Cross steps forward now that all three men are in their corners. "And now it is time to introduce the participants! First, to my immediate right: From Denver, Colorado, weighing in at two hundred one pounds, he is the CEO and President of the Barton Town Wrestling Federation, and the special guest referee for this match, the Sayvior...BRIAN BLADE!!!" Blade throws one hand up in the air as the crowd responds with jeers mostly except for the BBFC. Blade just smirks, lowering his arm and turning to face Cross.
"Introducing next, to my immediate right, from Cape Coral, Florida, weighing in at two hundred thirty-five pounds, he was the first ever BTWF World Heavyweight Champion, and is a former Small Fry Champion, the special ring enforcer for this match...HELL'S GUARDIAN!!!" Hell throws both arms up in the air, the crowd responding with a huge pop for him. He lowers his arms after a few moments, nodding to Cross to continue.
"In the corner to my left, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at two hundred seventy-five pounds, he an Archetype of eXcellence...The X Factor...DARSON GRAYS!!!" Dar walks forward and throws his arms up into an X, the crowd responding by getting up on their feet and letting out a huge cheer, Dar smiling as he looks out over the crowd for a few moments before lowering his arms.
"In the corner to my right, from Muskegon, Michegan, weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds, he is The Savior of the BTWF...The White Phoenix...STEVE TWIST!!!" Twist throws his arms out to the side and falls down to one knee, tossing his head back as the crowd responds with another huge pop, Twist soaking it in for a few moments before standing back up and stepping back into his corner.
"And finally, in the corner in front of me, from Ottawa, Onatario, Canada, weighing in at two hundred twenty-eight pounds, he is the Man of One Thousand Holds...The current reigning and defending BTWF World Heavyweight Champion...The Crimson Dragon...OMEGA!!!" Omega walks forward and lifts his belt up in the air again, the crowd responding with a huge amount of jeers and boos. Omega ignores them, Cross now exiting the ring as Brian Blade steps forward, Omega handing his title belt to him. Blade raises the belt up in the air and turns to face all four directions of the ring, showing the belt to all three competitors before walking over to the edge of the ring and handing it to an official before turning to face the competitors, asking if they're all ready, and after receiving an affirmative from each, steps back and motions for the bell, thus starting the main event.
DING DING DING!
The bell rings and all three men come out away from their corners as Blade stands off to the side and allows them full access to going at each other. All of the participants in this match are cautious though, not wanting to make a mistake early in that may cost them later on. Each keeps their head moving from one opponent to another waiting for the chance to strike. The tension continues to build as the Barton crowd begins to clap, showing how much this match means to them and getting into it despite the whole night being a very special one with a lot of good and great matches. Finally all three men begin to slowly circle around the ring and closing in on each other. Suddenly the first offense of the match is made by Steve who hits Omega with a speedy double leg takedown before grabbing the right leg of Omega and kicking at it. Darson doesn't want to be left out as after all it was he who should be the ONLY contender in this match so he comes up behind Twist and grabs him but the shoulder before spinning the former Gaia and BTWF World Heavyweight Champion to face him. This causes Twist to let go of Omega's leg and the champion scurries away into the nearest corner while Darson and Steve go face to face in the middle of the ring. Neither man makes a move at first but suddenly Steve throws a right hand and stops just short of Darson's face before pulling back. With an arrogant look on his face Twist backs away from Darson and tells the bigger man to take a shot at him. Darson thinks about it and brings his hand back to get ready to hit Twist with a chop. Steve waits for it and Darson's hand lashes out but it quickly slows down and Darson barely touches with a chop. The crowd lets out a "Woooo" for this as the mind games continue between Darson and Steve as Omega waits in the corner still ready to strike when the opportunity presents itself. Steve seems slightly annoyed at first but then laughs it off and tells Darson that was a good one before going to kick him in the gut. Darson catches Twist's foot though and throws it back down before hitting Steve with a kick to the abdomen and planting him with a quick DDT. Steve grabs his head on the ground and asks Darson what that was for. Darson just responds with "I owed you" before getting back up off the ground.
With Darson's back turned to him Omega rushes out of the corner and hits Darson in the back of the head with a forearm shot. Darson grabs the back of his head as Omega hits a couple more before kicking the bigger man in the back of his right knee. The X Factor won't go down that easily though but Omega isn't going to give up easy either as he delivers a few more hard, calculating kicks to the back of Darson's legs that finally make the man fall to his knees. With an advantage now Omega clubs Darson across the face with a few brutal looking crossfaces that make Darson grab at his face and bend down so his upper half is closer to the ground. The BTWF Champion seems pleased with himself as he now circles around Darson and kicks him in the midsection and head a few times while Darson is down holding his head in his hands with a possibly broken nose. What Omega fails to notice though is Steve getting up behind him and measuring him for something. Without warning Steve jumps up behind Omega and dropkicks him in the back of the knees, making the champion fall backwards and to the ground. Darson rolls away from the collision of the two hated rivals and over under the ropes as Twist gets back on his feet and circles around Omega before grabbing his right leg and turning him over into a Single Leg Boston Crab. Steve pulls back on Omega's leg with great satisfaction, aiming his attack at Omega's leg because of what Omega had done to him in their Hell in a Cell match. Omega cringes in pain as Steve keeps on stretching his leg. Some of the Barton fans are on their feet wondering if this could possibly be the end already and it may be as Steve suddenly sits on Omega's back and pulls Omega's leg back even more so it almost is straight up in the air. The champion cries out in pain as Steve continues pulling back and yelling "how do you like it" at Omega who can't even make a move to get to the ropes. Just as it seems like the 'Crimson Dragon' will have to tap he is saved by Darson Grays who is back up and nails Steve in the face with a Yakuza Kick that sends the Savior down and also makes him release the hold on Omega. Steve immediately grabs his face and rolls over to under the nearest set of ropes just as Darson had before him due to possible injury.
As Twist rolls over under the ropes Omega rolls over to his front and grabs his right leg and tries to move it around slightly to shake off the effects of the hold. He doesn't get much time to do this though as Darson stomps on his midsection to remind the champ not to take him lightly and forget he is in this match too before he grabs Omega by the head and hauls him to his feet. Darson doesn't seem quite sure what to do with Omega at first but as he gets the champion up to his feet he decides and places Omega into a front facelock. Darson holds Omega in this position for a few moments before lifting him into the air. Instead of going for a Vertical Suplex though Darson lets Omega drop down to his feet behind Darson while Dar still has Omega's head and neck held before Dar drops down and hits Omega with a neckbreaker. The 'man of 1000 holds' falls down along with Darson and after landing holds his neck in pain as Darson rolls over on top of him with a lateral press for the first cover of the match, 1...2...Omega kicks out pretty easily despite Blade not showing any favoritism to him with the count. Dar doesn't seem surprised at all though and gets back to his feet quickly before bending down and grabbing Omega back off the ground once more. Once The X Factor has Omega back on his feet he bends the champion over and hits him with a few clubbing blows to the back of Omega's neck to further weaken what is a vulnerable area for any wrestler. After four strikes to the back of Omega's neck Darson places him into a front facelock once more and seems to have something big in mind but surprisingly the champion shows some fight and begins to hit Darson with some fists to the gut. Dar looks to stop this assault with one move as he pulls his leg back and goes to hit Omega with a knee but the 'Crimson Dragon' pulls out of the facelock just in time to make Darson miss with the knee. The force Darson put behind the knee causes him to lose his balance as Omega slips free and allows the champ time to regain his composure quickly. For a moment both men just stand waiting for the other to make a move in the center of the ring but then begin to pace slowly in a circle around the ring to go into a lock up.
The Barton fans begin to clap once more as Dar and Omega continue to circle around the ring and as the claps die down they finally come together in the middle of the squared circle with a collar and elbow tie-up. Neither man seems to have the clear cut advantage at first but sensing Darson's strength Omega knows that it won't stay that way and goes to work on what he really had planned in doing this and that is going after the legs of the big man again. Omega does this by keeping Darson in the lock up and lashing out with some hard kicks to the left leg of Darson but before he can score too many good shots Dar shoves him off and to the ground breaking the lock between the two. With a look of bewilderment on his face Omega stares up at Darson while Dar just shakes his head and says "you're going to have to do better than that". As he stands back up to his feet Omega says "ok I will" but that plan has a quick end to it as he has his back turned to the ropes Steve was under and the Savior is now standing on the ring apron. Shooting Dar a smirk quickly Twist yells at Omega to turn around which he does and after is fed a Springboard Forearm from Steve who jumps up onto the top rope and off at Omega. Both men fall to the ground hard but it is obvious that Omega managed to get the worst of the exchange as he is spread out on his back looking up at the ceiling of the arena. Without even thinking of the other man in this match Steve goes over to cover Omega but before Blade can even administer the count Darson kicks Steve off and allows Omega to roll over to the ring apron under the ropes like the other two had before him. Slowly 'The White Phoenix' makes his way up to his feet and doesn't seem too happy with the crude manner of how Darson reminded him of his involvement in the match. Back on the soles of his wrestling boots Twist stares at Darson and smirks before beginning to pace around the ring. Darson returns Steve's smirk with a grin and does the same as the crowd begins to clap even louder than they did for the lock up between Dar and Omega. After a semi-circle around the ring the two come back together in the center and go into a classic collar and elbow tie-up as the clapping from the crowd continues.
Locked up in the middle of the ring at one of the biggest events in BTWF history Twist and Dar stand fighting for control. While Darson may be bigger and have the strength advantage for his size Steve is very strong and won't give up in a fight no matter what the odds are. The battle between the men appears to be a stalemate at first but suddenly the crowd is shocked as Darson takes a step backwards. Most of the fans are now at the edge of their seat as two of their favorites go at it with one of the men who put the BTWF on the map winning at the moment. Unfortunately for Steve though Darson doesn't take another step back and instead goes a step forward before slowly forcing Steve to step back. Now the lock up isn't about gaining ground in this match but instead is about pride and Twist digs deep to find the strength to step forward, leaving he and Darson at another stalemate. Just as it seems one man will finally break though Steve breaks the hold and speedily circles around Darson. Once behind Dar Twist grabs Darson's left arm and places it behind Dar's back in a Hammerlock to keep the bigger man from being able to just turn around. Not much time is wasted though before Dar goes to hit Steve with his right elbow but Steve ducks it and keeps the Hammerlock in, now possibly showing that he might be working on the arm too instead of just using it to limit Darson's mobility. With the Hammerlock still in Steve frees up his right arm and hits Darson in the back of the neck with a few hard forearm shots that serve to continue progress on hurting Darson's neck while still working on one of Darson's main weapons, his arm. After landing some blows to Dar's neck Darson seems to be favoring it, thus allowing Steve to wrench in the Hammerlock more and start to bring Darson down to the ground. The life the fans in the Barton arena had shown earlier seems to have been sucked away as Steve goes about picking Darson apart in his own way. Dar falls to a knee as Twist continues to try and wrench Darson's arm off, trying to go much higher with it than would be allowed in amateur wrestling. Suddenly though the life comes back into Darson and the Barton fans as The X Factor stands back up on his feet and catches Steve in the side of the head with an elbow and another which makes Twist break the hold and stagger backwards into the ropes.
Dar clutches his shoulder, backing off a bit from Twist and shaking his arm out, rolling his neck once as well. As Twist steps off the ropes, Dar smirks a bit, raising one hand up in the air as if to initiate a Knucklelock. Twist watches Dar for a moment, then nods, reaching forward and participating in the test of strength. Once both men's hands are locked, Dar takes a quick advantage, using his strength to force Twist's arms down. Twist attempts to bring his arms back up, and manages to elevate them to a height level with his mid-section. Twist knows he can't win a pure test of strength against Dar, and thus decides to end the Knucklelock, bringing his leg up to push Dar's arm away, but Dar suddenly slams his forehead into Twist's with a vicious Headbutt. Steve staggers backwards, bringing his leg back down to steady himself and keep from falling over. Dar squeezes Twist's hands tightly to prevent him from pulling away from the Knucklelock, then hits a series of Headbutts right into Twist's forehead, knocking the White Phoenix back. Twist seems dazed after the assault, and Dar brings Twist's arms up and starts to push down on Twist's hands, forcing his wrists to bend back towards his forearms. Twist cringes, eventually falling to one knee from Dar using his strength as well as bending over a bit to try and force some of his bodyweight down onto Twist's arms as well. Twist slowly starts to inch his leg forward, however, finally managing to slip it behind Dar's leg, quickly sweeping it back and taking one of Dar's legs out from under him. Dar tries to shift his leg out and plant it to keep himself from falling, but he's already going over, falling onto his back and releasing the Knucklelock as he does so. Twist doesn't let go of Dar's left hand, however, instead standing up and dropping to the side, pulling Dar's arm down to the mat and pushing his feet against Dar's side, locking in a Crucifix Armbar. Dar cringes at his shoulder being worked on again, trying to shift his legs forward to get to the ropes, but he doesn't need to due to Omega having entered the ring and coming over to hit a swift kick right into Twist's ribs, forcing Twist to break the hold.
Omega seems rather annoyed at being caught with the Springboard Flying Forearm Twist gave him earlier, the Crimson Dragon following up his initial attack with a series of stomps to Twist's side and back. Dar stands up after a moment, letting Omega occupy himself with Twist while he shakes off the pain in his shoulder. Dar decides to roll out of the ring and let his arm heal. Omega doesn't notice, picking up Twist after a few more stomps and grabbing his arm, whipping him into the corner roughly. Omega grabs the middle ropes, bending down and driving his shoulder forward into Twist's gut, picking up his leg and throwing it forward to get more momentum. Omega does this twice more before backing off, Twist falling down to a sitting position and clutching his stomach. Omega backs up a bit towards the middle of the ring, then runs forward, grabbing the top ropes and pulling them forward to gain more momentum, driving his knee right into Twist's face. The crowd jeers this, but Omega ignores them, pulling Twist out of the corner by his legs and hitting a quick stomp on Twist's injured limb, Omega going right to work on the same leg that he locked the Omega's Prison on back at Mutual Annihilation. Omega starts to twist Steve's leg around as if to go for a Half Boston Crab, but Twist responds with a sudden kick to Omega's knee, quickly following it up with a few more strikes that make Omega back off after a few moments, the Crimson Dragon glaring down at Twist. Twist kips up, limping slightly as he does so, but suddenly flies forward with a Lou Thesz Press, taking Omega down to the mat. Twist begins to connect a series of clubbing blows right into Omega's face and temples, Omega lifting up his arms and trying to cover up, managing not to take the brunt of Twist's blows.
Finally, Twist decides to stop the striking, standing up and grabbing Omega's legs this time, starting to twist them around as if to go for a Figure Four, but as Twist turns around, Omega manages to get one leg free and push it off against Twist's back, making the Savior stumble forward into the ropes. Omega rolls up to a standing position, the crowd cheering for the series the two went through there. Twist turns around as Omega dashes forward in an attempt to Clothesline him over the ropes, but Twist ducks it, grabbing Omega's legs and attempting to toss him over the ropes instead. Omega lands on the apron, however, turning around as Twist does, but ducks and hits a quick shoulder into Twist's gut through the ropes, then reaches forward and grabs Twist's head, jumping off the apron and guillotining it down against the ropes, Twist falling backwards from the elasticity, clutching his neck and coughing. Omega turns out to the crowd and flips a fan off as a show of disrespect to Twist and the fans that love him, but his gesture is interrupted by a sudden forearm to the back of the head by Dar, who then grabs Omega's head and slams it down onto the edge of the ring before rolling him under the bottom rope and into the ring. Dar gives a quick grin to the fans before moving into the ring as well, grabbing Omega by the head and lifting him up, pulling him into a Front Facelock and holding him in a Headlock for a few moments before reaching forward and hooking Omega's leg before quickly falling backwards and hitting a Snap Fisherman's Suplex. Dar holds this position in a bridge, Blade moving over to make the count. "1...2" Omega kicks out righ at the two, Blade once again showing that he isn't playing any favorites in this match. Dar doesn't seem very frustrated at the two count, not expecting Omega to go down so easily with the title on the line.
Twist has gotten up at this point, the White Phoenix looking up to see Dar lifting Omega up once again. Twist quickly moves over to Dar, conversing with him for a moment before getting a nod from Dar. The two men each grab one of Omega's arms before whipping him across the ring, Dar catching him as he comes back and flipping him up over his back as if in a Back Body Drop, but keeps a hold on Omega's head, pulling him down into a sudden Neckbreaker! Twist follows this up by running forward and hitting a low Front Dropkick right into Omega's chest, the crowd cheering the teamwork from their two favorites. Dar releases Omega's head, standing up and stepping back, offering Omega to Twist. Twist seems a bit annoyed at Dar's slight cockyness, but doesn't miss the chance to beat on his hated rival, grabbing Omega by the head and lifting him up, Omega suddenly lashing out in the attempt of a Toekick, but Twist catches his leg and takes him down with a Dragon Screw. Twist keeps a hold on Omega's leg once he falls to the mat, however, rolling Omega onto his stomach with it and suddenly twisting it up to lock in an STF! Omega cringes as his knee is hyperextended and his neck is wrenched back by Twist, the crowd cheering at getting to see Omega being put in this agonizing submission maneuver. Dar watches this happen, waiting until the pain seems to be really affecting Omega before moving over and hitting a swift kick into Twist's ribs, making him move off Omega and release the hold, Dar not wanting to take the chance of letting Twist keep the hold on too long and having Omega tap out. The crowd doesn't seem very happy at this, but don't seem to have a distinct preference on Dar or Twist either way.
Dar reaches down to pick Omega up, pulling him into a Front Facelock and lifting him up in the air for a Vertical Suplex, but is suddenly met with a kick to the gut from Twist, the White Phoenix obviously not happy with Dar having interrupted his submission hold. Dar lets Omega fall back to stand in front of him, pushing the Crimson Dragon away before turning to face Twist, coming forward with a quick forearm shot into the side of Twist's head. Omega takes this time to roll under the bottom ropes and out of the ring, taking some time to rest up and let the pain in his leg and neck wear off. Dar and Twist begin to exchange strikes, Dar hitting forearms while Twist retaliates with vicious chops, Twist finally getting an advantage and chaining a few chops together before pushing Dar up against the ropes and whipping him across the ring, catching him as he comes back with an Arm Drag and pulling Dar's arm right up into an Armbar after hitting the maneuver. Dar cringes as his arm is wrenched up by Twist, trying to shift his body over towards the ropes, but Twist pulls back. Eventually, though, Dar's long legs enable him to get over to the ropes, setting his foot on the bottom one. Blade begins the DQ count, Twist letting go at two, seeming a little angry at having to break the hold. Dar shifts back against the ropes, preventing Twist from attacking him and using the time to pull himself up and shake off some of the pain in his shoulder. Twist seems a bit annoyed at having to wait for Dar, but doesn't try to attack early, waiting until Dar moves off the ropes before coming forward, the two starting to circle around the middle of the ring, staring each other down and ready to lock up once again.
Both men continue to circle at a slow pace, each letting wounds begin to heal instead of foolishly rushing into a lock up and injuring themselves further. As Steve and Darson nod to each other that they are ready to come together in the middle of the ring Twist is suddenly taken off his feet and pulled to the outside by Omega who seems to have regained his wits and composure. Once Steve lands on his feet on the outside Omega rakes the eyes of 'The White Phoenix' before putting him into a front facelock and kneeing him in the abdomen a few times to soften up the midsection of Steve even more. While this is going on Darson seems to be content to watch from the ring and rest since it really isn't any of his business and it isn't like either man can get a three count while they are on the outside of the ring. With Dar watching from inside the ring Omega continues to hit knees to the gut of Steve, making sure to use his left leg though as his right leg seems to be bothering him quite a bit. After Omega feels he has softened Twist up enough he lets him out of the front facelock and grabs Steve by the hair before turning with Steve so Omega's back is facing the barricade on the outside while Twist is facing towards it although bent over clutching his stomach. The confident champion then pulls Steve's hair up enough to get Twist to stand up almost straight and allow Omega to then hook Steve for a T-Bone Suplex. This has been a favorite of Omega's though and through their series of matches Steve has learned to counter it and does now by blocking the move and giving Omega an eye rake of his own. Omega stumbles backwards holding his eyes as Twist continues to clutch at his midsection. After trying the best he can to shake off the pain Steve walks over to where Omega is now holding himself up on the ring barricade. Twist looks down at his adversary and grins before slamming Omega across the back with his forearm which makes Omega come off the ring barricade and falls to his knees. Another shot is then delivered right to the back of Omega's neck and the 'Crimson Dragon' cringes in pain as a weak point for him and any other champion is struck. Steve continues to toy around with Omega as he hits another vicious forearm shot to the back of Omega's neck before finally pulling Omega up by his hair.
With the champion at his mercy Steve sees this as the time to strike and do some real damage so he pulls Omega around by the hair so he is facing Twist and the barricade while Steve positions his back to the barricade so he is off of it by a couple feet. With everyone around the ringside area standing on their feet the Savior pulls Omega into position for a Wrist-Clutch Exploder before hitting Omega with an Exploder '98 that makes him slam into the steel ring barricade, very reminiscent of how he slammed Omega into the cell at MA with the same move. Many people in the crowd can be seen on camera cringing at how Omega hits as the champion flops down and appears to be done not only with that exchange but with this match period. Inside the ring Darson's eyes light up at the prospect of Steve having eliminated the other variable in a title win for himself. The X Factor stands up from where he has been resting on the ring ropes in the corner and walks over to the ropes near where Twist and Omega are still laid out on the floor, leaning on the top rope and looking down at them wondering if he should go outside and grab one to bring them in and pin or wait for Steve to come to him. He decides on waiting for his prey as the Savior begins to stir on the outside and slowly starts to get up onto his feet. Once up Steve looks down at Omega and then Darson back in the ring before looking back down at Omega and grabbing him by the head to pick him up. When Darson sees this inside the ring an anger inside of him becomes apparent as he is being totally overlooked by Steve as a threat in this match. This cues Dar to charge back into the ropes furthest from where he was standing and then bouncing off and coming back before launching himself through the second and top ropes to hit a Tope to the outside on Steve and partially Omega! Anyone who wasn't on their feet before are now as such a feat is rarely performed by a large individual like Darson, not to mention once more that he is a fan favorite in Barton. On the inside of the ring Blade just looks out at the wrestlers, his investments, and doesn't seem too happy of what they are putting themselves through. As the crowd begins a thunderous clap to get Darson and Twist back to their feet though Blade remembers just how many people are watching from the arena and at home and finds comfort in this fact.
First up on the outside is Dar who seems to be the least hurt of the three although as he gets up he is seen holding his left arm which he must've hit on the dive to the floor. Fighting through the pain though Dar uses his right arm to grab the hair of Twist who is just beginning to get up to his knees after being nailed by that last high impact move from Darson. Slowly Darson brings Steve up to his feet and once he has the Savior there he uses his other arm to be able to throw Twist back into the ring and then roll himself back in as well. As soon as Dar gets into the ring he quickly places himself on Twist and hooks a leg for the cover, 1...2...Steve kicks out and shows that it is going to take a lot more than that to keep him down. The X Factor sits up on his knees and looks a little lost as to what to do to put Steve away and win the match. It doesn't take a whole lot of time for him to solve his problem though and stand up, bringing Steve along with him as he gets to his feet. Now as the pain is becoming more and more evident to the wrestlers participating in this match Darson decides to exploit the pain Steve is feeling in his midsection and picks him up into a DVD position before hitting him with a signature of his, the Vortex Buster. As Twist is dropped hard on the knee of Dar he cringes in pain and after falling to the ground grabs at his stomach immediately. Not one to let an opportunity slip Dar goes down and makes a cover on Steve as he continues to roll around in pain, 1...2...Twist kicks out again and now the frustration Darson is feeling begins to come into play as he smacks his hands against the ground and flashes Blade a look that says "you're kidding right?" Blade shakes his head though and continues to tell Darson is was just a two count as the AoE leader begins to get to his feet once more with 'The White Phoenix' in tow. This time as Darson lifts Steve to his feet Twist tries to fight back and hits a weak punch to the jaw of Darson. The bigger man quickly shuts this attempt to fight back by Steve down with a hard punch from his right hand that connects with the higher abdominal area of Steve. Twist bends back over in pain once again clutching his gut as Darson sets him into a front facelock and then lifts 'The White Phoenix' into the air. Dar holds Steve up for a few moments, letting the blood rush to his head, before turning to face the ropes and dropping Steve abdomen first across the top rope.
Twist screams out in pain as he is stuck hanging up on the top rope and Darson seems pleased with himself. A few moments pass before Darson finally grabs Steve back into a front facelock and then begins to step back away from the ropes, making Steve come over back into the ring up until only his feet are left holding him on the ropes. From here Darson drives Steve into the ground with a brutal double arm DDT and is quickly back on top of Steve for another cover, 1...2...2.5 count! Steve kicks out but not as easily as before, showing that the work Darson has done is beginning to pay off. As Darson gets up to his feet again he can feel the win coming, the crowd beginning to get louder as he steps away from Twist and almost into the corner opposite near where Steve is lying on the canvas. Everything seems to be coming together for The X Factor as he waits ready to strike near the corner. At an unusually slow pace for him Twist begins to pull himself up from off the ground using the ropes, the aches and pains really starting to bug him now. Many fans in the Barton arena begin to stand on their feet and Brian Blade watches from a corner away from both competitors as a title change seems to be iminent. Finally Steve manages to make it up to his feet before turning around and getting nailed by Darson with a SPEAR! The crowd roars in anticipation as Dar slams into Twist and then covers him, making sure to hook Steve's right leg, 1...2...2.999 count! Twist BARELY sticks his foot on the bottom rope to break the count and while some of the crowd is relieved others can't believe that once again Dar has come so close to winning the title yet been unable to actually put it around his waist. Darson sits up giving Blade another look but this time one that says "what do I have to do to finally beat this man!?" Blade doesn't seem to have an answer for Dar as The X Factor slowly pushes himself back onto his feet looking as though if he can't win soon he is just going to break down. The feeling of despair leaves Darson though as the fans begin to chant "Darson, Darson, Darson" as he gets to his feet. Somehow they seem to know that this will be his night and he doesn't want to let them down. Looking down at Twist who is struggling just to breathe Darson goes back over to the corner where he had waited before to hit Steve with the Spear, looking to go for another one possibly. Before Steve can even get up off his back though he is pulled to the outside by Omega.
Neither the crowd or Dar can believe that Omega is back up after taking that nasty bump earlier on but somehow the 'Crimson Dragon' still has some life in him and won't let his title be taken from him without even being involved in the decsion. Omega slides back into the ring after pulling Twist out to the floor and is back up on his feet in little time, ready to go toe to toe with Darson without Steve being involved possibly for the rest of the match now. Omega has a pretty good limp going as he and Darson begin to circle around the ring but it is Dar who looks worse for wear. He expended a lot of energy trying to take Twist out and become the new BTWF World Heayweight Champion and now it is coming back to haunt him as exhaustion sets in. Trying to feed off the energy of the crowd though Darson struggles on and the two come together in the middle of the ring for a collar and elbow tie-up. Unlike how they would usually be matched up there is no clear cut advantage in the beginning of the lock up and it doesn't seem like either man can really make one as Darson already seems to be running on borrowed energy until he can find a way to get in some rest and Omega's hurt leg and neck aren't going to allow him to employ his strength well. The two men continue to struggle in the hold but finally just break off and back away from each other as they can't seem to do a lot else without having it become a mistake that may end up costing them the match. Once again Omega and Darson start to circle around the ring, staring intently at each other both men try to find a weakness to exploit in the other that may not be one they are showing so obviously. After a semi-circle around the ring the two competitors come to the middle of the ring again but this time as they meet Omega smacks Dar across the chest with a chop. Darson feels the pain shoot through his body but isn't going to let it bother him as he then winds up and goes for a chop but Omega ducks it and grabs Darson's already hurt left arm before twisting around Dar and placing him into a Hammerlock much like Twist had earlier in the match. Omega doesn't stop there but also targets the back of Darson's neck by freeing up his right arm while keeping the Hammerlock in with his left arm and striking Dar across the back of the neck with a chop.
Dar cringes as the pain floods through him as Omega wrenches up on his shoulder with the Hammerlock, but keeps his cool, leaning his head forward as Omega goes for another chop, still taking the maneuver, but with not as much force as Omega intended. Dar suddenly leans back, sending his free arm up and wrapping it over the back of Omega's head and pulls him up against his back before dropping down and pulling Omega into a sudden ACE CRUSHER!!! The crowd pops huge as Omega's weakened neck is driven right down into Dar's shoulder, his face bouncing off the canvas. The force with which Dar pulled Omega down is enough for the Crimson Dragon to release his Hammerlock hold, Dar taking a moment to rub his shoulder before turning and hooking Omega's leg for the cover. "1...2...TH-" Omega weakly throws a shoulder up, the desire to keep his title enough to give him the willpower to break out of the pin. Dar seems to be getting frustrated at this point, angered that none of his best attempts have been enough to put Twist or Omega down. Letting out a sigh, Dar then moves to grab Omega by the head, lifting him up and pushing him back into the corner before hitting a quick chop followed by an elbow to the side of the head, then climbs up onto the middle ropes, lifting one hand up in the air before bringing it down in a series of punches right into Omega's head, the crowd counting out with them. At nine, Dar suddenly stops and grabs Omega around the head, pulling him into a Front Facelock before falling out of the corner and hitting a Faceplant DDT! Dar moves over to cover Omega, but the World Heavyweight Champion already has one leg on the ropes, the crowd booing as Dar narrows his eyes at Omega, seeming tempted to continue his attack, but backs off as Brian Blade reminds him to respect the rope break. Omega shifts over towards the ropes and uses them to pull himself up, running one hand over his face and seeming to be checking if he has a broken nose, but doesn't seem to find any serious injury, though it's obvious the move hurt him.
Dar seems annoyed at having to wait for Omega, finally becoming impatient and deciding to get Omega off of the ropes, running forward and hitting a hard forearm shot across Omega's face before pulling him off the ropes and whipping him across the ring, bouncing off the ropes near him and going for a Yakuza Kick as Omega comes back, but the Crimson Dragon ducks it, turning around just as Dar does, but Omega manages to get the drop on Dar, hitting a sudden Clothesline and taking Dar down to the mat. Dar quickly goes to stand back up, but Omega interrupts this as he lashes out with a kick to the gut as Dar gets up to one knee. Omega follows this up by moving quickly behind Dar and grabbing his head, digging his knee up into the back of Dar's neck before falling backwards and pulling Dar down with him, jamming his knee right up into Dar's neck, the crowd cringing at the painful looking maneuver. Dar cries out, rolling off of Omega's knee and clutching the back of his neck, pain shooting through his body. Omega doesn't let the X Factor get any rest, instead dropping down next to Dar and pulling him into a Crossface hold. Omega wrenches back on Dar's neck with the maneuver, elevating half of Dar's upper body off the mat, the X Factor cringing as his neck muscles are hyperextended in the submission. Finally, though, Dar manages to move one of his arms over to Omega's head, pushing his hand up into Omega's face and eventually pushing his fingers right into Omega's eyes, the Crimson Dragon crying out as he does so, attempting to keep the hold locked in, but the pain and fear of blindness makes the World Heavyweight Champion break the hold after a few more moments. Dar's neck is obviously screaming at him in pain right now, but he attempts to ignore the pain and prevent Omega from following up with another maneuver, pushing himself up off the mat and grabbing Omega around the waist suddenly as he stands up, lifting him up into the air and twisting around to slam Omega's back down into the mat with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Dar doesn't move off Omega afterwards, but whether it's from exhaustion or a pin attempt, the fans can't tell. Still, Brian Blade goes for the count. "1...2..." Omega kicks out weakly, pushing Dar off of him.
Dar rolls over onto his stomach, but Omega suddenly shifts over and grabs Dar's arm, twisting it up and leaning over to the side to lock in a Wakigatame Armbar! Dar cringes as his shoulder is wrenched up by the Man of 1000 Holds, Omega showing that that nickname is quite appropriate, pulling Dar's arm up and attempting to wrench it out of its socket. The crowd suddenly starts up a slow clap, the tempo getting faster, the fans trying to rile Dar up and give him the willpower needed to get out of this submission. Omega screams at the fans to shut up, but Dar is already starting to move up to all fours, though Omega shifts himself to keep some form of the Armbar held in. Finally, Dar gets up to his feet, Omega twisting Dar's arm around to keep the hold locked in, but finally breaks it by slamming his elbow right down into Dar's shoulder. Dar, in a sudden rush of adrenaline, completely ignores the strike, instead grabbing Omega around his waist from the side and flexing backwards to hit an absolutely devastating Side Suplex, spiking Omega's neck hard down into the mat and possibly re-arranging some of his vertebrae. The crowd immediately gets up on their feet and erupts into cheers, a few "HOLY SHIT!" chants heard throughout the arena due to the sick angle at which Omega's head hit the mat. Dar seems to have used his last bit of energy to hit that maneuver, however, his chest heaving as he lays on the mat, Omega lying on his stomach next to him, completely motionless. Slowly, Dar manages to roll onto his side and push Omega onto his back, falling over him and weakly draping an arm across his chest for the pin, Blade sliding in. "1...2...THR-NOO!" 2.99 COUNT! The crowd is completely unable to believe their eyes, but all can see Omega lift his shoulder up off the mat before letting his arm fall down weakly. Dar manages to reach down and hook Omega's leg this time, pulling Omega into a proper pin, Blade counting again. "1...2...THR-NO!" The crowd is shocked as Dar gets another 2.99 count, Omega this time having draped one hand over the ropes.
Dar lets go of Omega's leg, rolling away and letting his head fall down against the mat, his hopes completely deflating as he's unable to score a pin once again. The crowd looks about ready to kill Omega for breaking out of the pin, but Omega seems to be barely concious at this point, obviously having thrown his arm out towards the ropes on instinct. Finally, Dar starts to get back up to his feet, taking a glance outside the ring to check on Twist's condition. The White Phoenix seemed to have rested up a bit, and was currently sitting against the steel barrier, his arms draped across his abdomen, obviously still feeling the effects of the Vortex Buster and Spear earlier. Dar decides that Twist isn't a threat at the moment, turning his attention back to Omega, who is weakly starting to lift himself up via the ropes. The crowd seems to be getting excited at this point, knowing that, at this rate, if Dar hits one more high-impact move to Omega's neck, it's over. This time, however, Blade is more strict in enforcing the rules, keeping Dar from attacking Omega until he gets off the ropes. Dar doesn't seem very happy about this, obviously not wanting Omega to get any time to rest, but Blade asserts his authority as referee, and Dar reluctantly agrees, crossing his arms and waiting for Omega to get up, the X Factor rolling his shoulder a bit, trying to use his time to shake off the lingering pain from the submission holds on his arm. The fans don't seem very happy about the situation either, and Hell notices this. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, the first ever BTWF World Heavyweight Champion moves over to where Omega is pulling himself up against the ropes. Hell suddenly lashes out with a punch to Omega's lower back, not exactly hard enough to really hurt, but not exactly a playful hit either. Omega turns around suddenly and glares at Hell, the ring enforcer telling him to get off the ropes and get back into the match. Omega flips Hell off, but Hell responds by grabbing Omega's head, twisting him forward and pulling him down to choke him on the ropes, the crowd erupting into cheers at this.
However, Brian Blade catches sight of what Hell's doing, and quickly moves over, yelling at Hell to get away from Omega, Hell releasing the Crimson Dragon's head, the World Heavyweight Champ falling onto his back and coughing, clutching his neck. Blade begins to admonish Hell, finally turning to the side and calling over to one of the officials, who nods. A few moments later, the crowd boos as Jack Frost walks out onto the entrance ramp, heading down to the ring and standing by Hell. Blade calls out to Hell with a smirk, telling him that Frost is now taking up the place of "ring enforcer enforcer". Hell seems pissed at this, but decides not to argue with the president of the BTWF. However, Hell has managed to get Omega off the ropes, and Dar doesn't waste his chance, moving over and picking Omega up before whipping him across the ring and into the corner before dashing forward and hitting a hard Clothesline right into Omega's neck, slamming him back against the turnbuckles before turning and grabbing Omega by the back of the head, pulling him down to the mat in a Bulldog, the crowd popping as Dar does so. Dar looks like he wants to go for the cover, but remembers how Omega kicked out of the devastating Side Suplex earlier, and decides to get some more damage on the Crimson Dragon before going for another pin. Dar slowly picks Omega up, suddenly grabbing one of his arms and twisting it up around into a Hammerlock, then pulls Omega out towards the middle of the ring before he can get any rope breaks. The crowd immediatley gets up on their feet as Dar reaches forward and goes to lock in a Dragon Sleeper, knowing this was the set-up for the ARCHETYPE BREAK-NO!!! Omega manages to fling his arm back and hit Dar right in the face, the X Factor trying to ignore the move and get the Archetype Breaker locked in, but finally releases the Hammerlock after a few strikes. Omega quickly turns around and jumps up, the crowd booing as the Crimson Dragon hits a Kip-Up 'Rana, taking Dar down to the mat before falling over to the side and taking a few moments for himself to rest.
With both men still down the crowd begins another clap to get them back into the match, most of the crowd doing this for Darson only. Slowly both competitors pull themselves up off the ground at a pace that shows the strain their bodies have went through in this match. Omega manages to reach the soles of his wrestling boots first but Dar is up right after him. The few seconds difference is all it takes for Omega to get the advantage though as he kicks Darson in the gut and places him into a front facelock while hooking Dar's left arm. Before Omega is able to pull off a move from this position he is suddenly slammed in the back of the head with a Roaring Elbow from Steve! While both men were getting back to their feet Twist had made his way back into the ring and seems to have gained back some energy after being pretty much a mess before. After Omega is hit by Steve he releases the hold he has on Dar and falls down to his knees while Darson stumbles backwards into the ropes. Twist speedily grabs Omega by the head and brings him back up off the ground before grabbing Omega's wrist and whipping him across the ring. The 'Crimson Dragon' hits the ropes he is whipped at and comes right back at Steve but is knocked off his feet by a nasty Lariat from Steve. The champion falls to the mat in a heap and Twist is quick to capitalize and covers him 1...2...Dar goes to break the pin up by stomping Steve but the Savior is too quick and moves so Darson hits Omega instead. As the battered and bruised champion rolls away from Twist and Dar Steve stands back up and delivers a well placed kick to the left arm of Darson and then another to the midsection of The X Factor. Now that Steve has Darson bent down and hurt he places the bigger man in a front facelock before placing his left arm in a Hammerlock and driving Darson's head into the mat with a Hammerlock DDT! Quickly after Steve rolls him over for the cover as the crowd counts along, 1...2...2.8 count! Darson somehow kicks out even though the move was perfect in what areas it targeted. Not even pausing to take a breath though Steve stands back up to his feet and grabs Dar by the arms before dragging him to the near corner. Steve quickly climbs the ropes and hits Darson with a spectacular Diving Moonsault! 1...2...2.9 count as Dar once again kicks out!
'The White Phoenix' can't seem to believe it and tells Blade that must have been a three while holding his right leg and sitting up on the ground. The Sayvior tells Steve that it was only a two count and Twist is annoyed by the fact he couldn't put away Dar with those last two moves. With his leg now bothering him a bit more from using an aerial maneuver like the Moonsault Steve begins to get to his feet and looks like he will pick Darson up shortly after but Twist is suddenly put into an Inside Cradle by Omega, 1...2...2.9 count! Steve just barely kicks out as he didn't know what was going on but upon hearing Blade say 'two' he lets out a sigh of relief before getting back up off the ground to face his rival who is already up waiting for him. One more time the 'Crimson Dragon' and 'The White Phoenix' are standing face to face in the middle of a wrestling ring as Darson rolls to the outside still stunned from the high impact combo Steve hit him with. The crowd grows surprisingly silent as the two men stare at each other, the hate building up inside once more although most of it has been controlled up until this point in the match. Now though neither man is going to hold back and they begin to back away from each other before circling around the ring at a slow, calculating pace. The fans aren't surprised by this action as even though the men don't like each other their biggest goal is to inflict some psychological damage to each other and then physically destroy each other. It is a mind game so simple yet taken to such extremes by these two competitors like seen in their previous matches. After a full circle around the ring both men come to the center and both pretend to be going for a lock up before quickly pulling back. At first both Twist and Omega are surprised at having pulled out the same trick as their opponent but don't worry much about it as they begin to circle the ring again. Both have a noticeable limp going on but Omega seems to be worse off and the 'Crimson Dragon' keeps an eye placed on Twist every second knowing that Steve won't hesitate to use that weakness in Omega to his advantage. After another full circle around the ring the two men come together once more and this time Twist lunges at the right leg of Omega.
Before Omega can see Steve stop himself though the 'Crimson Dragon' jumps backwards. The loss in balance from doing this and landing on his right leg is then quickly capitalized on by Steve who charges at him looking to hit Omega with another Lariat. Omega is barely able to duck this move but does somehow and leaves Steve running into a corner which Omega had his back to. Twist doesn't allow this to stop him though and he jumps up onto the second set of ropes in the corner. Upon ducking the Lariat from Steve Omega whirls around only to be slammed in the head with a kick from Steve as he jumps around into almost a crossbody position out of the corner and catches Omega in the head with his boot. The champion falls down to the mat and so does the challenger but it seems that Steve might have the match won after that. Unfortunately though Steve is unable to go for the cover as he lies on the ground clutching at his right leg which was the same leg he hit Omega with. Even though the injury he has suffered before was fully healed the work that was done on it tonight now proves to be a possible determining factor in this match as 'The White Phoenix' may be unable to further rely on his aerial offense. After about a minute of resting on the ground Steve knows that pinning Omega at this point wouldn't be worth it and begins to pull himself back up onto his feet using the ropes. As Twist is doing this Omega tries to get up as well although ends up on his knees holding his head with Steve fully up on his feet. Not wanting to waste anymore time Steve goes over to where Omega is still trying to get up and grabs him by the head to pick him up. Before pulling him up though Steve notices Omega preparing his right arm to strike Twist and quickly puts a stop to a possible low blow by slamming Omega in the head with his left knee. The champion almost collapses back to the mat after this because of the hard blows he has taken to his head already but Steve doesn't let him and instead pulls him up to his feet. The Savior then places Omega in position for an Ace Crusher but turns towards the ropes and jumps up onto them, only using his left leg going for a one legged TWISTER! NO! The life is drained out of the hot Barton crowd as Steve tries the Twister and it is countered into a Back Drop Driver by Omega! Slowly the 'Crimson Dragon' crawls over to where Twist landed after bouncing off his head and rolls him over for a cover, 1...2...2.9 count! Steve refuses to lose and kicks out convincingly to show he still has what it takes to win in him.
Now both men are worn down and having a hard time moving around the ring. Struggling back up to their feet to finish this Twist and Omega get to the set of ropes they are near and begin to pull themselves up. Still nothing is heard from Dar who is on the outside resting because of how long this match has gone on and the punishment he has sustained. Although the crowd continues to clap to get Steve back to his feet Omega seems to have the upper hand and makes it up first before walking over to where Twist stands holding himself up on the ropes. Instead of attacking Steve Omega decides on a better plan and pushes Steve into the ropes before putting him into a Reverse Roll Up, 1...2...Steve pushes Omega off of him and makes the 'Crimson Dragon' hit the ropes. The surprised Omega staggers back from the ropes and then is put into an Inside Cradle by Steve, 1...2...Omega throws his shoulder up but Steve stands up to his feet with Omega's legs held before putting Omega into his own hold, the OMEGA PRISON! The Barton Arena overflows with the noise of fans cheering and yelling at Omega to tap out. The BTWF Champion won't lose the belt he fought so hard for this easily though and begins to struggle towards the ropes although it is clear Steve has the Prison synched in well. As the moments pass it seems that Omega could tap out because of the pain already inflicted in his leg by Steve but the champion continues to fight to the ropes with Twist trying his hardest to keep the hold locked in. Where Steve's downfall in having the Prison locked in comes though is in the fact he cannot keep it applied well without the full use of his right leg. Omega senses and knows this fact and continues to suffer through the hold until Twist cannot take the bracing involved in keeping Omega in one spot anymore, allowing the champion to make it to the ropes. The crowd jeers loudly as Omega grabs onto the bottom rope and holds it for dear life but Steve doesn't reward them with keeping the hold in any longer. Instead he lets the hold go quickly after Omega makes it to the ropes and shakes his leg out some before turning around and picking Omega up off the ground away from the ropes. Blade thinks about stepping in because Omega was on the ropes but stops knowing the history between these two, instead opting to watch as Steve puts Omega into a front facelock and hooks Omega's arms. The fans watch in anticipation as the title reign of Omega might be ended by Steve lifting him into the air and dropping him down onto his left knee with a Double Underhook Backbreaker! The pain in Twist's left knee pales in comparison to his right allowing him to make the cover more easily, 1...2...2.999 count! Darson is back in the ring and kicks Steve in the back of the head to break up the possible three count.
Many of the fans in the Barton Arena jeer Dar for this, not because they don't like him, but because they wanted to see an end to Omega's reign as BTWF Champion right there. The chances of it not ending are now increased as Dar picks Twist up off of Omega who rolls over to the edge of the ring under the ropes to rest while the two challengers go to do battle again. Once Darson has Steve up he grabs him by the wrist and whips him into the near corner so Steve slams into the top turnbuckle sternum first before slumping down with his face in the corner, only being held up by his arms which are placed across the top rope. Seeing that Steve is pretty much out of it Dar decides not to rush in or do anything stupid. He instead takes his time walking over to the corner and grabs Twist by the shoulders before picking him up and turning him around so he is facing away from the corner although still slumped down in it some. The larger man then measures Twist up before slapping him across the chest with an open hand chop that can be heard throughout the Barton Arena. Still showing he is in no rush Dar shakes his left arm out a little bit before readying his right arm for another strike to Steve which is another open hand chop right across the already reddening chest of Twist. The former BTWF Champion has a look of pain etched across his face in the corner but suddenly stands up on his feet instead of holding himself up on the ropes. He tells Darson to hit him with another chop which Dar quickly goes to do but Steve ducks under it before slapping Darson in the left arm that has been hurting him. Dar cringes in pain and quickly goes to grab the arm but as he does this Steve lays into him with a right forearm to the side of the head, a kick from his left leg to the side of Dar, and finally a fist to the gut of Darson that makes the big man bend down. Quickly Steve places Darson into a front facelock before throwing the right arm of Darson over his head and trying to lift the big man. Steve begins to do this but is unable to as Dar lowers his base and makes it impossible for someone of Steve's size to lift him. Twist won't give up though and lets go of the front facelock before hitting Darson with a Roaring Elbow to the face, then a head butt to the left arm, and finally Steve grabs Dar around the neck with his left arm and starts slamming Dar's left arm with punches. The big man can feel the sudden rush of pain from this and pushes Steve off into the ropes but the Savior comes right back with another Roaring Elbow to Dar before placing him into a front facelock once again. The Barton fans stand to their feet as Steve somehow LIFTS DARSON UP FOR A BRAINBUSTER!! The crowd ERUPTS in cheers and "Holy Shit" chants as Steve rolls over to place on arm over Darson, 1...2...3NOOOOOO! 2.99999 count as Omega comes in just in time to break the pin.
The crowd jeers and boos heavily, once again not because they wanted to see Dar get beat, but because they simply NEED to see the World Heavyweight Title change hands tonight to go home happy. Omega seemed a bit reluctantly to get back in the ring so quickly, but after seeing Twist hit the Brainbuster to Dar, he knew his title was in jeopardy. Omega seems to debate for a moment as to which wrestler to attack. While Dar is injured from the Brainbuster, Twist isn't much better off, and the Crimson Dragon's hatred for Steve eventually gets the better of him as he lifts Twist up, only to drop him down into a DDT. Twist cringes and clutches his head as Omega rolls over for the cover. "1...2...TH-" Twist gets a shoulder up! The crowd cheers and sighs with relief as Dar rolls out under the bottom rope to take some time to recover. Omega glares down at Twist as he stands up, reaching down to rub his knee, the Omega's Prison put on it earlier still effecting him. The World Heavyweight Champ reaches down and picks Twist up again, this time whipping him across the ring and catching Twist as he comes back with a Kitchen Sink, Twist's gut slamming right into Omega's knee, the White Phoenix flipping up over the outstretched limb to land on his back, closing his eyes and clutching his stomach as he rolls over onto his side. Omega doesn't bother going for any technical maneuvers, instead just beginning to lay on Twist with hard stomps to his ribs and back, Twist not able to cover up at all from the harsh strikes. Eventually, Blade gets Omega away from Twist, the Crimson Dragon looking about ready to push Blade off and continue the assault, then remembers who the referee of this match is and calms himself down. Twist rolls over to the ropes and begins to use them to get himself up, Blade forcing Omega to stay back and preventing a premature attack. The crowd begins to clap slowly for Steve as he starts to pull himself up to his feet, looking over at Omega with a menacing stare, though made slightly less malicious due to the heavy breathing Twist is exerting, his mid-section obviously hurting him pretty badly at this point, his knee not doing any better. Omega just grins, the World Heavyweight Champ not doing much better, favoring one knee and seeming to be letting his head hang a bit, occasionally shifting it to the side, showing tha this neck is bothering him at this point. The crowd knows this match can't go on much longer, not with the damage all three men have taken, sensing that the end is near, figuring it'll come down to these two men, seeing as Dar is still on the outside clutching his head and laying at the foot of the steel barrier, seeming to not even be paying attention to what's happening in the match.
Twist steps off the ropes, but Omega doesn't rush forward, instead beginning to slowly circle, the two men going into their usual routine, not ones to simply flail at each other, more intent on playing mindgames and making their opponent lose as well as hurting his pride and messing with his emotions. Omega speaks as the two make their way halfway around the ring, a smirk on his face. "Just think, Steve...One Omega's Prison. One Crimson Skies. And it'll all be over." Twist just grins, taking a few deep breaths before responding. "You're not exactly doing much better, Omega...I think a Burning Hammer would pretty much end this match. And probably require that you be taken out of here with a neck brace." Omega doesn't seem to be phazed at all, the two men continuing to circle for a few more moments before stepping forward, seeming about ready to go into a grapple, but Omega backs off suddenly, apparently having become unconfident in the strategy he was going to use. Twist raises an eyebrow, backing up as well. "Running out of ideas? You could always just lay down and let me pin you now...I can't guarantee that would be the end of it, though. One of us isn't going to walk out of this ring." Omega rolls his neck before responding. "That I have to agree with. It's going to take quite a few people to drag your body out of here." The crowd seems a bit put off at the lack of action, but know that Omega and Twist are intent on playing their mindgames, and decide to just wait, wondering how this will play out. Finally, after two full circles around the ring, Omega and Twist suddenly dart forward and lock up into a grapple, the two men fighting hard for control. They seem to be evenly matched at the moment, neither man able to take control of the fighting at the moment, but Omega's slight technical advantage on Twist allows him to shift his arms down a bit and slide behind the White Phoenix, wrapping his arms around his waist and going to lift Twist back for a German Suplex. Omega manages to lift Twist off the mat, but Twist kicks his legs and uses his momentum to go back down to the mat, reaching down and trying to pry Omega's hands from around his waist. Omega attempts to keep his hands locked, trying to lift Twist back up again, but Steve forces himself back down to the mat, finally tearing one of Omega's hands off from around his waist and twisting out of Omega's grip, pulling the arm he has a hold on up into a Half Nelson, then quickly reaches forward and pulls Omega's other arm back into a Chickenwing position before flexing backwards and hitting the ZODIAC SUPLEX!!! Twist attempts to force himself up into a bridge, but his knee fails him, and he falls to the mat, releasing the hold on Omega and moving off to the side.
The crowd is beginning to see how bad the injuries on these men have become, Twist's knee too hurt to allow him to bridge the Zodiac Suplex, and a slight twitch is seen at the muscles around Twist's eyes each time he takes a breath, indicating that it hurts him to inhale, suggesting possibly bruised, cracked, or even broken ribs. Omega is currently lying on his back on the mat, clutching the back of his neck and cringing, his teeth bared in agony, the Zodiac Suplex from Twist and the Side Suplex from Dar earlier having taken their toll. As Twist rests on all fours, the crowd gets up to their feet, once again beginning a slow clap that increases in tempo gradually, showing their appreciation for Twist and willing him to get back up to his feet. Twist slowly looks up at the fans, sweeping his eyes out over the stands and beginning to push himself up with his feet, seeming to be drawing energy from the crowd themselves. Finally, Twist reaches a vertical base, slowly taking another look out over the crowd before throwing his arms out to his side, the crowd erupting into cheers at seeing Twist take the time to taunt. The White Phoenix then moves over to Omega, grabbing him by the head and lifting him up from behind and tucking his head up under Omega's arm, the Crimson Dragon still too stuned from the Zodiac Suplex to respond, Twist hooking his leg and spinning him out to hit the BLUE THUNDER DRIVER!!! The crowd pops huge as Twist slams Omega down into the mat, the World Heavyweight Champ lying motionless. Twist looks like he's tempted to go for the pin, but after all the near falls in this match, he decides to make sure that Omega won't get up. Twist makes it back up to a vertical base once more, reaching down to pick Omega up one more time, and pulls him into a Standing Head Scissors. Twist then hooks both of Omega's arms, throwing his head back and calling out two words that the crowd immediately follows with a humongous pop. "ABSOLUTE ATONEMENT!!!" Twist lifts Omega up, backing up a little ways from the rope, then drops down, driving Omega's head down HARD into the mat with the absolutely vicious Spike Tigerbomb. Twist takes a deep breath after hitting the move, then pushes Omega forward until he's laying on his back on the mat, Twist holding on his legs for the pin, Blade sliding in. "1...2...THR-" DAR PULLS OMEGA TO THE OUTSIDE!!! The crowd is shocked at the pin suddenly being broken by Dar, who pulls Omega out through the bottom rope and out of Twist's grasp, grabbing the arm of the Crimson Dragon and just tossing him right into the steel barrier. Omega crumples to the ground, motionless, probably out for the rest of the match.
Dar and Twist watch each other, staring each other down, Twist glaring at Dar with astonishment and anger, knowing he would've had Omega pinned there. Dar slides into the ring, then stands up, now only a foot or so away from Twist, the two men staring each other down, Dar's height advantage not seeming as prominent due to the fatigue both men are showing. Finally, Dar rolls his neck, then speaks in a low tone. "If you're going to beat someone for the title tonight...You're going to have to beat me." Twist runs a hand back through his hair, getting some of the sweat out of it and keeping any of it from falling into his eyes, then nods. The crowd, while mildly disappointed that the title change didn't come there, are still excited at the fact that the match will probably end between these two men. Dar walks forward and goes to lock up in a grapple with Twist, but Steve backs off, seeming reluctant to get into a grapple with Dar, who has had time to rest up and also has a strength advantage. Dar seems a bit annoyed at Twist moving away, but doesn't rush into anything, instead beginning to circle the White Phoenix. Twist follows Dar, slowly turning on his heel as he watches the X Factor move around him. Finally, Dar darts in and goes for a forearm strike to the side of Twist's head, but Steve ducks it and hits a knee into Dar's gut before twisting his arm around to go for an Armwrench Takedown, but Dar grabs Twist from behind in a single-arm crossface, Twist moving to the side and pulling himself behind Dar's back and grabbing his other arm to go for a Backslide Pin, but Dar instead bends forward and pulls Twist up onto his back, starting to stretch his arms out for a Back-to-Back Crucifix Backbreaker Rack, but Twist plants his feet against Dar's lower back and kicks off, making Dar bend forward with Twist landing in front of him, the White Phoenix untangling his arms from Dar's before pulling him into a Front Facelock and attempting to drop back into a DDT, but Dar grabs the nearby ropes and uses them to prevent his fall, then wraps his arms around Twist's waist before flexing back into a Northern Lights Suplex! The crowd erupts into cheers for that chain of reversals, Dar shifting his legs up to lock in a bridge as Blade slides over for the pin. "1...2..." Twist kicks out, though weakly, showing that a simple suplex was not going to be close to be enough to take him down. Dar moves out of the bridge, suddenly moving to the side and grabbing both of Twist's legs, crossing them and twisting to the side, the crowd getting up onto their feet as Dar tucks both of Twist's legs in under his arm and reaches back with his free hand to wrench up on Twist's neck, locking in the SPLIT DIVISION!!!
Twist cries out as his back and neck are wrenched up by the maneuver, as well as his knee getting hyperextended by Dar's other hand. Dar slowly shifts away from the ropes to keep Twist from getting to them, determined to get Twist to tap. The White Phoenix absolutely refuses to give up at this point, crying out "NO!" every time Blade asks him if he wants to tap out. Finally, though, the pain seems to be getting to Twist, his declines of wanting to tap out getting weaker and weaker each time. Finally, Twist stops moving, his eyes closing as his body goes limp. Blade picks up Twist's hand, lifting it up into the air and watching as it falls to the mat. Blade lifts Twist's arm up, once again watching as it falls to the mat. The crowd is charged with excitement, watching intently as Blade lifts Twist's arm up one final time...BUT OMEGA PULLS DAR INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Omega had slipped into the ring without anyone noticing, and had managed to move up behind Dar and grab him around the waist, pulling him into the German Suplex and forcing Dar to release the maneuver on Twist, Blade cancelling the KO check due to this. Omega, like Twist, is having trouble with his leg, however, and doesn't manage to get Dar into a bridge. The damage is done, however, and Omega did manage to spike Dar's neck into the mat rather well with the move. Omega rubs his neck as he stands up, having had to come in before he was fully rested to break up that submission, taking a glance over at Twist, seeing the White Phoenix is still out from the hold Dar put him in, though is starting to show signs of life. Omega decides to end this quickly, moving over to Dar and picking him up by the head, hitting a quick European Uppercut to stun him before dragging him over to the corner. The crowd seems to be a little nervous at this point, knowing that after all these guys have been through throughout the match, if Omega hits one more big move on Dar, it might be the end, especially seeing as it doesn't look like Twist could get up in time to stop the maneuver.
Omega slams Dar up into the corner, beginning to use his last reserves of strength to hit a series of devastating chops to Dar's chest, the cracking sound heard throughout the arena. After five or so, Omega finally stomps, Dar slumping down into the corner, his arms draped over the top rope being the only things keeping him up. Omega reaches down and grabs Dar's legs, slowly forcing him up and finally managing to sit him on the top turnbuckle, but faces him out towards the crowd. The fans aren't sure what Omega's setting Dar up for, but know it can't be good for the X Factor. Omega climbs out through the ropes and onto the apron, climbing up onto the middle turnbuckle and hooking Dar up for a Fireman's Carry, the crowd gasping with horror, knowing that this was the set up to the Crimson Sk-NO! Dar suddenly hits a series of quick, hard punches right into Omega's stomach and ribs, the Crimson Dragon's hold releasing. Dar grabs Omega's head and slams his forward in a devastating Headbutt, the crowd erupting into cheers as Dar stands up slowly, pulling Omega forward and throwing his arm behind Dar's neck. Dar throws one arm up to the crowd, then suddenly pulls Omega off the corner, jumping off and hitting a SUDDEN STOP ALL THE WAY OUT THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! The crowd immediately is up on their feet, staring in awe as Dar and Omega crash through the table, Uno and Dos quickly standing up and moving back in time, a "HOLY SHIT!" chant starting up almost immediately. Finally, Dar starts to pick himself up after about thirty seconds, rubbing his head and slowly turning to face the ring...ONLY TO BE HIT BY A TORNADO PLANCHA FROM TWIST!!! Twist crashes into Dar with the suicide maneuver and takes him down into the mat, landing on Omega as well, the crowd's cheers only getting louder as this happens, all three men now lying in a heap in the ruins of the table.
The seconds continue to tick by after the Tornado Plancha from Twist connected with Darson and still no one seems to be moving around at all. The noise from the Barton fans doesn't die down at all and increases even as Steve begins to move. The Savior doesn't move very quick or even at a normal pace while getting to his feet as the exhaustion, aches, and pains from this match have all set in. With all these factors in mind Steve still manages to get up to his feet and receives a loud pop from the crowd when he does not only because they want to see this match end with either him or Dar winning, but also for what he and the other two men in this match have put themselves through to win the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship. Upon making it to his feet Steve looks down at both Darson and Omega but it doesn't take more than a second for him to choose who he wants to beat. He goes over to Omega and slowly pulls him up to his feet. Once Steve has the 'Crimson Dragon' on the soles of his wrestling boots he grabs him by the head and brings him over to the ring before rolling him in. Twist rolls in right after him and makes a quick cover on Omega, 1...2...Omega throws a shoulder up to break the count but still seems really worn down. Steve makes sure to hook the leg of Omega this time as he tries one more cover, 1...2...once again Omega just throws a shoulder up and the fans in the Barton Arena seem amazed Omega still had it in him to do that. Now 'The White Phoenix' can tell that Omega still needs to be hit with that one last big move before he will go down and as Steve stands up he looks around to see what move that could end up being. Nothing seems to really be a good idea though thanks to the leg injury and midsection injury. This thinking gives Twist an idea and he grabs Omega by the injured right leg before pulling him into the center of the ring and shouting "WHOOOO" before trying to lock Omega in a Figure Four Leg Lock! The crowd begins to rise to their feet but as Steve turns to lock the right leg of Omega in the hold Omega uses his left leg to push Steve off and sends him into the corner. Steve doesn't hit the corner hard but it still shows that Omega has learned what the expect from Steve enough to counter a move like that. Omega begins to get back up after Steve is shoved into the corner and as Twist turns around he sees this. Instead of going right at Omega Steve decides to let him get to his feet so the two can finally settle their score.
Omega doesn't have the same thoughts on the matter though and as soon as he is up he charges at Steve the best he can although limping pretty badly. This delay in the usual quickness of Omega allows Steve to move out of the way making Omega hit the corner. Using his left leg to pivot on Steve then turns back into the corner and slams Omega in the back of the head and neck with a forearm shot and another so as to keep Omega hurt for the move Steve is about to set up next. After the shots to Omega Steve grabs him in a Back Suplex position before setting him up onto the top turnbuckle in the corner. Leaving him there Steve then goes out onto the ring apron before climbing up the corner from the outside. Once he has made it up to the top of the corner Steve lifts Omega up, so both are standing on the top ropes in the corner, and then places him Omega into a reverse standing head scissors. Almost everyone in the Barton Arena rises to their feet having heard of this move and people get their cameras ready, some flashbulbs going off already, as Steve turns around to face the ring and lifts Omega into position for THE UNJUST SANCTITY!!! NOOO! Omega reverses out of it by pushing himself away from Steve and down so he lands on the top ropes that meet at the top turnbuckle so he is behind Steve. The 'Crimson Dragon' then pulls his arms away from Steve as the Savior turns around somewhat clumsily for his own safety due to where the two are fighting. Twist manages to turn right into a quick kick to the gut from Omega and the 'Crimson Dragon' then sets Steve up onto his shoulders in a DVD position. The crowd in the Barton Arena begins to jeer knowing that Omega is setting up for and is about to hit the CRIMSON SKIES!! NOOO! Steve catches Omega in the back of the neck with an elbow and makes the champion set him back down on the top rope. Both men continue their struggle and the fans in the arena can feel a title change in the making now. With his feet placed back down on the top ropes in the corner Steve takes Omega and turns him slightly so his back is facing Steve before Steve bends down and hooks Omega's leg as well as his head and neck with his opposite hand and sets Omega up into a Torture Rack position. Pure noise consisting mostly of cheers for Steve overflows in the Barton Arena as Steve turns his body to hit Omega with a TOP ROPE BURNING HAMMER!!!! NOOOOO!! Darson is back in the ring and hits Steve in the right leg making Steve set Omega back down on the top rope before going to grab his leg. Dar isn't done with Steve though and pushes him off the top to the OUTSIDE WHERE STEVE LANDS RIGHT ON HIS HEAD!
The crowd gasps in horror as Twist hits the ground outside the ring, his entire body weight compacting right down on his neck, body crumpling up into a ball before slumping down onto his stomach, lying motionless on the mats outside. The crowd cringes as they watch Twist for any signs of life, seeming a bit relieved once they notice that his chest is still moving, but otherwise there are no other motions coming from the White Phoenix, indicating the fall knocked him out completely. Dar doesn?t pay attention to this, however, knowing that his chance is here, turning Omega around to face the ring and hitting a series of hard forearm shots to the side of the Crimson Dragon?s head, Omega barely able to put up any resistance at this point, the fatigue of this match having got to the World Heavyweight Champ. Dar tucks Omega?s head down and pushes the back of his neck against his shoulder before hooking both of Omega?s legs, the crowd erupting into cheers as Dar lifts Omega upside down and falls backwards out of the corner in an AVALANCHE MUSCLE BUSTER!!! Omega?s head and neck are impacted right down into the mat, a visible shockwave moving throughout Omega?s body as the move connects. Dar releases Omega?s legs, the limbs slumping forward as Omega lays on his back, staring blankly up at the ceiling, his eyes glazed over. Dar breathes heavily for a few moments, then slowly rolls over to drape an arm across Omega?s chest, Blade sliding in for the count, the crowd on their feet, watching in rapt attention. ?1?2?THR-NOOOOOOO!? 2.999999 COUNT!!! OMEGA GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!!! The crowd doesn?t even make a sound, just stares blankly at Omega?s foot set on the bottom rope. Dar closes his eyes and lays his head down against the mat, seeming about ready to cry at this point, the title ripped from his fingers at the last second due to him not hooking Omega?s leg. The crowd snaps out of their reverie quickly enough, beginning a slow clap once more, willing Dar to get up and finish this match, wanting to finally see an end they can be happy with. Dar slowly forces himself up from the mat, willing away the sorrow and disappointment, the crowd erupting into cheers as he makes it to his feet. The X Factor looks out over the crowd, finally throwing his arms up into an X, a taunt which the crowd responds to with a massive cheer. Dar reaches down and lifts Omega up, pulling him away from the ropes, but the Crimson Dragon suddenly knocks Dar?s arms away, raking his eyes before hitting a quick Toekick and pulling Dar down into a Standing Head Scissors. Omega slams his forearm down into Dar?s back repeatedly in an attempt to stun him, then looks out over the crowd and makes a cutting motion with the side of his hand across his throat before screaming out "THIS ENDS NOW!" Omega reaches down to lift Dar up, but in a sudden burst of adrenaline, Dar throws his head up and grabs Omega?s legs, lifting the Crimson Dragon up and draping the champ across his back upside down before jumping up in the air and falling down to hit the RUINATION!!!
The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Omega?s head is jammed down into the mat with the Inverted Electric Chair Driver, Dar weakly pushing Omega?s legs off his shoulders, the Crimson Dragon falling to the mat on his back, lying motionless, his eyes closed. Dar suddenly seems to lose all energy, weakly falling backwards, his body lying over Omega?s. Blade sees this as a pin, however, and moves in for the count. "ONE...TWO...THREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A cheer literally vibrates the walls of the arena as ?Revolution Man? starts up, though no one can hear it at all, the cheers and shouts of pure happiness flowing throughout the stadium and preventing anyone from being heard, including Victor Cross, who decides to wait before giving the announcement. Blade pushes Dar off Omega, then begins to check on Dar, making sure the X Factor isn?t unconscious. After a few moments, Dar begins to show signs of life, slowly starting to sit up and rub his head, looking out over the crowd, his eyes going wide as he suddenly realizes what's happening. The cheers have started to die down just slightly, enough for Dar?s entrance theme to be heard, and Victor Cross quickly takes this chance. "HERE IS YOUR WINNER, AND NEEEEEWWWWW BTWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION 'THE X FACTOR' DARSON GRAYS!!!"
Dar just stares out at the crowd in awe, not quite able to believe what's happening at the moment. Blade lightly hits him across the back of the head, raising an eyebrow. "C'mon, Dar...I can't have my new world champion sitting here like a mute after he wins the title." Dar slowly lets out an exhale before a wide smile comes over his face, and Blade reaches down to help him up, waiting until Dar is up to a vertical base before lifting his arm up in the air, the crowd cheering even louder. Blade releases Dar's hand after a few moments, giving him a nod before stepping off to the side, the crowd watching as Hell moves into the ring, the World Heavyweight Title slung over his shoulder. Hell walks over to face Dar, looking up at him for a few moments before removing the belt off his shoulder and thrusting it into Dar's chest, Dar reaching up to take the title in his own hands. The crowd recognizes this ceremonial moment of the first ever BTWF World Heavyweight Champ passing off the belt to the newest one, Hell staring Dar down for a few moments, then looks down at the belt before looking up to Dar and grinning. "Hold onto that while you can. I'll be wearing it soon enough." Dar just smirks back, slinging the belt over his shoulder. "We shall see. We shall see." Hell moves off to the side as Dar pulls the belt off his shoulder, looking down at the title for a few long moments before moving over to the nearest corner and pulling himself up onto the middle ropes and grabbing each side of the title, lifting his arms up into an X while still holding the belt, the crowd erupting into cheers once more. Dar makes his way around the ring, showing off his newly-won title at each corner, finally stopping once he does the fourth one and looking out at the entrance ramp, where Heat, Ravena and H.A.L.O. are standing, watching Dar with large smiles on their faces.
Dar looks over at Omega, who is starting to roll over onto his side, then glances over at Twist, who the officials are currently checking on. The new World Heavyweight Champ lets out a sigh of relief and satisfaction, then slips out of the ring, walking up the entrance ramp and joining his faction members as they move up the ramp, Dar stopping often to high five a fan or let them touch the title, grinning a bit, seeming a bit overwhelmed with this entire situation. Finally, as Dar reaches the top of the ramp, he stops and turns to face the crowd, wrapping the belt around his waist and buckling it, the crowd cheering as he does so. Dar takes one last look out at the arena, then throws his arms up into an X, almost every single fan responding in kind before he slips through the curtains and BTWF Legacy of Supremacy fades...to...black.
