*The crowd waits in anticipation as the ring ropes are taken off one by one and replaced with large strands of barbed wire in preparation for the next contest. It takes quite a bit of effort and a very steady hand by the staff setting it up but before long the barbed wire is in place and the match is ready to begin. Victor Cross thinks about stepping into the ring but finds that it would be much safer waiting outside of the ring as he watches the crew setting it up roll under the bottom strand very, very carefully. Finally when the crew gives the signal and leaves going to the side of the entrance ramp Cross grabs the microphone off of the announce table and begins…*

Victor Cross: “The following contest is a Barbed Wire Match and is for the BTWF Gaia Championship!”

*The crowd cheers in approval for the violent match they will be seeing in only a few minutes. The crowd is noticeably smaller though from some of the other matches as mothers have taken their children away to outside the arena, to the concession stand, or anywhere else they could get them away from witnessing such a brutal match even though some others throughout the night have also been brutal…*

Victor Cross: “Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 246 lbs and standing 6’ 4” tall, he is the ‘Rage in the Kage’ and challenger, he is Raymond Kage!” *Suffocate by Motograter begins to play as the sadistic Kage makes his way out from the back, grinning from ear to ear that he has this match. He is wearing a pair of black jeans along with a form fitting grey shirt, a pair of black boots, and black gloves. He makes his way down to the ring slowly and absorbs the jeering from the fans happily. Upon reaching the ring he enters by rolling under the barbed wire strands and stands up before going over to where the ropes would normally be. Kage looks down at the wire before taking his shirt off and putting it over the wire before grabbing both sides of it and tugging it back and forth on the wire. It instantly tears and on the next few cycles starts to become so tattered parts of it fall to the mat. Kage laughs maniacally before taking it back up in his hand and throwing it at the ground on the outside where it is quickly grabbed and taken away by a ring hand. Suddenly Suffocate cuts off…*

*The BarTron changes to a black background quickly flashing white letters one at a time. S-T-E-V-E A bolt of lightning is seen on the BarTron and thunder echoes through the arena as more letters appear. T-W-I-S-T A typhoon is shown on the BarTron before four spires of blue fire come out from the top of the entrance ramp and Disease by Sevendust blares through the arena.* Victor Cross: “And his opponent, from Muskegon, Michigan, standing 6’ 2” and weighing 235 lbs, he is the Gaia Champion, Steve Twist!” *Steve makes his way out from the back slowly, a cocky grin on his face, wearing his blue attire that includes his coat, wrestling trunks, boots, black elbow and knee pads, white wrist tape and hand wraps, and a necklace with a wave pendant on it. His Gaia Championship is placed proudly on his shoulder. Steve doesn’t respond to the loud cheers for him however and has his eyes fixed on Kage. Slowly Steve walks down to the ring and pretends he is going to get in it before Kage goes to stomp on him. Referee Joe Schmoe restrains Kage though as Steve goes over to where the time keeper sits and hands him his Gaia Championship, coat, and necklace before sliding under the bottom strand of barbed wire rather carelessly, nearly catching his back on it. As Steve gets to his feet Joe Schmoe tries to keep the two apart but is forced to quickly call for the bell as they push him away and stare each other down.*

The bell rings…

As soon as the two hear the opening bell they begin throwing right hands, both at the same time with a fast pace to them, but they don’t seem to budge each other. Finally Steve lands one good shot and staggers Kage. Another hard punch to the jaw of Kage backs him up a little more. Steve throws yet another hard right to the jaw of Kage which sends him to being just about an inch away from the barbed wire. Steve sees this and winds up one more time for a big punch but instead gets a kick from Kage that connects low and takes Steve down to his knees. As Steve tries to recover from the blow Kage kicks him square in his unprotected head, knocking Steve down onto the ground. Kage moves away from the barbed wire and towards the middle of the ring to place his feet near Steve’s head before he begins unleashing a vicious assault of stomps onto the head and chest of Steve. After about seven stomps or so Kage goes down to his knees and brings Steve up to a sitting position before standing back up and using his right hand to deliver a few well placed punches to the top front of Steve’s head. Steve cringes a bit but tries to annoy Kage by not showing the pain the punches inflicted on him. Unfortunately for Steve this works very well and Kage stomps his feet on the ground in anger before bringing Steve up to his feet and putting him into a front facelock.

Kage points at the crowd and yells at them as he lifts Steve into the air but is caught off guard as Steve slips out of his grip and falls behind him. Steve swiftly puts Kage in a waistlock and tries to lift him up but Kage blocks the attempt. When Kage gets back down onto his feet he breaks Steve’s grip and does a standing switch to place himself behind Steve and to put him into a waistlock. Kage then tries to lift Steve into the air but Steve counters him in the same way, using his leg and wrapping it around the back of Kage’s. Steve tries to get down to the ground but Kage decides to switch his tactics and instead of putting Steve up for a German Suplex he falls to the side with Steve going face first into the mat, taking him down. Kage keeps the waistlock in down on the mat after the takedown but it quickly becomes obvious he has played into Steve’s game as Steve quickly rolls over so he is on top of Kage before breaking the waistlock and rolling backwards over Kage and to his knees where he puts Kage into a Dragon Sleeper. Kage looks around at his options as Steve cuts off the incoming oxygen to Kage but without the ropes Kage seems to be stuck. After about fifteen seconds Kage feels the effects of the hold start to weigh in but in a desperate attempt Kage turns as much as he can and elbows Steve in the gut with his right arm. Steve refuses to break the hold but Kage hits another elbow, and another. Finally Steve is left with little choice and breaks the hold before rolling to the side as to not get knocked back into the barbed wire by Kage.

Steve quickly gets to his feet as Kage makes it up despite being a bit groggy. Steve sees this and hastily goes over to Kage where he delivers a kick to the gut before putting Kage into a standing headscissors and hooking his arms. Steve goes to lift Kage up but realizes too late Kage’s arms have slipped out of his grasp as he gets back body dropped into the barbed wire strands! The flesh on Steve’s back tears as he nails the barbed wire and hits the ground where he screams out in pain. A small bit of blood starts coming from the cuts Steve got from the barbed wire but nothing serious yet. Kage seems to love this as he goes over to where Steve lays face down and begins stomping on the back of Steve. More cries of pain can be heard from Steve until Kage stops and pulls Steve up by the hair. He then drags Steve over to the barbed wire ropes before placing Steve’s neck and throat onto the second one. Kage doesn’t push down on Steve though but instead takes a few steps backwards before charging at Steve. As swiftly and carefully as possible Steve takes his hands and puts them up onto the barbed wire before thrusting himself up off of it at the last second, leaving Kage to jump into the middle strand knee first! Kage screams as he falls to the ground, his pants being torn and his leg and knee along with them. Kage brings his leg up to his stomach on the ground and grabs it near him with his arms as Steve gets up from the ground holding his neck and checking his hand to make sure he isn’t bleeding from it.

When Steve sees that he is ok he goes over to where Kage lays and goes down to one knee, slapping Kage in the head a couple of times before standing back up and pulling Kage up to his feet by his hair. Steve shows a bit of a different style then his usually as he grabs the now standing Kage and scoops him up onto his shoulder. Steve looks at the nearest barbed wire set of ropes and points at it to get the crowd fired up before running toward it with Kage on his shoulder. At first Kage doesn’t seem to know what Steve is doing but as soon as he realizes it Kage slips off of Steve’s shoulder and pushes him forward. Steve just barely stops in time to avoid hitting the barbed wire but Kage doesn’t seem to like this as he runs forward at Steve and goes to push him into the wire. With a quick glance behind him Steve sees this and sidesteps Kage who is also able to stop on the fine line between safety and pain. Kage puts his hand up onto his forehead and wipes it off, thankful for not running into the ropes but he also gives Steve the time to get behind him and put him into another waistlock. Kage has nowhere to go now as Steve lifts him up into the air and drives him back into the mat with a German Suplex. Steve doesn’t stop there though as he picks Kage up, still in the waistlock, and hits him with another German Suplex. Once again this isn’t enough for Steve as he picks Kage up in the waistlock again but this time he makes sure their backs are facing the nearest set of barbed wire ropes before hitting Kage with a release German suplex into the barbed wire!

Kage screams out in pain as he hits the wires and falls face first to the ground where he holds his torn back that begins to bleed. Kage starts pounding his head onto the ground to focus the pain on his head instead but ends up getting a kick to the head by Steve that does it for him. Steve then swiftly goes down and flips Kage over to cover him, 1…2…Kage gets a shoulder up. Steve props himself up onto his knees and snaps his fingers, hoping he had the win, before he picks Kage back up to his feet again. Once Steve has Kage on his feet he places a knee into the abdomen of Kage before clubbing Kage across the cuts on Kage’s back with his right arm. Kage stands back up straight before arching his back and holding it in pain. Steve doesn’t showboat during this though but instead measures Kage up for another right knee to the gut that bends Kage back down. This time around Steve raises his right arm into the air before landing an elbow to the spine of Kage which makes him once again stand back up, arching and holding his back. Steve smiles a bit at this before jumping up and nailing a dropkick to the torn up right knee of Kage that makes it give out and makes him fall down onto the mat. Steve looks like he will go after the leg of Kage but instead decides to go to the outside and get some more ‘fun’ stuff into this match.

As Steve falls to his back to rolls to the outside he immediately feels the effects of the barbed wire and cringes. He fights through the pain though as he gets out to the outside where he goes down to his knees and flips the ring skirt up before looking underneath the ring for anything useful. While Steve is doing this Kage begins to get to a vertical base inside the ring and seems to be a bit upset along with being beat up. Kage notices Steve on the outside digging under the ring and looks like he will go over to him but instead goes the opposite direction from Steve and slides out of the ring on his belly. Finally after about thirty seconds Steve seems to have found what he was looking for under the ring apron and pulls out a midsized bag of something. The crowd looks unsure, not knowing what Steve has in the bag and they aren’t going to find out right now as Steve pushes the bag under the bottom barbed wire rope and into the ring where it sits in the corner. Steve then goes back down to his knees and lifts the ring skirt back up only to get fire extinguisher fluid in his face courtesy of Kage! Steve falls down, holding his face and eyes as Kage emerges from under the ring and throws the fire extinguisher down while receiving a ton of jeers from the crowd. Kage laughs at this and kicks Steve in the back while he is down before going and looking under the ring for something else.

After a few seconds of searching Kage raises his body up from beneath the ring apron with a steel chain wrapped around his right fist. He goes over to the still blinded Twist and hammers the chained fist into the Gaia Champion's face, knocking him to his knees outside the ring as Kage laughs and begins hammering away relentlessly at Twist's skull with the steel chains. After about 15 or so fierce punches to Twist's forehead, Kage ceases and gives Steve a sharp kick to the ribs as he falls back onto the floor, his face now splotched with blood from Kage's attack. The now dominant Raymond sends a few sharp stomps to Twist's sternum, lifts him up by the hair and sends him crashing back to the ground with a quick standing clothesline, then rolls over the downed Twist with his foot and locks in an STF, pulling at the intertwined ankles and the neck of the helpless Gaia champion.

After 10 seconds of what seemed pure agony for the champ, Kage released him and pounded his forearm into the wounded back of his opponent aggressively, then lifted him to his feet and grabbed his arm, whipped him towards the steel steps, Steve woke up suddenly and turned, grabbing Kage's arm and flinging him into the steps instead. Kage smashed his knee hard against the cold hard metal of the ring steps and fell forward, trying to lift himself off the steps as he shook his leg, trying to get feeling back to it, Twist grabbed his bad leg and pulled it back, then sent it crashing hard, right into the steps once more. Kage howled in pain and rolled off the steps, clutching his hurt knee as Steve pressed his advantage and dropped his elbow onto the challenger's exposed neck, causing Kage to flinch and roll to his side as Twist resumed dealing punishment with a series of stomps, and followed those by lifting Kage to his feet and slamming him onto the steel steps with a cruel falling backdrop, even the crowd let out a unanimous "Oooh!" as Kage's body hung over the steps as Twist stopped a few seconds to regain his breath.

Having taken the small rest Steve goes over to where Kage is laying on and takes the right leg of Kage before dragging him to in front of the announce table where Steve leaves him and goes to search under the ring once more. Kage slowly starts to shake the cobwebs and rolls over to the announce table where he pulls himself up to his knees. Before Kage can get all the way up though Steve sees him and pulls out a barbed wire Kendo stick. The crowd begins a rabid cheer as Steve, back on his feet, faces Kage and measures him up. Finally as Kage is able to stand up again Steve swings without hesitation at Kage but is shocked as Kage turns around and blocks the shot with a monitor from the announce table. Kage then quickly leaps forward, his injured knee failing him for the most part, nailing Steve with the monitor in his midsection making him stumble backward and hold his stomach with one hand as he hits the ring apron. Steve doesn’t let go of the Kendo stick as this happens but quickly finds himself dropping it as Kage nails him with a hard punch to the gut. Kage, who is now up onto his knees, looks down at Steve who is on the ground along with the Kendo stick. Without another thought Kage grabs the weapon and uses it to get to his feet. Putting most of his weight on his left leg Kage brings the Kendo stick up into the air and then swiftly thrusts down but only hits the black mats on the floor as Steve rolls under the ring apron.

Kage cusses out loud and goes down to his knees, using the Kendo stick to put his weight on like a crutch or a cane. Kage lifts the ring apron up but doesn’t see Steve anywhere under it although depending on how far back Steve was he might be impossible to see with how dark it is. Kage mutters something to himself as he stands back up onto his feet with help from the Kendo stick and goes around to the side of the ring he had been dragged from by the discarded ring steps. Kage crouches down to the floor there and looks under the ring once again by lifting the ring skirt. Kage still doesn’t see Steve but suddenly he hears an increased cheering in the crowd and quickly turns around. Much to Kage’s surprise Steve is nowhere to be found still but then a voice is heard from behind him. “Hey over here jackass” Steve yells as he enters the ring from the opposite side Kage is on. Steve quickly gets to his feet and runs towards the barbed wire ropes of the other side, making everyone wonder what the hell he was doing, as Kage winds up the Kendo stick to hit Steve. This doesn’t happen though as Steve throws a bag of powder into the eyes of Kage before jumping over the barbed wire ropes and turning midair to nail Kage with a SUICIDA CORKSCREW MOONSAULT!

Steve and Kage collide hard on the outside as the Barton Arena crowd cheers vigorously for that move, knowing that if Steve didn’t clear the barbed wire it could have been disaster. The Kendo stick is dropped out of Kage’s hands during the move and is now right near the ring steps. After about twelve seconds or so Steve finally begins to stir and sits up, holding his head and putting his hand on his forehead feeling the blood. He looks down at Kage and wants to inflict the same punishment on him. Slowly Steve uses the ring barricade to pull himself to his feet and is patted on the back by a few fans before stumbling over to where the Kendo stick lays and picking it up. Steve doesn’t hit Kage, who is still down, with it though but instead throws it into the ring and lifts up the ring skirt and removing another barbed wire Kendo stick from it. The crowd cheers as they think Steve will hit Kage with this one but once again he throws it into the ring and goes back down under the ring apron. As Steve keeps looking Kage begins to get up, rubbing his eyes out, and just as Kage manages to get to his feet Steve pulls out the barbed wire hockey stick. Steve turns around; knowing Kage is up, and swings at him viciously but Kage ducks the shot and hits a right uppercut to Steve which makes him drop the hockey stick. Kage then thrusts his hand into the throat of Steve, making Steve fall to one knee, before grabbing Steve by the back of his tights and hair and throwing him into the ring.

Steve rolls into the ring and grabs at his left arm that hit the barbed wire on his way in before he has to swiftly roll out of the way of the barbed wire hockey stick Kage throws in the ring that lands where his head was. Kage slides in under the bottom strand of barbed wire and makes it to his feet slowly before grabbing the hockey stick up off the ground. Steve also gets up to his feet and grabs a barbed wire Kendo stick on his way up. Kage swings as Steve makes it onto the soles of his boots but Steve blocks the shot with the Kendo stick before raising it above his head and letting it down onto the skull of Kage who flops to the ground. Steve smiles as blood starts to drip from the head of Kage but Steve isn’t satisfied. He keeps the Kendo stick in his hands as he takes a few steps back before running forward towards Kage and sticking the Kendo stick in front of Kage’s face before drilling the barbed wire Kendo stick into the face of Kage with a Baseball Slide! A few screams are heard from the Barton Arena crowd as this is done and Kage’s lacerations are opened up, making his head spill blood to the mat. Steve sits up and makes sure the barbed wire isn’t stuck in his boot before getting up to his feet and touching his forehead, looking at the blood on his hands and down at Kage still thinking this wasn’t enough. Steve decides against covering and drags Kage up to his feet before going to whip him at the corner. The whip is reversed halfway though and Steve nails the corner hard, his arms hitting the barbed wire strands and being torn into by them.

Kage doesn’t follow Steve into the corner though but instead grabs the Kendo stick that Steve used to nail him in the face with off the ground. Kage raises the Kendo stick up above his head with both hands like Steve did before walking over to the corner, not wanting to hurt his knee. Steve still looks dazed as Kage arrives at the corner but quickly realizes his situation and, as Kage brings the Kendo stick down, Steve falls down to the floor making Kage hit the Kendo stick on the top turnbuckle. Steve then quickly hits Kage with a Drop Toe Hold that takes Kage down, making him nail his head on the barbed wire Kendo stick that sits on top of the turnbuckle. Kage falls back and screams in pain as Steve makes it up to his feet and goes over to the opposite corner where he left a bag of something sitting. As Kage continues holding his mangled and bloody face Steve grabs up the white cloth bag from the ground and the crowd stays silent wondering what it is. They get their answer before long and roar with approval as Steve begins to pour THUMBTACKS onto the mat! Steve pours them so they stretch out from the corner to the middle of the ring as Kage begins to get to his feet. Finally the last of the thumbtacks fall to the mat, creating a small pond of thumbtacks in the ring.

Steve now turns around, expecting to see Kage but instead just finding a bloody pile on the floor from where Kage’s face had set. Steve just catches a glimpse of what he thinks is Kage on the outside and walks over to the barbed wire strands nearest where Kage was laying. Steve is shocked to not find anything but ends up more shocked when a limping Kage comes up from behind Steve and nails him with a can of gasoline! Steve falls forward and into the barbed wire ropes before backwards, his abdominal and chest flesh ripping on the wire as this happens. Kage doesn’t bother with Steve though but instead grabs the less damaged Kendo stick and opens the canister of gasoline, pouring it all over the Kendo stick. After the gasoline is applied Kage closes the container and throws it to the outside before reaching into his left pocket and pulling out a lighter! More screams of shock come from the crowd as Kage grabs the handle of the Kendo stick and lifts it up into the air. Steve begins to get to his knees, holding his chest as Kage flips open the top of the silver lighter. Holding the lighter and Kendo stick away from him Kage gets the lighter to light and the fumes of gas explode immediately, lighting up the arena quickly before going out and leaving Kage to set the barbed wire Kendo stick on fire!!

Steve is now up to his feet and sees this, not knowing what he can do to combat it. He sees the other Kendo stick behind him and turns to grab it but instead gets a shot from the BURNING BARBED WIRE KENDO STICK TO THE BACK. Steve yells out in pain and falls face first down to the mat, holding his back. Kage just laughs though and yells at Steve to get up. Steve slowly struggles to get up but as soon as he gets to his knees Kage nails him with the flaming barbed wire Kendo stick AGAIN. Steve screams in pain and Kage loves it, staring at the flame in awe. Finally Joe Schmoe steps in to try and get Kage to stop but instead gets swung at and barely dodges it. Kage begins screaming at Schmoe, asking him if he wants to end up like Steve. Joe backs away from him, tripping over the barbed wire hockey stick as Kage keeps slowly advancing on him. Finally Kage brings the Kendo stick up into the air to hit Schmoe but ends up getting a low blow from Steve who was just able to crawl over to where Kage stood. Kage falls to his knees and drops the flaming Kendo stick which is promptly picked up by Steve. Kage continues to try and recover from the low blow as Steve pushes himself to his feet and tees up with the flaming Kendo stick before swinging it like a golf club and DRIVING IT INTO KAGE’S FACE!!

Kage screams out in pain as the barbed wire tears into his face, making Steve grin in satisfaction before throwing the kendo stick to the outside where it is extinguished by the staff at ringside. Steve goes down to one knee, wondering if he can go on, before flopping down onto Kage for a cover, 1…2…2.8!!! Kage shoots his shoulder up off the mat barely before continuing to hold his face. Steve looks shocked but is barely able to move by now, the wear and tear of the match setting in. The crowd begins to will Steve to his feet where he drags Kage to his feet as well. Steve brings Kage over to where the thumbtacks lay all over the ground before setting him in a Standing Head Scissors, making the crowd shout uncontroallably, knowing what is coming next. Steve goes to lift Kage up, but fails as he doesn’t seem to have enough energy left. Steve tries once more and almost gets Kage up this time but can’t quite. Steve looks at the crowd, blood trickling down his face and back before going for the third try. Before he can try and lift Kage up though it is reversed and Steve is BACK BODY DROPPED INTO THE THUMBTACKS!!! The tacks stab into the back of Steve and he yells out in pain, cussing loudly enough for many to hear as he arches his back, revealing at least a hundred thumbtacks stuck in and on it. Kage falls to his knees after the maneuver, it taking a lot out of him as well but as Steve drops back down into the thumbtacks Kage turns around and crawls through the thumbtacks to Steve where he flops his arm over him and covers, 1…2…2.8 count!!!

No one can believe it, especially not Kage who starts yelling incoherently about Steve getting out of the pin. Kage doesn’t waste time pinning again though, knowing the same thing will happen. Instead Kage forces himself to his feet, holding his right leg on the way up so as not to have it go out on him and make him fall. Slowly but surely Kage makes it to his feet before grabbing Steve by the head and trying to lift him up out of the thumbtacks. As Steve is lifted to his knees the crowd gets a better look at the hundred or more thumbtacks stuck into or onto the back and legs of Steve from the fall. The sight is sickening as the bloody battered Steve is dragged up to his feet but Kage wants to make it more sickening as he sets Steve up for the LONDON LAMENT! NO! Steve elbows Kage in the gut before shoving Kage backwards into the barbed wire ropes, Steve falling to his knees and Kage hitting the barbed wire. The skin on Kage’s back is replaced by blood as the barbed wire shreds Kage’s back up once again. Kage stumbles forward off the ropes, holding his back as Steve gets to his feet and hits Kage with a desperation DDT INTO THE THUMBTACKS!!!

Both men scream out but soon quiet down as they lie limply on the ground, neither moving a muscle except to breath. The crowd quiets down, wondering about how hurt the men are. Steve’s face is covered in blood, a lot of it dried, while his back is full of thumbtacks and is still bleeding steadily thanks to the Kendo stick shots from Kage. Kage’s head and face now have thumbtacks stuck in them and his head is still pouring a lot of blood, his back is also cut up badly but not as bad as Steve’s and without the thumbtacks. Finally Steve’s head bobs up off the ground, looking around as if he doesn’t know where he is. Slowly he rolls over and covers Kage to finish this match, 1…2…2 ¾ count!! As Kage pulls his shoulder up off the mat slightly Steve has a look of ‘what in the hell’ on his face which would be funny if he didn’t have cuts and blood all over it. Steve slowly pushes himself to his feet as Kage does also, neither man wanting to lose this fight. Finally they both get back up and Steve slams Kage in the face with a right hand. Kage staggers back; almost ready to fall down before catching himself and hitting Steve with a right hand that knocks Steve back. The crowd is now back into this match as the two continuing exchanging punches. After another punch from Steve Kage goes to hit Steve again but Steve blocks it and hits Kage with a kick to the gut before putting him into a Standing Head Scissors. Steve tries to pull Kage up onto his shoulders but he isn’t able to and Kage goes down to a knee before hitting Steve with a low blow.

Steve falls to the ground as Kage gets back up to his feet and goes over to grab the barbed wire hockey stick. Limping all the way Kage finally gets to and picks up the hockey stick before turning around and measuring Steve up with it. Steve brings himself to his feet slowly before turning around to where Kage is waiting. *CRACK* Kage nails Steve right in the skull with this shot, making Steve fall down to his back. Steve is now definitely out cold but Kage doesn’t cover. He instead goes down and rubs the barbed wire on the hockey stick across Steve’s face, making Steve bleed even more. After about fifteen seconds of this Kage stops and uses the hockey stick to stand up before yelling at the crowd that this is it. Kage drops the hockey stick and grabs Steve by the head, pulling him up to his feet before getting Steve ready for the SPIRE DRIVER! NO! Steve elbows Kage in the jaw before kicking him in the gut and putting him into a Standing Head Scissors. Steve tries to lift Kage into the air again but is unable to. Steve knows this may be his final chance though and quickly hooks Kage’s arms before lifting him up just enough to nail him with a SICK TIGERBOMB INTO THE THUMBTACKS!!! Kage lands on his head and neck first and Steve falls to the ground on top of him as shrieks of horror are heard from the crowd, 1…2…3!!!

Victor Cross: “And here is your winner, and STILL BTWF Gaia Champion, Steve Twist!”

Both Steve and Kage lie in a bloody mess in the middle of thousands of thumbtacks, Kage having his neck and back of his head covered in them, blood pouring out from his back and face. Steve also still has thumbtacks stuck all over in his back and knees with a lot of blood running down his face and back. Neither man moves an inch after the match, both being beat up and exhausted. Steve used the absolute last of his energy to lift Kage up for the hellacious Tigerbomb into the thumbtacks. Finally paramedics are rushed out to the ring and both men are slowly place on stretchers, both still having thumbtacks in their backs on them but it isn’t important right now. Kage is out first and the crowd keeps applauding as Steve is wheeled out with his Gaia Championship belt put over his chest. BTWF employees begin cleaning the ring out and putting the ropes back up to ready for the next match as the short intermission is filled with replays of this match being shown on the BarTron.
