Victor Cross: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship!"
Two tiger eyes appear on the BarTron and the crowd immediately erupts into cheers as "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor plays.
"Introducing the challenger, from Tiger, Washington, weighing in at 215 lbs., The Tiger!!!" The Tiger appears from behind the curtains, the crowd cheering even louder as he stops at the top of the entrance ramp, black and orange pyro erupting to either side before he begins to walk down the ramp, smiling out to the crowd. The Tiger then climbs up onto the ring apron, jumping up onto the middle rope and raising his arms up to the crowd, black and orange pyro shooting off from the two turnbuckles to his side. TT then quickly slips between the top and middle ropes before turning around to wait for his opponent.
The BarTron flickers to a blank white screen, and the crowd immediately begins to cheer, a voice suddenly moving through the speakers, capturing the audience.
"I have a photographic memory of pain and suffering. Your delusions and lies force you into the agony of your existence. You wait for a messiah with nothing but more of this for you. But for those who can believe, there is one who to rise up from the ashes and save them..."
The opening bass guitar solo of "Revolution" by P.O.D. erupts into the sound system as the words Steve "Savior" Twist appear on the BarTron, the crowd cheering even louder as the song hits its first verse, Steve moving out from behind the curtains, the crowd cheering even louder.
"And his opponent, from Muskegon, Michigan, weighing in at 229 lbs., he is the BTWF World Heavyweight Champion, 'The White Phoenix'...Steve Twist!!!" Steve throws his arms out to the side and tosses his head back at that, silver pyrotechnics erupting behind him and making it seem like two huge wings had sprouted from his back. The golden metal of the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship shows up well against Steve's white outfit, and the crowd is ecstatic to finally see it there. Steve lets his arms come back down as the pyro fades, the hood of his outfit having fallen back now. Steve smiles out to the crowd with a smirk, then heads down the ramp as the song begins its second verse. Steve soon reaches the ring, climbing up the steel steps and slipping through the top and middle rope, facing out to the crowd and throwing his arms up into an X, then brings them down into a cross before tossing them out to his sides again as white pyro shoots up from the turnbuckles. Steve finally lets his arms come back down, then removes his hooded vest, handing it off to an official as well as the BTWF Championship belt. He gives TT an odd glance showing some anger pent up inside Steve as Joe Schmoe raises the BTWF Championship in the air for the crowd to see. Joe then gives a ring hand the belt and signals for the bell.
The bell rings...
The two competitors stare each other down before quickly moving to the center of the ring where they stand face to face. Steve looks down on TT slightly but that doesn't stop him from throwing a right hand that catches TT in the temple. TT holds his head where he was hit before standing back up and throwing a punch at Steve that connects with his jaw. Steve grabs his head where he was hit before standing back up and smiling. Steve then slaps TT across the face hard with his right, then follows it up with a slap from his left hand. TT uses his hands to cover up as he is backed into the ropes by the flurry of slaps and punches from Steve. Finally after backing TT into the ropes Steve kicks him in the gut. TT falls on his bottom and Steve begins stomping on the midsection of TT before TT is able to roll to the outside of the ring. Steve begins to yell at TT who tries to get his wits about him on the outside as the ref starts the count, 1...2...3...TT seems to be alright as he tries to roll back in the ring. Steve steps forward to not let him but Schmoe pushes Steve back away from TT who is able to get back into the ring and stand on his feet. He spits at an angry Steve before Joe releases Steve and the two begin to circle the ring. They slowly pace around the ring for a few seconds before turning and going towards the middle. Steve and TT lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up in the center of the ring. At first they seemed evenly matched but Steve quickly takes the advantage by pushing TT backwards in the hold. TT can’t do much about it as he is shoved back into the ropes by Steve. TT keeps fighting though and doesn’t try to break out of the lock-up. Instead he uses his strength and some leverage to get his back off the ropes and shove Steve into them. Steve doesn’t stay with his back against the ropes long though as he shoves back into the ropes. Finally Joe Schmoe steps in and tries to break the hold up. At first neither Steve or TT will let him but finally they concede and Steve backs away from TT with his hands in the air showing it was a clean break.
The fans applaud this as TT steps away from the ropes and moves so his back is to a corner. Steve moves to the corner opposite of TT and the two stare each other down once again. Slowly they walk to the middle of the ring where Steve sticks his both his hands in the air, his palms facing TT. At first TT doesn’t seem to like this idea but decides to go along with it as he places his palms to Steve’s and they go into a knuckle lock. Steve forces TT’s arms and shoulders backwards as they begin to fight in the hold. TT braces himself and won’t let Steve push him back but can’t mount any offense of his own. Finally both seem to decide they are at a stalemate and Steve falls down to his back as if to monkey flip TT. Instead though Steve kicks the right arm of TT, making TT break his hold with Steve’s left arm. Steve then swiftly places his right foot on the back of TT’s elbow and his left foot on TT’s left bicep before forcing his legs in the opposite direction of how they are placed, squeezing TT’s arm before tearing at it as Steve lets go of TT’s arm and his legs slide off of it far from smoothly. TT grabs at his arm and he falls to one knee as Steve gets to his feet. Steve’s plan of forcing TT into a wrestling match had worked thus far and he followed it up by kicking at the left arm of TT once he got back to his feet. TT holds his arm even tighter as Steve continues his assault on it but it proves useless as Steve has his way with The Tiger. After a few more stiff kicks to the arm of TT Steve grabs TT by the hair and pulls him to his feet. TT tries to fight Steve off of him with a hard punch to the jaw but Steve retaliates with a vicious chop to the chest of TT that takes TT off his feet. TT quickly gets back up after being knocked down but ends up walking into another brutal chop, and another. As TT stumbles back Steve jumps forward and bashes TT in the face with a vicious forearm. Both TT and Steve fall to the ground but Steve doesn’t stop as he begins to punch at the face of TT. Joe Schmoe is quick to break this up as TT looks seriously hurt after the brutal shots he took from Steve.
After a bit of a struggle Joe is finally able to get Steve off of TT and shove him back into a corner. He then goes over to check on TT who is bleeding from his nose and upper lip. At first Joe thinks about calling for the bell as TT looks out of it but in only a matter of seconds TT sits up. He stares at Steve angrily and holds his head as he pulls himself up using the ropes. As soon as the bottoms of TT’s feet hit the mat Steve walks toward him confidently. TT continues to look away from the ring, hanging his arms over the top rope until Steve get to him and places a hand on his shoulder to turn him around. Much to Steve’s surprise TT turns and nails Steve with a hard punch to the nose. Steve bends over and holds his nose as it begins to bleed slightly as TT turns around fully. Just as Steve goes to stand back up TT slams Steve in the face with a knee that sends the champ to the ground. TT then begins to stomp at the head of Steve before Steve stops moving. Joe wonders about stepping in but TT lets up. Joe steps back into the corner as TT looks down at Steve before turning around and staring at the near corner of the ring. TT quickly goes over to and climbs up the turnbuckles of the corner before standing on the top, possibly looking for the kill early. The crowd cheers loudly as TT jumps into the air and attempts the 540 Splash on a prone Steve. Unfortunately for TT though Steve quickly rolls out of the way and TT hit’s the ground hard. Steve then gets slowly up to his feet as TT sits up on his knees. Without any hesitation Steve charges TT and nails him in the left arm with a running dropkick. TT screams out in pain as he falls forward onto the ground. Steve doesn’t stop there though as he sits up and crawls over to TT. Instead of covering TT though Steve grabs TT’s left arm and stands up with TT’s wrist held. Steve then steps onto the back of TT’s shoulder with his right foot and begins to twist at the arm of TT who cringes in pain. Steve continues to twist and turn the arm violently for a few seconds before he kneels down and lays it across the ground, keeping both of his arms on TT’s arm. Steve then quickly jumps up and right back down onto the arm with his knees making TT pound his other arm against the ground due to the pain.
Steve doesn’t let go of TT’s arm though as he stands up off of it. Instead he pulls TT up to his feet slowly, continuing to twist the wrist and arm as he does so. Once TT is on his feet he tries to turn towards Steve to deliver a punch but Steve jerks TT’s left arm so it is fully extended to the side before swiftly taking the arm and putting TT into a hammerlock. TT cringes once more at the pain inflicted on the arm but is quick to try and hit Steve with an elbow to the head from his right arm. Again Steve proves to be too quick for TT as he not only ducks the elbow but then sticks his right forearm up to catch TT’s arm. From here Steve uses his right arm to put TT into a half nelson before he jumps backwards with TT, hitting him with a vicious Half Nelson Suplex. TT lands hard on the back of his neck but doesn’t have time to think about it as Steve turns over off his back and covers TT with a lateral press, 1...2...TT throws his right shoulder up off the canvas. Although it may have looked somewhat desperate TT wasn’t going to let his shot at the title be for nothing. Steve sits up after the attempted pin on TT smiling somewhat, knowing that he was in for more of a fight than he expected. Slowly Steve gets to his feet as TT rests on the ground. Once Steve is to his feet he waves his hand telling TT to get up but TT doesn’t. Steve looks upset with this but shrugs as he goes over to The Tiger and grabs him by the hair to pull him up. As Steve gets TT to his knees TT hits a hard punch to the abdomen of Steve. TT then jumps up and his and Steve’s heads collide. Both fall to the ground as Steve holds his jaw and TT holds the top of his head. The crowd doesn’t seem to know whether TT meant to do that or not but most are still loving this match. Joe starts a count as the crowd cheers the wrestlers up to their feet, 1...2...3...4...the count is made short as both Steve and TT get to their feet and shake the cobwebs. Before going back into it the two begin to pace around the ring once more, TT shaking his left arm to try and get feeling back in it as Steve starts planning how to get back in the driver’s seat of this match.
Finally Steve and TT seem to be ready again as they come towards the middle of the ring. Steve thinks about his possibilities and decides to ask for another knuckle lock by placing his palms out in the air so they face TT. TT on the other hand has other ideas and as Steve places his hands out TT charges forward at Steve who jerks back and is sent to the ground by a lariat from TT. Steve takes little time to get up but turns around to see TT coming at him again. This time though Steve is ready and as TT goes for another right lariat Steve turns and locks his right arm with TT’s right arm. Steve then uses his weight and power to spin TT around so his back is facing Steve. TT anticipates the next move well though as Steve comes at him looking for a waistlock. With great speed TT falls forward to his hands before lifting his back legs up into the air and kicking a charging Steve away. Steve falls back away from TT as The Tiger gets back to his feet and turns towards Steve, wincing slightly from putting so much weight on his left arm. Steve doesn’t stop try to take TT down though as he charges at TT once again. This time though TT jumps into the air and wraps his legs around Steve’s head before hitting Steve with a Hurricanrana. Steve hit’s the ground hard from the move but he and TT are both up rather quickly. Steve looking even more angry than he was earlier in the match and TT having gained some confidence back after the earlier portions of the match where Steve totally dominated. Neither really notices this much for as soon as they both are up and facing each other Steve charges TT for a third time. This time TT doesn’t have time to think of a clever plan and Steve hits him with a double leg takedown before mounting TT and hitting him with a few vicious punches to the face. As Steve continues his assault on TT the dried blood on The Tiger’s face starts to moisten again as new blood takes its place. Finally after a few more good punches from Steve TT reaches back up above his head and grabs the ropes desperately signaling for Joe to get Steve off of him.
It takes a few seconds but Steve reluctantly gets off TT as Joe tries hard to end the struggle between the two. As Steve stands up he spits on TT who slides out of the ring, hurting badly but also upset. TT is finally beginning to notice Steve has changed some of his style specifically for this match and is now trying to come up with a way to counter it as Joe begins to count. 1...2...3...4...Steve yells at TT to get back in the damn ring but TT continues to rest on the outside. 5...6...7...Finally Steve has had enough and he slides to the outside where TT almost doesn’t notice him at first. It doesn’t take long for TT to see Steve though as Steve grabs TT by the shoulder and turns him so he faces towards Steve. 1...2...3...Steve hits TT with a vicious chop across the chest that knocks TT back a bit. TT retaliates furiously though with a bone shattering chop to the sternum of Steve. 4...5...6...With pain etched across his face Steve slams TT hard in the ribs with a stiff punch and then knocks TT back once again with a brutal chop to TT’s reddening chest. TT fires back once again though with a chop and Steve staggers back. 7...8...9...Steve and TT continue hitting brutal chops to one another and the crowd is going wild for the stiff-fest between the two. Finally though Steve hits TT with one last earth shaking chop to the chest that makes TT fall to the ground and gasp for air. Luckily for TT though Steve hears the count and quickly slides in and out of the ring as the one syllable of the word ‘ten’ starts to come from Joe’s lips. Joe restarts the count as Steve slides back out to the floor but he isn’t able to capitalize on the situation as TT rolls underneath the ring to get away from Steve. 1...2...3...Steve lifts up the ring apron to try and spot TT but doesn’t see TT as The Tiger has already rolled out from under the ring. 4...5...6...Finally Steve gives up his search as TT slowly climbs up onto the ring apron and then onto the top turnbuckle of the corner nearest where Steve is standing on the outside. As TT gets to the top Steve stands and looks up to where TT springs off the top hitting a standing Steve with a TIGER POUNCE TO THE FLOOR!!
The fans begin to go wild after the variation of the Tiger Pounce. They stand on their feet applauding as Joe Schmoe just stares at the competitors laid out on the floor. He forgets he needs to count for a few moments before finally starting again back at one because TT was technically in the ring, 1...2...3...4...5...The fans continue to cheer as TT begins to stir, rolling off of the unmoving body of Steve. 6...7...8...Finally TT forces himself to his feet and pulls Steve up by the hair. TT rolls Steve into the ring as the count reaches 9 and rolls in himself before ten. Quickly TT covers Steve and Joe switches counts, 1...2...2.5 count! Steve just reaches the bottom rope with his foot and TT looks a bit pissed off to say the least as he figured he had the match and the title won. After sitting up TT slowly makes it to his feet and steadies himself using the ropes, finally feeling the effects of the hard blows Steve has hit him with. Steve on the other hand continues to lie still and TT gets an idea. He points to the corner and riles up the fans as he goes over and climbs to the top. TT then signals for another Tiger Pounce but Steve begins to stir. TT changes his plan as Steve gets to his feet. Finally, as Steve turns around, TT jumps off the top onto the shoulders of Steve. TT tries to swing as he wraps his legs around Steve’s head but is caught by Steve who lowers TT’s upper half so TT’s head almost touches the ground. Steve doesn’t go for the Full Fury though but instead begins to kick and stomp at the left arm of the helpless TT. After a few well placed and merciless kicks to TT’s arm The Tiger screams in pain. Steve isn’t finished though as he backs nearer to the corner before swinging TT so he hit’s the bottom turnbuckle and corner post hard arm first. Steve lets go of TT when doing this making him hit the corner viciously then thudding down onto the ground where he lies looking out cold. Steve looks satisfied but tired from the exchange as he pulls TT out away from the corner and covers him, 1...2...2.6 count! Steve and the fans can’t seem to believe TT had any life left in him after that but once again TT proves the odds wrong.
Steve stands back up to his feet and yells for TT to get up as well. TT tries to but continues having problem with his arm as he sits up on his knees. Steve becomes impatient and kicks TT in the arm again before grabbing TT’s head and pulling TT to his feet. Still dazed and hurting TT can do little more than watch as Steve kicks him in the gut. From there Steve puts TT into a standing head scissors and hooks his arms. Steve then tries to lift TT off the ground but luckily, thanks to Steve wearing himself out earlier, TT is able to block it without too much trouble. As TT lands back safely down on his feet though Steve keeps TT’s arms hooked and in the standing head scissors. Steve looks like he is going to try and lift TT up again but instead he slams his right knee into TT’s face, splattering blood from TT’s nose onto the ground. Steve then swiftly lifts TT up before hitting him with the Absolute Atonement! The fans cheer loudly yet looked a bit shocked as TT is driven down to the canvas neck first. Quickly Steve falls to his knees before covering TT, making sure to hook TT’s leg, 1...2...2.9 count! TT grabs the ropes tightly in his hands, showing a bit of life and surprising the crowd once more. Steve doesn’t let his mind become occupied with this though. He stands up somewhat slowly, knowing that TT is in serious pain even while resting, before grabbing TT by the arms and dragging him to the middle of the ring. Once TT is in the center of the ring Steve lets go of TT’s right arm and puts his left into a masterfully done Crucifix Armbar. The Tiger screams out in pain as Steve tries to hyperextend his arm. The crowd is on their feet now, some willing TT to tap, others wanting him to make it to the ropes, but all of them knowing that Steve’s strategy has paid off almost too well. Steve continues to decimate the arm of TT and yells at TT to tap but TT continues to refuse. Slowly TT begins to fight to the ropes, making a good portion of the crowd get behind him. Just as TT comes within a finger tips length of the ropes Steve turns the assault on the arm up a notch as he continually falls to his back, sits up, and does it again, stretching and ripping at the arm each time. TT begins once again to yell in pain but he is able to just put his hand on the bottom rope.
Steve doesn’t want to relinquish the hold and makes it a known fact as he yells for Joe to go **** himself when Joe tries to get Steve to break the hold. With no other option Joe makes a count to DQ Steve, 1...2...3...4...Just as Joe gets to five Steve breaks the hold. TT keeps his grip on the ropes and tries to pull himself to the outside as Steve stands up and yells at Joe once again but is only able to get his upper half on the ring apron before Steve turns, grabs TT by the legs, and pulls him back into the ring. As Steve gets TT’s upper half clear of the ropes TT begins kicking his legs to get Steve off of him. Steve won’t let go at first but is finally pushed off by a small flurry of kicks and then one big double leg push. Steve falls back into the ropes and TT tries to get up but Steve bounces off the ropes and comes at TT again just as TT gets to his knees. TT falls flat to his stomach as Steve comes at him, forcing Steve to jump over him. Amazingly though Steve isn’t just able to stop after the jump but he does a Standing Moonsault to TT as he tries to push himself to his feet. Steve quickly rolls TT over apparently to cover TT who seems to have had the wind knocked out of him slightly but instead Steve grabs TT’s left arm and places him in another Crucifix Armbar! TT uses what breath he has to yell out in pain as Steve once again rips at the arm and shoulder of TT, causing immense pain to him. Steve laughs cruelly as he inflicts more damage on the already injured shoulder of TT. The crowd in the arena is now in an uproar once again, everyone either yelling for TT to tap out or for TT to get to the ropes. Steve tells the TT fans to shut up as he continues to decimate the left arm and shoulder of TT. The fans don’t listen though as they keep yelling for the great action and intense struggle. Finally it seems TT has no choice but to submit but just as he raises his hand up to tap Steve lets go of the hold causing a mass reaction of jeers.
TT holds his arm close to him as he continues to lie on the ground. Steve raises to his feet though and says that TT is going to pay his dues before grabbing TT by the hair and pulling him slowly to his feet. Once TT is up Steve doesn’t let him have any time to steady himself before he slaps the chest of TT violently. Steve then follows it up with another steel cutting tough chop that he has laid on TT all night. The Tiger falls to the ground after the chop, once again breathing hard as Steve becomes even more cocky. Steve doesn’t showboat however but instead he grabs TT by the hair again. Another rib shattering chop to the chest takes TT down once more and now Steve can feel the win coming. Once again Steve slowly drags TT up to his feet. He doesn’t immediately hit TT this time though but instead gets in the face of TT and starts talking trash to him. Steve doesn’t expect what happens next though as TT slaps Steve viciously, sending Steve to the ground holding his face and cursing TT. Quite a few fans cheer this and TT now knows he has to think of something quickly to take Steve out with. He picks Steve up to the ground by the head like Steve had done to him before hitting Steve in the abdomen with a rough punch. TT then takes Steve by the wrist and whips him into the corner where Steve hits hard back first. From there TT runs at Steve and hits him with a big right elbow to the head in the corner making Steve fall to the ground and roll slightly out of the corner holding his face. TT sees his opportunity and climbs to the top before hitting Steve with an unexpected Tiger Pounce!! The fans rise to their feet once again cheering but notice that TT can’t make the cover. Instead he is holding his chest and ribs and breathing hard, knowing that he had fallen for Steve’s trap. That doesn’t stop TT for long though as he still has a chance to pin Steve and does after a few seconds, 1...2...2.9 count!! Steve is just able to kick out and TT falls over to his back clutching his ribs, chest, and left arm along with breathing heavily. He curses Steve in his head but Steve also seems to be unable to move.
Joe sees both competitors down and starts the count, 1...2...3...4...Steve begins to stir, 5...6...TT also begins to stir as Steve pulls himself to his feet using the ropes. 7...8...9...TT begins to use the ropes as well and both are just able to get to their feet before the ten count. Neither man makes a quick move but instead TT backs away from the corner while Steve uses it to rest, both knowing that all they need now is one move to finish this. Finally after what seems like an eternity the two come together near the center of the ring. They don’t go into a lock up though but instead they stare each other down. The first shot is thrown by TT who hits Steve with a punch to the face and hopes to distract Steve from his arm, even if it does mean taking more punishment. Steve doesn’t retalitate with a strike though but instead he backs away. TT yells something at Steve but Steve continues to back up into the ropes, smiling. Suddenly Steve runs forward, right past TT without hitting him though. TT whirls around as Steve bounces off the opposite set of ropes and is caught with a neck snapping lariat! TT flips in the air as Steve falls down, the force of the lariat making fans hold their heads while cheering uncontrollably. Slowly Steve gets up to his hands and knees and shoves TT over to his back and covers TT, 1...2...2.9 count!! TT throws a shoulder up and the crowd is livid, wondering what the hell these guys will go down for. Most had figured TT wouldn’t be able to stand up let alone kick out but once again both Steve and TT slowly get to their feet. Steve makes it up first while TT is still on his knees and he nails TT with a brutal kick in the face. TT falls backwards before turning to get on his hands and knees. Steve fires another kick at TT though before he is able to stand up that nails him right in the ribs. Everyone in the crowd thinks Steve is going to go ballistic on TT now but instead Steve lets TT slowly get to his feet using the ropes the next time. As soon as TT turns around though Steve hits him with a kick to the gut. Steve then tries to set TT into a standing head scissors and turn him towards the center of the ring. Steve is able to do this but TT breaks out as soon as he is in. He hits Steve with a hard right forearm to the face before grabbing Steve by the shoulders. TT is shocked though as Steve throws TT’s right arm off of his left shoulder and hooks TT’s left arm with his arms before nailing TT with a MODIFIED TWISTER!! TT screams in pain before laying still as Steve quickly covers, 1...2...3!!!
"And the winner of the match-up and STILL your BTWF World Heavyweight Champion, 'The White Phoenix', Steve "Savior" Twist!"
The fans applaud loudly for both men as they lie motionless on the ground. TT's arm feels like it is about ready to fall off as Steve smiles and rests. Finally after a bit of waiting Steve gets up off the ground and is handed his BTWF Championship before having his hand raised by Joe Schmoe. The crowd gives him a standing ovation and is glad Steve has proved more of why he is the BTWF Champion here tonight. TT continues to lay mostly still on the mat. Steve though doesn't like it and has a microphone thrown to him before helping TT up. Finally as TT stands on his feet the fans applaud for him and Steve begins to speak.
"Alright are you satisfied now? Once again I've proven why I am the best in the BTWF. No matter who it is. But I'll give you credit TT, you were a tough son of a bitch. That being said, shake my damn hand."
Steve sticks his hand out and some of the crowd cheers while others don't know what to think. Finally TT decides and sticks his hand out as well before shaking hands with Steve. TT was taken to his limit by Steve tonight and he knows it as the two unlock hands and TT goes off to the back as Steve continues to celebrate. Just as TT steps backstage a dark figure comes out of the crowd. He jumps the barricade and slips under the bottom ring rope before standing up behind Steve. He is dressed in a Ottawa Senators hockey jersey and a pair of black denim jeans but keeps his face hidden under some type of black mask. Before Steve has a chance to even turn around the mystery man nails him in the back of the head with a pair of brass knuckles that he has on his right fist. Steve falls to the ground like a sack of bricks and his mystery assailant seems satisfied. He then takes Steve's legs and puts him into a hold that is very familiar to Steve and the crowd. It should be at least as the figure takes the black mask off of his face while keeping in his signature hold. Omega continues to punish the knocked out Steve and the crowd seems shocked to see him. They don't wait long before jeering him greatly though and putting a smile on the former Gaia Champion's face. Finally after he has inflicted enough damage on Steve he lets go of the Omega Prison and grabs the microphone left on the ground by Steve.
"Three words: Omega...Is...Back."
With that Omega drops the microphone to the ground and laughs, thinking of what he has in store for Steve and the future of the BTWF as we fade to nothingness.
