Darson Grays
Real Name: Kale Keuakepo (pronounced "Kah-lay Kee-oo-uh-kee-poh")
Nickname: The X Factor
Height: 6'7"
Weight: 275 lbs.
Hometown: Honolulu, Hawaii
Entrance Theme: "Another Body Murdered" by Faith No More and Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E.
Entrance*: The lights in the arena flash to a silver glow as the guitar opening of "Another Body Murdered" by Faith No More and Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. hits, the crowd immediately getting up on their feet and chanting "DAR! DAR! DAR! DAR!" with the beat of the music. After a few moments, a voice calls out through the speakers, making the tension rise.
TURN ME UP!
A few seconds later, the first verse of the song blasts through the speakers and Dar throws open the curtains, walking out onto the entrance ramp and looking out over the crowd, a smirk on his face as he's met with a huge cheer. After a few moments, Dar throws his arms up into an X, two silver fireworks shooting off from either side of the entrance ramp to cross each other and form an X shape. Dar then lowers his arms, making his way down the ramp and high fiving whichever fans stick their hands out.
Now I gotta murder the murder to get away
The eyes gotta peer now the fool's gotta pay
And if they pay, then they payin' with they life
So watch another man try to hold onto his life
'Cause I keep lookin' and huntin' just like a lion
Let these suckas know that it's them that be dyin'
I show no remorse to the source of the tales
And if they tell, then the hungry better battle
Once at the bottom of the ramp, Dar walks forward and pulls himself up onto the apron by grabbing the top rope, turning once he does so and wrapping both arms around it, bouncing his back against it a few times as he looks back out over the crowd.
I keep it comin' and comin' across the table
And if I miss, I never miss because I'm able
I'm lookin' forward and I'm lookin' over my shoulder
But I'll make a simple sin to make the bonus
Dar unwraps his arms off the top rope and steps through them, removing the belt from around his waist and holding it high up in the air with one arm as he turns to face each side of the ring. Once he does, Dar then runs across the ring and pulls himself up on the middle ropes at the far side of the ring, holding the belt high up in the air as the song finishes its first verse.
But I'll never bless the rest, so never cease
I'll do a motherfucker with this restin' piece
And what they saw, they never seen or even heard of
And if they live, it's just another body murdered
ANOTHER BODY MURDERED!
Dar hops down from the ropes and hands off his belt and shirt to an official before leaning back against the corner and waiting for his opponent.
Bio: Dar was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 3rd, 1978. Dar was a happy child, always smiling, and participated in many sports during his childhood, mostly due to his size. Sports like football were his favorites. However, one day when Dar was about ten years old, while flipping through the channels at home, he came upon a broadcast of an old wrestling company by the name of Grand Tournament Wrestling. Dar was captivated by the wrestlers, amazed at their ability to slam each other into the ground, then get right back up and continue fighting. It soon became a staple of Dar's Wedensday nights, and Dar only missed two or three shows in the six years that he watched GTW. After a few years of this, Dar realized there were other wrestling companies, and began to watch other shows, soon becoming an overall wrestling enthusiast. When Dar graduated from highschool in 1996, he decided that he'd like to actively pursue wrestling, and become a wrestler himself.
Dar enrolled in a wrestling school on the nearby island of Mauii, run by a local indy legend, "Island Thunder" James Vaan. Dar found being a wrestler was more difficult than he had expected, but he kept at it, and soon learned how to develop his strength into a wrestling style. Dar soon began to compete in the Indy leagues, but quickly found out that his strength was simply not enought to win matches. After taking a hiatus from wrestling and going to college for two years, getting his Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Dar then moved to California, and enrolled in another wrestling school there, one of the most popular in the country. There, Dar learned how to add technical skills to his wrestling, and soon began competing in the Indy leagues again. Dar found himself winning matches much more often this time, and even began to get a reputation for his mix of power moves and uncommon submissions. Eventually, Dar caught the eye of a BTWF talent scout, and was recruited into the federation in late April.
Dar made his prescence known early by picking a fight with a then-current fan favorite of the BTWF, Shadow Starr. Their feud carried on for a few weeks, but soon fizzled out as Dar moved on to bigger things at the 2004 June Pay-Per-View, Tournament of Gods, where Dar beat Pohatu, Fox, and Jack Frost all in one night to earn a shot at the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship two weeks later on the first Madness: Night Of Champions. Though Dar lost, he didn't give up, and soon won a small tournament involving Omega, Twilight Tokyo Rose and Victor "The King" Bidwell to earn a shot for the BTWF Title once again at the 2004 July Pay-Per-View, fadetoblack. This time, Dar fought Big Daddy, then the champion, in a well-remembered 60-Minute Ironman match, which came down to the very last seconds. Though Dar lost again, he didn't give up. Two weeks later, he fought Bryan Kutterman in a qualifying match to determine the six competitors that would compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at the August 2004 Pay-Per-View, Ragnarok, in a brutal Garden of Evil match. Dar lost once again, and this time took a month off to train and get some things off his mind. One month later at MaXimum Carnage, BTWF's November Pay-Per-View, Darson Grays was severely injured in a No Disqualification match against The Demon. Dar took some more time off to recuperate.
Dar made a shocking return at Mutual Annihilation, BTWF's December Pay-Per-View, where he stopped an interference in the Gaia title match and helped fellow BTWF roster member Rocky win the championship, along with Seraph, Irvine Kanyon, and Ravena. From there, he went on to win a WarGames match at Absolute Zero, BTWF's January Pay-Per-View, with his team of Hell's Guardian, Maxwell Conners, Victor Bidwell and The Tiger to beat his rival Big Daddy, Raymond Kage, Shady, and the Twins of Death. One month later, Dar was entered into the Civil War match at the February Pay-Per-View of the same name. Dar won the match after coming in at the very beginning and going to the very end, eliminating Riona Langly to win. Dar was scheduled for a title shot against Omega at Legacy of Supremacy, BTWF's March Pay-Per-View and One Year Anniversary, but due to other circumstances, Steve Twist was also given the shot, thus making the match a Triple Threat. Dar won by pinning Omega after delivering the Ruination to the World Heavyweight Champ, and his dream was finally fulfilled after ten long months in the BTWF.
After Legacy of Supremacy, one of the most well-known faces in the BTWF, Maxwell Conners, suddenly took on a mean streak, discovering a sudden hate for the fans. This all started when he attacked his tag team partner and former friend, Stephen Ford, when Ford made a mistake that cost them the tag team titles. Meanwhile, Dar was set to face Omega for his rematch at the World Title at Payback, but it was revealed that Omega, after all the attacks delivered to his neck during the Triple Threat match at Legacy of Supremacy, had slipped a disc, and needed to take time off to get surgery and recover. Due to this, Brian Blade decided to make a match at Payback between Conners and Ford, the winner going on to face Dar later in the night for the World Heavyweight Championship. Conners won this match due to the usage of a steel chair, and went on to fight a hard battle against Dar, ending when Joe Schmoe was knocked out inadvertently, allowing Conners to grab the world title, going to hit Dar in the back of the head with it...
However, The Tiger came down to stop this, but this brought out Bryan Kutterman, an all out brawl ensuing as Stephen Ford also made his way down to the ring. This was all stopped by none other than Anthony Voorhees, however, who destroyed everyone in the ring, including Dar, before holding up the world title, showing his desire for the belt. Two weeks later, after continued tension between the six men, Dar finally announced that he would be defending his title against all five of them at BloodBath '05 in the BTWF's second ever Garden of Evil match...The week before, Dar was crucified by Anthony Voorhees, as were tthe other four men. This gave Dar a new motivation going into the Garden of Evil, and Dar ended up winning after one of the most brutal matches ever seen in the BTWF (and after getting his revenge on Voorhees by putting him through two flaming tables wrapped in barbed wire via a Factorplex off a ladder).
The next week on the renowned Steve Twist's Tale of the Tape, the "White Phoenix" had Bryan Kutterman, a competitor in the Garden of Evil as his guest. Bryan displayed his want for the title, and after an argument between Twist and Kutterman over the value of hardcore wrestling, Dar came down to stop the insults before a fight broke out. After speaking with Kutterman for a moment, Dar offered him a chance to get a title shot if he could last ten minutes with him in a match one week later. Bryan succeeded, and at the BTWF Tournament of Gods II, Dar managed to retain his title after one of the most hard-fought, brutal striking matches the BTWF had ever seen, putting Bryan away with an Emerald Fusion off the top turnbuckle. At the same Pay-Per-View, Killa K, a Coast-To-Coast Wrestling champion who made his way to the BTWF at BloodBath '05, beat The Demon, Jack Frost and Austin Azure all in one night to earn a shot at Dar's title. Will the newcomer continue his winning streak and take the title off Dar at Madness: Night of Champions IV? Only time will tell...

Signature Moves
Vortex Buster: An F-5 Set-Up into a Gutbuster
Downgrade: The attacker lifts the victim up onto his shoulders so that the victim lays on his side, with his body facing toward the attacker's head. The attacker wraps his arms around the victim's neck and legs, then pulls forward, making the victim's body go into a C shape, with their body wrapped around the back of the attacker's head. The attacker then falls to a sitting position, pulling down on the victim's back and legs at the same time, stretching out the victim's spine in a Falling Backbreaker (think Abyss's Shock Treatment).
Factorplex: The attacker applies a Half Nelson to the victim with his left arm, then reaches down and threads his arm under the victim's right leg, pulling up so that the victim's right leg is bent as if marching, then pulls it up farther until he can lock his hands behind the victim's head. The attacker then flexes backwards, slamming the victim down into a Half Nelson Suplex, but with a cradle applied to bridge the maneuver.
Avalanche Muscle Buster: Dar sets his opponent up on the top rope, facing towards the ring. Dar then climbs up onto the middle ropes and grabs his opponent's head, tucking it against his shoulder so that the back of their neck is placed against it, and their chin is tucked down into their chest. Dar then hooks both his opponent's legs and lifts them up so that they're upside down before falling back, driving his opponent's head and neck down into his shoulder and the mat.
Endgame: The attacker pulls the victim into a Standing Head Scissors, then lifts the opponent up into a Piledriver position. The attacker then pulls the opponent farther up until the victim's shoulders are level with the attacker's hips. The attacker then jumps up into the air and swings their legs out to the side and up over the victim's arms, setting them in the victim's armpits and falling down into a sitting position, driving the opponent's head and neck down into the mat. A devastating maneuver that Dar doesn't use very often.
Triumviritae Suplex: Dar hits a German Suplex followed by a Dragon Suplex followed by a Tiger Suplex, which is usually bridged.
X-Plosion Kick: Dar sets a steel chair up with a side of the chair facing a flat surface, such as the steel ring barrier or a cage wall. Dar then puts his opponent down so that they're sitting in the chair, then moves away to get some distance before running forward and hitting a Yakuza Kick into the side of his opponent's head, bashing their head into the flat surface and scraping the bottom of his boot across their face.
Sudden Stop: The attacker gets the victim in the corner with their back against the turnbuckles, then lifts up the victim and turns them around to set them on the top turnbuckle, facing the crowd. The attacker then climbs out onto the apron and onto the top turnbuckle, pulling the victim forward and laying the victim's arm across the attacker's shoulders, behind the attacker's head. The attacker holds the victim across the top of the chest. The attacker then jumps off the turnbuckle and leans down, landing on his knees and driving the back and back of the victim's head down into the mat. In other words, a Book End off the top turnbuckle.
Archetype Cutter Mark V: The attacker applies an Inverted Facelock (Dragon Sleeper) on the victim, then reaches down with their free arm and grabs the victim's tights/leg, lifting them up so they are vertical and upside down, as if about to go for a Reverse Vertical Suplex. Instead of falling backwards, however, the attacker lets the victim slip backwards until they land on their feet behind the attacker. As the attacker does this, the attacker jumps up into the air and lands in a sitting position, pulling the victim down into a Stone Cold Stunner.
Finishers
X-DRILLAH: Dar hits his opponent with a Toekick or some other maneuver to make them bend over, then Gutwrenches them up onto his shoulder before pulling them over so that their head hangs across the front of his body. Dar then drops down to a sitting position, driving his opponent's head right down into the mat. A Fire Thunder Driver.
Archetype Breaker: This devastating submission hold is a combination of a Hammerlock, Dragon Sleeper, and Mexican Surfboard. First, Dar applies a Hammerlock to his opponent's right arm, twisting it up around behind them. Then, while keeping the Hammerlock held in with his right arm, Dar reaches his left arm around and slips it around his opponent's neck, pulling them down into a Dragon Sleeper while keeping the Hammerlock locked in. Dar then moves his feet forward and twists them around his opponent's feet, then falls onto his back and lifts his opponent up into the air via his legs like a Mexican Surfboard, but keeps the Dragon Sleeper and Hammerlock locked in. This devastating submission targets the shoulder, neck, and back all at once.
Rare Finishers
Ruination: The attacker pulls the victim into a Standing Head Scissors, then lifts the victim up into a Powerbomb position. The attacker grabs the victim's waist and lifts them up again, as if about to go for a Last Ride, but instead pushes the opponent backwards so that the victim falls over the attacker's back. The attacker quickly grabs the back of the victim's legs to stop the victim from falling completely, and holds the victim's legs over his shoulders, the victim now hanging upside down, facing the attacker's back, with his head now level with the attacker's hip. The attacker then jumps up and lands in a sitting position, driving the victim's head down into the mat hard.
(SUPER RARE ULTIMATE DEATH "WHY WON'T HE DIE?!?!?!?" FINISHER) - Vertigo: Dar sets his opponent up on the top turnbuckle with them facing the ring, then climbs up onto the top ropes himself. Dar then lifts the opponent up into a standing position while still on the top turnbuckle before throwing their right arm behind his neck and grabbing them across the chest with his right arm. Finally, Dar jumps back into a Moonsault off the top turnbuckle, tucking his head in and landing vertical, driving his opponent's head down into the mat before letting them fall over onto their back with his arm still draped across their chest for a pin. A Head-Drop C4 off the top turnbuckle.
Gimmick: Dar considers himself to be the "X Factor", or, the unpredictable element in every match that keeps the outcome shrouded in mystery. He uses a style consisting mostly of power moves and hard strikes, though will mix in a few submission moves to soften up the area he's targeting even more, this usually being the back or the head/neck. He has a bit of an egotistical streak, but the fans can usually look past this, especially after Dar's statement of attempting to make the BTWF World Heavyweight Championship the most important and sought-after belt in Gaian wrestling.
