Bio: Quicksilver, better known as Jason Riley to his family and friends, was born on June 7th 1984 in San Diego, at the Harborview Medical Center. Jason stayed in San Diego for a few weeks with his parents before moving back to their little island home on Santa Catalina Island. Since they lived near the ocean, Jason learned to surf at an early age, catching his first real wave when he was 6. Ever since anyone can remember, Jason has always been very determined in everything he does. He started school shortly after the first wave and then had to limit his surfing to the weekends, when he had free time. His 13th birthday rolled around and he got a brand new surfboard for it, but, as fate would have it, one weekend while surfing, Jason broke his leg and wasn't allowed to surf for a while.

While Jason was incapacitated, all he could do was sit around at home, flipping through channels, watching television. Then, one day about 3 weeks after he broke his leg, he came across a WCW show, entitled Monday Night Nitro. There was a match going on between Rey Mysterio Jr. and Eddie Guerrero and Jason was amazed by the acrobatic stunts that these two "luchadores" were preforming. Then, in late November, after Jason got his cast removed, he started imitating some of the high-flying stunts that he saw Rey and Eddie doing off of the small cliff he and his friends would dive off of while swimming. Jason kept on watching WCW until it's falling out in early 2001. Then he found out from another wrestling enthusiast about the WWF taking control of WCW and ECW. Jason then found out what channel the new WWE was on and began to watch it, while still keeping his job as a surfboard rental clerk on the local beach.

As things began to fall into place, Jason moved to Chula Vista and started checking into local independent federations, so he could try out this pro-wrestling phenomenon. He quickly found a San Diego-based fed and went to one of their shows. Jason was impressed and then found the owner of the place after the show was over and talked him into letting Jason try his skills out in the ring. The following week, he found some ring attire that he could wear and then on the day of the next show, Jason showed up at the show, ready to wrestle. But someone stopped him before his match and asked him what his ring name was going to be. Jason thought about it for a minute and remembered all of the track meets he won back in school and he decided "Quick" would be his name. He said this to the person, but they turned it down and said, "We need something more catchy." So Jason thought of his favorite color and added it on to the name and came up with "Quicksilver". He suggested it and they approved, so his ring name was going to be "Quicksilver" from now on.

As he entered the ring, he noticed his opponent, looking frightened in the corner. Jason helped the kid not be scared and carried him through the match, but Jason wasn't about to lose this match. After a Spinning Wheel Kick, Quicksilver climbed up to the top rope and hit a Shooting Star Press, sealing his victory. After 2 years of being on the indy circuit, he came across a fed named EGW. He lost his debut match against Phoenix there, but it didn't upset him very much. Then, the next week he had a Street Fight match against Yoi Henni. He lost again, and this loss really upset him. But then the General Manager came out and announced that Quicksilver had a match at the upcoming PPV: Hardcore Fall-Out, for the Shooting Star Title. This shocked Quicksilver, but the GM wasn't done with his announcement. He then said that the match was to be a two out of three falls tables match against Ace, the former two-time Shooting Star Champion. Ace came out and protested, but the match was already made. Heading into the PPV, Quicksilver was confident that he was going to win.

During the match, Ace got some heavy offense, but Quicksilver ended up putting Ace through the final table of the match, winning the match and the EGW Shooting Star Title. Quicksilver had one more match against someone he had a backstage altercation with and won before EGW went out of business again. Then, Quicksilver went to the new SWA and had a whole one match there before it went out of business too. Quicksilver then found himself out of work again, until he decided to come to the best of Gaian wrestling, the BTWF, and show the world what he's made of again.

Entrance Theme: "Californication" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers

A soft bass solo begins to play over the speakers and "Californication" begins to play and just as the song begins the first verse, Quicksilver walks out onto the entrance ramp. Quicksilver stops at the top of the ramp and stands completely still until a shower of silver sparks fall over him like a waterfall.

Psychic spies from China
Try to steal your mind's elation.
Little girls from Sweden
Dream of silver screen quotations.
And if you want these kind of dreams
It's Californication.

Quicksilver slowly walks down to the ring, turning his head and looking around at the crowd. As he makes his way up to the ring apron, he jumps up and kneels onto the apron. He looks around again and then stands up, climbing into the ring in between the top rope and second rope.

It's the edge of the world
And all of western civilization.
The sun may rise in the East
At least it settles in the final location.
It's understood that Hollywood
sells Californication.

He stands at the ropes, and then takes two steps forward to where he's standing in the middle of the ring and then he raises his arms up and throws back his hood in an arrogant fashion and then he walks over to the south-east turnbuckle, climbing up to the second rung and slapping his chest with his right hand 3 times and then throwing both of his arms out to his sides, palms facing straight forward. He takes his vest and sunglasses off and hands them down to a random stagehand before he turns and hops down from the turnbuckle and then walks around the ring, waiting for his match to begin.

Trademark Move - Silver Driver I: Quicksilver gets his opponent in an Inverted Three-Quarter Neckbreaker position and then jumps up and swings his legs up to where they come over his opponents head and then lands in a Vicious DDT, spiking their head and neck down on the mat. Quicksilver jumps off of the turnbuckle and then backflips 450 degrees down to his opponent, hitting them with a Knee Drop to the ribs/chest area in an Inverted 450 Knee Drop.

Silver Driver II: Quicksilver is standing in front of his dazed opponent and then places them in a Front Facelock under his left arm. He bends down, grabbing their left leg, lifting them up and turning them and dropping them on the back of their head and neck with a Screwdriver Fisherman's Driver.
