|As this video package ends we return to live coverage in the Barton Arena where the barbed wire is in place for this next match. The arena is noticeably lower in the amount of people thanks to the violence that is sure to ensue in a match of this nature, but those who have stayed know that they are in for a bloody treat. Joe Schmoe is already in the middle of the ring, having come into the ring before the barbed wire was put up, and is ready to officiate this match as he has experience after being the referee for the first Barbed Wire Ropes Match in the BTWF. Victor Cross opts to stay on the outside of the ring like he did back at Ragnarok, especially since with the added barbed wire in this one the ability to enter and exit the ring is even harder than it was in the last match.|
Victor Cross: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the second ever Barbed Wire Ropes match in BTWF history! The rules for this match are similar to a regular match with pins and submissions counting towards gaining a victory, both having to be in the ring to be counted. The difference in this match is the obvious change in what will be used for ring ropes and also the fact there are no rules outside of the ability to gain a victory. Anything will go in this contest and with that in mind let me introduce the first man into this match..."
|Victor takes a quick breath after explaining the rules before getting ready to announce one of the two competitors in a match that everyone in the Barton Arena can't wait to get started. Not even the two in this match want to wait another second to get their hands on each other.|
"Introducing first, from an unknown location, weighing in at 218 lbs. and standing 6'1" tall, he is a member of Empty Promises, 'The Anarchist' Xunkai!"
|With this introduction from Cross "Double Bass" by the Gorillaz starts to play over the Barton Arena sound system and out from the back comes the arrogant Xunkai. At first glance it seems that he is wearing the same attire as he always does, but this time, just like the last PPV match he had, he is wearing tape on his hands. This is for a different reason than the last PPV though, and that reason is so he doesn't end up cutting his hands on the barbed wire that will be plentiful in this match. As Xunkai stops at the top of the entrance ramp he raises his hands above his head and places them in an X before bringing both arms down and doing a double throat cut taunt which gets jeers from the Barton crowd. Xunkai doesn't even bother with those meaningless individuals however, and slowly starts to walk down the entrance ramp towards the ring on which he notices the barbed wire ropes. Usually Xunkai would be anxious to get a piece of Steve, but after being beaten up pretty badly at the last PPV this doesn't bode well for the light heavyweight. Still, Xunkai isn't going to let these thoughts screw up his attentiveness to this match and the instinct he has that tells him, like so many other wrestlers, that they have to win. Keeping this sorted out in his head Xunkai makes it to the bottom of the entrance ramp before going over to the ring and carefully rolling under the bottom strands of barbed wire. He notices that even though there is more barbed wire for the ropes this time around the space between the strands is still about the same as the space between the regular ring ropes is. Xunkai keeps this in the back of his mind as he stands up to his feet and stares at the entrance ramp attentively, waiting for his opponent to come out and to get this match done as soon as possible to avoid injuries, perhaps even career ending ones.|
BRUISES!
"And his opponent, from Muskegon, Michigan, weighing in at 229 pounds and standing 6 foot 2 inches tall, he is 'The White Phoenix' Steve 'Savior' Twist!"
|With "Bruises" by Skindred having already started up as Victor Cross was announcing Steve the former Gaia and BTWF World Heavyweight Champion steps out from the back onto the top of the entrance ramp where he is showered in cheers except by a few members of the crowd who are from Durem. Steve doesn't even notice those jeers, or the cheers for that matter as he looks one hundred and ten percent focused on this contest. Just like Xunkai, Steve has his hands taped to avoid being by the barbed wire which he has much experience with. Instead of walking straight down the entrance ramp in a hurry Steve pauses at the top and whips his head backwards to make his hood fall backwards off his head while posing with his arms out to the side in a crucifix position. The fans enjoy this, but Xunkai doesn't as he knows Steve is just trying to rile up Xunkai as well as make sure the nervousness that Xunkai has for starting this match doesn't subside so easily once the bell is rung. Even so, Xunkai still keeps a straight face as Steve slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp, looking as confident as ever although minus the smile he might usually carry around on his face. Once Steve has made it to the bottom of the entrance ramp he looks up into the ring where Xunkai is before removing his vest at a snail like pace to anger Xunkai. Unfortunately this plan seems to fail as Xunkai stays put right where it is, but unbeknownst to Steve that is slightly due to the fear of being shredded up by the barbed wire ropes. After a few more moments of waiting once Steve has removed his vest "The White Phoenix" goes to slide into the ring, but suddenly Xunkai rushes forward and stomps at Steve which makes Steve slide right back out of the ring. To Xunkai's dismay Steve manages to do this without recklessness and didn't catch his back on the barbed wire ropes, but Xunkai will make sure to change that on Steve's next attempt at entering the ring, or he would if it wasn't for Joe Schmoe holding Xunkai back away from Steve to make sure both individuals can at least get into the ring unharmed. Steve smirks at Joe, who is always looking out for the safety of the wrestlers which is a very good thing, before sliding into the ring and jumping to his feet where he stares at Xunkai until Joe lets go of Xunkai and signals for the bell.|
The bell rings...
Just like in the last match between these two things get off to a quick start as they come together in the center of the ring and start exchanging right hands, much to the delight of the surprisingly blood thirsty Barton crowd. They trade a couple of hard jaw dislodging shots until Steve suddenly grabs Xunkai's right wrist as he is withdrawing his arm after a punch and goes to whip Xunkai across the ring. Xunkai doesn't budge though as he has just as quickly leaned backwards to stop Steve from being able to pull him around, keeping the ropes in mind very early in this match. This doesn't stop Steve who lets go of Xunkai for a moment, forcing the light heavyweight to regain his balance, before grabbing Xunkai's wrist again with his left hand and pulling Xunkai into an impactful Lariat from Steve that takes "The Anarchist" off his feet and to the ground. When Xunkai hits the ground he notices that Steve still has a hold of his right arm and is quickly being jerked back up to his feet by Steve who then hits another Lariat that takes Xunkai down once more. This time when Xunkai hits the ground he pulls at Steve's arm, making the slightly bigger man bend down a bit. Xunkai uses this slip up by Steve to break free from Steve's grasp and kip up to his feet before nailing Steve in the back of the head with a quick Enziugiri and falling back down to the ground. It only takes a few moments for both men to get back to their feet although Steve rubs the back of his head slightly as he gets up. Once both are back up and spot each other across the ring they come together in the middle of the ring once more, not wanting to get caught near the "ropes." Once in the middle of the ring Xunkai takes the lead by kicking Steve in the left leg, only for Steve to smack Xunkai across the chest with a hard chop. The two wrestlers stop after doing this and stare the other in the eyes for a few. Both then decide to go into a collar and elbow tie-up which confuses the fans slightly. The confusion stops and this starts to make sense after only a couple of seconds as Steve uses his strength to begin to shove Xunkai back towards the barbed wire ropes that will easily rip through the white tank top Xunkai has on. Xunkai can tell he is getting closer and closer to the ropes as the crowd begins to grow louder, and as he turns around he sees that he is only about a foot off from them. This calls for desperate measures which Xunkai goes right to as he breaks one hand free of the lock up and uses it to rake the eyes of Steve before falling to his back and rolling carefully to the outside of the ring.
Many jeers hit the ears of Xunkai as he stands up on the floor, but the former SF Champion could care less as he looks up at Steve, who rubs his eyes a bit, with a grin smeared across his face before lifting up the ring skirt and quickly pulling out a kendo stick that he had planted there for him. As Steve regains his eye sight he sees Xunkai on the floor with the kendo stick in his hand and knows that it won't be easy to get to Xunkai now. So instead of rushing into an obvious trap Steve starts to back away from Xunkai to let him back in the ring. Once Steve almost has his back on the ropes opposite of where Xunkai is on the left side of the ring Xunkai swiftly slides into the ring and stands up to his feet with the kendo stick still held tightly in his right hand. Steve seems to be at a loss of what to do as Xunkai slowly starts to approach him, but decides suddenly as he drops to his back and rolls out to the floor on the right side of the ring. Xunkai just laughs as Steve does this and yells at Steve if he really is just hype after all. Steve doesn't bother with giving Xunkai an answer and instead lifts the ring skirt up on this side of the ring and pulls out a kendo stick. This gets some cheers from the Barton crowd, but Xunkai doesn't seem to care as he backs away just like Steve had before to allow Steve back into the ring. Steve takes this opportunity and slides into the ring before standing back to his feet. Now the tension that has been growing all before and during this match between these two seems to be coming to a head and both slowly move towards the center of the ring with their respective kendo sticks held in both hands. Once they are less than three feet apart from each other Xunkai lifts his kendo stick above his head before slashing straight down at Steve who places his kendo stick above his head horizontally to block the blow. Steve then quickly lashes at Xunkai with a kick from his right leg while he pushes up on his kendo stick to make Xunkai's come off his and also to make Xunkai lose his balance. The kick from Steve connects with Xunkai's left side, but before Steve can pull his leg away Xunkai suddenly releases his hold on the kendo stick he has with his left hand and uses his left arm to trap Steve's leg. Now Steve's balance has been compromised and out of desperation he goes for a shot to the right side of Xunkai's head with his kendo stick, but once again Xunkai is a step ahead of it and blocks it with his kendo stick. Swiftly after doing this he pushes his kendo stick out to the right to remove Steve's kendo stick from it and suddenly lets it drop out of his hand before he grabs it once again while it is in mid-air so he has the middle held. Xunkai then thrusts the end of the kendo stick into Steve's throat which makes Steve drop the kendo stick he has and hold his throat before Xunkai shoves Steve away by using Steve's trapped right leg.
As Steve staggers backwards and holds his throat he doesn't notice how close he is getting to the barbed wire ropes, but luckily he stops right before them. Xunkai doesn't like this, but sees his chance as he places the kendo stick he has back in his right hand correctly and slowly comes towards Steve. Upon making it to where "The White Phoenix" is standing Xunkai raises the kendo stick above his head again with both hands on the handle before going to finish the downward slash he had went for last time. Once more Xunkai is unable to do so as Steve quickly falls to his knees and makes the kendo stick nail the top barbed wire strand before it bounces back at Xunkai who just stops it before it hits him in the face. Even so Xunkai is speedily hit with a hard right hand to the gut after this which makes him drop the kendo stick as Steve stands up to his feet and places Xunkai in front facelock. The crowd in the Barton Arena cheers excitedly as it seems the barbed wire will finally come into play in this match, but the cheers die down some as Steve walks forward and brings Xunkai more towards the middle of the ring. Steve doesn't stop here though as he continues to walk, right past the middle of the ring even, until he is nearing the opposite set of ropes with Xunkai. Steve then lifts Xunkai up into the air in position for a Vertical Suplex, but instead of going for a regular Vertical Suplex Steve starts to move forward at the barbed wire ropes, looking to drape Xunkai across the strands of barbed wire. Xunkai sees this is Steve's plan as well and starts to struggle to get out of Steve's grasp which he manages to do and lands behind Steve. As soon as Xunkai hits the ground he brings his arms out and shoves Steve forward into the ropes, but Steve shows his experience by placing the tape on his hands on the barbed wire as he stops himself from being the first one who is torn to shreds in this match. This annoys Xunkai greatly and "The Anarchist" decides to help Steve along by turning to his side and going for a kick from his right leg that is directed at Steve's lower back. Steve moves as Xunkai does this though and luckily for Xunkai he manages to miss the barbed wire strands as his leg stops in between the top and middle double strands of barbed wire. Steve turns around from where he has placed his back almost in one of the corners of the ring to see Xunkai quickly removing his leg from where it is surrounded by barbed wire and bringing it back to the ground.
Even while Steve and Xunkai have come close to hitting the barbed wire in this match neither has yet and the Barton crowd seems to be getting a bit annoyed, but still everyone can't help but get excited when either of the two men almost grazes the deadly wire. After Xunkai sets his leg back down he starts to walk backwards towards the middle of the ring once more while keeping an eye on Steve who follows him out of the corner he is positioned in. Once the two make it to the center of the ring Xunkai decides that he may have the answer to getting out of this match unscathed and while it is risky he decides to ask Steve for a knucklelock by placing his palms facing out towards Steve. Without even having to think about it Steve obliges and the two begin to struggle near the center of the ring to see who can gain control. It is a wonder how both can keep such cool heads when in the ring with someone they hate, but that is probably due to the high risk and danger placed on both individuals in a match like this. As Steve and Xunkai continue battling for power in the middle of the ring Xunkai starts to drop backwards due to having less strength than Steve. To the crowd this seems a bad thing, but this is exactly what Xunkai wanted and as he comes closer to the strands of barbed wire which have replaced the ropes he suddenly jumps into the air, placing his knees on the abdomen of Steve and going to lean backwards to monkey flip Steve into the ropes! Steve has this scouted though and as Xunkai jumps up Steve suddenly rushes forward and makes Xunkai slam back first into the top set of barbed wire strands before falling down and catching every strand with his shirt and back! The fans in the Barton Arena give an enormous pop for this and after Xunkai comes to a stop on his bottom on the mat Steve lets go of the knucklelock and grabs Xunkai by the hair before pulling Xunkai back up to his feet along the ropes. Steve then jerks Xunkai away from the barbed wire strands so they catch his back and cut his already bloody back open more! Once Steve has Xunkai in the middle of the ring he spins the hurting light heavyweight around to see Xunkai's shredded up back and the completely cut open white tank top that Xunkai has on which is also stained with blood. Steve gets an idea as he looks at this and grabs Xunkai's tank top before ripping it off the rest of the way and placing it around Xunkai's throat as the former SF Champion continues focusing on holding his grinded up back.
Steve uses his right leg to step on the back of Xunkai's legs to make him fall to his knees as Steve starts to choke Xunkai with his own shirt. After a few moments of doing this Steve forcefully starts to shove Xunkai forward on his knees until Xunkai is back by the barbed wire ropes. While continuing to choke Xunkai with his own shirt Steve now places Xunkai's face onto the two middle strands of barbed wire and begins scrape Xunkai's face against the "rope" which makes blood start to pour from the forehead of Xunkai along with some from his nose and cheeks that are caught by the barbed wire as Steve continues pushing Xunkai back and forth on the wire. As the blood really starts to run down Xunkai's face it is mopped up by the shirt Steve still has around Xunkai's throat which turns from white to crimson in a hurry. After a few more moments of torturing Xunkai this way Steve decides to stop and takes the shirt away from Xunkai's neck before throwing it to the outside of the ring and lifting Xunkai up by his hair. With Xunkai up he turns "The Anarchist" around so he is facing Steve and has his already torn up back placed against the barbed wire ropes. Steve just smiles evilly at Xunkai before turning around and going to pick up one of the kendo sticks from their duel earlier. Upon picking this up Steve walks back over to Xunkai and goes to hit Xunkai with a slash like Xunkai has tried to hit Steve with, but somehow Xunkai brings his hands into the air above his head and blocks the shot from the kendo stick. Keeping hold of it Xunkai kicks Steve in the gut to shove him away before setting the kendo stick in his hands correctly and slamming it into Steve's head as Steve tries to come back at Xunkai with a right hand. This brutal shot makes Steve drop to his knees and Xunkai thinks about finishing Steve off, but instead decides to throw the kendo stick down and grab Steve by the head before tossing him into the barbed wire ropes! Steve goes through the top and second ropes, but ends up getting caught on them so he is hanging on his midsection on the barbed wire. Luckily, or rather unluckily, for Steve Xunkai is ready to assist Steve by grabbing the flailing legs of "The White Phoenix" and shoving him forward so the barbed wire cuts into Steve's abdomen before Steve falls out to the floor below.
Some jeering is directed at Xunkai, but most of the fans have now taken a sit back and watch approach to this match, just chiming in when they feel it is necessary. Xunkai tries to recover some in the ring while Steve sits up against the ring barricade on the floor and looks at his stomach which has large gashes in it and is starting to bleed badly. Even so, Steve can feel the adrenaline rushing through his veins and the anger that is filling up his head and clouding his better judgement as he gets to his hands and knees before crawling towards the ring apron and lifting up the ring skirt. On the inside of the ring Xunkai can't quite see what is going on outside because he is backing away towards the far side to possibly let Steve in the ring. When Xunkai sees Steve's head pop up from underneath the ring however, he quickly runs forward and as Steve stands up Xunkai goes for a TOPE CON HILO THROUGH THE BARBED WIRE ROPES! When Xunkai goes through the ropes though Steve stands back up fully to reveal a BARBED WIRE HOCKEY STICK WHICH HE HITS XUNKAI WITH!! The barbed wire hockey stick holds together as Xunkai gets absolutely slaughtered with it and drops down to the floor below with the barbed wire from the stick still embedded in his back. "Holy shit" chants quickly fill the Barton Arena, but Steve doesn't take time to bask in them as he harshly pulls up on the hockey stick which makes the barbed wire tear free from the skin of Xunkai which opens up to reveal more crimson. Steve isn't done yet either as he throws the hockey stick in the ring and lifts up the ring skirt once more while Xunkai is still down in a bloody heap. Out from under the ring Steve pulls a rather large barbed wire board which he then lifts and shoves into the ring after checking to make sure Xunkai is still out. Steve then goes under the ring once more and pulls out another barbed wire weapon, this time it is a chair much to the delight of the crowd. Steve now lets the ring skirt fall back to its place and turns around to measure up Xunkai who is slowly getting up to his feet and appears to be in a lot of pain. After getting to his knees Xunkai stops for just a moment in which Steve goes to swing the chair at Xunkai, but Xunkai is able to swiftly move out of the way and get to his feet as Steve does this. Not one to be denied Steve lifts the chair back up again and turns around to where Xunkai is standing before bringing the chair up to swing it again. As Steve brings the chair up near his face though Xunkai suddenly jumps into the air and hits Steve with a GANMENGIRI TO THE BARBED WIRE CHAIR!!
Steve goes down in a heap like Xunkai had before him and "The Anarchist" makes sure to use this time to rest as he is still hurting and starting to become dizzy from blood loss. After a few more moments of resting on the ground Xunkai pushes himself up to his feet and goes over to where Steve has pushed the barbed wire chair away from his face to reveal a slightly bloody forehead. While Xunkai seems to like this he doesn't seem very satisfied and kicks Steve in the side of the head once before bending over to try and pick Steve up off the ground. When Xunkai does this he realizes that Steve isn't trying to get up at all and might be knocked out. Xunkai smirks at this fact and drops Steve's head before grabbing the barbed wire chair that is right next to Steve and placing it over his face. From here Xunkai stands back up and jumps onto the ring apron while making sure to not hit the barbed wire before turning around and looking at Steve who is still out of it on the ground. The crowd starts to jeer the no doubt sadistic intentions of Xunkai, but that won't stop Xunkai as he jumps off the ring apron and hits a DOUBLE STOMP TO THE BARBED WIRE CHAIR!!! With just a regular chair a move like this is dangerous, but the barbed wire only adds to that and as Xunkai staggers forward after hitting the chair the reason is shown. Right next to the chair that has slid off Steve's face is Steve who has blood covering his entire face with large gashes on his forehead and one on his eyebrow that makes blood leak down into his right eye. Also, Steve is bleeding really bad from his nose that might be broken, but Xunkai doesn't care about any of this as he grabs Steve by the head and pulls Steve to his feet while "The White Phoenix" tries to figure out where he is. Once Xunkai has Steve up he places him into a loose side headlock before bringing Steve around the ring to where the announce table is and throwing Steve into the table so he hits it with his back and falls to his bottom on the ground. Even though Xunkai is a bloody mess he is able to move pretty well still and in only a few moments is digging under the ring once more where he pulls out the weapon of his dreams, a barbed wire kendo stick!
With the barbed wire kendo stick in hand Xunkai goes back over to Steve who is trying to pull himself to his feet but can't seem to, even with the help of the announce table. Xunkai notices how weak Steve looks with blood coming out from all over his face, enough to cover most of his chest in it as well. This only inspires Xunkai more as he lifts the kendo stick above his head to hit Steve with it and end this match, but when he does Steve suddenly smirks and pushes himself up to his feet using the announce table. Xunkai doesn't care what Steve does and swings the kendo stick at Steve who tries to dodge it but ends up getting hit directly in the left shoulder. Steve doesn't try to remove the kendo stick like most would, but instead brings his left arm up and holds it on his shoulder as he slams Xunkai in the face with a straight right hand that knocks Xunkai back. After doing this Steve grabs the handle of the kendo stick with his right hand and rips it away from his shoulder, causing more blood to start pouring from Steve. "The White Phoenix" doesn't care though as he is already seeing between two to three Xunkai's thanks to the amount of blood he has lost already. He also isn't going to let this stop him from finally taking vengeance and shows that by coming at Xunkai with a horizontal slash from the barbed wire kendo stick that nails Xunkai in the side of the head and makes the barbed wire sweep over his face! As Xunkai falls down holding his face from this last shot Steve drops down to one knee and uses the kendo stick like a crutch to keep him from falling over and possibly passing out. While Steve continues his battle to stay conscious Xunkai stays laid out on the floor and notices he is next to the ring skirt which he lifts up to find an almost empty spool of barbed wire. There is enough for what Xunkai intends to do next though and after looking over at Steve Xunkai sits up before starting to wrap the barbed wire around his right wrestling boot. Even if Steve can barely tell up from down he is still able to tell something is up with Xunkai as he tries to push himself back to his feet. By the time Steve is able to get up Xunkai has finished his quick wrapping job and stands up to his feet as well. As quickly as he can Steve raises the kendo stick into the air to try and stop Xunkai who has just made it up to his feet, but with the quickness of a cat Xunkai jumps into the air and hits Steve with a BARBED WIRE ENZIUGIRI!!
Usually a move like this would get a chant out of the Barton crowd, but most are either just shocked by it or don't chant because Steve is on the receiving end of the punishment. Either way everyone knows that move hurt Steve badly and after Xunkai sits back up and unwraps the barbed wire on his wrestling boot he stands back up with a confident grin on his face. Slowly Xunkai goes over to Steve and picks him up off the ground before bringing him back over to the ring and rolling him in. Xunkai doesn't follow Steve though which seems odd, but the reason is soon revealed as Xunkai lifts up the ring skirt and grabs both a canister of gasoline and a package of matches which he shoves into the ring as well. Xunkai then turns around and grabs the barbed wire kendo stick off the ground before he slides back into the ring and stands to his feet where he looks down at Steve, still grinning like he has been. After placing the barbed wire kendo stick on the ground Xunkai picks the canister of gasoline up again before starting to pour gas onto various things as he makes his way around the ring, all the while the sadistic look that has been plastered on his face continues to haunt Steve who tries to sit up and figure out what is going on. Among the things Xunkai puts gasoline on the barbed wire board happens to be one of them and Xunkai drags it to the middle of the ring after doing this. Other than that Xunkai pours gas onto the barbed wire hockey stick Steve threw into the ring, one of the regular kendo sticks, and the of course the barbed wire kendo stick. Once he has done this Xunkai goes back over to grab the matches, but notices Steve is sitting back up and also has the matches in his hand. Xunkai is visibly upset about Steve trying to ruin his little plan and goes over to Steve who looks up only to have the gasoline canister coming crashing down at his head. Somehow Steve is able to bring his right arm up and block the canister, but it still inflicts damage on Steve's arm. Xunkai is now very upset and throws the canister out of the ring after Steve blocked it before going to hit Steve with a kick to the side of the head. This time Steve brings up his left hand to block the kick and seems to be regaining his senses somewhat as he shoves Xunkai's leg off his arm and stands back up to his feet.
Now a bloody Xunkai is furious and goes to punch Steve right in the face. This connects and blood splatters on the ground and on the tape that Xunkai has on his hands, but Steve doesn't budge. Instead he grabs Xunkai's arm with his left hand before pulling Xunkai's arm down away from his face and slamming Xunkai in the face with a right hand, the same right hand that has the matches in it. Blood from Xunkai's face starts to pour out onto the tape on Steve's hands which gets a smirk from Steve who follows up his last punch by kicking Xunkai in the gut and placing Xunkai into a reverse standing head scissors. Steve lets the matches from his right hand drop to the ground as he spins around and places Xunkai into a Reverse Gory Special, but Steve then moves towards the middle of the ring where the barbed wire board is. The arena fills with cheers as people think they know what is coming next, but most are wrong as Steve then suddenly rushes backwards and slams Xunkai into the barbed wire ropes while in the Reverse Gory Special! Xunkai's abdomen and chest are torn into by the barbed wire strands which Steve makes sure to grind Xunkai into before walking away from the ropes and nailing Xunkai with a Reverse Gory Special Piledriver. With what seems to be the last of his energy Steve crawls over onto Xunkai to finally end this match, 1...2...2.5...Xunkai kicks out! Almost no one can believe it as Xunkai kicks out of a move that would end most matches, especially one as brutal as this. Still, Steve sees that he might have to go to his last resort and as he stands up he grabs the matches off the ground and takes one before walking towards the barbed wire hockey stick while striking it. Steve then lets the match drop onto the barbed wire hockey stick and it starts on fire! At the same time Xunkai starts to shake the cobwebs as quickly as he can and sits up where he finds a match that got free of the package. Swiftly Xunkai grabs this match and strikes it on the mat before looking to his side where he sees the barbed wire kendo stick which he sets on fire! Now Joe Schmoe who has been relatively calm this entire match can be seen becoming nervous as Steve grabs the barbed wire hockey stick up off the ground, the blade where most of the fire has developed, and Xunkai gets up off the ground with the barbed wire kendo stick in his hands. Both weapons are burning brightly and the fans in the arena are enthralled in this battle as both men come towards the middle of the ring where the barbed wire board is set up.
"Shall we?" is all Steve says upon arriving at the barbed wire board, but Xunkai is already ahead of him and sticks the burning barbed wire kendo stick down by the barbed wire board to light it on fire now. With Steve distracted by the lighting of the board Xunkai then hastily brings the kendo stick back up to strike Steve right in the left shoulder with it, going after the injury left from before. As the burning kendo stick gets stuck in Steve's shoulder thanks to the barbed wire Steve yells out in pain before he is thrusts the hockey stick at Xunkai to make him back away and pull the kendo stick away from Steve's shoulder. Even as Xunkai does this he can see that the damage has been done as Steve falls to one knee and grabs at his shoulder with his right hand after switching the hockey stick to his left hand. Blood spurts out from the large wounds inflicted on Steve's shoulder while he continues to try and hold it in, but Steve doesn't have time to worry about his dizziness or well being right now as Xunkai comes back towards the barbed wire board in the middle of the ring again with the barbed wire kendo stick held above his head. With his shoulder damaged it seems as though Steve is at a huge disadvantage now which he surely is, but "The White Phoenix" won't give up and Xunkai suddenly stops in his tracks as Steve thrusts the hockey stick at Xunkai. This makes the blade which is covered in fire and barbed wire slam into the throat of Xunkai and get stuck there before Steve tears it back away from Xunkai who falls straight to the ground holding his throat, probably trying to scream from the pain but being unable to. Some people need to turn away from watching this after that last move by Steve due to the sickness that has been stirring around in their stomachs. Usually blood wouldn't effect these people, but due to the large amount of it being shed tonight and the sickness of what Steve and Xunkai are doing to each other some are finding themselves getting sick. Neither man inside the ring has time to worry about that right now and Steve shows this by standing to his feet, still holding his shoulder, and walking around the barbed wire board to where Xunkai is on the mat, making the usually white BTWF wrestling mat turn shades of crimson. Maybe Steve would care if it was someone else, but not Xunkai who he places his hockey stick in both hands again to hit, turning Xunkai onto his side first before driving the stick into Xunkai's chest with a SLAPSHOT THAT BREAKS THE BLADE!!
For a moment no one sees what has become of the blade, but as Steve lets go of the shaft of the hockey stick and falls to his hands and knees people see it is stuck in Xunkai's chest while still burning! It doesn't take more than a second for Xunkai to notice this and he quickly grabs the blade and rips it away from his chest which only causes him more pain and opens up more wounds on his chest. Xunkai quickly throws the blade away after taking it out, but it is too late for that to stop it from catching the tape on Xunkai's hand on fire. This makes Xunkai slam his hand into the mat a few times to extinguish the flame before he flops over seemingly unconscious. While this is going on officials on the outside spray the kendo and hockey sticks with fire extinguishers to keep those fires under control, but when they go to spray the barbed wire board Steve yells at them not to before standing back up to his feet, a smile on his face despite blood running down it and his shoulder. Steve then goes over to where Xunkai is laid out before jerking Xunkai to his feet by his hair to place Xunkai in a standing head scissors. After this Steve turns so he is facing towards the barbed wire board and gets a huge ovation from the crowd as he lifts Xunkai up onto his shoulders. When Steve does this he cringes in pain from the wound on his left shoulder being aggravated, but caring for his well being isn't what Steve is in this match to do as he lets Xunkai's upper half hang down before setting Xunkai up for the FULL FURY! Before Steve can manage to move forward towards the barbed wire board Xunkai starts to flail his legs around and luckily catches Steve with a good shot to the left shoulder that makes Steve release Xunkai and grab his shoulder once again. While Steve attends to his injuries Xunkai pushes himself back up off the ground, having just enough balance to stand on his feet at first. This changes as Xunkai does everything he can to focus and balance himself so he can nail Steve in the left knee with a kick. Xunkai follows this up with a kick to Steve's ribs on the right side before finishing with a nasty kicks to the left shoulder of Steve that makes blood splatter all over. As Steve falls forward to his knees on his way to flopping down to the mat Xunkai catches him and places him in a front facelock. From here Xunkai brings Steve back to his feet, blood still coming out from the throat and chest of Xunkai as well as dried and fresh blood being caked on his face, before placing Steve into position for a Fisherman's Suplex with the barbed wire board right behind him!!
Suddenly Steve thrusts his free right hand into the throat of Xunkai so the bloody individual is unable to complete this move and lets Steve go as well. Xunkai falls back to his knees now as Steve stands over him with a dazed look on his face that still has anger expressed in his eyes. Without warning Steve grabs Xunkai around the throat and begins to squeeze blood from the shallow cut there that covers Steve's fingers and fist tape with some blood. After a few moments of doing this Steve releases his hold on Xunkai and across his chest makes a diagonal line with the blood before grabbing Xunkai's head with both his hands and trying to squeeze more blood out of the wounds on Xunkai's head. The crowd seems disgusted with this as they should be but before long Steve stops as he has enough blood on his fingers to place another diagonal line across his chest, the two forming an X in Xunkai's blood. Instead of finishing Xunkai off though Steve instead just laughs in his face before slamming Xunkai in the chest with a kick that makes Xunkai hold his chest for a moment before flopping forward onto the ground. With Xunkai out of it once again in this match Steve decides not to pin him and instead goes around Xunkai and to a free side of the barbed wire board before lifting it up and dragging it over into the nearest corner where Steve places it so it is held by the corner at an angle, not quite straight up but no flat on the ground either. Once Steve gets this set up he turns back around to where Xunkai is still out of it on the ground and goes over to finish this thing for good. Upon arriving Steve grabs Xunkai by his hair which is now covered in blood, just like Steve's has been, before going to pick Xunkai up to his feet. When Xunkai is back up on his knees though Steve suddenly gets an unpleasant surprise in the form of a low blow by Xunkai which makes Steve fall to his knees as Xunkai stands up to his feet. Before Steve can recover from the low blow whatsoever he then finds himself on the receiving end of yet another brutal kick to his busted open shoulder by Xunkai that makes Steve fall over. Now Xunkai looks around the ring and begins to walk around it gathering things. The first he picks up is the kendo stick that still has gasoline on it. He then goes over towards the barbed wire board which is still burning to the surprise of many and grabs the barbed wire kendo stick up off the ground in his free hand. Finally, Xunkai uses the fire from the barbed wire board to light the regular kendo stick on fire and comes back over to where Steve is trying with all the energy he has left to push himself up.
The tables are turned from where they were moments ago and as Steve sits up to his knees all he ends up getting for his trouble is a shot from the flaming kendo stick, then one from the barbed wire kendo stick, and more shots from each that make Steve scream in pain as he is being destroyed by Xunkai. The sadistic "Anarchist" Xunkai makes sure to hit Steve's left shoulder with each of these a couple times as he continues to beat the hell out of Steve with the dual-wielded kendo sticks to the jeers of the Barton fans who don't wish to see Steve ripped into shreds before their very eyes. FINALLY, after so many shots Xunkai brings the kendo sticks out to the side before slamming them into the sides of Steve's head! This makes "The White Phoenix" fall for no doubt the last time in this match and Xunkai throws the kendo sticks away before going down onto Steve for the cover, 1...2...2.5...3-NO!! Steve shoots a shoulder up at the last second although the Durem fans in the crowd think it is a three and start going wild. Xunkai sees that it wasn't quite a three though and quickly goes to pin Steve again, this time digging his finger nails into Steve's left shoulder as he does, 1...2...2.9 count as Steve manages to kick out again. Xunkai can't believe this and yells at Steve incoherently as he stands back up to his feet before grabbing Steve by the head and bringing him to his feet as well. Once Xunkai has Steve on his feet he places his head under Steve's right arm before grabbing him around the waist and going for a Northern Lights Driver! NO! Steve suddenly clubs Xunkai across the back with his free left hand to stop "The Anarchist" from hitting this move that will no doubt finish Steve. Xunkai is persistent however and tries again only for Steve to deliver more shots out of desperation before tightening his grip around Xunkai's head. Steve then quickly breaks the front waistlock Xunkai has on Steve before bending down and crossing Xunkai's legs to hit Xunkai with a Cross-Legged Brainbuster! That HAS to be it as Steve crawls over onto Xunkai for the cover after hitting this move, 1...2...2.5...2.999 count! Xunkai manages to kick out to the shock of the crowd who has seen him beat by this move before while less hurt.
Now Steve slowly gets back to his feet, knowing that there is only one thing left he can do to stop Xunkai. The blood flowing from both individuals becomes more and more a hazard to their health as time goes on, but neither will give up now. Still as Steve stands up he can feel the blood loss effecting him greatly, the blood being more than either has ever lost at one period of time. Even so Steve can't back down now or he will never get what he desires most and that is vengeance for all the shit he has been put through in the past months by Xunkai and Empty Promises and with this thought being the only thing in his mind Steve goes over to where Xunkai is still out on the ground before picking him back up once more, hopefully for the last time in this match. As soon as Steve gets Xunkai to his feet though "The Anarchist" suddenly grabs Steve's left arm and bites Steve's left shoulder out of desperation and not having the strength to do anything else. Steve yells in pain as he smashes his right elbow into Xunkai's face a few times before Xunkai lets go of Steve and falls back to his bottom. Steve clutches at his shoulder which is in an enormous amount of pain. Xunkai sees this may be his only chance left in the match and quickly starts digging through his wrestling boot before pulling out a small cloth bag of salt just like in the Taped Fist match!! Out of the corner of his eye Steve notices Xunkai trying to open this bag and with his shoulder still in a massive amount of pain Steve walks back over to Xunkai who opens the bag and goes to throw it at Steve BUT STEVE KICKS THE BAG OF SALT INTO XUNKAI'S FACE!!! The salt also gets into the large wounds on Xunkai's chest as well as the ones on Xunkai's throat. All this combined makes Xunkai scream out in pain worse than possibly anyone has in BTWF history as Steve grabs Xunkai with his right arm and brings him back to his feet. Steve then drags Xunkai over to where the barbed wire board is in the corner and turns Xunkai around before lifting him up onto his shoulders. As soon as Xunkai is placed on the left shoulder of Steve though, the pain starts to make it impossible for Steve to do this next move, but somehow Steve manages to keep Xunkai held up on his shoulders with his right arm which he has hooked around Xunkai's head and neck before he hits Xunkai with a ONE ARMED BURNING HAMMER THROUGH THE FLAMING BARBED WIRE BOARD!!!! The Barton Arena ERUPTS in cheers and chants as Steve rolls Xunkai over while he is still entangled in the burning barbed wire for a pin, 1...2...3!!!

|Before Victor is even done with this announcement the fire on the broken barbed wire board is being put out by officials on the outside so neither Xunkai or Steve ends up suffering severe burns from it. While this is being done the barbed wire ropes are being taken down as fast as possible and the ring becomes filled with officials and paramedics who tell people not to move Steve or Xunkai yet as they are both twisted around in the barbed wire badly, Xunkai especially as he has barbed wire actually stuck in the top of his head from the Burning Hammer and the medics are trying to find the safest way to remove it. After a while of messing around with getting Steve and Xunkai out of the mess both are successfully removed before being rushed off to the back on stretchers as the ring is cleaned the best it can be for the next match and the ropes are placed back where they belong while the barbed wire is taken carefully away to be disposed of.|
