Bio: in Arishima was born in Osaka, Japan. His father, Kenji Arishima, was in the military, and his mother worked as a school teacher. At the age of 3, his family left Japan. His mother, Katrina Johnson Arishima was more than happy that they were moving back to her home state of Georgia. Once they were in the United States, after Jin turned 5 and started to settle in, his father decided it was best for him to retire. His father, Kenji, was a fluent Japanese and English speaker. Though he had already taken in English as his main language, his father taught him Japanese.
When Jin was 8, he started taking Go Ju Ryu Karate and Shotokan Karate classes for self defense. Jin took his classes seriously and would eventually become a black belt. When he was 14, and about to enroll in high school, he picked up traditional wrestling. For all four years of high school, he was the top star on his wrestling team. After high school got out, at the age of 17, he told his parents that he wanted to go to wrestling school.
In the beginning, this upset his parents, but they always thought it was better for your kids to follow their dreams. In order to have a back-up plan, just in case wrestling didn’t work out, he did go to college, for Computer Engineering. For the next 4 years of his life, he balanced the pressure of partying, school, and wrestling. After earning his degree, and becoming very talented in professional wrestling he tried out for Gaia Wrestling Federation. Being very respectful, and very good in the ring, he was taken in by the GWF. He went by the wrestling alias as Onslaught. During his GWF reign, he held the World Heavyweight Title, and was a member of the now dismembered Heat Foundation.
Jin was pretty successful during his run, in the revamped GWF wrestling league, named Coast to Coast wrestling. There, he had many classic matches from the Hell in a Cell match with Killa K, and the Ultimate X match up with Achilles and Red Comet. Meanwhile in CTC, Jin’s rivalry with Killa K formed a friendship between the two wrestlers, and they formed a successful faction named “Tha Outlawz” with rookie wrestler, Kasualty. In the year 2005, in May, CTC decided to shut down. From there on out, Jin had labeled himself as retired. Even though he had enough money to live off of for the rest of his life, sitting at home in Atlanta just wasn’t something he felt like he was ready to do. He eventually contacted the Barton Town Wrestling Federation CEO, Brain Blade.
Entrance Theme: "Tha King" by T.I.
Entrance:
“And in case you forgot, I’m the kinggggggg.”
The arena goes dim, and dark. Suddenly, the opening beat for “Tha King” plays. On the titantron, a man is shown, with his back turned. The camera turns in, and he turns his head slightly, and the only thing that is visible is a smirk on his face.
All hail Atlanta's own, owner of Atlanta's throne
If he ain't want no trouble he just shoulda left the man alone
This the scene shown and evident Atlanta’s known
The king's been the one representing all of Atlanta’s zones
Back when niggas been representing Atlanta wrong
Every shot he got, he put the hoods of Atlanta on
The big screen, then hit every trap and traveled on
Past, present to Texas to Alabama strong
Down in Miami, up to Louisiana homes,
From the Carolinas, Virginia, to David Banner's home
I'm well connected haters, best to mind ya manners homes
I got a nickel-plated 38, but hey the hammer chrome
And it shine like ya should set the phantom on
In it see me riding, getting blown like a saxophone
Hey shawty spitting shit it takes to put a candle on
If I ain't on ya tube dude, you must got ya channel wrong
Smoke begins to fill up the ramp area, and fire then emits off the stage, showing some light on the stage. Someone walks through the fire on the entrance way, standing in the smoke, the only thing that can be seen is a man standing with his head tilted downward. While the first verse of “Tha King” finishes up, the red, green, and blue lights begin to flutter throughout the arena. Jin steps out of the smoke, revealing himself.
I'm the king of the south, there is none flyer
Sucker MC's outta call me sire, ya songs ok, but I'm on fire
24 inches on my rims and tires
I'm the king of the south, there is none flyer
Sucker MC's outta call me sire, you was on top
But I pass right by ya, I will not stop, I won't retire
Jin walks along the ramp, with a bottle of water in his hand. He get’s a mixed reaction from the fans, as the missile pyro shoots onto the walkway, causing a large explosion, and white sparks fly off behind Jin.
I came, I saw, I conquered (ok) with no big names
No fame, no celebrity sponsors
Just the game and a flow that was bonkers
Nigga front if ya wanna, I dead niggas like the bitches from "Monster"
Now you been told, so don't say I ain't warn ya and don't
Let it alarm ya, when ya leaking, and the reapers upon ya
See dopeman and I'm creepin upon ya, say that I ain't the king
But you just sour, you ain't think of it aren't ya
All the hating, is no time to respond to, I miss tryin to conjure up
A way to get experience and launder, hey I thought ya record company
Con ya in to signing a deal shy of a mill cause they really ain't want ya
Moving yay, it's safe to say that they own ta ya
So it's time to move on to real estate, and get cake selling bigger stakes
I'm king of the south now, but there’s fifty states
Cause I'ma spread out and I'll eliminate who in the way
I'm 24 today, give to I'm 28
I'll be ruler of all that I survey and not just in the state
See I bend just to win, but I ain't finna break
Most you niggas fake, and I'll say it in ya face
Jin stops just before he get’s to the front of the ring. He tilts his head to the side, cracking his neck in the process. He walks over to the side of the ring, lifting his water bottle up to his mouth, letting some of it go into his mouth. He tosses the bottle into the crowd, and stands on the side of the ring. He flexes both his arms upward, spitting the water from his mouth up into the air.
Now in the ring, Jin leans back against the turnbuckle, tilting his head back, looking towards the ceiling, waiting for the match to begin.
