Vic Cross: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Fatal Four Way match for the Gaia Championship!”

“ONE OF A KIND!!!”

“Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, weighing in at 260 lbs and standing 6’ 4” tall, he was the winner of the Gaia Gauntlet and is the first challenger in this match-up, Rocky!” Rocky comes out from the back looking determined and ready. Unlike his usual self he doesn’t seem friendly and instead just makes his way to the ring calmly and waits for his competitors to come out.

*Super Beast by Rob Zombie plays on the Barton Arena sound system.* “Next, from Houston, Texas, weighing in at 240 lbs and standing 6’ 6” tall, The Punisher!” Punisher makes his way out to the entrance ramp looking like a man possessed he walks down to the ring slowly and enters via the ring steps before staring Rocky down. Joe Schmoe keeps the two separate so the other competitors can make it out to the ring.

*Super Beast cuts out and Right Now by KoRn starts to play.* “And the final challenger into this match, from Kelowna, British Columbia, weighing in at 210 lbs and standing 6’ 4” tall, ‘The Rage in the Kage’, Raymond Kage!” Kage comes out with his face already red expressing anger. He makes his way down to the ring and when he climbs up the ring steps he punches the steel ring post a couple of times before entering the ring. Immediately after he steps into the ring his music cuts out.

*The BarTron changes to a black background quickly flashing white letters one at a time. S-T-E-V-E A bolt of lightning is seen on the BarTron and thunder echoes through the arena as more letters appear. T-W-I-S-T A typhoon is shown on the BarTron before four spires of blue fire come out from the top of the entrance ramp and Disease by Sevendust blares through the arena.* Victor Cross: “And the final entrant into this match, from Muskegon, Michigan, standing 6’ 2” and weighing 235 lbs, he is the Gaia Champion, Steve Twist!” Steve slowly walks out from the back as the crowd goes wild for him. He just stands at the top of the ramp gazing at his opponents in the middle of the ring for about half a minute before finally sprinting down to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and jumps to his feet, flipping his hood off in the process. He takes the Gaia Championship off of his waist and gives it to Joe Schmoe as he removes his coat and necklace. Joe Schmoe shows all of the men in the ring the belt before flashing it to the crowd and handing it to the outside.

The bell rings…

All four men now stand one in each corner of the ring looking both ways for movement from the others. Before long all four men start moving in a counter-clockwise circle around the ring. As they each make it to the next corner Punisher runs suddenly at Rocky and nails him with a clothesline. On the other side of the ring Steve and Kage come together and go into a collar and elbow tie-up. Steve manages to push Kage back into the corner and keeps him held but Joe Schmoe comes over and separates them. Kage comes out from the corner a bit and the two lock up again. Meanwhile Punisher and Rocky have begun exchanging right hands near the center of the ring. Rocky starts knocking Punisher back more and winds up for one last big punch. Punisher ducks it though and catches Rocky with a chop-block to his left knee which takes him down. After this Punisher hits a couple of stomps to the left leg of Rocky before mounting him and nailing him with punches to the head. Steve and Kage are still feeling each other out in this match as they once again go into a lock up. This time Steve takes the advantage and puts Kage in a headlock. Kage fights out and pushes Steve at the ropes. Steve manages to jump on the second rope and springboards off, turning in mid-air and hitting Kage with a crossbody. Steve hooks the leg and covers, 1…kick out by Kage.

As Steve picks Kage back up Punisher does the same with Rocky who has taken a beating early on. Steve sees Punisher with Rocky and grabs Kage’s arm whipping him at the other two. Punisher sees this and whips Rocky at Kage. Rocky and Kage meet in the middle of the ring but instead of colliding Rocky ducks as Kage leapfrogs over him. Both Steve and Punisher end up on the bad ends of clotheslines and go down to the mat. Rocky picks Steve up while Kage begins kicking Punisher in the ribs and head. Rocky puts Steve into a front facelock and hits him with a stalling vertical suplex. Steve holds his back as Rocky brings him back up to his feet again. Rocky applies another front facelock and tries for another vertical suplex but Steve blocks it using his leg. Steve hits a knee to the gut of Rocky before whipping him into the far set of ropes. Rocky passes near where Kage has Punisher in the corner choking him and Joe Schmoe is trying to break it up before he comes back. Steve has been waiting at the opposite set of ropes and springboards off the second one as Rocky returns. Steve goes to hit Rocky with a kick but Rocky rolls under the attempt from Steve. They both turn around and lock up again after this. Back in the corner with Kage and Punisher Kage is still beating Punisher down and finally drags Punisher to his feet. Kage throws Punisher between the top and second rope to the outside before quickly going over and clubbing Steve in the back. This makes Steve let go of the lock up and Rocky hits him in the face with a right hand. Kage grabs the left arm of Steve as Rocky grabs the right and they whip him into the ropes. Steve heads towards the ropes but jumps up onto the top one instead of hitting them. Steve flips backwards and hits Kage and Rocky with a Double Moonsault Reverse DDT!

Steve slowly gets back to his feet and grabs Rocky up from the ground. Steve puts him in a front facelock and puts him up for a vertical suplex. Steve keeps the held locked in though as he rolls over and sets Rocky up for another one. Rocky doesn’t let this happen though as he kicks Steve in the gut and takes him down into a crossface! Steve screams in pain from the maneuver and tries to get to the ropes. Kage begins to get up and sees that his chance at gaining the title is in jeopardy. Kage goes over to break up the hold but as he does this Kage he gets blindsided by Punisher. Punisher starts pounding away at the downed Kage as Steve continues struggling to get out of the crossface. Finally Steve gives up going for the ropes and rolls through on the crossface. This allows Steve to break free and he locks in an ankle lock! Rocky is shocked and desperate to get to the ropes to avoid an ankle injury. Punisher sees this and gets to his feet before taking a swing at Steve. Steve falls to a knee to duck this while keeping the ankle of Rocky locked in the hold. Punisher tries again and connects this time, knocking Steve backwards into the ropes. Punisher charges at Steve but Steve back body drops Punisher to the outside! Both Kage and Rocky begin to get to their feet inside the ring. Steve sees them doing so and jumps up onto the second rope. Before he can pull off the maneuver he wants to though Kage rushes forward and knocks him over the top rope and to the outside as well. Rocky then comes up behind Kage, grabs him, and tosses him between the top and second rope to the outside. Rocky now stands in the middle of the ring looking down at the three bodies on the outside and gets an idea. He goes over to the corner nearest where everyone has fallen to the outside and climbs up it. Punisher begins to get up and Kage does also but Steve looks out cold. As soon as Kage and Punisher turn around to face Rocky he jumps off and hits them with a double flying clothesline from the ring to the floor! Rocky gets up from the floor quickly only to get hit with a picture perfect dropkick from Steve.

Now Steve is the only one left standing in this match and he slides into the ring. He tries to catch his breath a bit as the rest of the competitors slowly get up but as soon as he sees them get to their feet he runs to the far rope and bounces off of it. Steve hits an amazing Suicida Dive to the outside and takes everyone out! Both Kage and Punisher look the worst for ware but Steve begins coughing up some blood after that last move. Finally Steve and Rocky begin to move and when they get up Kage and Punisher do also. Steve and Rocky begin to brawl on the outside going nearer and nearer to the announce table. Punisher and Kage on the other hand get into the ring and start actually wrestling. The two lock up and Punisher quickly hits a knee to the gut before hitting a DDT on Kage. Punisher covers, 1…2…kick out by Kage. Punisher swiftly gets back to a vertical base and brings Kage back up with him. Punisher whips Kage into the corner near where Steve and Rocky are still fighting on the outside and charges him. Kage moves out of the corner and goes behind Punisher using an inside cradle, 1…2…kick out. They both get up and lock up again except this time Kage hits Punisher in the face with a forearm and throws him back to the outside of the ring. Steve and Rocky have exhausted their punches by now as they battle right in front of the announce table. Neither of them pays Kage throwing Punisher out of the ring any attention as they continue to try and knock the other down. Finally Rocky grabs Steve by the neck and smashes his head into the announce table. Steve flops over like a fish out of water before Rocky brings him back to his feet. Rocky throws him onto the top of the announce table and climbs up it himself. Steve manages to get to his knees before Rocky goes to grab him and he delivers a few elbows to Rocky’s gut before getting up to his feet. Both of them start going back to punches again but both look tired. Without warning Kage comes up behind Rocky on the announce table. Kage grabs Rocky in a full nelson and lets Steve slug away at him. Back in the ring Joe Schmoe seems to be taking a break and just watching this brawl tire itself out. That is until Punisher comes up behind Schmoe and bashes him in the head with his baseball bat. Now the ref is down in the match and Punisher is making his way towards the three other in the match with his bat.

After the brutal beat down by Kage and Steve Rocky is disposed of to the ground in front of the announce table. Kage and Steve then stare each other down before Kage’s legs are taken out by a swing of Punisher’s bat. Kage falls down on the announce table and Punisher takes another swing, this one at Steve. Steve jumps over it before kicking Punisher in the face. This knocks Punisher back but he catches himself using Kage. With Kage hanging halfway off of the announce table Punisher climbs up the announce table. When Steve goes to kick him again Punisher throws the bat at Steve and it nails him in the midsection. Steve goes down to one knee as Punisher stands up on the table and kicks Kage off. Punisher takes Steve and knees him in the gut before putting him into a front facelock. Punisher goes to vertical suplex Steve through the table but Steve counters and falls behind Punisher. Steve grabs Punisher in a full-nelson…DRAGON SUPLEX THROUGH THE TABLE!!! The crowd starts shouting “Holy Shit” immediately knowing Punisher’s neck may very well be broken. Both men start coughing up a ton of blood and the sight is sickening. Rocky just stands there staring as he had gotten up just in time to see it. He can’t even believe it but he doesn’t waste time on it as he throws Kage back into the ring, wakes up Schmoe enough so he can count, and covers Kage, 1…2…kick out by Kage. Rocky sits up on his knees and still seems to care less Kage kicked out as he looks back out at the carnage where the announce table once was. Unfortunately for him Kage hadn’t noticed or cared and he nails Rocky in the jaw with a hard shot before getting to his feet. Kage begins stomping on the down Rocky before picking him up and whipping him into the ropes. Rocky finally begins to pay attention to the task at hand as he catches himself with the ropes instead of going back at Kage. Both walk forward and lock up in the middle of the ring, Kage managing to get the upper hand and putting Rocky in a front facelock. Rocky hits Kage with a few punches to the gut though and breaks out before trying to whip Kage at a set of ropes. Kage reverses the whip though and throws Rocky into the ropes. Kage hits Rocky with a drop toe hold as he comes back before putting him in a Clover Leaf leg lock.

Rocky is in noticeable pain and Kage seems to love it. Slowly but surely Rocky works his way to the nearest bottom rope to get Kage to break the hold. Kage is relentless in keeping it locked though and pulls Rocky back out to the middle of the ring. Rocky doesn’t want to tap but if Kage holds this much longer he will be forced to. Suddenly Kage lets go of the hold and looks like he has seen a ghost. Steve has managed to pull himself up to the ring apron but he has blood running down his chest and he is still spitting it from his mouth. Steve doesn’t waste time dwelling on this though as he jumps up over the top rope and enters into a fist fight with Kage. Kage begins to get the advantage with a couple of European uppercuts and knocks Steve back into the ropes. He whips Steve at the parallel set of ropes and moves towards the center of the ring as Steve comes back. Kage goes to hit Steve with a dropkick but Rocky grabs onto Kage’s legs. This allows Steve to jump up and nail Kage with a flying forearm that knocks him down. Steve kicks Kage to the outside of ring after this but Rocky comes up from behind Steve and pushes him into the ropes, reverse roll-up by Rocky, 1…2…kick out by Steve. Both men make it to their feet but Steve is slower, holding his back some. They lock up and Steve takes Rocky into a headlock. From there Rocky lifts him up into a back drop. Steve cringes as he hits the ground and Rocky tries for another cover, 1…2…kick out. Rocky slowly gets to his feet, purposely taking his time. He drags Steve up and puts him in a front facelock before hitting him with a snap suplex. Rocky doesn’t cover again though but instead brings Steve back up into a waistlock. Rocky goes to hit a German Suplex but Steve reverses it and turns around into his own German Suplex. Steve keeps the waistlock held though as he takes Rocky up for another one, and another. Steve hits a fourth German Suplex and brings Rocky up for a final German Suplex with a bridge, 1…2…kick out by Rocky.

Both men are down on the ground, Steve holding his back and Rocky holding his neck. Slowly but surely they both begin to get to their feet. Unbeknownst to Steve Kage has made his way back into the ring on the top turnbuckle behind Steve. Kage jumps off the top and hits Steve with a Missile dropkick to the back. Steve goes down in a heap but neither Kage nor Rocky can go for the pin with the other in the way. Rocky charges Kage only to get a sudden kick to the gut and the London Lament! Cover by Kage, 1…2…foot on the ropes by Rocky! Kage is livid and picks Rocky up looking to hit him with the move again. Miraculously Rocky is saved by none other than Punisher who has made it back into the ring. He too is a bloody mess and his punch to Kage doesn’t do much more then anger Kage. Kage starts punching away at Punisher and knocks him back into the near corner. Punisher looks dazed but when Kage steps back and charges at Punisher all he gets is a boot to the face. Punisher shoots out of the corner and hits Kage with The Punishment! Punisher covers, 1…2…Steve just breaks up the count. Punisher gets up slowly along with Steve. Punisher doesn’t hesitate in kicking Steve down to the ground before beginning to beat the hell out of him. The crowd starts booing Punisher but he keeps going until blood starts to come out from Steve’s forehead. Now Steve’s face is covered and blood and he doesn’t look like he can make it to the end of this match. Finally after Punisher is satisfied with the beat down he has given Steve he tosses him out of the ring but Steve lands on the ring apron instead of the floor.

Rocky finally begins to get up to his feet and as Punisher turns around Rocky charges him and hits him with a spear! Punisher goes down hard and Rocky sees his chance to go to the top rope. Rocky climbs up slowly but makes it to the top with Punisher still down. Rocky looks to go for the Moonsault but Kage comes up from behind Rocky and crotches him. Rocky is in pain on the top as Kage climbs up to the top turnbuckle and grabs Rocky for a top rope back drop. Punisher has managed to get up though and hits Kage in the back. Instead of throwing Kage down off of the turnbuckle Punisher goes under Kage and sets him up for a powerbomb. Kage has Rocky ready for a back drop and Punisher has Kage ready for a powerbomb but that isn’t all. Steve has somehow gotten back to his feet on the ring apron and jumps up onto the top rope Punisher lets loose with the powerbomb and all three men plunge to the mat as Steve jumps into the air. Steve connects with a leg drop onto the neck of Rocky at the exact same time Punisher, Kage, and Rocky nail the mat from the three man tower! Steve quickly hooks the leg of Rocky for a cover, 1…2…Punisher breaks it up. Now Punisher and Steve come to a face to face stare down with Kage and Rocky down near the edge of the ring. Punisher slowly backs off before charging at Steve with a clothesline. Steve sees it coming and ducks under the arm of Punisher before coming back up and nailing him with a running neckbreaker. Punisher looks like he is out cold after all the abuse his neck has taken but Steve decides against covering. Instead Steve drags Punisher to his knees and puts him in an inverted facelock before applying the Flood of Pain! Punisher screams out in pain once before going silent as Steve looks like he has this match won. Joe Schmoe goes over to them and raises Punisher’s arm up into the air and it drops. One! Schmoe takes Punisher’s arm and puts it up in the air again and it drops. Two! Schmoe slowly lifts Punisher’s arm up in the air one more time but as he goes to release it Kage comes from behind Steve and hits him in the back to break the hold.

Steve lets Punisher drop as he holds his back after the punch to the spine. Kage turns Steve around and kicks him in the gut before setting him up for a powerbomb. Kage swiftly raises Steve up onto his shoulders but Steve manages to keep going into a sunset flip. Cover by Steve, 1…Steve picks Kage up onto his shoulders before letting his top half fall so it is close to the ground. Steve steps over Kage’s arms but Rocky comes up from behind and knees Steve in the back before sticking him into an inverted facelock and hitting him with an inverted DDT. Cover by Rocky, 1…2…2 ½ count. Rocky can’t believe it but he doesn’t waste time as he picks Steve up and places him into a front facelock. Rocky lifts Steve up into the air and hits him with the Avalanche! Cover by Rocky, 1…2…Kage just breaks up the count. Rocky is furious and he starts exchanging punches with Kage. Kage doesn’t let this go on long though as he kicks Rocky in the gut and sets him up for the Spire Driver! It connects and Rocky is out of it. Kage is down for a few moments before he at last crawls over and covers Rocky, 1…2…Punisher makes the save! Now Kage is pissed and he goes right after Punisher. They lock up and Kage whips Punisher into the far set of ropes. Kage bounces off the near ropes and the two get ready to meet in the middle of the ring. Kage jumps up to hit Punisher with a head scissors takedown but Punisher stops himself and catches Kage. Punisher drills Kage to the mat with a powerbomb before lifting him back up to his feet. Punisher nails Kage with the Mash Slam! Punisher covers, 1…2…foot on the ropes! Punisher didn’t notice how close Kage was to the ropes but he doesn’t get held up on it as he grabs Punisher’s leg off the ropes and hooks it for another pin, 1…2…arm on the ropes! Now Punisher is upset and brings Kage to his feet. Punisher throws Kage to the outside of the ring and looks around at what remains.

Both Rocky and Steve are still down and out inside of the ring and Punisher goes over to Rocky to try a cover, 1…2…kick out by Rocky. After this Punisher quickly goes over to Steve and covers him, 1…2…kick out by Steve. Punisher is a bit angry with this but figures he’ll just finish one off and decides upon Steve. Slowly Punisher drags Steve to his feet and whips him into the far set of ropes. Punisher moves into the middle of the ring after this and bends down to hit the returning Steve with a back body drop. Steve sees this coming from a mile away though and puts on the brakes before kicking Punisher in the face as he comes back. Swiftly Steve puts Punisher’s head between his legs as if going for a powerbomb. Instead of lifting Punisher up though Steve jumps forward and hits Punisher with a Sunset Flip Piledriver! The crowd begins cheering loudly at Steve probably killing Punisher for the second time in this match and counts along as Steve makes the cover, 1…2…NO! Rocky breaks up the count at 2 ¾ with a kick to the head of Steve!

Punisher gets shoved aside now as Rocky and Steve stare each other down again. They lock up but get no where as they seem equally matched. Finally Schmoe steps in to break it up but immediately after they go into it again. Rocky manages to get the advantage and he puts Steve into a wristlock. Steve flips through it and puts Rocky into a wristlock of his own but Rocky over powers Steve and puts him back into a wristlock being back at square one now Steve decides to try something different. He forces himself through the pain to move near the ropes. Steve flips through on the wristlock and lands on the second rope. Steve springboards off it as he breaks Rocky’s grip and turns in midair grabbing Rocky’s head for a DDT. Rocky manages to force Steve to land on his feet with the front facelock still in before using a Belly to Belly Cradle, 1…2…2 ½ count. Rocky hits the mat once after this but gets back up before locking up with Steve. Steve manages to get control this time and whips Rocky into the ropes. When Rocky comes back Steve leapfrogs over him runs to the set of ropes Rocky just came from. The two meet in the ring with Steve jumping up onto the shoulders of Rocky. Rocky catches Steve easily and nails him with an unexpected powerbomb pin, 1…Rocky picks Steve back up though and lets Steve’s top half hang down before he steps over Steve’s arms. Steve manages to kick Rocky in the face though before Rocky can finish. Steve crawls under Rocky quickly before getting back to his feet behind Rocky. When Rocky turns around he is met by a kick to the gut by Steve and Steve setting him up for the Full Fury! NO! Kage comes back into the ring and Steve lets Rocky fall to the ground. Kage has a chair with him and goes to hit Steve but Steve ducks and he nails Schmoe instead. Now the ref is out of this match for the second time and Kage is going to take advantage of that. The second swing of the chair from Kage connects with Steve’s skull. Kage then throws the chair to the ground before picking Steve up. This doesn’t last long though as Rocky grabs the chair off the ground. Kage lets Steve drop back down to the floor just in time to get a chair shot from Rocky. This makes Kage stumble back into the ropes as Rocky comes at him with another swing. Kage moves out of the way of this and the chair hits the ropes before bouncing right back into the face of Rocky. This cues Kage to cover Rocky but Schmoe is still out cold.

Kage looks around at what is left from the carnage of this match before going to the outside of the ring. He looks under the ring apron and quickly finds what he was looking for. Kage pulls out a table and sets it up on the outside of the ring. He goes back into the ring and looks around at who he wants to put through it. He decides on Rocky and brings him to his feet before dragging him along to the ring apron where the table is. Rocky begins to revive though and punches Kage while they are out on the ring apron. Kage falls off and Rocky jumps down, hitting Kage with a few more punches before throwing him up onto the table. Kage starts to get up on the table as Rocky climbs up on it. When they both are to their feet Rocky punches Kage in the gut before putting him in a front facelock. Rocky goes to lift Kage up but Kage blocks it before hitting Rocky with a knee to the gut. LONDON LAMENT THROUGH THE TABLE! Both Kage and Rocky are down and Rocky’s head is busted open. Kage is holding his left leg as he landed hard on it. Back in the ring Punisher has managed to somehow get back to his feet and is picking up Steve. Punisher grabs Steve by the head and takes him near the ropes showing him the mess on the outside saying “and now you are mine” to end his little speech that accompanies this. Punisher sets Steve up for the Punishment! NO! Steve grabs the ropes with his right arm to block the move and Punisher hits the ground hard. Steve picks him back up and nails him with the Twister! Both of them are down in piles of their own blood but Steve manages to crawl over and cover Punisher with one arm. Joe Schmoe finally gets back up to his knees and counts, 1…2…3!

Vic Cross: “And the winner of the match-up, and still the Gaia Champion, Steve Twist!”

*Disease plays but is barely heard because of the uncontrollable cheering of the crowd for what they just saw. Paramedics are rushed out to the ring afterwards to check on the competitors. Both Rocky and Punisher are put in neck braces and taken out on stretchers. Steve and Kage are taken out on stretchers too because of Steve’s back and Kage’s leg. Finally the ring is cleaned up a bit for the next match as well as the table remains on the outside. A new announce table is set up also. The crowd keeps cheering even after the competitors have been brought to the back, showing their respect for them.*
