The lights dim in the arena. A ferocious wind starts to blow all through the arena. Break you by Drowning Pool begins to play as Steve Twist walks down to the ring. He steps into the ring and a huge gust of wind envelopes the ring as lightning strikes all the turnbuckles. Trooper by Iron Maiden then begins and Omega walks out to the ring unafraid. Twist calls off the wind as Omega goes to get in the ring, but then just when Omega starts to step in he has the wind begin again. This blows a furious Omega out off the ring apron. Steve finally stops the wind and lets Omega get in. Both men start off in the middle of the ring, ready to fight. The belt is held up by the Ref, and flashed to the crowd. Omega offers a handshake to Steve, but kicks him in the gut. The crowd boos. Omega goes for an Irish whip to the ropes; Steve reverses it with an Irish whip into the turnbuckle. He attempts an early top rope superplex, only to be pushed off the tope rope by Omega. Omega waits for him to get up and goes for a cross body. Steve takes the cross body but rolls it over into a pin 1... Omega easily kicks out. Omega gets up and tries to punch Steve only to get kicked in the stomach before finding himself on the receiving end of a vertical suplex. Steve goes for a second one, but Omega flips over him and lands a reverse DDT. Omega gets up and taunts to the crowd. Steve does a roll up from behind 1…2… Omega kicks out and goes to get up, but gets his legs pulled out form him by Steve. Steve locks in the figure four in the middle of the ring. Omega quickly breaks the hold. Omega swiftly gets to his feet and kicks the inside of Steve’s thigh. He then locks in the Omega prison but Steve hurriedly gets to the ropes. Omega breaks the hold and picks up Steve, he performs a t-bone suplex. Omega picks him up again and throws some punches, a few kicks, and whips Steve into the ropes and does an arm drag, holding the arm drag on the ground and working the shoulder in an arm stretch. He holds that for a couple of minutes. Steve begins to gain momentum and starts to rise to the crowd’s cheers. He makes it to his feet. He elbows Omega in the gut, breaks the hold and does a scoop slam...holding it for 5 seconds before slamming Omega down to the mat. He gets on top of Omega and punches him several times in the head. After 5 or 6 punches, Omega throws him off of him and nails Steve with a high dropkick, sending him to the outside. Steve then tries to regroup, but Omega goes through the ropes onto the ring apron and does an Asai moonsault to Steve. Steve and Omega both slowly make it to their feet as the ref begins counting them out. 1…2…3…. An Irish whip by Omega into the barricade brings Steve down. Omega then drops Steve’s knee onto his own, and then onto the steel steps. 7…8… He tosses Steve back in the ring, rolls in and once again taunts the crowd. Omega turns around and Steve picks him up and throws him face first into the turnbuckle. Steve goes for a German suplex but his leg gives out and Omega jumps off the top and does a RVD back kick knocking Steve over. Omega then applies an Indian death lock on Steve. He wrenches Steve’s legs. Steve grabs the bottom rope and the hold is broke. Omega brings Steve up to his feet but Steve hits a hard uppercut. Steve then nails a huge belly to belly suplex. Both men are dazed and the ref begins a count. 1...2...3...4... they both get up. Steve starts throwing hooks and jabs then lands a DDT, 1…2… Omega kicks out. Steve gets up and starts stomping on Omega's legs and then places him in a sharpshooter. Omega breaks the hold and Steve goes flying into the corner. Steve runs at him but Omega delivers an arm drag. Steve follows suit with one of his own on Omega. Then Omega counters with another arm drag. Steve then looks like he will go for another but instead grabs Omega and slams him to the ground. Steve then puts Omega in a half Boston crab. Omega counters by rolling him over into a Boston crab. Steve breaks the Boston crab and then puts Omega back into a sharpshooter. Steve punishes Omega with the Sharpshooter as Omega tries to climb to the ropes. Just as he makes it Steve pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Omega finally makes it to the ropes and Steve breaks the hold. Steve goes to pick Omega up but is met with an elbow to the stomach. Omega then looks to go for the Ace Crusher but instead flips Steve over into a reverse DDT. Omega pins 1...2... Steve kicks out. As Omega brings Steve to his feet he looks confident in himself to finish this thing. Steve however hits a huge roundhouse kick that dazes Omega. He then hits 1, 2, 3 big time German suplexes and goes for a pin. 1…2… Omega kicks out. Steve picks Omega up from the ground but Omega hits Steve with a 180 spinning DDT. 1…2… Steve barely kicks out. Omega gets up and brings Steve to his feet. Steve throws Omega into the ropes though and nails a shining wizard. Instead of going for a pin fall Steve picks Omega back up to his feet. Steve then grabs him in a stunner position and looks at the crowd. He nails the Twister, and the crowd as well as Omega is stunned at its power. The ref counts him down. 1....2......Omega gets his foot on the bottom rope! Steve is furious and in a blinded rage he picks Omega back up. He sets him up for another Twister but Omega shoves him into the ropes. Steve falls and Omega locks in the Omega Prison. Steve tries and tries to get to the ropes. He finally makes it. Omega breaks the hold and lets Steve get up but delivers a hard dropkick to Steve's knees. Omega locks the Prison in again and Steve struggles to break it. Steve does, and then he goes to lock in the figure four. Omega doesn't let this happen though and shoves Steve back into the ropes. Omega then hits a drop toe hold on Steve and locks in the Prison once again. Steve struggles and struggles to get to the ropes. He just can’t quite get there. The ref asks him to give up, but he flips him the bird and keeps going. He finally falls to his face and the ref kneels down to see if he gives. Instead he sees blood trickling from his mouth and that Steve is not moving. He stops the match. The announcement is made that Steve Twist has passed out. So the winner of the match-up and the new Gaia Champion is: Omega. Omega raises the title with boos from the crowd. He goes to the back and the crowd starts chanting...Twist, Twist, Twist. Steve pulls himself up with the ropes to a huge standing ovation from the crowd. He may have lost but he won't be forgotten.
