Grudge Match/#1 Contendership for Womens' Title
Summary: With so many personal issues between these two women, this match was eagerly anticipated. The divas waste no time in locking up, both had waited long enough to get their hands on the other. Torrie, although visibly more determined and collected compared to Raw, was no match for Julie's technical skills. The former Miss USA took the Playboy covergirl to the proverbial woodshed before grabbing Torrie and performing The Peyton Effect and winning herself a shot at the Womens' title. As she celebrates in the ring, Rogue runs down the ramp and circles the ring, being careful not to let Julie spot her. She stalks the number one contender and soon slips into the ring behind Julie, who is still unaware of the Womens' Champions' presence. Before Rogue can get her hands on Julie, Shane McMahon jumps the barricade and runs around the ring. He grabs Julie's feet and drags her to the outside. Although confused, she doesn't fight as he pulls her from the ring and out of harm's way.

As promised earlier by Stephanie McMahon, JR and King prepare to connect with the medical facility currently caring for BWF Superstar, The Crow. As the hospital room appears, it is clearly seen that the room is empty. JR and King exchange looks of confusion as an orderly enters the room. JR gets their attention and they explain that The Crow had indeed been a patient in this room but had actually discharged himself a few days ago. As JR remarked, why would a man with a broken neck discharge himself from hospital just days after his injury?

World Title Match (Special Referee: Fury)
Summary: This was a respectful competition from the outset. Shane McMahon's outstretched hand, accepted by Rage proved a crowd pleaser. The pair had professed respect for each other before tonight and both had promised to put on an amazing show. However before the match could even start there was controversy. Stephanie McMahon's appointed special referee, Fury, was removed from the match by order of the fifth mystery board member, much to Stephanie's annoyance. As the fifth board member was also responsible for re-instating Trish Stratus as President, he or she had obviously made this decision to help Shane McMahon, who Stephanie had stacked the odds against. It was an even enough bout where each man was able to take control. The two men brawled back and forth for the best part of 45 minutes, making it the longest match the BWF has seen so far. As Rage gathered momentum, Shane would hit a high flying maneuvre to stop him in his tracks. With the fans on their feet, cheering wildly for their underdog, Shane came alive and unleashed an array of exciting mat-based moves to thrill the fans and keep Rage down. After hitting the Shooting Star, Shane goes for Leap of Faith. He quickly grabs Rage's leg, going for the cover. 1 ... 2 ... 3! The referee helps Shane to his feet and raises his arm as Shane looks on in confusion. He had just won the World Heavyweight title! As he is handed the belt, Countdown and Fury run down to the ring as Stephanie McMahon, flanked by Team Angle, appears on stage. Countdown and Fury are armed with steel chairs and make quick work of dismantling Shane. As they attack the new champion, T&A also make an appearance. Running down to the aid of their friend, they are able to fend off Countdown and Fury while Julie Peyton also comes to ringside, checking on Shane in the ring. As Countdown and Fury retreat up the ramp to their leader, Stephanie raises a microphone to her lips and begins to speak.
Stephanie McMahon: Julie, I suggest you get out of the ring and pronto. I wouldn't want you getting hurt tonight. Shane, it's like I told you. You have a lesson to learn. Now I tried to show you the easy way, I tried to tell you so many times. But it looks like you're going to have to learn it the hard way. I didn't see a three count. Charlie, Shelton? Did either of you see a three count?
Team Angle: No, great leader.
Stephanie McMahon: Well in that case, Earl Hebner, I order this match to continue!
Knowing he would lose his job if he didn't comply, Hebner has no choice but to officially continue the match. T&A pull Julie out of the ring as the beautiful diva seems unwilling to leave her friend alone with Rage. They hold onto her on the outside, for her own safety, as Rage has managed to catch his breath. He picks up the limp body of Shane McMahon and sets him up for the Raining Pain. Afterwards he goes for the cover and Hebner reluctantly counts. Rage is still World Heavyweight Champion thanks to Stephanie McMahon!
Winner: Rage
