How did you first get interested and associated with backyard wrestling?

Well like many, I've been watching wrestling for what seems like, forever. The first time I ever watched was when the Macho Man Randy Savage won the WWF Title at Wrestlemania 4...and I was hooked from then on. Then in 1999, me and my friend started immatating moves from tv like we weren't supposed too...but eventually, we learned to take it seriously and began a backyard wrestling fed and have been backyard wrestling for coming on 4 years this March.

Do you feel backyard wrestling has to be hardcore, or have plenty of high-risk spots to be entertaining? (and why)

The High-risk spot has always been important to me and same with hardcore..that seems to get everyone going alot..people like to drop their jaw after seeing something incredible happen..so they keep wanting more...and you gotta keep providing more..so both are very important in my mind for entertaining.

What do your parents and family think of you backyard wrestling?

My mom hates wrestling and so does my g/f and they're so worried that I'm gonna kill myself one of these days or be paralyzed after the moves I do...all I do is just promise them, that I do what I can not to get hurt by practising and getting to know more about wrestling day by day..cuz there's always that danger factor.

Describe the gimmick you use:

I've always been the softspoken guy who just lets his actions speak for his words..but right now I have my first GOOD gimmick..I have no friends, you either hate me or you don't..I'm pretty much the rebel and self-proclaimed tough guy of the fed and you can't trust me EVER..the minute you think I'm your friend, I'll knock you on your ass to get to the top.

What do you feel are the three most important parts in making a backyard wrestling match work?

Well, I think chemistry between the two guys wrestling is the most important. If they know each other well and are the same size wize or even NOT..as long as they are almost the same wrestling wise or at least style wise..enough to put a more special match then with somebody else than that person. Taking it seriously is also an important part to me..because I feel if you don't take it seriously enough you have a better chance of getting hurt, and nobody wants that. The third would have to be the pace of the match..not executing the same moves over and over..giving the crowd something to work with and enjoy so they wonder whats next, instead of "Oh gee, that sure looked as if they just did that".

Why has backyard wrestling became so popular?

Wrestling has gotten so popular over the years...and when you see legends like Foley and Flair with all this glory and passion for the sport, you can't help, but want to do it and feel it yourself and so you try..and many people have..and thats why I think it's become so popular..for younger teens and lovers of wrestling to show their love for it as well.

In your opinion, what will happen to backyard wrestling in the next few years?

I'm hoping it will be bigger then it is now! and I believe it will be..because backyard wrestling is here to stay and someday it might even be able to top good ole' Vinny Mac...it would be nice..you can't kill so many kids with a passion for wrestling.

Closing statements

I hope to God this message gets to BYW INC. My career is coming to end slowly I believe..my body is wearing and tearing and my dream is to make it on the best of backyard wrestling video tape..I will be sending in some of my fed's best footage and I hope you choose it...because then all the stupid ass fuckers who thought I was a phony will see that I'm not. :)
