As the only son of sports entertainment's creator Vince McMahon, some might argue that Shane McMahon's profession was pre-determined. Having grown up surrounded by wrestling's legends, it seemed only natural for Shane to become involved in the "family business". Humble beginnings srtting up the ring before events and cleaning up the arena afterwards kept a young Shane's feet firmly on the ground. Always athletic in school, Shane's wrestling career seemed iminent. His biggest distraction was his eye for the ladies, something that would continue to distract him for many years. With only a few title reigns to boast of, Shane seemed more interested in accumulating notches on his bedpost than winning matches but even that, coupled with his 'cockier-than-thou' attitude didn't stop him from succeeding in wrestling. Although he has never been one to take himself seriouisly, his in-ring skills are undeniable and have only improved during his time in BWF. Starting off slowly, Shane's career really took off when he was reunited with his unrequited love, Julie Peyton. Within weeks they were married and have gone from strength to strength ever since, in both their careers and their marriage. Shane and Julie are still huge fan favorites and are without a doubt the best couple the BWF has to offer.
