The crowd in the Barton Arena quickly hushes as the lights go out, a few excited murmurs heard. Suddenly, a guitar solo rips into the sound system and dark red and gold lights begin to shower over the interior of the huge arena, bathing the crowd in their glow. On the BarTron, an image could be seen of a volcano erupting, lava shooting everywhere, but some of it flowing down the sides of the cone. The camera zooms into one of these spots, where the lava slowly cools, all except a few strands of it, which form the letters "RAGNAROK". At this, the song suddenly hits its first verse, and the crowd recognizes it as the theme for Ragnarok, "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack.

I've told you this once before

You can't control me

If you try to take me down you're gonna pay

I feel your every nothin' that you're doin' for me

I'm pickin' you out of me

You run away...

I...stand alone

Inside

I...stand alone (stand alone) Three columns of fire shoot up from the top of the entrance ramp, and more join them, from the sides and top of the BarTron, and from sets on either side of the top of the entrance rmap. The flames get so high, the crowd can feel the heat emanating from them, and it becomes almost blinding.

You're always hidin' behind your so called goddess

So what, you don't think that we can see your face?

Ressurected back before the final fallen

I'll never rest until I can make my own way

I'm not afraid of failin'

I...stand alone

Inside

Feelin' your sting down inside me

I'm not dyin' for it

I...stand alone

Everything that I believe is fading

I...stand alone

Inside

I...stand alone (stand alone)

The flames dissipate and red pyro shoots off from the top of the BarTron down to sets above the ring, sending red sparks showering down over the ring, the crowd cheering as the pyrotechnics end.

Vic "The Voice" Hartman: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to BTWF Ragnarok! I'm Vic "The Voice" Hartman!

James "Headhunter" Sharpton: And I'm Jim "Headhunter" Sharpton! Damn, Vic, this is gonna be the greatest BTWF Pay-Per-View to date! We've got so many brutal matches, I think we might have to clean the ring in between them!

Hartman: That's quite possible, Jim. And though our first match doesn't have a brutal stipulation, it's sure to be brutal nonetheless. The lovely Ravena is challenging the monster, Demon!

Sharpton: Ravena may have defeated Worlock at fadetoblack, but he has half the strength that Demon has!

Hartman: I don't know, Jim. Ravena may still be able to think her way through this one.

Sharpton: Pssh. Sure. Lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice, Vic. Anyway, our next match is definitely going to be brutal! The Red Necromancer, Worlock, going up against the Crazy Joker, DiZtUrBeD in a Street Fight! And not just a Street Fight, a Loser Leaves Town Street Fight!

Hartman: That's right, Jim! The loser of this match will leave the BTWF...forever! The next match is our first title match of the night, as the underdog tag team of Seraph and Kanyon go up against the tag champions, Twilight Tokyo Rose and Jack Frost!

Sharpton: Ooo, this is gonna be good...Jack and Twilight wrestled these two last week, and Jack one his match, while Twilight ended up in a draw! I think the odds are pretty stacked against Seraph and Kanyon.

Hartman: They could still pull a victory out of nowhere Jim...It's happened before.

Sharpton: I'll believe it when I see it. After that, it's another slobberknocker, as Rocky and Bryan Kutterman face off in a Double Tables match!

Hartman: Will Rocky come out on top? Or will Kutterman leave Rocky battered and bruised in the ring? We'll find out later. After that match, it's another championship match, as the reinging Small Fry Champion, Xunkai, goes up against the challenger, Revision!

Sharpton: I told you this Revision kid was going places! And look at him now! He's got a shot at the SF title! He's gonna round out his month in the BTWF perfectly, Vic, I'm sure of it.

Hartman: Well, we shall see. Xunkai is practically the cornerstone of the Small Fry division.

Sharpton: Didn't you hear Revision? He said "Xunkai may be the 'cornerstone' of the SF Division, but I'm going to revise the very foundation!" That's a man on a mission, Vic. Next, it's a great Triple Threat match, as Hell's Guardian, Icy Ali, and Fox all go up against each other!

Hartman: This may be the end of this feud, but I doubt it...This is only the beginning! After that, it's a match I'm sure everyone is looking forward to, and may possibly be the most brutal match of the night! Steve Twist and Raymond Kage face off in a Barbed Wire Rope match for the Gaia Championship!

Sharpton: Oooo, I'm going to enjoy this one, Vic. Two guys in a ring, no disqualifications, beating the hell out of each other! That's my kind of match! Kage has the insanity to win this thing!

Hartman: Yes, but Steve Twist has proved time and again that he is worthy of the title belt around his waist.

Sharpton: His reign's gone on too long, Vic. It's time for a change. And the "Rage In The Kage" is the one to bring that change. And finally, we have our main event: The Garden of Evil. That's right, kids. A domed cell with four chambers, and weapons hanging on chains from the top of the cell! Two wrestlers begin fighting, while the rest are confined to those chambers. Every five minutes, a wrestler is released, until all six wrestlers are in the ring. Once that happens, there's a ten minute "beat-down" period, and then the top of the cell opens, and a ladder, as well as the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship, are lowered down to the ring! It then becomes a race to climb to the top of that ladder and remove the belt. Kinda complicated, but there's no doubt that this is going to be one hell of a match.

Hartman: No doubt, Jim. Will Big Daddy retain his title? Or will a new era begin tonight? We'll find out. Let's get to our first match.
