*Announcer: Now for the Gaia Championship Ladder Match*

*First, weighing in at 270 lbs, he is the challenger, he is Steve Twist*

*Disease by Sevendust starts to play and the fans wonder what is going on. That is until Steve Twist takes his place at the top of the entrance ramp; he runs down into the ring, going under the ladder set up on the outside and slides in. As he gets up, lightning strikes every ring post and a strong wind starts to blow through the arena. The crowd is going wild until…*

*Trooper starts to play, Announcer: and his opponent, weighing in at 230 lbs he is the Gaia Heavyweight Champion, he is Omega. Omega makes his way to the ring looking upset but as always, very confident. He passes the ladder without even acknowledging it.*

*The ref takes the title belt from Omega and flashes it to the crowd and both the competitors.*

The bell rings…

Both men square off in the middle of the ring, knowing that this is what they have been waiting for. They finally lock up in a grapple. Steve pushes Omega down and back, then starts to taunt. Omega gets back up and they grapple again. Once again Steve pushes Omega down and taunts him this time telling him to pucker up and kiss his ass. Omega gets back to his feet and grapples with Steve again, but this time he slips to Steve’s back side and goes for a German suplex. Omega lifts him up slightly but Steve blocks and goes around to the back of Omega. Steve then goes for a German of his own but being near the ropes Omega flips over Steve and lands on the ring apron. Steve turns around and gets a punch in the face. Omega grabs him for a vertical suplex to the outside. Steve counters with a vertical suplex on Omega, bringing him back into the ring.

Steve keeps the vertical suplex hold on Omega and brings him back to his feet. He goes for another vertical suplex but Omega flips over him and Irish whips him into the ropes. When Steve bounces back off the ropes Omega grabs him in a headlock and takes him down to the ground. Steve quickly fights out of the headlock with a few big elbows to the gut of Omega. With both men back to their feet Steve Irish whips Omega into the ropes. Omega holds onto them and Steve charges at him, clothes lining him to the outside near the ladder.

Steve rolls to the outside and looks down at Omega. He instead turns for the ladder and goes to grab it. As he does, Omega gets back up and punches him, knocking him away from the ladder. He then drops Steve and locks him in a reverse toe hold. Omega keeps the hold locked in viciously and Steve is in pain. The crowd starts, clap…. clap…... clap… clap… clap… clap… clap, clap, clap, clap. Steve breaks out and makes it to his feet. Omega also up, kicks Steve in the legs taking him back down. Omega then grabs the ladder. He hits Steve in the gut and Steve hits the floor. Omega then sets the ladder on the ring apron and the ring barrier. He goes back to the almost up Steve and whips him into the ring apron. Steve hits it hard with his back. Omega then gets the dazed Steve up on the ladder.

Omega looks under the ring with Steve down and out. He finds a chair and brings it out. He then takes it and smashes Steve’s stomach, and chest with it. He begins to taunt the crowd. They respond with many boos and most can barely restrain themselves from throwing things. While Omega is turned around taunting, Steve makes it to his feet on top of the ladder bridge. Omega turns around with the chair up, ready for another shot. Steve however, hits the chair right back into Omega’s face with a huge missile dropkick off the ladder bridge.

Both men are hurt after this but Steve manages to get to his feet. He takes the ladder down off the apron and barrier and starts to decimate Omega’s legs with it. He takes the top and slams it into Omega’s legs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Omega starts to roll around in pain. Steve then sets the ladder down and grabs Omega. He throws Omega back into the ring and also puts the ladder in. Steve finally rolls in and puts the ladder in the center of the ring. He picks Omega up into a scoop slam and slams Omega onto the ladder. He then looks like he will go for the lionsault onto Omega and the ladder. He runs, jumping on the second rope… *BUT WAIT* he turns into *HOLY SHIT* a Frog Splash! Twisting Frog Splash by Steve onto Omega! Both men are hurt and down!

With confidence on his face, Steve gets up and pushes Omega off the ladder. Steve then sets it up in the middle of the ring. He turns around to a punch from Omega but blocks it. Steve then delivers a right hand to Omega and they both start exchanging punches. Steve finally gets the upper hand with a big right hook and Omega falls to a knee. Steve goes to grab Omega but Omega jumps up to his feet and nails Steve with a kick to the gut. Steve steps back and Omega hits him with another kick, knocking him into the ropes, the ladder still set up. Omega Irish whips Steve into the opposite set of ropes and half way back hits Steve with a hurricanrana. With Steve down Omega starts to climb the ladder. 1 rung, 2, 3, 4, Omega stops, turns around on the ladder and does a HUGE leg drop off the ladder to Steve!

As Omega gets up this time Steve isn’t moving. That prompts Omega to begin to climb the ladder again. Omega’s legs start to hurt badly however and he climbs slower than before. 1 rung… 2… 3… 4… 5… Steve is back up and grabs Omega’s leg. He pulls him down and nails him with a right hand. He then picks Omega back up and throws him to the outside of the ring. Steve begins to climb the ladder 1…2…3…4…5… Omega comes back into the ring carrying ANOTHER LADDER! He hits Steve with it and Steve falls to the mat.

Omega then puts his head through one of the middle openings of the ladder and lays the ends on his shoulders. He begins to spin around as Steve tries to get up. *Swoosh* Steve ducks the ladder from the right. Omega reverses his direction. *Swish* Steve ducks the ladder from the left. Omega reverses direction again and Steve ducks to go hit Omega with a low kick. *CRACK* Blood soars into the air and splatters all over the mat as Steve’s face is destroyed by the ladder. Omega had leaned to his right and caught Steve with an uppercut with the ladder.

*The crowd is silent as their hero falls defeated. He is a mess with blood obscuring his vision and masking his face. All he sees is the ladder hitting him in the face over and over.*

With the 2nd ladder setup near the first, both in reach of the title and both with the sides facing each other instead of the rungs (the second ladder being at the left), Omega begins to climb. 1 rung, 2…3…4…5…6…7… The belt is now in his reach. He points and laughs at the crowd which distracts him from what happens next. *CRUNCH* Omega’s right leg is slammed into the ladder from a steel chair. Steve had been close enough to the outside where the steel chair lay that he had just enough time to grab it. With Omega teetering on the edge of the rung just off the top of the ladder Steve climbs up to the one just below it. Steve grabs him in the German suplex position. *The crowd starts to go wild* But Omega grabs the top of the ladder and uses his left leg to deliver a mule kick to the crotch of Steve.

With one leg Omega manages to jump over to the right ladder as Steve moves to be level with Omega. They throw punches back and forth until Steve pushes Omega’s ladder over with a strong kick from his right leg. Omega falls toward the ropes as Steve grabs for the title. However, Omega uses his injured right leg to push off the top rope and get the ladder back up. He winces in pain but manages. He then hits Steve with a hard kick to the knee and sends Steve’s ladder falling to the left of the ring. Steve uses his left leg and pushes it back to a standing position though before Omega can grab the title. Steve then kicks Omega’s left knee and with his right leg injured Omega stumbles. Steve climbs to the top of his ladder and grabs the title that is hanging above him. He then jumps at Omega, using the title to swing. *BOOM* A swinging dropkick on Omega that busts him open and sends him hurtling to the mat below.

Steve struggles to get back on a ladder as he swings back the other way and does. He may be making the biggest mistake of his career as he looks down at the fallen Omega. Steve turns away like he will grab the title…BUT NO! He goes for a moonsault off of the top of the ladder. *THUD* Steve… MISSES the moonsault and lands in a bloody heap. Omega is on the outside of the ring, trying to catch his breath. He finally rolls back into the ring and picks up the almost unconscious Steve. He slaps Steve in the face and does a Snap Brain Buster to him to bring him back down to the mat. Omega then grabs his legs and locks in the OMEGA PRISON!

Steve screams in pain as he tries to move and to break out. Omega shouts for him to shut the hell up and keeps the hold applied. Steve begins to fade slowly and when the squirming from him stops Omega sets out to climb the left ladder. However he first turns the ladders both so the rungs face each other and climbs the inside rungs of the left ladder. 1 rung, 2…3…4…5…6…7… Omega grabs the Gaia Championship and starts to pull it down. Suddenly he sees Steve coming up the inside of the right ladder. He changes his focus to Steve and the two start exchanging punches again. Finally, Omega spits in the eyes of Steve and hits him with a hard right. Steve falls over the top of the ladder and Omega looks at him, thinking of something evil. Omega climbs down and few rungs and grabs Steve’s legs. He then climbs up to the rung just below the top of his ladder with Steve’s legs now being held in…*NO WAY* OMEGA PRISON ON THE LADDERS! Omega has the Prison locked on top of the two ladders and Steve has no where to go.

With his torso on the top of the second ladder Steve tries to force his way up and out of the hold. He can’t get a real good grip on the ladder top but he keeps going and lifting himself. Omega won’t break the hold until…*THUMP* Omega’s right leg gives out and he hits his head on the top of the left ladder. *CRASH* they both hit the ground, with Omega still having the Prison slightly locked in. Neither is moving.

The crowd starts to cheer again as Steve tries to make it to his feet. Finally Steve makes it to a vertical position. He surveys the destruction around him and looks at Omega who lies at his feet. Steve tries to decide what to do next and chooses to pick up Omega. He then brings him to the outside of the right ladder. He grabs Omega in a Stunner position and the crowd goes absolutely wild. Steve then instead of going for the ropes turns and jumps onto the ladder! The TWIS…NO! Omega counters by throwing Steve into the ropes. Steve somehow grabs some footing on the top rope and tries to counter with a moonsault off the top rope! *SLAM* Omega moves and Steve hits the mat.

Omega then takes Steve and brings him back to his feet. The dazed Steve doesn’t even know what is going on until…CRIMSON SKIES by Omega onto Steve! Steve is down, Omega is on one knee, and the Gaia Championship is still up for grabs. Omega tries to get to his feet and fails, not once but twice, before finally getting up. He goes for the outside of the right ladder. He climbs slowly but with confidence that this match is over. 1 rung…2…3…4…5…6…7… The Gaia Championship is his.

BUT WAIT! Steve has made it to his feet somehow, someway. With Omega at the top Steve pushes the ladder over. BUT…Omega by some miracle gets onto the left ladder as the right falls to the ground. Steve isn’t finished though as he now goes for the left ladder but Omega jumps down and tries to hit Steve with a HUGE HURRICANRANA from the 4th rung up!

Omega gets his legs wrapped around the neck of Steve… BUT NO!!! Steve changes it into a power bomb position! Steve takes him over onto the fallen right ladder and looks like he will hit Omega with a power bomb… *WAIT* *OMG* Steve sets Omega up for A FULL FURY RIGHT ONTO THE LADDER!!!! Both men hit hard and blood rains through out the ring! Who in their right mind would do a Full Fury (Styles Clash) on a ladder!?

Neither one moves as the crowd is completely silent having just seen that sickening move. Omega starts coughing and hacking up piles of blood. The vomit begins to come to everyone’s throats in the audience. A few people turn away but then they see it. Steve Twist is up and climbing the ladder, the crowd is uncontrolled with joy now. 1 rung….2….3….4….5….6….7…. Steve has the Gaia Championship in his hands. He goes to unhook the belt and…*YES* He has done it! Steve Twist has won the Gaia Championship!!!!

He falls to the ground as the ring announcer make the announcement: “The winner and the NEW Gaia Champion – Steve Twist!

Medics are quickly brought out and Omega is laid on a stretcher, a tattered, bloody, beaten pulp. Steve refuses to get on a stretcher though, but even he is human. He raises the Gaia Championship to the crowd as they cheer rabidly. He finally makes his way to the back with Disease playing and two of the trainer’s helping to stand.
