Yuri Yurievich
Nickname: Fenrir, X, The Combat Ace
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 242 lbs.
Physical Description & Bio:
Half Russian and Half Japanese, Yuri has brown hair and red eyes. His body has a few battle scars from his days as a Russian soldier, one that resembles a giant X on his back from the betrayal of his allies during the Cold War. He is built strong and flexible from training in the military. Eventually, Yuri left for America in 1986 as an illegal immigrant by himself (He never turned to Japan after an unfriendly visit there). Of course, without much to go to he had to live his life by menial jobs, experiencing the Red Scare first hand.
He was isolated and, like a good American, turned to television to take his mind off all his troubles. He stumbled upon wrestling and became absorbed into it. From that day he would imitate his idols, Ivan Koloff and Nikita Koloff. He witnessed Nikita's 11 month US title reign in the WWF and realized that America truly was a land of opportunity. After that, he set his goal in life towards wrestling. However, he sidetracked and decided to actually join the American armed forces in support for the country he began to call home, becoming a traitor in the eyes of his friends back in Russia.
The sacrifice of losing acknowledgement from his motherland caused him great pain, but stayed loyal to America. Ironically, he stilled recognized Russia as his true home. As a soldier in both countries, he realized the illusion of the Iron Curtain and left the military for good. After that he worked hard towards his goal to become a wrestler and eventually got a chance to debut in 1993, shortly after the end of the communist party in Russia. At the age of 22, he made very little impact on the wrestling scene after his debut but improved little by little over the years.
He wears black Russian military gear to the ring. The most distinguishing parts of his attire consist of a black bandana, black vest, a dark grey beret, and an eye patch. Because of years in the military, his threshold is a little higher than most people. This makes it a little harder to pin him or make him submit.
He now attempts to escape his tainted wrestling past under a new name and a new attitude. By removing his beret, getting a different hairstyle, and ejecting his heavy vest, his former 6'4", 262 pound stature has been altered for speed.
Additional Notes: Yuri is a former CTC superstar under the names X and Fenrir X. He has held the CTC tag team championships before leaving the company after suffering a loss to the Nozaki Twins with his ex-partner Locasta.

Finishers:
Yurika: Yuri grabs the opponent from behind and sets them up for the Unprettier. He tightens his hook on the opponent's arms and leaps up vertically, landing his rear on the canvas with his opponent's face, hitting a modified Pedigree/Unprettier combination.
The Russian Scorpion: Yuri holds up both legs of the opponent and places the right leg in between and past the opponent's, placing the foot next to the left rib cage. Then he applies a figure four by placing the shin of the opponent's left leg behind the right knee, folding the left leg. Yurievich then turns the opponent over onto his/her stomach, pulling back on the opponent's right leg with a single-leg boston crab while pressing his left knee against the opponent's left ankle in the figure-four positiion. This damages the leg, back, and ankle of the opponent. Pretty much a Figure-four single-leg boston crab. Sometimes to increase damage, Yurievich pulls himself even more back to pull harder on the right leg. This only works if he slides the opponent's left calf(that's bent) onto his right knee.
Xcommunication: Yurievich gets his opponent in a reverse standing suplex position, wrapping his right arm around the opponent's neck tightly. He proceeds to place the back of his opponent's left arm against the back of his neck, using his left hand to grab onto the left wrist of his opponent. After a second or two, Yurievich immediately hits a spinning Ace Crusher, leaping up as he turns his opponent over and crashing their face down hard.
Hammer and Sickle: Yurievich places his opponent into a hammerlock and hits a toe kick to the gut, placing the opponent in standing headscissors. He hooks the free arm and holds the hammerlock in place at the same time, jumping up and pulling the opponent up with him to deliver a hammer-lock, half-tiger driver or hammer-lock pedigree. Depending on where his opponent is injured, the move is modified. If the head is busted open, the opponent is landed on their face with Yuri pressing the hammer-locked arm hard down onto the back with both of his hands. On most occassions, the opponent is landed on the head and in times of desperation, the opponent is landed completely vertically into the canvas. In these occasions the hammer-locked arm is used as a handle to assist in increasing impact to the head/neck.
