Both men had more than the title to fight for, as Rage wants to take out his frustration for his wife in hospital and Vengeance wants to hurt his sister's husband for what she did to Trish. Both men exchanged killer blows, the advantage switched frequently throughout. Rage proved exactly why he is the "Main Event" as he singled out Vengeance's back and knees, knowing the young superstar was still weak following his recent hospital stay. Vengeance battled bravely but in the end, could not withstand the pain he suffered at the hands of Rage. After feeling the effects of a Raging Fury, Vengeance is covered for the 1,2,3. Having given 100%, Vengeance has nothing to be ashamed of. Rage is awarded his brand new title belt and declared the first BWF World Champion. As he celebrates his title win, Kristen Parker appears at the top of the ramp. She walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring, helping up a hurt Vengeance.
