He gets into the ring and then…

*Vic Cross: Introducing, at 6’ 2” and weighing in at 235 pounds, the “Storm of the ring”, the man without doubts, fears, and disease, he is the Gaia Champion, Steve Twist!* Steve walks out to the ring in his usual attire, the crowd in an uproar for him, wearing the ever lovable confident, cocky smile. He holds up the Gaia Championship and lets a few little kids in the aisle way seats touch it. He then steps into the ring.
Joe Schmoe, the official referee, flashes the belt to the crowd as Steve and Omega warm up in their respective corners. Finally the rubber match between these two great athletes will start. Schmoe shows them both the belt, gives it to the timekeeper the outside and…
The bell rings…
The two men square off and lock up. Omega goes and twists Steve’s arm and tries to go behind his back but Steve kicks Omega in the gut and twists Omega’s arm. Steve jerks down on the arm to inflict pain and then goes for an Irish whip. Omega reverses the Irish whip though and Steve hits the ropes. Steve comes back as Omega goes for a back body drop but Steve rolls over him and lands on his feet. Omega turns around and locks up again. They seem evenly matched but Omega frees his right hand and hits a few punches to the abdomen of Steve. He then locks Steve’s head into a DDT position and goes for it. *Crack* Omega hits the ground as Steve slips out of the DDT. Steve then goes for and locks in a half Boston crab. Omega quickly counters by freeing his other leg up and kicks Steve in the face not once but twice to get him off and break the hold.
Steve gets to his feet as Omega makes it to his knees. Steve goes over to Omega but Omega takes Steve’s legs out with a double leg takedown. From there Omega makes it to his feet and goes to lock in the Indian Death Lock but Steve is quick to land a couple of kicks, break out of it, and get to his feet. Steve and Omega go to lock up again but Steve hits a kick to the knee while Omega looks for the lock up. As Omega goes down on one knee Steve goes for a roundhouse kick which is dodged. Omega then hits a chop block to the back of Steve’s knee which knocks him down, rolling in pain. Omega then begins stomping on the legs of Steve. After that he grabs Steve’s right leg, lifts it up high into the air, and smashes him back down on the mat. He does this same motion with Steve’s left leg and then flips Steve over. He grabs Steve’s legs and puts a Boston crab in.
Steve doesn’t seem to be able to do anything except crawl for the ropes and force himself to withstand the pain. He begins to crawl towards the nearest set of ropes but Omega decides to pull him back into the middle of the ring, making it seem like the farthest. The crowd starts to get into the match now, *clap…clap…clap…clap, clap, clap, clap*, Steve pushes himself up with his arms and somehow throws Omega off of him to break the hold. Omega hits the second rope and is hung up on it. Steve makes it to his feet and runs toward the far ropes and back, delivering a knee to the back of the neck on Omega. Omega falls to the mat and Steve takes this opportunity to lock in…the Camel Clutch! He cups his hands around Omega’s chin and pulls back while sitting on his back, inflicting a great amount of pain. Omega is close to the ropes but the hold is a hard one to establish any kind of movement at all while locked in. Omega fights and fights but the crowd would rather just see him give up. *Tap out, tap out, tap out, tap out!* The crowd begins getting very vocal again but is the most after Omega gets to the ropes and breaks the hold.
Steve stands up after Schmoe yells at him for keeping the hold locked on a few seconds longer then he should of. Omega takes this time to get back up to a vertical base and as the ref moves out of the way, runs at Steve and hits him with a sliding drop kick to the shins. Steve falls to his knees as Omega then runs at a set of ropes perpendicular to the previous set. Steve gets to his feet only to get hit with a running swinging neck breaker from Omega. Steve is face up on the ground after this and Omega goes to the closest turnbuckle to climb to the top. He goes up and… SHOOTING STAR PR…NO! Steve moves leaving Omega to hit the ground and bounce off of it with a nasty thud. Steve then instinctively goes for the cover but after a quick thought just leaves Omega face up after the accidental cover. Now Steve goes to the top rope. Omega begins to make it to his feet. Steve jumps for a cross body but Omega ducks and Steve hits the mat. Omega picks the dazed Steve back up and looks to go for a suplex but… Steve somehow hits the side effect and both men are down! Joe Schmoe can’t do anything though except wait and watch in this kind of match. Finally after what would have been about and 8 count, Steve makes it to his feet and picks Omega up.
Steve goes for a vertical suplex, he hits it. He rolls his hips while on the ground, keeping Omega locked in the vertical suplex hold and gets to his feet. He goes for another vertical suplex on Omega, he nails it and the crowd shouts 2. He repeats this process getting ready for the hat trick. He lifts Omega into the air and *3! The crowd shouts.* he hits it. Steve then grabs Omega in a sleeper hold on the ground. Omega is out off of his feet and Steve can feel the win here. There is nothing he can do now except hold it until Omega taps out. Omega doesn’t want to do this however and fights to his feet. Omega then hits a mule kick that hits Steve low and takes him to the ground. Omega decides against fighting with Steve anymore at the moment and takes a little rest outside the ring. He goes under the ring apron and pulls out a few choice weapons to use against Steve. A chair hits the floor behind him first, then a sledgehammer, and finally a…LADDER!
Steve makes it to his feet inside the ring and sees Omega outside. Steve runs at the far ropes and goes for a spear to the outside! *SMACK* The chair and Steve’s skull connect and he flops over onto the floor outside of the ring. Omega doesn’t waste anytime though. He throws the badly dented chair onto the floor and grabs the sledgehammer off the floor. Omega then takes it, rolls Steve so his front is on the floor, and grabs Steve’s left leg with the sledgehammer handle just above the top of the knee and pulls back. It almost looks like he is doing a half Boston crab with a sledgehammer! Omega keeps it locked in just to inflict pain. He would have to bring Steve back into the ring and have him tap to win. Finally after what seemed like and eternity for Steve, Omega lets go of the hold and delivers a shot to the back of Steve’s left knee with the sledgehammer. Steve screams and rolls around in pain as the fans’ booing of Omega continues. Omega throws the sledgehammer to the ground and picks up the ladder. Omega then slides the ladder in the ring and goes to pick up Steve. He picks Steve up and looks at the ring, but instead of throwing Steve into the ring he whips Steve at the steel steps. Steve reverses though and Omega nails the steps, causing them come loose and the top one to fall to the floor.
Steve seems to be back in the match but is still tired and on one knee while the fans are cheering for his last move. He finally gets to his feet and goes over to the pile on the floor which is Omega. He slowly picks Omega up and hits Omega’s head on the announce table, knocking him back to the floor. Steve then goes to grab a chair from where the timekeeper is sitting. He picks it up and the crowd starts going wild. He turns but is hit low by Omega. Omega then gets to his feet and grabs the chair. He climbs the ring apron and turns around. Omega holds the chair out and *SMASH* Missile Dropkick with the chair! Steve is down and busted open as it hit him directly in the face. Omega isn’t done though as he gets to his feet and grabs Steve. Omega doesn’t even bother to mess around with clearing off the announce table as he throws Steve on it. But instead of going for a move to put Steve through the table Omega instead goes under the ring again. This time he pulls out…
“Headhunter”: HOLY SHIT! Vic, he just pulled out a damn hockey stick!
Vic “The Voice: Now that is something I would never expect. These two really need to get back into the ring though. Too bad there is nothing Joe can do about it…
Omega looks over at the table and the two announcers that are standing away from the table. He makes a cut throat motion and then goes up into the ring to climb to the top rope, hockey stick in hand. Omega grabs the blade in his hand and jumps with it pointing toward Steve. *CRUNCH!* Steve moves and Omega hits the table hard crashing through it! Both men are down on the outside but Steve shows some life. He gets to a vertical base and sees the hockey stick still in the hands of the out cold Omega. Steve takes the stick and looks it over. He then grabs Omega by the hair with one hand and hauls him back into the ring.
Vic “The Voice”: Well at least they are back in the ring now.
“Headhunter”: But what is Steve going to do now?
Omega is on his front and Steve takes the stick and puts it under Omega’s chin. Modified camel clutch with the hockey stick! Steve holds it in as Omega screams in pain. Joe Schmoe tells Steve that the hold is illegal and he can’t win with it. Steve still holds it in a little longer before he breaks it. Omega is finally able to start getting up…*CRACK* Steve nails Omega with the hockey stick and breaks it across his back! Omega yells in pain as Steve just looks down at him, a huge grin on his face. Steve then grabs Omega in a reverse DDT position while Omega is on his knees. Steve falls backwards and puts his feet into the spine of Omega pushing him the opposite direction. The Flood of Pain! Steve has the Flood of Pain locked in and Omega frantically tries to get out. Omega is locked in so there is no escape though, bent backwards over the compressed legs of Steve that are driven into his back while holding his legs also. Omega refuses to tap out however and Steve finally breaks the hold as Steve’s legs are hurt too badly to keep them like that for too long.
Omega falls back to the ground as Steve now looks around the ring and spots the ladder. He stares at it, imagining the possibilities. Steve then grabs the ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring. Steve looks down at Omega again and starts climbing the ladder. About halfway up Steve’s leg begins to bother him again. Omega starts to get up and sees this. He hits Steve in the back, impeding his progress, and then starts up the other side of the ladder. Both climb and make it to the top where they start throwing punches at each other. Omega grabs Steve’s head and slams it into the top of the ladder. Steve lies across the top of the ladder and Omega climbs down a couple of rungs. Omega then puts Steve onto his shoulders and…CRIMSON SKIES off the ladder! Both men are down and out. Schmoe can’t do anything but watch as both men are laid out on the mat.
Finally Omega starts to move a little. He fights to his feet and then goes over to Steve. Steve is a bloody mess so Omega figures he has a little time on his hands. He goes to the outside of the ring and starts, once again, looking under the ring apron for anything he could use. Omega pulls out not one, not two, but three chairs and throws them into the ring. Omega then gets back up on the ring apron and goes through the ropes to enter the ring. He goes to grab Steve’s legs but gets a foot in the face, knocking him back. Steve grabs one of the chairs and nips up to everyone’s surprise. Steve throws the chair at Omega and… VanDaminator! Omega hits the mat in a bloody heap. The crowd is back into this match and Steve runs at the parallel set of ropes to which Omega is laid out by, chair in hand. Steve puts it out and sliding dropkick into the chair! Steve has regained the momentum in the fight. Steve then drags Omega out to the middle of the ring after throwing the ladder out to the outside. He puts the chair on Omega, runs at the ropes and…Twisting Frog Splash with the chair onto Omega!
Steve holds his ribs but gets back to his feet, now determined to win the match. Steve goes to where Omega’s head is lying on the ground and locks in a triangle choke hold. This is mainly put on to keep Omega out instead of to make him tap out. But Omega begins to show some life and hits the unsuspecting Steve with a few elbows to the face and breaks out. Now both men are back on their feet. Steve runs at Omega but is hit with an arm drag with is held by Omega, and then made into and arm bar on Steve’s left arm. Omega torques it in but Steve grabs the nearby ropes with his right arm and Schmoe forces Omega to break the hold. Omega argues this allowing Steve to do what at first looks like a roll-up but Steve instead stands up and locks in the Sharpshooter from it. Omega quickly rushes to the ropes. Steve is held back by Schmoe after the hold and Omega gets to his feet.
This time Omega runs at Steve but is caught with a kick to the gut. Steve then scoop slams Omega onto the mat and goes to lock in a surfboard stretch. Omega counters with a few shots to the gut of Steve before he can get it on fully. Steve grabs Omega around the waist from behind though as both men stand and tries for a German suplex. It is blocked by Omega though and Omega turns himself around Steve and hits a chicken wing suplex. Steve hits the ground hard and flips from his front side up to backside up. Omega gets up and goes over to Steve, locking in an STF surfboard stretch! Steve is racked in pain and asked if he wants to give it up. He doesn’t but Omega doesn’t want to break the hold, and it is near impossible for Steve to make it to the ropes. Finally Steve twists and turns to make Omega lose his grip on the hold and breaks out. Omega wastes little time though as he stomps at the down Steve. This is a mistake though as Steve grabs his leg, stands, and throws him to the ground. Steve then locks in, the figure four leg lock! Steve’s old favorite submission is in and Omega is in pain. Steve may have it won here, but once again using his legs so much for so long on this submission forces Steve to break the hold.
Steve is up first to his advantage and he goes to grab Omega’s legs again. Omega kicks him away back into the ropes though and gets to his feet. Steve runs at him and gets a drop toe hold which causes Steve to smack his face on the mat and roll over, face up. Omega takes advantage of this quickly and goes to lock in…the OMEGA PRISON! Steve is locked in the Prison by Omega and is quickly fading. Steve fights though, and crawls for the ropes, which he is pulled away from and put back into the middle of the ring. Steve pushes himself to climb for the ropes again. Omega tries to pull Steve away from them but Steve uses this to break out of the Prison. Omega hits the floor and Steve pulls himself up using the ropes. Steve then, as quickly as he can, goes over to Omega and locks in…
Vic “The Voice”: WHAT IS THIS! Look at that HH, Steve locked Omega in his own hold, the Omega Prison! Now this is submission wrestling at its best.
“Headhunter”: I guess but I liked it better when they were smashing each other’s brains in. And what is up with Twist thinking he can steal Omega’s own move!?
Steve has the Prison locked in on Omega now and looks like he will do everything in his power to win the match now. Omega can’t be held down very long though with Steve’s legs so injured. Omega just barely makes it to the ropes, but Steve insists on holding it in. Schmoe finally gets Steve off of Omega and Omega tries to use the ropes to pull himself to his feet. When Omega is to his feet, Steve hits a kick to the gut of Omega and faces the ropes in a stunner position. TWIS…NO! Omega kicks Steve’s left leg as it hits the second rope in the Twister attempt, knocking Steve off of him and to the ground. Omega then picks Steve up off the ground and puts him in a stunner position…Twister by Omega onto Steve!
The crowd is shocked and Omega gets up to boos. He spits in the direction of the crowd and looks like he is going to finish Steve off. But stops and instead puts the two chairs lying on the ring apron up in the nearest corner of the ring. He sets them face to face and says something about the epidemic ends here while pointing at them. He takes Steve and lays him face down on the two chairs, and then steps onto the one with Steve’s legs on them. He goes to lock in the Omega Prison on the chairs! Steve shows life though as he kicks at Omega, causing Omega to jump onto the top turnbuckle right near them. Steve gets up and while Omega is trying to gain his balance, jumps on the second rope, right below where Omega is. Steve then tries to get to the top two as the men begin delivering blows to each other to knock the other off. Finally Omega jumps on Steve to go for a head scissors takedown, BUT it is countered into the power bomb position. The fans go wild, Steve is on the second rope in the corner but Omega starts throwing punches that hit Steve in the face, making him start to lose his balance. Out of nowhere though, Steve does a hold on power bomb, making Omega hit his head on the ground before Steve pulls him back up. Steve then uses everything he has left to climb to the top rope. This power bomb is the end of Omega. BUT NO! Steve sets it up, he jumps…FULL FURY! Full Fury off the top rope, hitting the two chairs below squarely!
*The crowd goes wild, sickening as it was no one can manage to turn away from this match-up.* Neither man can move both being knocked out. Omega is face down in a bloody heap as is Steve. Steve slowly climbs over to Omega though, and with all he has left, lock’s in the Crippler Crossface on Omega. *The crowd is deafening still.* Tap…tap…tap. Omega taps out!
*VC: And the winner of this match-up, by submission, and still the Gaia Heavyweight Champion, Steve Twist!*
Steve isn’t celebrating however as the medics come down to the ring with stretchers, almost knowing this was eminent. Both men are given equal attention as they are slowly moved out of the ring. Other officials come down to clean the blood from the last move out of the ring. Before he is wheeled out, Disease starts to play and Steve raises his hand, Gaia Championship across his body.
