**The scene opens in the sold out Hartford civic Center in Hartford Connecticut. The camera man is in the center of the arena as the Thousands of World Wrestling Federation two thousand and two fans are chanting for there favourite Superstar. After a few seconds the arena goes dark as Brock Lesnars Music Blares over the PA system and he makes his way to the ring**

**Brock then Picks up the microphone and begins to speak about his upcoming Match on Smackdown**

Brock Lesnar:Well Fresh from Wrestlemania comes Lesnar getting Ready for his first singles match since before The PPV, live from Hartford Connecticut comes Smackdown the greatest Show in the WWF2K3. Seen as i havent had much of a chance to speak about Wrestlemania since it took the air i am going to take one moment now and recap Wrestlemania in The Next Big Thigns View. Wrestlemania what a great night it was we had a new Smackdown Heavyweight Champion crowned in The Rock, and we Smackdown have a new GM in Vince Russo and we also have a new TV champion in The Cat after I helped him defeat Kurt Angle what more could you ask for, a new GM to boost the rating sand Kurt Angle without the TV title in my eyes Wrestlemania was a success. Now our new GM has already made a big impact by introducing a new Title to Smackdown known as the US Title which stands on the same ground as Raws Intercontinental Championship, and to decide the Champion we have a tournament taking place which will end at Backlash and crowning the first Smackdown US champion and who better to have in the running than Brock lesnar.

Now on Smackdown i will face Big Pumpa Freak Stone Scott Stiener in the first round of the Tournament, and he beter be ready for the best to come of Brock Lesnar. As of lately i have not been at my best in singles competition but starting on Smackdown and continuing until i am finished my career i am going to show everyone what i am really made of and can accomplish, and on Smackdown i am going to do just that and i am going to make Sott Steiner look like a weakling compared to me and i am going to watch Vince Russo Fire his ass when he can't wrestle to his standards because i aint going to let him. Now Steiner i have come so close over the past few months on claiming a championship but i always seem to get screwed out of the title some how, for example i had the number one contender spot won for the TV title until Angle attacked me and screwed me over that spot at Wrestlemania but this time it is going to be different because i am going to go the whole F'N way and become the First US champion on Smackdown. Now Steiner i am more experienced than you are and i am way more talented than you so i have something that you don't and that is a chance of becoming the Champ.

**Lesnar then drops the microphone in the middle ring and poses once again to his 20,000 screamin fans**

**The Next Big Thing then slides out of the ring and heads up the ramp back to his locker room**

The scene opens in the back of the arena later in the night as we see Smackdown's greatest Interviewer, Funaki interviewer walking about trying to find an interview with some of the superstars. He then see's Brock Lesnar walking down the halls of the arena, Funaki approaches him.

~Funaki~: Brock May i speak with you about your matchup against Scott Steiner tonight?

~Brock Lesnar~: yeah but make it quick.

~Funaki~: ok, ok i will then. This is a first round united states title match. What are your thoughts about being in the tournament?

~Brock Lesnar~: Im in this tournament because Vince knew how much power i have and how i could crush opponents queit easily. I may not have done well in the past but that finishes tonight when i hit the F5 on Scott Steiner to advance in the tournament.

~Funaki~: Who do you think you will face in the second round if you can get past Scott Steiner tonight?

~Brock Lesnar~: You mean when i get past Scott Steiner tonight. It could be anyone, it depends who wants to win so much they can taste it but i promise everyone in the arena and all the superstars in the back that the first United States Champion is Brock Lesnar.

~Funaki~: Do you have any last words for Scott Steiner before you go for your match?

~Brock Lesnar~: Scott Steiner tonight your peaks and freaks wont have a chance against Brock Lesnar and the F5, I am going to show you some true power tonight, You can bet i wont fail to drive you into the mat and get the victory because i am the Next Big Thing!!

Brock Lesnar then walks away as the scene fades to black.
