much into this match Crippler and not so much just to prove you can beat X-Convict after he beat you a couple weeks ago on Riot, it seems more that you just want to win that Hardcore Title.

Canadian Crippler: Yeah so?

Max Powers: Well not a lot of people consider that title to have much in terms of prestige or history.

Canadian Crippler: I’ve heard that from everybody I’ve come across since I became a serious contender in the Hardcore Title race. Well quite frankly there are a lot of people that have won the Hardcore Title to go on to the World Title. Maybe you’ve heard of some of them. Do names like Rage, Patrick Webster, Jonn Leynard, Chairsman, Joker, El Oso, Shanghai Kid, Maniac Miller, and Jose. Each of these former World Champions have also been the Hardcore Champion at one point or another, so it isn’t like anyone that has the Hardcore Title is destined to be a worthless afterthought. I feel that I’m going to be joining that group as I am going to become a future ICW World Heavyweight Champion, but before I win that title, it’s going to go to you Max.

Max Powers: You still got a while to go still Crippler but I can see it in you, and you too TK, you both have the look, the mould, the teachings and the talent to win the title one of these days. Hell I can imagine in the not so distant future I can see the two of you main-eventing WrestleRage.

TK Williams: Thanks man it’s real flattering to hear that from an ICW hall-of-famer like you Max.

Max Powers: Don’t mention it man. I just call them as I see them and I see you two as the wave of the future, you guys got the heart, I can’t wait to see how well you guys turn out. I’m pretty sure that you two are in for a bright future.

Canadian Crippler: Max your getting a little ahead of yourself. For now I’m just concerned about the Hardcore Title and I’m pretty sure TK is just worried about Mark Blackwood and getting a shot at the Internet Title at the moment.

TK Williams: Well I don’t think worried would be the word to use. I mean yes I’m concentrating Mark Blackwood but I’m definitely not worried. This match is going to be a cakewalk for me. This match is going to be one of the easiest ones I’ve had in quite some time.

Max Powers: Hey don’t get too overconfident. You know that you’re going to lose every now and then, just don’t let it be because you underestimate your opponent and let him pull one over on you, that is the single worst thing that you can have happen to you man.

Canadian Crippler: I can say with all honesty that I’ve never lost a wrestling match because of that, I’ve been overmatched before and I’m willing to admit when that happens, as hard as it is to do. It really sucks to say your opponent was better than you.

Max Powers: I’m not underestimating Madison. When you’re in the main event you can not make one mistake, no matter how small or obscure, the little things can cost you big time in the big moments of the big matches.

Canadian Crippler: Hey guys I think we’ve passed through all of where we wanted to be, I think it’s time we pick up some chicks. Max, rap this thing up.

Max Powers (looking directly into the camera): People from here on out we can’t show you everything we do so until next time bye.

(Max Powers reaches behind the camera and flicks the switch to turn the camera off. End Scene.)
