Ok, here is the interview conducted by the BTWF wrestlers with Steve Twist
Shady: “Who in each division do you want to face the most, the divisions being the heavyweight and cruiserweight?”
ST: “In each division? Wow that is a tough one. Well to be quite blunt about the heavyweight division I would have to say that I want a match with anyone who is the BTWF Champion, has held it, or is someone who I think may be worthy for a title shot against me. Some names, if you must, are HBK, Rocky, Eclipse, Darson Grays, and a rematch with HG and or Omega. In the cruiserweight division I think that I would love the rematch with my tag team partner Xunkai, who is of course the Small Fry Champion. I also think that TT would be a great opponent, and there are really a lot of good cruiserweight guys around here I would like to face.
“If you tag-up with anyone who would it be?”
ST: “Xunkai is of course my tag partner right now but I think that Dar would be one hell of a tag partner if he got his head out of his ass here. Even though I agree with him on more than one occasion…”
Darson Grays: "What made you get into wrestling?"
ST: “Well, Steve Twist doesn’t just jump into things half-assed. Yeah I planned on doing this for a long time really. Well not really, and I am known to do things half-assed on occasion. Actually I have had an interest in wrestling for a long time so when the chance at coming to the BTWF showed its head I took it. Took it and ran with it. I mean I am one of the hottest stars in the BTWF now and I really owe it to myself and my fans.”
Rocky: “Which WWE move do you consider to be the most painful? Why?”
ST: “The most painful to watch, or have done to you? The most painful to watch is any move performed by Ric “I’m way too old” Flair but they are some of the funniest too. But the most painful to get hit by, I would have to say that the Pedigree would be pretty brutal. You ask why though and it is because that I wouldn’t want a face full of wrestling mat, or to have my head stuck between a guy’s legs.”
”If you were allowed to make a match in the WWE between superstars at RAW & Smackdown for your enjoyment, then what match would it be? Why?”
ST: “Now this I like. Ok, I would have to say RVD vs. HBK in a ladder match. Why, because it would kick some ass that is why. Shawn Michaels, the reason the ladder match is great and RVD the reason why the ladder match has become even greater in the WWE. I mean if you stuck a title in that one too that would be great. I would also like to see HHH vs. Eddie Guerrero again. That would be a really good one for an interpromotional PPV.”
”Who is your favorite BTWF wrestler? Why?”
ST: “Why it is Steve Twist of course. Who better? But seriously if I can’t pick me then I would have to say Big Daddy. That guy can wrestle, no doubt. I mean, he has had the ME spot at both of the PPVs now and he will no doubt get into the BTWF Championship match at the ToG too. I mean if there is anyone that could keep up with me in a wrestling match besides Omega and Brian Blade it would have to be him. I also really like his Save the Queen move.”
”Which new BTWF wrestler do you think has the potential to make it to the top? Perhaps even face you, HBK or Xunkai for the gold.”
ST: “Right now, I am lenient on this subject. I believe that Eclipse, Rocky, and even Victor “the king” Bidwell could all really make something of themselves here. As for facing me, Xunkai, or HBK for the gold yet, I can’t see any person in the spectrum of new people that would deserve that shot, yet.”
Big Daddy: “You've mentioned a "mystery man" for some time now. Will there be any specific time that this "mystery man" will be revealed?”
ST: “Well I am glad you asked really. I think that the so called “mystery man” will be revealed sometime after the ToG, possibly at a Madness before the next PPV. I figure that I can’t hide who it is for very much longer, but I think that the element of surprise would be better than just having an all out war against him. But don’t worry, when the time comes, the whole BTWF will know and I’ll make sure that no conversation won’t include what I have planned…”
“Is there anyone that you haven't faced that you would want to wrestle in the BTWF?”
ST: “Well, there are a few names that come to mind like I have said already. Actually I think that Brian Blade would be a great opponent to have a match with, but with his boss duties in the way I don’t see that coming, at least for the time being. I also think that any kind of match with Big Daddy would be good. I am a bit disappointed that I didn’t get on the 10-man tag but I guess the day when I and he cross paths will have to wait.”
”What is your opinion on Blade still being the head honcho of the BTWF?”
ST: “I like it. Really I can’t see a problem with it. I mean look at the air time he gives me. The only problems I have with him as the head of the BTWF is that he won’t let Steve Twist go all out. I mean, he gives me what I want but not quite the freedom that I want. Not in the moves department so much as my desire to fight people department. I mean, I would like to take on a lot of people in the BTWF but so far only a couple of my requests have been fulfilled. The other thing that I can complain about is him having Frost do everything for him. Too bad that someone at ToG is going to show him that Frost can’t quite cut it, especially if I had a match with him.”
”Would you rather have HBK or Blade as the boss?”
ST: “Blade. I mean nothing against HBK but Blade has really helped everything in the BTWF come along. But if HBK were to take over as the boss again I would sure love to get that Steve Twist vs. Brian Blade match fulfilled.”
”Do you have any plans to go for the tag team titles with Xunkai in the near future?”
ST: “No, I can’t say that I do as long as there are no double champions. Now if that little stipulation was lifted I would greatly consider it. I mean the Gaia and Small Fry Champions could take the tag division by storm and show them how it is done. I do still at least want a rematch with the Twins of Death for the humiliation they caused me. I mean, getting knocked out once is bad but twice is worse.”
”Aside from Rocky, who you've stated has talent, who do you believe is the next man to be the up and coming star in the BTWF?”
ST: “I guess that everyone sees me as a pretty good judge of talent here… Well if I had to pick one person that is the up and coming star of the BTWF, it has to be Darson Grays. I mean I know that he hasn’t really showed everything he has yet, and he has lost a few matches. But I think that he has the skill and ability to pull it together and dare I even say, win the ToG?”
Fun Questions:
What is your favorite movie?
ST: “I would have to say, either The Rundown or either Slapshot movie. I like any kind of comedy, action, or hockey movie so those two fit nicely in my taste category. I like the Rundown especially because it had a lot of great action and was really funny. I don’t really like depressing or scary stuff.”
How about your favorite music or bands?
ST: “Favorite band would have to be…undecided and no that isn’t a band. I think that it would have to be a draw between P.O.D. and Sevendust. Some other people or bands I like are Rob Zombie, The Exies, Trust Company, Limp Bizkit, Metallica, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, and Breaking Point.”
Besides wrestling, what other sports do you like?
ST: “Hockey, the greatest sport there is. Yeah, I like it more than wrestling, got a problem with that? My favorite team is of course the Detroit Red Wings, who are the greatest whether they got beat two years in a row by some lucky, shit-bag teams or not. I also have to say that the UHL team right here in my home town of Muskegon, the Muskegon Fury, just went undefeated in the playoffs to win the Colonial Cup, which is pretty damn good seen as how they played the two teams that were better than them in the regular season in their first two series”.
Now, last but not least, who was your favorite wrestler growing up and now?
ST: “Favorite wrestler growing up has to be The Rock. He is the reason I started watching wrestling, mainly because of his great promos. Originally I thought wrestling was stupid until I saw him. I have only missed a few wrestling shows since that day and have been to two WrestleManias. Right now my favorite wrestler is probably either RVD or Eddie Guerrero. Both are great in the ring and Eddie is especially good on the microphone. I have to say that I really like RVD’s unorthodox style too. And The Rock will always be a favorite, movies or not. HHH is really a good wrestler too; it is just that he needs to let some other people have a shot once and a while.”
“I figure to keep the tradition going; I will pick HBK as my next person to be interviewed. Thanks to all the people that sent me questions.”
