Why I Like the Matt and Jeff Hardy

It’s time to answer the long asked question. No, not is there really a God? And no, not what kind of shampoo DOES Edge use? But the question is why do I like Matt and Jeff Hardy? Well, why not? That’s not enough though is it so lets break this down into perspective.

Wrestling ability. This is a big one. Most people think of the Hardys as pretty boys, or the boy band of the WWF. Hardly the truth. These guys got talent. I mean, next time you see AJ do a 1080 splash onto a ladder, you call me because that's something I want to see. They have awesome moves and killer tricks and will do anything for the fans. They go through tables, get whacked with ladders and still get up the next day for a new show to do all over again. They are some of the youngest superstars in the WWF and are definitely making an impact! Matt and Jeff are energetic and always give 110% to what they do and look damn good while doing it no matter if an ankle is sprained or the back of their heads are covered in stitches. . Which leads too…

Wow! Wow explains their looks all right. Now it’s time to sink to the land of shallow. I’m sorry, but those men are gorgeous. A lot of people can’t see this but it’s crystal clear to me. You got two brothers, 6’1, 218 pounds-ish will killer eyes, cute smiles and an accent to die for. They have total and complete fashion sense and could wear a barrel and manage to make it look cool. Matt is buff and built and can flash those muscles and has eyes that you could gaze at all day and the adorable way his lip curves. He is just DEAD sexy! Now Jeff is truly extreme and has the punk/rocker/goth thing going on which I love as well. His hair is just wild, as well as the creatively shaved beard. His wild beard and bright hair makes all the females wonder just what else he shaves and dies if you catch my drift! He is lean and tall and they both have an obsessive compulsion disorder with the angry shirt removal! (double bonus for us!) And that belly button ring just makes you wanna- NEXT TOPIC!

Persona. Okay, we all know how much the WWF craves for the killer accents- not! In fact there are few times when the Hardys were "allowed" to talk and when they do, well, we all have that tape marked with "HARDY MIC TIME RECORD OVER AND DIE!" Right ladies? Yep, I know I do! That leaves us to wonder what the Hardys are like in real life. SWEETIES! That’s my answer. From what I have heard, these two are the sweetest things alive from chatting it up with a fan to offering a cheek for a small smooch, they are total cutie pies! And girls, if you haven’t seen Jeff’s poems, you are missing out on something huge! At an event a few weeks ago that someone went to, they said (sorry I can’t remember names!) That Jeff, who was injured, still went up and down the isles shaking hands limping from the match. *swoons* They are just super nice and super sweeties and that's something that's hard to find these days! Their taste is music, I find, very familiar to mine. You got the nice good beats and the loud in your face artists.

Creativity. They have got some killer creative talents. From Whisper in the Wind and Poetry in Motion, everything is just amazing! Jeff's poems are some of the best work I have read in a while. They are true and down to earth and oh-so-sweet! Back to appearance, Jeff's whole self is creative! Chopped up shirts and shaved patterns in his beard and head is just so unique, most people wouldn't have the guts to die their hair those colors! AND… I find it rather hard to find a man in leopard pants and big 'ole black pump boots, maybe we should spread the word!

Fan Interaction. I know I have also mentioned this before, but it's worth saying again. I have read numerous fan encounters where the fans and I was just… most celebrities wouldn't do some of this stuff. From hugs and handshakes, pictures and more, Matt and Jeff bring belief back to the "all celebrities aren't pricks" theory. (As do many others of people on the WWF roster) The reports of fans writing letters, and then getting responses is just amazing! It's amazing they take the time to read every letter in the first place! I mean, that takes a lot of time!

Inspirational. From one hopeful future wrestler to another, you know what I mean. When you see them perform in the ring, you want to be able to do the same thing, feel the same pop, get the same push. You see them, and you want to someday be able to do it as well. Everything Matt and Jeff do is breathtaking and amazing and you just have to rewind and watch it over and over again. And you always ask yourself, "How in the heck are they getting up again?" Because it seems that only an immortal could do some of that and live another day. When you see two man who love the sport so much that they would do anything, you know it's something special. To Matt and Jeff Hardy, it's not just a job… it's a life. And you want to make it your life as well…

You can relate to these guys too! I mean, they’re down here in our age level, extreme and wild, and a totally different kind of wrestler. I mean… look at their ring attire, that’s like every day clothes! And they have the best style (as previously mentioned) But they are the model young adult ya know? They listen to great music, express themselves via lack of words… They’re * just * perfect. You look at them, and staring back at you is a little piece of yourself or someone you know. They're not living a false life style… they are living themselves.

So… I hope these sums up just why I like the Hardys. Now of course there are many other reasons, but this just covered the basics. They are the total athletes and just kick butt! There is so much more to them… but in no way, could words explain it. We just hope, that week after week, we can see them go to the ring, and do what they've always done- shock the world and live… one heck of an extreme life.
